I feel like if I died tomorrow this summer was more than fulfilling. Seeing Lamb of God and Hatebreed in the same summer was the greatest. It took me 3 years but i finally caught yall in Myrtle Beach. Your music elevated me to a state seldom reached. Thank you.

this show was freaking amazing. even the opening act was awesome which happened to be a local band. Toxic Holocaust, Dying Fetus, and Winds of Plague were freaking awesome even though I never heard of any of their songs. But personally the 2 best were Hatebreed and Chimaira. I personally went for Chimaira but i still like Hatebreed just as much as Chimaira. If they were going to do another show, which they arent which sucks, i would def tell you to go.

I have seen Hatebreed about 4 or 5 times now. They are regulars on the Ozzfest tour, which is where I became aware of them in 2002. EVERY time I see them they give 110% of themselves to their performance. They impressed the hell out of me not only with their diverse forms of mosh-inducing songs, but also with their character. It wasn't until I became an actual FAN that I understood the message that was being put through the music. It's all about power, unity, and a healthy release of aggression, and Hatebreed fans are experts in the way of the latter. When I saw them last in Austin, TX, we made the damn ceiling drip sweat! I can't wait until they come back! Highly recommended for any hardcore metal fan.

Norva was a little large for this show, which pulled down the atmosphere some. Chimaira & Hatebreed did a decent job of exciting the crowd & getting a pit going, however musically they were quite average. Hard to appreciate their show unless you are a big fan of their music. Have seen Dying Fetus before at other venues, they have been superb. However, they played first this time, so I missed them. :( Winds of Plague was very forgettable, skip them. Songs all sounded the same, and unable to get the crowd involved. In comparison, shows I've enjoyed a lot are Opeth, Arch Enemy, Strapping Young Lad, Unearth, Girl Talk.

I had bought the tickets for my boyfriends birthday and was a bit skeptik about going. The venue was better then i expected clean plenty of room and places to sit. Plus they had food not just beer and liquor like most rock venues. The line up was great hypeing the crowd up for hatebreed at the end. For a Sunday night it got packed and it exposed me to bands i would of not other wise taken a second listen too. Hatebreed of course was Unforgettable and i loved that they still still play the classics!

If you like hardcore you should definitely check out Hatebreed. Their start was near the end of the Slayer era (circa 1995) and they have added the hardcore edge, with the lyrics and following similar to say Agnostic Front, to some really heavy, kill some mf'er, go to war, destroy everything music. It is hard to describe the intensity of the live show, but worth a trip out to see'em. They played exceptionally well at the Starland, with decent sound, and some of their own lighting. As always, Starland is a Jersey venue so bring a helmet. I have seen Hatebreed several times, but for comparison lets say at Starland and Roseland. The larger venue is definitely a different show compared to the smaller venue and they can play both.

Chimaira tore the place to shreds. Winds of Plague were intense as well. Hatebreed were barely amusing at all, I might as well have been watching Creed and Staind. Sell-Outs. Chimaira should have been the headliners.

Opening bands were less than stellar, but it is what it is. We all know that's usually how it's going to be. Winds of Plague didn't disappoint though. Neither did Chimaira, but Hatebreed just tore the place down.

drove 2 hours to see this one because Hatebreed shows are always a good time. Dying fetus went on first and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the were...I had never really heard them before. Winds of Plague was next, thats when the hardcore dancing tried to make its appearance which was put to a stop about halfway through the set. Then Chimaira was next. Very solid performance, very entertaining...I dont really listen to them but if you are a Chimaira fan I think you would have been impressed. Then Hatebreed went on. Not the craziest Hatebreed crowd ive been a part of but still a great performance. Played some oldies, overall a typically great set. Good night overall, now if I can just get rid of this bangover!

Another great show by Hatebreed. The venue had a very energetic atmosphere which reminded me of the Metro and the Aragon Brawlroom back home in Chicago. The one thing I did not like about the venue/sound was the fact that the vocals were drowned out and were very difficult to hear. That goes for every act last night. Hatebreed played everything that I wanted them to play as usual, however, I was hoping that they would have played more off of "For the Lions" given that they are touring to support that release. Ghosts of War was the only song they played off of it. It was a great time anyway.

I went to this show mainly to see Dying Fetus, but all the other groups were amazing as well. I had forgotten how good Winds Of Plague are, so it was good to see them again. I hadn't seen Chimaira or Hatebreed in at least 5 years, so it was awesome to see them rock the stage and the pit again. The long drive was definitely worth it!

Hatebreed- what can be said, the crowed loved them, they kept us moving all night. The old stuff and their new stuff rocked. Highly recommended...

I went to the show solely for Chimaira and of course they did not disappoint. Toxic Holocaust was up first they were good, Dying Fetus shred the place up then up next was Winds of Plauge. My god they were awful. They took every trend possible and put it into one band, it was the worst band I have ever seen. We get it, your keyboardist is hot, yes your lead singer obviously works out, who the hell cares, play better music.

Ridiculous sound in the Pearl Room as always...Loud and clear as a bell. Chimaira was amazing as well as the rest of the bands as far as the sound goes. Toxic Holocaust was the only band I wasn't there to see,so it was a big night for me as far as seeing all the rest.

