It's Saturday night in San Bernardino, California and the Priest is baack!!! Heavy metal reigned supreme when the immortal "Metal Gods" JUDAS PRIEST finally took the stage as Knotfest headliners on Saturday October 24th, 2015! Relentless classics such as "Screaming for Vengeance", "Painkiller", "The Rage", "Beyond the Realms of Death" along with "Halls of Valhalla" & "Dragonaut" from their latest highly-rated recording "Redeemer of Souls" were all spot on & devastatingly awesome!! Lead singer Rob Halford made heads roll without effort as he belted out his signature decibel reaching high notes and ear-piercing sonic screams. The band was hot & tight with blazing guitars, thundering bass & precision drumming! A GREAT show, good crowd, nice night to be in the pit!

As a veteran of 34 years of age. A concert goer since 1994. I have been blessed to have attended many shows that koooookkkkkkkwere beyond a concert experience. Slipknot has been near the top of my list of favorite bands for awhile. This concert put them as my #1 performers to watch live. They have the stage presence, visual act. The 2 sets were so great, I cant decide which was best. From song 1, until the final massive explosion of energy in the pits, both nights were, "religious experiences", it was beyond a concert. it was a life experience. I hung out with so many people that werent from California or even from America. there was love in the crowd. happy violence. a release of joyous Rage. beyond Slipknot there was an awesome array of amazing bands. I met so many famous people just walking around, soaking it in. Just being Fans. wherever Knotfest is next year.... there I'll be.

It was an awesome festival w/ nonstop metal and action. Slipknot played two great sets that were unique each night. Better than Ozzfest, Mayhem or even the BIG4 festivals I've been to. Great job guys and thanks for making it happen

Knotfest was a blast. Great mix of big name metal bands. The Slipknot museum had a nice mix of masks, outfits and previously used equipment. Definitely looking forward to next year. It will only get bigger and better from here.

This event was one of the best I have ever been to. Slipknot did a FABULOUS job putting these bands together and the entire museum, ring of fire, and flamethrowers. I will be going again next year!!

This was the first year for this event but the sound was not great. They lost power or something during the machine head concert. Also they kept asking for the sound guys to turn up the volume about 3 times and when they finally did it sounded much better! That was the best sounding show. The main stage needed the same adjustments but it never happened. That was a little disapointing because slipknot and deftones rocked and had great set lists but volume or something was much to low and could have sounded better! Otherwise it was a cool event

The concert and bands were amazing, don't get me wrong. But paying for the VIP package was a big mistake! First the "fast track lane" was a joke. The VIPs waited longer in line than anyone. Then we were told we would meet the band at 3:30pm and to wait in the VIP area. We waited an hour before we were told the meet and greet was really at 6:30pm. We only had time to wait in line for Clown to autograph our photobook. We couldn't see the museum or any of the other attractions before we had to be back in the VIP area. Then it wasn't really the meet and greet with the band at 6:30pm but passing out the t-shirts and posters we were promised in our package price. We were told we would meet the band at 8pm. So we basically spent all day waiting in the VIP area when we could have been enjoying the other bands performing or the other booths. We completely missed every band playing except for Lamb of God and Slipknot because we were given the run around. Plus, it was disappointing that we only met 3 of the members of Slipknot. We'll be there next year, but not as VIPs.

The first Knot Fest was great. Both stages rocked. Highlights of the second stage was Dirtfed.the Urge, and of course, Lamb of God. The main stage highlights were Serge, Prong, and Slipknot. Deftones seemed off and there was sound problems. Parking sucked and in organized. Good event, bad location.

The music was great lots of fun and well directed. Only down side was the fact that water bottles became unavailable Due to shortages and fast consumption. The stilt walkers were cool Almost renaissance fair ish which I enjoy. I would enjoy seeing more entertainment Of that sort as well as more carnival rides! Still overall it was a great time and my only suggestion is Expand Expand Expand !

First of all whoever thought of this (KNOTFEST) idea is a genius! this was the most kick ass concert i have ever been to! Come on are you kidding me? machine head, lamb of god and slipknot all in one night along with a splash of Chino, im not to sure their could've been a better line up of artists. Totally wish machine head could've continued playing after the power was kicked back on, but what can ya do huh.. I guess wait for KNOTFEST to come around our area again to get down on some electrical power blowing madness. but seriously machine head should've kept playing. I dont really get why they didnt. Question about VIP passes quick: were they only for backstage with Slipknot or Slipknot and everyone else as well??

