The game was great as well as the half time show, took my wife and 2 sons 15 & 6 and they had a blast. Will plan to make it a yearly event for us. Gonna make reservations in mid summer and plan to be a 3 star sponsor.

This game was amazing and a true depiction of old school Miami football back on the rise. Th e venue for the hrricanes is tremendous and the parking and access is fantastic. I miss the mistique of the Orange Bowl, but the crowd in here blows it away. I truly enjoyed the ability to purchase these seats on line through ticket master as a b day gift for my son and his brother for this game. Funny thing is, they are Seminole fans big time, but out of respect for Dad they held it down for me since I live 4 hrs away in palm coast,fl. Thanks for the convenience and availability to seats ,see you at the Oklahoma Game

The seats were great, the game was great, the home team played great.

We showed up. Too bad Tech didn't. Tech seemed unprepared and out of shape.What is wrong with Nesbitt? I thought our offensive line was experienced. Where was the Tech band? One thing that was not a surprise was how obnoxious the Miami fans were! And $25 to park your car!!!

The game was awesome. Picking up tickets was difficult so I'd recommend having them sent to you and avoid the will call lines.

Definitely one of the best UM games I have seen and I've been going to UM games since 1975! The stadium is a wonderful venue with comfortable seats, no obstructed views, and great food! The jumbo screens are amazing and the music choices during the game were fantastic! Everyone should experience a UM football game!

Many positives from the Canes come out of this game but the most significant are (a) stopping the vaunted GaT running attack & (b) keeping the GaT defense & its big DE sackless.

Miami definitely has a better team than Georgia Tech but they don't have any class and the stadium is not nice. Every ticket holder has to go through a police type frisk to get past the gate and the locals act like the thugs you see on the news at a soccer game in Europe. The Tech cheerleaders were verbally assaulted with the foulest language imagineable. I won't be back.

This game was amazing...The atmosphere was fantastic...Lots and lots of energy in the stadium.

Since this was my first time in the Sun Life Stadium I was over awed by the size and magnitude of it all. It was a lot to fill for a college team but the enthusiasm and sportsmanship never wavered. I had front row tickets on the 30 yard line of the home team side and I must say they were the best seats in the house.

Perfect Football weather, great seats, fun taking the 7 year old grandson to his first game.

I gave the tickets to my daughter and son-in-law for his birthday. They had an amazing time, said the seats were fantastic and the only thing that could have been better is that the Hurricanes should have won the game! We'll get 'em next time!

what a game! Miami had it in them to win but the turps had the upper hand throughout most of the game. It was not until the last minute or so that the U got the act together, offensively, and with the support of the cheering fans pulled a 26-20 victory. Weather was great and my kids had a blast!

This was my first college football game and I had an unforgettable time with my best friend, its so much more exciting in real life than over the tv. Only dissapointing part were a few fights that occured during the game. It was a very tense game and the FSU fans were greatly out numbered n some UM and FSU fans got very out of order. But other than that everyone around me was very nice even if they were UM fans and I had an awesome night :))

The ticket price was great, seating was were i wonted to be next to the FAMU, band.

had a great time tail-gateing though it was warm --sat on the 50 yard line upper deck with $19 tickets ( cant believe only 25 thousnd showed up) All in all an exciting 2nd half. It feels good to go home a winner

The stadium was huge and the fans were so amazing! Very hot outside though, many seats were not taken in the stadium especially at the way top. Very professional event.

Great event! Particularly exciting was the reunion of players on both teams from the city of Miami...both FAMU and UM recruit heavily out of "The Bottom." The teams were both great, with UM, a division one school, winning as expected but, FAMU (lower Div school) did not lie down and die. They exposed some weaknesses that UM must fix if they expect to stay competitive with top Div 1 schools. While on the other hand, FAMU will be a force to reckon with for schools in their division...look out Bethune Cookman Univ! The highlight of the event was not the football that most UM fans came to see...it was "The 100," which marches more than 420 members these days, to include ten drum-majors versus the 300 plus members we marched when I was a member back during the mid to late 70's. The Hundred paid tribute to our fallen hero and icon, Michael Jackson, during both the halftime and post game performaces. Hundred, you are still the best!

What a game from the silence at critical moments to the ridiciously loud student section. Got tickets week of the game in section 106 row (4) 6-8. Greatest section ever. best game for UM @ Landshark statidum.

I, as any fan should, have faith in my team. I went to the Miami Hurricanes first home game to show support, scream my lungs out on each and every play and in return we left with another victory. What? And people were saying we'd be luck to start the season 2-2. Only God can stop a Hurricane! Go CANES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other than the rain, we had a blast! The shuttle service was a great idea, it was fast and easy! Great Job Duck Commanders!!

Horrible stadium to have a game at. Conditions were bad and stadium personnel was rude.

