I have enjoyed reading Mr. Cosby's books & watching his TV shows for over 30 years. It was wonderful having the opportunity to see him & enjoy his humor. The atmosphere in the theater was intimate. He brought the audience to it's knees in laughter! If you have a chance to see him....DO IT!!!!

Cosby was in true form for this concert. He took care of audience noise with his easy going demeanor, but admonished those who had crying babies. Humor was great for every age group.

It was so nice to hear a great performer and great writing. So many comedians these days are shocking but not the least bit funny because they are profane, crude, and obsessed with talking about sex. Bill Cosby still has great routines, his improv with the audience is great, and even though I have heard his wrapup dentist routine a few times I had tears rolling down my face I was laughing so hard. Our seats were great, 30 feet from the stage, so the intimacy of the location added to the fun. Just an awesome show.

Bill Cosby demonstrated thet he still has what it takes to work before a live audience. His storytelling and insight on life itself are just as refreshing (and valid) as his performances decades ago; his reflections are from a more mature perspective that's every bit as humorous!

Forty years ago my wife and I went on our first date in late May, 1969--to a Bill Cosby concert at the auditorium on the University of Arizona campus. My wife laughed so hard at the concert, I thought she was going to hurt herself. When I saw that he was coming to the Desert Diamond Casino in Tucson in June, 2009--I thought this could be a fortieth anniversary date. We went and found that he is just as funny as he was forty years ago. My wife laughed just as hard as 40 years before. The only thing was the difference in price. Using a student I.D. I think I paid $5 for two tickets in 1969. In 2009 I paid $85. It just goes to show that if you keep a woman around long enough--they become high maintenance!

We saw Cosby in Tucson in June. The seating was deceiving. When online the seating appeared to be tiered and it was labled as such. When we arrived to our seats it was a flat surface like a large landing and we could not see over the heads of the people in front of us and there was a pathway on our isle so people kept walking back and forth in front of us to go get food or find their seats. There were 2 large viewing screens, but I did not pay over $100 to watch tv....I was very disappointed. I had taken my teenage son who has listened to Cosby with me for a few years and we both just love him. We would have been better off to have rented it on DVD and watched it at home. Performance was very short. Cosby seemed slightly distracted during his performance as well. His delivery was slow, he was bothered by hecklers and engaged with them too much, he even left the stage at one point to tell someone backstage to quit talking about the airport. His subject matter was mostly about marriage and elder humor as well - not geared to the younger audience that was in attendance. Next time we'll watch from the comfort of our livingroom and enjoy a dvd. On the bright side the food was good, reasonably priced and the air conditioning was working great!

I really enjoyed the show as Mr. Cosby brings the audience involved and continues to make others laugh. What really made me laugh is his theory of him making all this money and for Father's Day his children brought him a pair of those crock shoes. Bill love you and would love to see you again.

Enjoyed seeing Bill Cosby at the showroom at Turningstone. Wasnt ready for him to be heckled like he was but he handled it in great fashion. He had the crowd in the palm of his hand most of the evening. I'd never seen him live before but he was just a natural great talent.

Although I LOVE Bill Cosby and many of the things he has done, this performance was weak. Starting out with his experience at a casino and the thousands of dollars he lost was not funny for a crowd of people who are living in a tough economy and can't imagine losing that amount of money. Few things were funny. I saw him years ago and he was much better when he did a show on the Bible. Great guy. Great comedian. Weak performance and material this time.

Mr. Cosby's performance was long and boring. Like listening to your once funny uncle at a family reunion. He was just sitting on a chair talking with and to the audience and sometimes he was funny and many times not. Seating was cramped and awkward with no leg room and fifteen minutes into the performance I was dying to get out of there. People around me were laughing before he even spoke, anticipating the funny that rarely materialized. Everybody was rooting for him, willing him to be funny but it wasn't until his last joke that the real Bill Cosby showed up. He did his dentist routine, which I've heard before and still I laughed 'til I cried. It was classic, side splitting funny and I wish the previous hour had been half as good.