The first 3 bands (Toxic Holocaust, Dying Fetus, and Winds of Plague) sucked. But i'm not into music where i can't understand the lyrics and the music sounds like mindless humming of bass drum and tremolo picking... BUT Chimaira came on and blew us away, they sound 10x better live than on CD. And they also put on an awesome show to complement their sound. It was my 1st time seeing Chimaira but it Deffinately won't be the last. I've seen Hatebreed twice b4 at ozzfests 06 and 07 but at a smaller venue they sound so much heavier and Jastas vocals were better screamed than talked out like the previous.. I would reccomend this concert to anyone that lives for the heaviest of the heavy.

Jamey an Co deliver again - doing some stuff off the old album - Last Breath - Empty Promises - then giving us their version of Slayer's Ghost of War - as well as their new anthemic songs - Live for this - and the always brutual Doomsayer - If you never see them - remember this is a hardcore band from back in the day - they have definetly payed their dues and have the tightest sound and energy that doesnt disapoint!

Hatebreed brought down the house as always. Of course there were fights that broke out but security quickly quelled them and helped avoid other folks from getting hurt. The floor plan in heaven is perfect as you can see the stage from every where. The sound system is deafening yet clear as glass. Bars are ample and easy to order from. Pistol quick bartender as well. Catching every show I can. Can't wait for Hatebreed to come back and play a bigger set.

Toxic Holcaust started the show off and I noticed a couple of things that were different from the last two times I had seen them. One is it looks as if either Joel has hired new session musicians to travel with him or there were some substitutions made. The second was the almost complete lack of soloing by Joel. There were at least two people I knew in the crowd who had never seen Toxic Holocaust before and their impression of them will be based on this performance. While the set was good, it would have been better if Joel flexed his guitar skills. I don't think too many noticed because the mosh pit got started early and the crowd enjoyed the band. Look forward to seeing Joel again when he opens for Satyricon in September. The next three band I had never seen before, Dying Fetus took the stage next and played some songs off of "Descend Into Depravity" and older material, compared to the rest of the bands I thought their performance was predictable and lacked the energy of the other bands. The crew of Metalsucks don't like Winds of Plague and dismiss them as a fad, I wonder if they have ever seen them live? Or are they just upset that WOP sold more CD's in a given week than Behemoth? While I like Behemoth, I also have room for Winds of Plague. Supporting their new CD "The Great Stone War" they played a blistering set which got the mosh pit going in overdrive. Kristen Randall stepped away from the keyboard to fill in on vocals, obviously much happier than she was with Abigail Williams. This is a band that I think is worth paying attention to. Chimaira followed Winds of Plague and played a brutal set of songs from their latest CD "The Infection" and older material. This is another band that I plan to pay more attention to in the future. The last time I saw Hatebreed was December of 2007 as part of "Stillborn Fest", the one nice thing about not seeing a band for a long period of time is that you get to see them evolve, hopefully for the better. Other than adding a light show and the return of Wayne Lozinak to the lineup, not much has changed for Hatebreed musically. The energy that Jamey Jasta brings is still there and he can fire up a crowd in nothing flat. But what I noticed is that the crowd had thinned out a bit by the time Hatebreed started their set. One of my friends said he had seen Hatebreed about 15 times and it is pretty much the same, and the press is saying the same thing. While a lack of change can be bad, keeping to what you know can work, Slayer is an example of this. I like Hatebreed, but I would like to see them experiment a little. Maybe with the return of Wayne, we will hear something new and different.

I went to this show on a whim because of the lack of quality shows in the Philadelphia area and all I can say is that it was well worth the trip. Hatebreed absolutely destroyed everything in its path. Arrived in the middle of Dying Fetus' set. They were pretty good. Reminded me of 90s death metal which is never a bad thing. Shadows Fall came up next and sounded good, but they sound like basically every other metal band that came out 10 years ago. Around 10:15 Hatebreed came out and blazed through a 70 minute set. The good thing about their set is that they got 20-22 songs into that 70 minutes so we definitely didn't feel shortchanged. They also did a good job of devoting time to all of their albums. It's a show not to be missed.

Hatebreed astounded even me, i'm a harsh critic. From beginning to end they never let up for one second, playing at sick speeds even for them, the sound was amazing, they sounded raw and unchained, guitars, drums, bass, vocals all perfect. Jamie was all on top of the action as well. The entire band had a great stage presence, Jamie was all over the stage and very energetic, I've only seen them live on DVD until this show, DVD couldn't catch that kind of intensity. I've seen everybody from Slayer to Ozzy live and I can say with out a doubt Hatebreed is the best live band I've ever seen. Don't miss them, EVER.

The whole concert was great. There is an amazing sound system which shakes your insides from the bass. All the bands were good even the opener which are just starting out. The only downfall was that the bands didn't have enough shirts in the sizes needed so my friends and I were only able to get one shirt each rather than 2 or 3. Over 10 years since I first got into Hatebreed, finally got around to seeing them live for their 10th anniversary Perseverance tour. Missed the first two openers, Deez Nuts & All Shall Perish. Arrived during Whitechapel. They were kind of interesting to watch for a few minutes and the sound seemed good. So I was pretty disappointed with the muddy sound during Hatebreed. Could barely hear the guitars or snare drum at all. Too bassy and muddled. Otherwise the setlist selection was pretty good, though it seemed a bit short overall. Even for a hardcore band. Still, can't say I regret finally seeing them live.

Never seen them before, a friend of mine told me about them few months ago and haven't stop listening to them since. They put on an awesome show, definitely worth seeing and I will most definitely see them again once the new record comes out.

As soon as Hatebreed came out the whole place became mayhem. The whole place was one big mosh pit and it never let up. They played their whole Perseverance album and then 7 more songs.