A small venue, but a great stadium. Easy access, good seats. Weather was not the greatests, but outdoor football is the way football should be. Seats were in lower section, up high enough for a good veiw, but low enough to feel like you were right next to the action. The I-bowl always puts on a great game and this one lived up to the action. Those who stayed home because of a little rain missed a great one. Two big time teams played like they were in it for a championship. Suttle bus service took us right to the stadium, so we had no problems with traffice and parking. Don't miss the next I-bowl game!

Stadium was way outdated. Scoreboard did not show any replays until the second half. Half of the scoreboard/replay screen did not work for the third and fourth quarters. The promotional food was not good at all.

While this is not a Tier I or II Bowl, the execution and presentation felt more like a high-school game than a big-time college one. Both teams, Miami and South Carolina were very disappointed in what was presented. The "All-In" ticket that included "stadium meals" was worthless. It was one small stand, no signs, that had chips, soda, water and what was supposed to be a hamburger and hot dogs. I'll just say that pink slime is alive and well in both of them. Some of the other food vendors had a TV wrapped in plastic bags due to the weather....but you couldn't see the screen! What's the point? The atmosphere felt very much like a high-school game and the stadium showed it. While the weather wasn't great, the experience could have been better (entrance/parking/bathrooms/ushers). I highly suggest investing more into the stadium and the fan experience.

Ticket Master needs to have the option to purchase your bowl game seats on the team you are supporting. This the second time in a row where I was on the opposing team side. I prefer not to sit with the opposing team's fans. The Duck Commander Bowl pregame (fan fest) and game facilities and events are lack luster. It's a little to commercialized, if I hear "Its another sweet willies bbq sauce first down" i'm going to hurl. Now the bright spot was the fire works, looks like they spent all the money on the fire works.

Getting to the stadium by car is easy my issue was having to to walk through mud from the parking lot to the stadium gates and along a road from stadium gates to the parking lot. Additionally the sound quality of the speaker system during the game was very poor. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the expereince of taking my son to a Bowl game can never be measured but I think the city of Shreveport could afford some paving upgrades to include the parking lot.

It's always NASTY weather at the Independence Bowl. Geese were flying over as the COLD was blowing in. PERFECT football weather. It was good to see BALL COACH win. The only issue I had was all the mud around the stadium.

Minus the weather, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole game experience! The fans on the Miami side were like family and it was such a fantastic atmosphere. We would so do it again, only with a little more preparation for the weather. Wish I had the opportunity to see more games.

Had to walk thru mud and water to get to stadium. Left at halftime because of the feet being wet and cold. Bad seats. Raining. Took our umbrellas from us. Activities outside stadium were fun. People were nice. But bang for dollar. Just wasn't there.

As a Canes fan I'm used to walking far for parking. The blue lot is pretty far especially when its rainy and cold. But the tailgating area setup for the bowl was fun. Lots of booths and things to buy or browse. Game staff was nice and courteous. No smoking in stadium but they give u a wristband which allows u to exit and return. Stadium is easy to navigate with gates all posted throughout. Concessions were quick but I'm sure low attendance helped. Bowl committee really tried to dress up the old stadium and it was passable. Overall was a good experience.

My first bowl game that I've been to and it was great . I bought my tickets on line. Game day we walked right up to the window with no waiting and no lines to get our ticket. Totally hassle free. Thanks Duck Commander for a GREAT event .

We had great seats and the weather was perfect. We also won the game! GO CANES!

It is a lot more fun being at the game than watching it on TV. All the aspects of the game like the band, cheerleaders, etc and of course being right there watching the plays is so much more enjoyable than TV. The only negative for us is that the scores of other games finished previously or going on simultaneously were never shown. True college football fans want to know about other games. Hurricane fans need to get out and support the team. High school football players who are being recruited by Miami may not want to commit to Miami when they see an empty stadium. On a nice day there is no better place to be than right at the game!

It was my first NCAA Football Game :) The differenz in the Tailgate zone is the only negativ aspect :/ But the Game and the rest of this studium was very good :) I love Football :D

Canes looked good. Always a fan-good or bad. Stadium lacking though-limited and poor food choices, large screen on field filled 50% with ads, and small screens in concession areas way too small. i am enjoying watching at home more and more.

The event was great. Very well organized inside and outside. Great show and great people watching!

Don't get me wrong\u2026 The seats were GREAT! It's just that Miami lost in an upset and it rained the entire game. Kinda put a "wet blanket" over the affair. However, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. The fix were easy to get and the process was stress-free.

Wow. In town for the weekend, and attended the UMiami vs GTech game on October 5. Great seats, great fans, great teams. It was a terrific experience on all fronts.

Great seats! Clear view of the field, lower section. The fireworks that shot from scoreboard when the Canes scored were great. The music played during the game was loud and current. It got the 50,000 fans involved.

This was my son's first U game and they won!!! Everything was great, wish the prices of food and drinks were a little less, but it is what it is!!! GO CANES!!