The show was fabulous! I've been a Bill Cosby fan since the 1960's and Bill has not lost a step. He addresses real life issues in a hilarious way that is unequalled by any other comedian. My son, who is autistic, also attended with me. He loves Bill Cosby also and thoroughly enjoyed his performance. He has memorized most of his comedy acts and it is therapeutic for him. I would highly recommend that anyone who has the chance to see Bill Cosby in person should do so! The man is a "once in a lifetime" treat. Thanks! TBear78

As a late-twentys graduate student, I remember listening to the old CDs of Cosby's stand-up comedy. Right, I didn't listen to him on record, tape, or any of his original media, but I still appreciated his humor and timing. He's still that way today, a funny individual, and one who can raise a laugh with the raise of an eye. One thing I've always thought about Cosby, one that was proven on this Father's Day performance, is that he may be pretty funny as a person, he is one of the best STAND-UP Comedians ever. His ability to jump around with the audience, lose track of his punch line, and dive into imprompt rants, all while still being very funny, is one to be admired. And at an admitted 72 years old, I applaud him today more than ever!

Saw Bill Cosby live for first time. Low key, but very funny storytelling. Show only last 1 hour and half. Had 2 hecklers disrupt the show. 1st was male whose outburst was not very sensible as he rambled on. 2nd was female complaining about his treatment of women. Cosby was calm and eased the remainder of audience not to boo or criticize outbursts. He took it in stride, kept low key. Overall, show was funny and enjoyable, glad I attended.

How often can you see a true master of comedy at work? Mr. Cosby is a rare gem that can only be improved at a live performance.. His whit for a 77 year old is sharp and down right funny. There were a couple of small interruptions of folks with personal agendas that were dealt with the upmost professionalism by Mr. Cosby. The bottom line is don't let the media and politics get in the way of experiencing on of one of the greats.

This was a fun and laughter filled performance. Bill Cosby was so very funny. He had a command of the audience from the moment he set foot on the stage. His stories were so animated and humorous. There were so many things to related to, such as a child' many questions, forgetfulness, sibling rivalry, and on and on. I laughed so hard I had tears. I was surprised to have to present an ID and clear a metal detector to gain entrance into the show. The show started late and Mr. Cosby seemed more concerned about the time than the performance. He asked the gentleman in the front row what time it was twice. The show also ended early. (Before 9:30) I truly appreciate his patience and graciousness with the hecklers. It was new material and it was enjoyable, but when a performer is more worried about the time than really engaging with his audience something is lost. I would not attend another show or recommend this show.

My sister and I grew up watching the Cosby Show. Dr Huxtable always reminded us of our dad with his silly dances and facial expressions. This weekend will be 20 years that our dad passed away and what better way to celebrate his life than by seeing Bill Cosby. He was amazing! I couldn't stop laughing. I love how he uses his personal life experiences! It did sadden me to see the protestors upfront and to have two people in the audience make no sense when they stood up and interrupted his routine. He handled it respectfully and with grace. I will definitely see him again!

Bill Cosby's performance was the best show I have ever seen, and I've seen a few shows in my 58 years. I grew up listening to Bill Cosby on "vinyl". Fantastic, hysterical, reality so true I could not stop laughing for virtually the entire show, which by the way lasted almost 2 hours. Mr. Cosby's show ,from the moment he started to speak was tuned in as he set up the entire evening on the premise of age, aging and by the way "don't applaud as I give you numbers" referring to his age and his relatives. then it began with Aunt Clara (mother's sister)< his kids and mostly came full circle back to Aunt Clara and his kids. A priceless experience to be sure

He is as funny and poignant and wonderful as always - and FAST\u2026 he quipped and responded to audience members who would blurt out things, and was completely endearing. I have grown up watching and loving Bill's humor. If I would have been the wife he asked to come to the stage I would have shocked him with a GREAT BIG KISS!!! Love you Bill You remind me of my FATHER.. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR WIFE!!

