I loved it! I've seen the original and have read the book, but a live performance is always the best. So we had my mother(69), me(47), and my daughter(21). Great show!

The women that put this on were fantastic. They shed light on the horrors that many girls and women go through in the US and other countries. They said what every women thinks at some point. I went with my 18 year old daughter and we are still laughing at some of the women. I would love to go again.

The show was "cute" but not fantastic. However, the music at the beginning (which started 15 minutes late) was horribly loud, and again at intermission. Everyone was complaining that they should turn that music down. We thought that this would be equal to Menopause the Musical, but it lacked something. Could have been great, if a little more was put into it. The actresses were very good. Could possibly use their talent is a better production.

I organized a group of women for this event for a night out and some laughter. I really thought our dinner with the horrible service before was a little more exciting. There were funny parts but I didnt think the entertainment was worth the 35.00 ticket.

The Vagina Monologues was one of the greatest experiences that I've ever had. As a woman it is very empowering and just being there brings the feeling of female bonding, if even with a bunch of strangers. I recommend all women to see this at some point in their lives and even the men if they feel like "getting in touch with their feminine side."

I am a veteran to this show---This was the fourth venue that I have seen it in---and it did not fail me. I was with a group of friends and at times we were laughing so hard our sides hurt. This show is a wonderful mix of truth with a healthy dose of what we may think but never say. I would recommend this for a Girl's Night Out, a bacherlette party, mother/daughter/sister event, or if you have a very open minded significant either, it does make for an interesting date night. The talent was amazing and all three women were cohesive while being unique.

I did not know what to expect when i first purchased my tickets for Vagina Monologues. The show was jaw-dropping, heartfelt and down right perfect for both men and woman. Woman will definately come away with a new found appreciation for the most sensitive spot on a female body. Nuture it and allow it to be nutured ladies, properly. Happy Happy Joy Joy.

This rendition of Eve Ensler's powerful and graphic portrayal of women's experiences was boldly and masterfully portrayed in the small, intimate Two Roads Theater last night. The group of recent USC actors included portrayals of the secrets of a 72 year old woman ( Allie Alschuler), the spellbinding experiences of a young British woman in a sex workshop (Victoria Rose) and the uninhibited range of moaning ( Maxie Solter). This is an ensemble piece of the highest calibre and not to be missed. Each actor carried the audience into her life, evoking a range of emotions and laughter as well. Do not miss this production. There are 2 more evening performance Saturday night!!

The performance in Gainesville was definitely worth seeing. It took you on an emotional roller-coaster, yet you never really wanted it to end. All of the actresses did a good job with acting "in the moment" and just making it seem as real as possible.

This was my second time going to the Vagina Monologues and just had to take my fiance to see what a great show it was. However, I thought the production done at SJSU was horrible!!!! Horrible sound quality!! I couldn't understand anyone speaking!! and everyone kept forgetting their lines! We were in the middle of this intense part and the girl forgot everything! and this happened all throughout the night. My fiance and I were falling asleep. It was boring, not entertaining or engaging. I guess I have to give credit for this older bigger woman who did all the different types of moaning, and the girl who did the angry vagina, they were great!! It was my favorite part of the show- which is why the 2 stars. If not I would give it one. I was really disappointed for bringing someone to see this and wasting my gas driving an hour away to see it again. Big bummer

Didn't really know what to expect. All my daughter and I could say was that was fantastic. They did a great job and let me tell you there are moments when you are laughing your ass off and then there are moments where you are so incredibly sad. But this is worth your time to see. It is empowering for us women and I sure hope men get a better understanding of it also. I cannot speak for them as I am not one of them. This show takes you all over the place with different stories of the way women feel about their vagina to what happens unfortunately to some women and their vagina. It speaks about how another woman can make you feel after you have been tormented in many ways from childhood. Feel it, Love it, Touch it, Enjoy it, Be proud of it and just overall have a blast in life and enjoy being YOU AS A WOMAN! I would see this again and have definetly recommended to the girls at work.