The game was great and we WON! But sitting in an empty stadium was kinda boring. You pay big $$$ for an experience. Could have stayed home and saved big bucks. They should have closed all the upper levels and sold out the lower level for less money, would have looked better on TV too!

This was my first College football game....attended with my 8 year old son and boyfriend. My oldest son is in the FSU band, so we came to watch him play. FSU was not allowed to march on the field, and were given horrible seats in the 423 section. Whenever they began to play, the Stadium would play loud dance/rap music over them, so no one could here them. We were in the "family" section, but the fans were loud and using profanity. I was embarrassed to have my child there. They were mocking the FSU band and "shooting the bird" at the band. My son was very upset. I will not attend again. Between the tickets, parking, and food, we spent $300.

As a UM fan the game turned out as expected. Canes struck quick but couldn't match up with Noles on the lines for the whole game. I live in North Carolina and come down for 3-4 games per year. However I have probably come to my last UM-FSU game at Sun Life Stadium. The traffic and parking are pure chaos. You would have thought this is the first big crowd at Sun Life Stadium. Don't the Dolphins play 10 home games per year? The police are useless in traffic management. Same thing happened two years ago. Plus the tailgates are fun but way too many people drunk. Fights and out of control drunks were everywhere. I am critical of UM fans that don't come to games but i think I will sit out the FSU game from now on and save a lot of money and watch it on TV. Finally it appeared that my row upstairs near the 50 was double or triple booked. But I was there first so it was someone elses problem.

The stadium itself could use some upkeep however, the employees were great. Very kind and helpful. Of course food was overpriced as it would be in any stadium. If you are going to eat, prepare to bring extra cash. The food looked good (I only had drinks) and there is a nice area with tables to relax and eat your food.

UM Football not in a good moment right now. Venue is great, food and drinks also good. I liked the organization.

First off, I have to say that the staff at Sun Life Stadium were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was blazing hot and sunny (90 degrees and humid), and they made sure my elderly aunt had a seat in the shaded wheelchair section even though we were not ticketed for that area. I just could not believe how few Miami fans show up to support their team. It is not like NC State is a big draw, but you would think Miami would have put more than 30000 fans in their own stadium for a conference game. Maybe because there is a constant audible assault on your ears with rap music the entire game. Literally through every timeout or stoppage of play, right up until the snap of the ball, there was constant music and noise so loud that you had to yell to speak to the person sitting next to you. Once the whistle blew a play dead, it started up again. I guess that is Miami's version of a home field advantage since there is absolutely no noise from the crowd to impact the opposing teams pre-snap communication. On the plus side, the stadium was easy to get in and out of, had a nice tailgating area for each parking space, and concessions and bathrooms were plentiful with minimal wait. It was also nice to have an actual seat rather than bench seating of most college stadiums.

We had a great time at the game. Seat were in the shade which is important for a noon game. Going to another home game. Go Canes!!!

Although my team didn't win the game, it was indeed a good game. I believe that they're going to come back & whip them in 2013!! This stadium really needs to consider getting covered stadium seating. We're in South Florida & it had to be 100 degrees on that day. I got major sun burn & now I'm a couple shades darker. :(

The stadium was entirely too hot. It is unbearable to have to sit in the hot sun to watch a sporting event. Games need to be scheduled with customers in mind. I will never attend another game that starts before 3:00 pm.

I renewed my season tickets rightaway when I Coach Golden was given a contract exstension! What he seems to bring to Miami is some stability! I'm wearing a shirt and tie now to a football game! LOL! I would like to see a Radio program in Broward County next year! I would like to see more fans in the seats next year and keep the Hurricanes playing Sunlife? forever! If we can give kids anything it's playing in a Pro Stadium! Like South Florida does. Not the Erector Set Studium in Palm Beach. I have been there. I think they lower the Club Levels $$$$ We may pick up some more bodies in the seats! Not just band wagon jumpers. GO CANES Chaged the uniforms!

Of course it is always great to see a Canes football game. SunLife stadium is impressive. But, $30 parking is ridiculous. Game ticket prices are also too high. Cheapest tickets were $70. So, two tickets, parking, food, and drinks surpasses $200. Are you kidding me? One game a year is good for us.

I am a diehard Canes fan. If we would have lost the game, I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

UofMiami versus VA Tech football. Miami lost but it was a fabulous game. Seats on south side of stadium so no sun in our eyes. Great tailgating in the parking lot. Gotta come early.

It was so slow and the announcer was BORING, the game did not get into gear until the 3rd quarter. Unfortunately they (canes) lost, but you still want to support them.

I traveled from Cincinnati Ohio to Miami to experience the game. The atmosphere was great and the fans were outstanding. I felt like i fit in right away. The stadium was awesome and the game was awesome. The only thing that could have been better is if the 'Canes pulled out a victory. Either way I will for sure go back using ticket master.