He strolled out on stage with no introduction. The house lights didn't even dim until after he appeared. He sat down, put on his mic, and just started chatting with us, telling stories as though we were gathered around his living room. Several times, he got down and sat on the edge of the stage to interact with front-row audience members. His themes included childhood, discipline, marriage, and growing old -- topics with which his entire audience could well relate. His facial expressions and story telling expertise kept the entire audience in tears of laughter for a solid two hours. It was well worth every penny we spent. I would definitely recommend sitting close enough to the stage to see his facial expressions, which at the Sioux City Orpheum means in the front third of the room. However, they did have a camera on him and projected his face on an overhead screen at about four times life size, which surely helped those in the back of the room.

The performance was wonderful! Very entertaining just like I knew Mr. Cosby would be. Had been waiting a very long time to see him in a live performance and I was not dissapointed. The Saenger theater was an extremely nice venue and was a quaint and wonderfully refurbished historical building. We had great seats on the floor, 3rd row, very close! This was my first time there and I will definitely be going back for other performances in the future.

First let me start by saying that I am the biggest Bill Cosby fan of all time! I found out he was touring last year but was not able to get tickets. When his 2010 schedule posted I begged for tickets to the Norfolk,Va show in January. It was last Saturday-only one week before my birthday. My husband kept telling me it was just too much with Christmas, our 4 year-olds birthday and then his own birthday to plan a trip. I was sooooooo upset. Then, he surprised me with front row tickets!!! We had read a few reviews of his show and people were saying, "oh, he had to sit down and he's getting older" and bla bla.....I'm not sure about these people. The show was amazing!! And any TRUE Cosby fan knows that he has always sat on stage-why not? Everyone else is sitting.....Anyway.....Mr. Cosby was awesome from beginnning to end! I sat in the theater until it was empty not wanting to leave and partially hoping to catch another glimplse of such an amazing man. We are planning to go to another show this spring in NC......and if there is not a venue near you----travel! He is well worth the drive!!!!

I'm 27 and my boyfriend is 38, we both thought that he was going to be good but wasn't sure if the age difference between us and Mr Cosby would affect how funny he would be to us. However I decided to buy the tickets as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend because I knew that Mr Cosby was one of his idols whom he wanted to meet. The performance was above and beyond, better than I ever expected, and he was outrageously funny. It was a pleasure and an honor to have been in the company of Mr Cosby. Honestly, there aren't enough stars to rate his performance. If he ever returns to Hawaii I would definitely return to see him again and this time I would bring the whole family.

Mr. Cosby has never been funnier, despite it being his second show. Tried to get a signed photo of him and my 2 daughters but he was unreachable.

@BillCosby was a class act. He was a great performer of clean comedy. He's truly America's Dad and the audience was thoroughly entertained for two hours. I am very happy we attended and hope he returns to the Lafayette, La area!

Despite the controversy he remains a comic genius with an unstoppable stream of consciousness monologue.

Although his age of 77 has slowed his pace, he is still a comedian that has you laughing throughout this performance. Everyone cheered and had a good time.

While he seemed to be a little slow to start, once he got going the old Cos was back! He can make everyday events hysterical -- he had me laughing so hard that I felt tears streaming down my cheeks! It was great to see an icon of my childhood.

Bill Cosby did a fantastic job and was his normal funny self. The folks who decided to show seem to really enjoy the event and it was wonderful how Bill Cosby interacted with the crowd.

It is nice to be able to see a comedian and not worry about language and racism making you laugh with discomfort, not humor.

We had a great time seeing Cosby. He is funny without being crude. We laughed the entire time. Protesters were there, but there were not many and they were under control. I couldn't help but notice he is having trouble seeing.

Bill was funny, but he's not that funny, jokes same as 30 years ago, forgetful, and alot of stammering. It was like listening to your grandpa tell the same story again.

With all of the scandal, Cosby remains relaxed and fun as he brings life experience, humanity, and fun presence to the stage. He is innocent until proven guilty and he was relaxed as ever on stage with wonderfully funny insights into humanity.

Despite the challenges he is facing, Bill Cosby's humor and charisma shine on. As a child, my father would play his albums and we'd enjoy hours of laughter, and Cosby still brings this to life. His unique portrayals of everyday humanity are a joy to watch unfold. Recommend his show to anyone wanting to enjoy an evening of laughter and clean comedy.