All the artists were bad-ass, and aside from a few glitches, the crews kept everything running smoothly & excellently (light & sound were on-point). The venue was non-smoking BY STATE LAW, so I can't downvote Knotfest itself for that reason (plus: we were in a dry-ass cornfield. *I* don't want to burn to death before seeing Slipknot play). The only bit of constructive criticism I have for Knotfest is regarding the "carnival of terror": lose it. I would personally prefer it if the money spent on renting the carnival rides went to having more freaks running around--people on stilts covered in blood wearing cow skulls. Friggin awesome.

All bands there where amazing. Vip nation could have done a better job and handling the VIPs. We where supposedly allowed to enter at 1pm. We didn't get in till after the 1st band hit the stage. I dont think they relized how many people where getting vip. After we where in they did a excellent job on making sure the VIPs where getting their privileges. Well organized on doing the meet and greet. A++++ for knotfest. Hope there will be anothrr next year.

What can I say about this awesome and excellent event!? It was well-worth the travel to go to San Bernardino from Northern California. Being able to tailgate at the San Manuel Ampitheater is a privilege and something not allowed at some venues! The only downside to the concert was trying to leave the venue especially on Saturday night. It took me over two hours to leave! The access roads out of the venue are not the greatest. That aside, all else was great!

Loooong weekend but quick at the same time So many people to watch.....loooong slow lines....overpriced everything. ....bands were outstanding. Staff was nice here but like I said...slow.....ran out of beer....the windows do accept credit cards its just private vendors that dont. (WELL SOME DO) . Also there are atm machines but I have no clue what the fee was. Probably also overpriced....the actual festival was amaaaazing. Rad music...loved the venue. So many cool things to check out! But be prepared to walk...A LOT. It doesn't matter where you park. You are gonna get a fantastic work out...also pretty strict with what u bring in. I saw some people bringing in food which was surprising. But no open cigs....no lighters...weapons...no open containers...of u have a water bottle they want to watch u break the seal.... There were also tons of porta potties and also there were what I call "real" bathrooms as well. So honestly I cannot wait for next year. It couldn't come soon enough. ...im hoping they do it here again. SO MUCH FUN!

This event was awesome. We traveled from Colorado to California for the shows for our son's 14th birthday. The lineups were amazing and the schedules for each of the stages was well thought out. Our son races cars, so the Metal Mullisha events were very much appreciated! The venue had excellent sound for 4 out of the 5 stages (stage 5 was spotty both days). Beer prices were the highest I have ever paid in my life ($15 for 1) and mixed drinks in 6 oz. cups were $14. As for the show, I went to see In This Moment and was so disappointed they LIP SYNCED the entire 6 songs they played! Even their instruments weren't plugged in! I may buy their cd's in the future, but I will never waste a penny on their live show. The cardinal sin of heavy metal is lip synching. Thankfully Testament went on next and crushed it. I first saw them in 1986 and have seen them 7 times since and this was their best show ever. Skolnick's playing was on fire and he was the best from any band both days. Killswitch Engage were excellent with a solid set too. After the In This Moment debacle I was worried that Volbeat, the other band I came to see, might disappoint, thankfully they delivered big time. Fantastic set that seemed to win over new fans in the audience. Their sing along "ooo ooo" parts in songs work great in a live setting. The mixing job was spot on and the vocals were never drowned out. I'll definitely see them again. The surprise was Tech N9ne. I figured to get a beer during the rapper's set, and I'm so glad I stayed at my seat. He and his partner had a guitarist, bassist & drummer to go with the recorded tracks and they were excellent. I like a little rap but was skeptical they would be any good, but they have me wanting to buy their music. Five Finger was good, but Ivan seemed to have a beef with Slipknot? He complained about the stage, complained about the amount of time they were given to perform, and were the only band in both days not to thank Slipknot for having them on the bill. Just seemed like he was the only one of 50,000 not having a good time. Danzig was an embarrassment. Time to retire. The Roids have worn off and his voice is squeaky high, even when he talks now. He kept holding the mic to the side of his face so half his vocals couldn't be heard (on purpose probably). The too small tshirt showing off the beer gut was comical. Poor Tommy Victor from Prong played guitar with him as he did on the very first Ozzfest in Phoenix nearly 20 years ago. Prong definitely deserved better than 12:45pm on stage 5. Slipknot was excellent. Still think they could cut 4 members out and no one would notice. Overall I'm ready to go again next year. For $115 to get 45 bands over 2 days, that's a bargain.

