i went to the ac food and wine festival: Blues brews and BBQ with robert irvine. He was so nice and welcoming but the event was ridiculously packed! like 500 people under a tent, you have to wait 35-40 minutes to get food, lines were wrapped around, they ran out of food, you have to pay for wine and liquor, they ran out of water, limited seating so you have to eat standing up. i thought he was going to cook for like a small crowd of us girls and have it more personal but i guess its all about the money. The pulled pork was the only thing worth eating. My grandmother makes better potato salad and mac n cheese. Just so disappointed after spending $89 on this even and still had to pay for everything.

The show was great but I was disappointed because I paid to see Gary Owens as well and at the last minute to find out he wasn't part it I wasn't happy about that at all I love him he is so funny . I was to excited when I seen him on the line up at the beginning and then when I received my final email they had replaced him which isn't fair at all he was one of the reason I purchased my ticket for the event

Usually for general admission concerts, audience members compete to get close to the stage. But for a cover band like this, people hang out in the middle of the floor, so there's no need to get there early to get a good spot. The show was supposed to start at 8pm, but for the first hour it was just a DJ playing 90s songs. It came to the point where people were asking whether an actual band was coming on stage. Eventually a band did come on stage, comprising three males and a female singer. I noticed, based on pictures, that the female singer changes from show to show, while the male band members stay the same. Our female singer was very good. They played a setlist that included an Alanis Morissette song, but it should've included bigger party songs. Then there was a long intermission where that DJ came back on. I left during this intermission. They said they would play audience requested songs when they came back, but there was no point in staying. A cover band like this shouldn't come on stage an hour late then have a long intermission, because audience members will leave.

Ken Ford is great. I seen him more time than I could count. But this this time the show was much to short I say 55min to an hour. Yes I was on time. For the amount of $ we were out at 9:00.

I brought a friend with me who had never listened to them, and he said it was awesome. He's a fan now. The show started with Rae Cassidy and the 4-string quartet performing 2 songs. She killed it. She's amazing. Stunning. Beautiful. She could easily stand beside the greats like Lady Gaga and Adele, but easily sets herself apart by having a much softer touch. Shocking work! Then Copeland came. Aarons vocals were ON POINT. I don't remember him singing THIS well live, but he definitely nailed it. Guitar tones were true to the original sounds. Drums had the deepest snare in history - SO Copeland. Bass was groovin'. And don't forget the added 4 piece string section. Reeeeeaaally nice! Sound-wise, it could've been a bit better. Part of the problem is the performers musical choices. Compared to Copeland's albums there were often times where players didn't take advantage of the original compositions' arrangement and played longer notes more often. This muddied up the mix a bit and had an unfortunate knack to drown the vocals. And Aaron's SUPER SUPER soft falsetto randomly dropped his vocals down like 9 decibels. But the sound team could've probably handled at least some of that. Vocals needed to stay on top more often, so everything else needed to be dropped or scooped a bit more. Maybe some skilled compression could've made Aaron's falsetto's less drastic... ...but then again sound guys can only do so much. Overall I was stoked and felt emotional during the performance. Great songs.

The Staves are INCREDIBLE! A MUST SEE BAND! Of course, MSP people are pretty weird and kept creeping out the band, but they took it fairly well. I'm a bit embarrassed for us.

Blue Corner always knows how to put on a great show! Not to mention I like the classy venue. The fights are entertaining with blood splatter sometimes, that's always a bonus! Not too long and not too short of a night, everything runs smoothly. I would like to see some more pro fighters. The music is always good and lively too. The night overall seems to get better and better each time I go!! Keep on Blue Corner!
