As others have said, Drew's routine is a bit crude and includes frequent drops of the 'F' bomb, but if you don't mind that kind of humor, it is a great show. We made a mistake on which venue he was appearing at, and went to the wrong place. Once we realized our mistake and figured out where we needed to go, we had to walk multiple extra blocks in the freezing cold and wind to get there, but were happy we did. The show was worth the trip! Also worth mentioning is that Drew looks great since losing a lot of weight!

The show opened with some guy running around for no apparent purpose. Guess he thought it was funny. It wasn't. The Midnight show troup was next, some bits were funny, some were weird, a couple were downright right strange. Especially the bit about teaching dogs to French kiss. Drew Carey was good. He could have done without much of the cuss words, especially the F bomb. It didn't make anything funnier. He touched a variety of subjects. I would see Carey again, I wouldn't pay to see the Midnight show.

Drew Careys Improviganza was so much fun!!! I laughed until I cried!! If you're like me and desperately miss Whose Line is it Anyway...this will fill the void. We didn't have to spend a fortune for out tickest and the seats were great. I would go again and again if I could!!! I can't wait to see these episodes on TV coming up in March.

As a tryout for a new series, the show was excellent. It blended elements of Whose Line Is it Anyway with both favorite "old" talents and some great new talents. Great fun and a delightful show.

My husband and I try to see a Vegas show each trip we take there. We saw this and thought we would give it a shot and are we glad we did! This show was very similiar to Whose Line Is It Anyway with skits that the audience participated in. We laughed so hard our sides hurt.

The entire cast from "Whose line is it, anyway" was there. I saw the later show, so it was probably a bit more raunchy and longer than the 7:30 show, which is what I hoped for. The venue had ridiculously priced drinks and snacks, so be sure to fill up before you get there!

I was expecting to see Drew Carey performing stand-up comedy. He cracks me up. This was more of "Whose Line Is It Anyway" type of show. Drew had 5 others on stage with him, including Ryan Stiles, and they all took turns doing skits.

This was my husband's birthday present and we both enjoyed the show very much. We laughed until we cried. I think the only negative was the fact that we did not get our credit card back very fast, but that has nothing to do with the show. Drew Carey and his gang were awesome. Keep it up!

We sat in one of the last rows and it was honestly difficult to fully hear and comprehend what the actors were saying. I say "It was def. a taping of a show...." because you could tell that they would let each improv scene drag on and on because they would be cutting out the good parts for the actual TV show (it seemed). Now I know why "Whos Line is it Anyway" was so good - it was definitely edited to show the good parts of the show. Perhaps I would have liked it more if I was closer to the stage?? Overall - it was okay. I'm cheap, so I don't know if I would pay the $59 again to go. Drew is a good guy though! I don't want him to think I'm bashing him! ha-ha

The show was absolutely amazing!!! It was better than I thought it would be! I used to watch Whose Line is it Anyway religiously and this was just like it, which is exactly what I hoped for. I went in there hoping it would be good but I also know that sometimes improv can be tough and there can be nights where it can be hard to be funny and witty live on the spot. But let me assure you, these guys don't disappoint. Well actually, I was a little disappointed that Collin Mochrie wasn't there but I think that they may switch up actors for the shows every once in a while but who knows. And remember as the saying goes...anything can happen!

I was really looking forward to this, but I don't have much good to say about Mr. Carey's portion of the show. He seemed self-absorbed, and his material was only occasionally humorous. Plus there was no second act or even an encore. The warm-up act had more funny moments than did Mr. Carey. I expected more for the money I paid for these tickets.

My girlfriend and I have been big fans of Drew's other work and were expecting a fun evening. We had to talk ourselves in to staying through the whole act just because the tickets had been pricey enough that we didn't want to waste them. Instead of making funny observations, Drew fell in to the pitfall that one might come to expect of less capable comedians- being obscene. The language was foul and 75% of his act revolved around extremely crude sexual humor and penises. He went so far as to pantomime having sex with a woman in the audience, all while her husband looked on. Some of his TPIR content was good but again the language and delivery was very crass. Opening comedian Ryan Hamilton was actually much better.

From Carey's TV shows, prior to The Price is Right, his capability to present comedy is a foregone conclusion. It is logical then, that one would have high expectations for his stand-up show. Unfortunately, Carey;s constant dependence on crudeness and the raunchy overwhelms the wit and irony that certainly exists within the scenarios presented during act. As a result, it is easy to come away disappointed. On the other hand, Carey's opening act, Ryan Hamilton, was excellent...very funny without the avalanche of profanity.

Disliked the entire show. It was vulgar, crude and not funny. He is a very talented performer and doesnt need to produce this type of show. Very disappointed, esp after seeing other members from the "Whose Line is it anyway?" show in the past who were hilarious onstage. Wish we could get a refund.

I like Drew Carey, although I had never seen him do stand up. His warm up comedian was fabulous - very similar in my mind to Jerry Seinfeld. Clean, imaginative, very clever and very funny. Drew Carey was a significant contrast. He used lots and lots of f-bombs - fine with me generally, yet not as a crutch when you are short on the clever side as it seemed here. Also, enough homophobic and misogynist jokes and inferences to make me feel disappointed.

