Ricky Velez

Ricky Velez was hilarious! I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard! The guy who opened for him, Dave James, was also hilarious! I would definitely recommend going to see Ricky!

Ricky is fine but I didn't leave feeling like I got much of an effort. The warm-up acts were pretty pathetic, with one tweaker guy not really telling any jokes, just laughing and looking stoned. I guess its good Ricky is on the Nightly Show but nobody has seen it and so his comments about bits on there pretty much aren't understood. I can't really remember any other really funny segments, which kind of says it all.

Ricky Velez is so adorable on the Nightly Show, not so much in person. Wore his hat pulled down over his eyes. Every other word was F%&*. I wonder how he manages to control himself on Comedy Central. Most of all, he wasn't funny. We had to be "wanded" on the way into the venue, possibly because of his "Hollywood beef" with Bill Nye and all the death threat tweets he received. Mostly boring.

Ricky was as uniquely funny, as he is on the Nightly Show. It's always interesting to watch comedians who are on a show, then see how they perform in a night club setting. He did not disappoint. Several times I was doing the silent laughing thing because it was so funny, just trying to catch my breath. How he uses Facebook is hysterical. I'm sure many people use it the same way!