I bought the tix before I knew the housewives were performing. Keyna Moore and Ashley Darby were amazing. Teresa Giudice was terrible. Maybe she would have been better if she had read the prose first. And she was so unprofessional that she would break character to address the audience, which brought recognition to her and took away from the overall performance. But that's what she does on Housewife.

Two of the ladies in this show were amazing and very talented, but the third was unprepared and just awful. The third lady, some real housewife from New Jersey?, had obviously never seen the script before and, as a weak reader, was unable to read the script in a way that made sense. The venue (Andiamo's showroom) was noisy and distracting. A man was talking very loudly behind us and the staff didn't do anything until we complained (in the process we missed an entire monologue). We won't ever attend another performance in the this venue, and frankly we felt ripped off by this performance.

This show was just 3 of the Housewives sitting and reading from a script then walking off the stage. The subject matter was not funny but rather more serious.

It's one of those 'like no other' performances that everyone should see! I am a little embarrassed to say this, but think it is only fair to say that the only reason that I did not give it five stars is that there were a couple of mispronunciations. I wish I were not this way, but too many years of hearing what a priority precise grammar, syntax, and pronunciation should be, makes it a little unsettling when there are errors, however small and few. Otherwise, this was an amazing night, over way too soon!

The venue was nice and everyone was friendly. The accommodations were nice and comfortable. Other than that, we were fairly disappointed. Only about 1/4 of the "actresses" could successfully read through their monologue without messing up. Frankly, I was surprised they were reading in the first place. Several were just incredibly difficult to understand. I'm sure this was a ground-breaking show in 1996 but it was a snooze fest in 2015 on this night.

The women in this play were all wonderful...each with their own personality compassionately told the story of other women. My hats off to the director, her team, and the awesome cast of the play. It brought me to tears laughing so hard at times, and crying in pain for others who had suffered. Every woman should see the show...and bring your man, he may learn something!!

I was abit disappointed, it wasn't really what I thought it'd be, but glad I went.. Thought I'd heard enuf before about the show, as it had rave reviews of being severely funny a few years ago in a different city, but it seems each show may differ from any earlier ones. The show is basically a collection of women's stories gathered by researchers years ago, could've been part of Kinsey Reports. I loved the way satire was artfully blended with simple truths & blatant honesty. I was surprised, but greatly appreciated, the segments on social injustice against women around the world. I came away from the show with significantly deeper perspective on all kinds of levels. I was not uncomfortable with the show's overall content, or my own sexuality, but I can see how some people might be.

The characters brought recognition to concepts that are deemed inappropriate, and explained how such labeling was simply a form of oppression. Also, the characters elaborated on how true acknowledgment and expression of one s entire self is very beneficial and even therapeutic. The candid manner of their explanations was humorous, and made it easier to accept and appreciate what they were talking about. So much energy was emanating from the actors, inducing such a positive reaction from the audience, including myself. I felt as if I was a part of something that was having a great impact on the world, appreciating that I could witness a constructive spreading of awareness. With an effort like that going out into the world, all kinds of people are going to learn about what goes on in the lives of women. Furthermore, the learning experience is positive, and encourages an optimistic view of the subject.

Really enjoyed this presentation. Loved the emotion, the thought provoking insertions, and the use of humor to really talk about the sometimes private, sometimes difficult yet necessary conversation regarding women, their sexuality and their abuse. Only criticism was some of the dialogue was lost because of background noises. The bar area was a little loud, a woman clop-clop-clopped in high heels and audience members were sometimes talking during the performance. It's the kind of performance that EVERY word is important and I'm sorry we missed some. Perhaps, and I'm just suggesting off the top of my head, there could be key words pop up on the screen behind them almost like "pull out quotes." Thank you!

Not good at all I thought it would be more like a play not reading from a script, I was disappointed. My invites were not very happy I felt embarrassed for inviting them to his event. I saw the same play at UC Santa Cruz and that one was excellent with real acting, not read from a script. Sorry I would not recommend this.