The Drew Carey performance at Carolina Theater in Durham, NC on Jan. 11 was comfortable. That might be a surprising description since the language was so raw - but it was not really all that offensive. It was kinda threaded into every joke. It was not so shocking as it seemed to be part of the way this guy talks when he's just being himself. If it had not been there the whole time, it would have been more of a put-off. By the show's end, it was expected - comfortable. He was comfortable looking in tennis shoes and blue jeans with a button jean shirt, easy-going, laid back and seemed to be enjoying himself. He was not rushed or overly concerned with presentation - just comfortable. The show was short. I could have enjoyed 20 or even 30 more minutes. Still, it was a time-enough night out for everyone, and he appreciated that aspect of it - a break for him from being a bit squeaky clean as the host of "The Price Is Right" and an evening of what he appreciatively called "theater" for the nearly sold-out crowd. There were a lot of sex jokes. They were comfortably funny. Again, an odd way to describe a sex joke, but he pulled it off. You came out of the show entertained, no more or less of a fan - just comfortable. He was not hilarious, yet I laughed the whole time. You didn't really get star struck, but it was cool to think, "Heh, that's Drew Carey - not a bad guy at all!" Carey is a realistic, multi-talented, incredibly successful entertainer - and he seems to know that - out there just making his way along the best he can with the rest of us to make good sense of it all - trying to find a comfort zone in a crazy world. Glad for him and for us that he found some of that easy-chair feel in Durham.

I loved The Drew Carey Show and Whose Line Is It Anyway!! Where did that Drew Carey go?? Now he's thinner, arrogant, angry, and can't seem to tell a joke without f**k this or f**k that. And I swear if I had a dollar for every time he said d**k, I would have recouped the money we spent on the tickets and then some! On top of that, he had the audacity to keep bringing up The Price Is Right like it was a thorn in his side. And he spent waaaaay too much time ranting about how good looking Brad Pitt is. And yes, he talked about Brad's d**k too! Really? Are you serious? His act was about an hour and he was genuinely funny for about 5 of those 60 minutes. It really was disappointing to see that!

My girlfriend and I were very disappointed with Drew Carey. His act was overly vulgar and his humor was more of a criticism of situations rather than finding the funny side of things. I've been a fan of Drew Carey from his TV sitcom and Who's Line is it Anyway show but, seeing him live made me lose a lot of respect for him. Having grown up in South Philly, I'm far from being a prude. However, unless you like hearing the F-word used almost continuously in a non-funny context, don't waste your money on Drew Carey's stand-up comedy. Judging by the lack of laughter in the audience, his act wasn't funny.

For those of you that know Drew Carey only from The Price Is Right, this may not be the show for you. However, if you know him from before, go to see him. He's funny, he's personable, he's relatable. He's a little out of step as a standup comedian, due to his daytime gig, but my husband and I still enjoyed it. He has a dirty mouth, so buyer beware. I'm glad to see that Drew paid Des Moines a nice visit. There were certainly more older people than I expected because his content was definitely rated R. Pretty fair comedy for a high school audience. The warm -up guy was totally lame and stupid. The Improv act was pretty good and may have been the high lite of the show. Carey did quite a bit of material on the Price is Right and that was probably funny to someone who watches the show. I don't, so it was not so funny. Really just an occasional laugh here and there. Drew Carey is originally from Cleveland, and felt completely at home with the Buffalo crowd at Seneca Niagara Casino. He seemed ready for a great gig from the first minute of the show, and his show was the BEST STAND UP COMEDY PERFORMANCE that I have ever seen at Seneca Niagara Casino. BETTER THAN LEWIS BLACK or CHRIS ROCK to be sure! He told some hysterical, behind-the-scenes jokes about The Price Is Right...noting that the TPIR does not install spas and YES, you have to pay tax!! He did a great bit on the real "father" of the Civil Rights Movement, and compared average men to Honda Civics. If you were there, ya know what I mean. I left with a smile on my face, and hope he comes back to Buffalo real soon!!

We are also huge "Who's Line is it Anyway" and Price is Right fans, so I guess we went in already geared up to enjoy it, but never the less, it was way worth the price of admission. The only thing that was disappointing was Ryan Styles did not show up. Oh well, next time. The actors that DID show up performed to perfection and made us laugh non-stop for two hours. Bottom line, if you like Improv comedy, this is the best show you can possibly go too, hands down. Jim Belushi's show is good, but nothing like this.

Drew exceeded my expectations! I've been watching his shows for years and was glad to finally be able to see him in person!

This was one of the worst shows I've ever been to. Not only were the seats so crammed together that you couldn't get comfortable (I unfortunately was seated next to an extremely large person who needed 2 seats) but the show itself was terrible. The improv troop was offensive and not even slightly funny. It was a very poor choice for a warm-up act. Drew Carey's stand-up show wasn't much better. It was a huge disappointment and I would never recommend this show to anyone I know. Definitely not worth the price of the very expensive tickets we bought.

Drew's standup was pretty funny but I didn't like the skits too much as they were too gross for me. I wish he would have had Whose Line Is it type of skits.

Drew Carey was lewd, vulgar and plain unfunny. Good for The Midnight Show to ride his coat tails, but I would not want to be associated with his (non)talent for long.

My husband and I left this show early. The show was styled like SNL, but the skits were super short. They weren't even that funny! Most of the jokes were crude and if I want to see potty humor I'll watch Family Guy. Not at all like the Whose Line Anyway format, which is what I thought this was. If you really want to laugh, go to "Whose Live Anyway?" with Ryan Stiles and Greg Proops.

He was disgusting. If you like hearing him talk about masturbating all the time this show is for you. We left before it was over, as did many others. My wife & I thought it would be a fun show to see. What a waste of money, and two hours of my time. Bottom line is I would never walk across the street to see him for free.

The Midnight Show and Drew Carey did a great job. I am still laughing at some of the skits and jokes. Definitely a must see!
