Carnifex

San Diego deathcore favorites Carnifex took their name from the latin word for \"butcher\", and fans at their bone-crunching live shows will have no trouble seeing why. The band's decibel-shattering sound recalls legendary groups like Dying Fetus, Dark Funeral, and Slayer, and their epic live shows live up to the comparisons, whipping fans into a frenzy with an aggressive onslaught of sonic mayhem. Leading the charge is frontman Scott Lewis, whose guttural growls are perfectly accompanied by Shawn Cameron's pummeling drums, Fred Calderon's heavy bass lines, and Jordan Lockrey and Cory Arford's razor sharp guitar riffs. It all adds up to a raw, intense.

10/10 would go again. Carnifex was on fleek. Within the ruins was on point. Lorna Shore knew what was up. The Last Ten Seconds Of Life threw down.

Awesome show. She Must Burn wasn't that interesting, I didn't like how the singer acted disappointed or upset when the audience didn't take his cues to jump or headbang. Everyone else was amazing. Lorna Shore got the floor moving and everyone was hype past that.