The venue was large enough to get lost, which was good. Bands were great, but did not like all the overlapping. It took too long to get through the gates. 5 Stages 50 bands over two days. Fri VIP and Camper show. One of my best festivals! The venue is the best place for a festival like this especially in October. Free general parking, First Aide, (which I needed), the vendors, food vendors, carnival attractions, and the use of real bathrooms. The 2/3 and 4/5 stage configurations was genius! All the bands rocked!. The main Stage Line ups were killer. I went to see the Butcher babies number one. Man With a Mission, Miss may I, testament, In This Moment, Black label Society, Slipknot, Hellyeah, Tech n9ne, Volbeat, 5 Finger Death punch. Killer festival all around!

I didn't get to see all the bands, but from what I did see I really liked. I'm not so sure about having a rap band such as Tech 9 perform at a metal show. To a lot of people they were good but it just wasn't up my alley in musical preference. I did not get to see the Slipknot museum but I heard it was awesome because they had all their gear and memorabilia from 1999. Other than that, the drum circle was cool, the thunderdome was closed by the time I went to check it out but people were making a big deal on that also. My only regret is not buying tickets for both days. I would definitely spend the extra money next time around because you can miss a lot at this festival. Beer and food prices were too high but the memories are priceless.

Wasn't sure exactly how to rate this due to the show itself being amazing and the hospitality way less than amazing. When we walked up to the gate my buddy was turned away for having an e-cigarette. He walked all the way back and put it in the car. Then when we get inside they have e-cig booths...? Water was 4.50 for a small bottle and when I gave the lady a 5 she said thank you and didn't offer change. The concession stand was out of half the menu and not compensating the guests for the items they did not have. And prices were out of controll for food worse than school lunches. There were not entrance or exit only signs in the orchestra area so the staff were constantly turning people away who were just trying to go back to their seats and had to walk all the way around. Aside from all that, the bands were amazing. Sound was awesome for headlines and decent for the other bands. Over all I had a good time and would come back only for the bands sake.

I've been going to music festivals and concerts of various kinds since I was in middle school. More than a decade later I picked up Knotfest tickets so that I could see Slipknot for the third time and Lamb of God for the first time in addition to some other bands that I enjoy somewhat. When I arrived at Knotfest I realized that it was so much more. Not only were the opening bands VERY good, but when you take away the music, the sideshows and Slipknot museum were also exceptional. The venue itself is extremely well designed and well run. Even the law enforcement and security there knew their purpose. Unlike at so many venues, they were more concerned with people's safety and watching out for out of control violent drunks than they were about busting peaceful stoners or breaking up mosh pits. I would suggest going to Knotfest next year to ANYONE who enjoys metal or the weird things in this world. I personally plan on attending Knotfest every year from here on out.

Amazing is a complete understatement!! Hope this becomes an annual happening! <3 The splitting of the crowd sucked, if the rails wouldn't have been up for a walk way splitting up the crowd into left and right, it would have been way better with less vicious pushing. Other than that it was awesome.

The band line up was awesome! The festival was lacking interesting things to do besides the bands. The way it was advertised it sounded more like a carnival but with just a few booths and just a fire display it was kind of lame. For 25 bucks it was VERY VERY worth it! The bands were amazing, and they staggered the set list so even though there were two stages you wouldn't miss a band by being at the other one.

I was so happy to be a part of the first ever Knotfest. There were a few carnival rides and the Slipknot Museum was awesome. The members of Blue Felix walked around and enjoyed the show after their set. I saw a St. Louis band called The Urge for the first time and they were pretty good. I was a little disappointed that Lamb of God came on thirty minutes late, which made Slipknot start late, but other than that it was a great show. Slipknot is always incredible. It was definately worth the three hour drive and I thought it was cool that we didn't have to pay for parking and the food and drinks were not as overpriced as some venues that I've been to. I will definately go again next year :)

Venue was awesome...the staff was great...easy to get in and out of...Lots of room to move around and the sound was amazing... Plenty of vendors for everyone...Food lines were manageable...Beer/Spirits were way too much so we didn't drink much... All in all a great night

Love the festival. But dissapointed they had to cut Anthrax and Slayer set short cause of issues. And paid extra for VIP area but did not open till 4:00. So I paid all that extra money for two hours. And only one food truck.

The concert as a whole was poorly done. No places to properly get an Uber driver. The sound quality was bad and Sundays line up was poorly timed and the band's had to cut there songs short.

There weren't many bands on the lineup that I wanted to see, but the few I did see, made up for it. Major bummer that artists got off stage before they were supposed to. Sound on the second stage was lacking. I purchased general admission and thought I was getting a hell of a deal. $45 for two days of music? Then SURPRISE... $27 in fees. Are you kidding me?

Slipknot is pretty much my favorite band for probably the past 15 years and so I felt compelled to fly all the way to California from Florida for this event. I was not disappointed. They managed to bring together some of the best names in metal for a 2 day balls to the wall festival that I cried over when it was time to leave. But there are a few key things to note before I would attempt to go again. 1) if you are parking General lot...be prepared to walk, no Hike, great distances to get to the main gate. Then you hike great distances inside the park to the different stages. I probably hiked miles and miles and miles over 2 days. My feet hurt and my boots worn out (ladies - flat shoes only!) 2) this is California so I wasn't prepared for the freaking dust bowl. My sinuses will never be the same. I would take note of the people wearing skull masks and invest in one. Or a bandanna. I will definitely be doing that next time. 3) If you are a girl braving the por-o-potties you had best bring your own toilet paper. Count on every stall being out of paper and totally disgusting 3) the water is EXPENSIVE. This is my biggest gripe with all venues. We are dehydrated to death from hiking 30 miles in the dust bowl, spent $200/person on tickets and you are charging me 5 dollars for a single bottle of water?!?! Highway robbery. 4) I recommend staying at the Comfort Inn Fontana which is only 9 short and very direct miles down the road. The hotel was clean, extremely comfortable, affordable, and at an exit with just about everything food wise or whatever that you could need. All in all this was an AMAZING experience...one I will remember for decades to come. I hope that in the future I will make it back to California for this!!!! Do yourself a favor and go at least once in your life!

Bands were amazing, crowds were crazy. Really enjoyed All that Remains, BearTooth, Slipknot, Korn, Judas Priest, Bring me The Horizon, Trivium, and the Blood Drums performance at the top of the hill near the Thunderdome. 2-Days at this festival was exhausting but so worth it as were pit passes, seeing all the action up front. Security needs to be tighter as there were many that rushed through the seats and over the barriers to the Pit without Pit Passes - very disappointing.

Slip Knot and their management have gotten even better at putting on this show. Well run and some quality performances in our opinion. One of the things that is great about this festival is that even though the genre of most of the bands is the same or similar, you get exposed to and turned on to some new acts every year. Well worth the investment. If they come back again next year, we will be there again.

I had the best time of my life! San Manuel Amphitheater is one of my favorite venues- you have a great view of the main stage no matter where you are. My only issue is the parking; it's a nightmare leaving the venue.

This weekend was definitely unforgettable! Always something to do and amazing bands. We camped so we were right in the middle of everything however the entrance was way too far away. Next year my advise is that you make a separate entrance for campers.

The bands were amazing, the event stuff they had for everyone was pretty cool. The only thing I did not like was that it was never advertised that the slipknot museum would close after a certain time. That was a bummer, by the time my group and I made it over the line was being shut down.

This was a great festival, I have had to travel to Europe to see festivals like this, I have done that 4x, it was great to have one in the U.S..... The camping area was perfect, the staff was great, the Knotfest goers were all kind, I was worried that there would be fights everywhere, as I have been to many one day festivals, i.e. Ozzy Fest, Mayhem ect and fights break out everywhere, here I didn't see one, nor did I see anyone get out of control, didn't see anyone get arrested... The weather was perfect, the line up was well thought out, the portapoddies were cleaned often, which is always nice. just an all around great festival, and would def go again. the only down side that I wasn't to happy with was, no open pack of smokes allowed into the venue, cant understand that, but I am sure there is a reason.....

Typical music festival; over priced food and drinks and swarms of people. We had lawn tickets so never really got to "see" any of the bands, pretty much just got to hear them. If you go, I do recommend paying for an actual seat or a pit ticket.
