Janelle Monae did an amazing job entertaining the crowd. She had visuals, dance moves and great songs. Would definitely see her again.

JM in concert always gives a fun, interactive performance and connects with her audience however large the venue is. The signage st the venue is horrible however so leave enough time so you won t miss the concert!

I loved every second of this show. I got to get on stage and dance with her. I thought I was going to pass out. She s so wonderful!!!!

Upon arriving to the theater, I was shown to my seat quickly and the concert started promptly on time. The opening act, Roman GianArthur, was amazing and I even got to take a picture with him. During Janelle Monáe's performance, it was lively, energetic, and fun. I enjoyed my time there and I was able to take some awesome pictures.

The concert was fabulous I danced the entire nite. Wish it could have been in my city!

I was given a single ticket last minute when a friend couldn't go to the concert. So, it was either see one of my favorite artists by myself or stay home and eat dinner. Obviously I opted for the latter and don't regret a thing. The opening act was Roman Gian Arthur who played a few original songs plus some covers like Superstitions and Purple Rain. I'd never seen the guy in my life, but he was awesome. He and the band joined the audience after they played and I got a chance to meet them- awesome guys. Janelle came on around 9:30 and rocked it. She played my favorite song at the moment- QUEEN, and crowd started jumping when she got to the rap. She also covered some Jackson 5, which works well because she almost sounds like a young MJ sometimes. She made everyone in the audience crouch down on their knees- which was hilarious- and then walked into the audience. Later, she jumped off stage and went crowd surfing. One of the best shows I've seen in a long time. I'm glad it was general admission so I could get as close to the stage as possible.

Had the best night of my life she's a amazing beautiful intelligent women and I'm glad to have had the opportunity to see her perform ! She's a reall electric lady !!!! I love her so muchhhh !!!!

Janelle Monáe delivered! The week before this concert she was on vocal rest so I was worried she might not be able to sing full voice - but she blew it away! All the music was live (full band, and backup singers). The whole concert was full of energy, the entire audience responded to this. I was dancing in (and out of) my seat the whole night!

Was expecting a good concert but this concert was AWESOME!! Janelle Monae blew everyone away. Janelle was beyond brilliant, incredible voice and endless energy. Everyone one in the band was incredible and obviously having a blast. Definitely one of the most fun concerts we have ever been to.

Miss Janelle Monae is absolutely fabulous An experience unavailable to most concert goers of this generation She it's a MUST see Classy all the way from start to finish. An all age show, my 15 year old loved it Take heed! :-)

What can I say...HIGH energy the whole time!! And I love those types of shows. Best 2 hour show yet! (And I've been to Fantasia concerts) Set, band, Janelle.....all A+ in my book. I'd highly recommend this show.

By far one of the best shows I have ever been to! Monae and the Wondaland Fam did it right! Her energy level was on 100000 the entire time. She never looked tired and always engaged with the crowd. So much engaged, that she actually walked through the crowd, while singing, hugging fans and taking pics! phenomenal! I couldn't believe it! Monae does this for the love of music and the love of her fans and supporters! I would go to this show 5 days a week and still be amazed.

Just saw Janelle Monae at the Electric Factory in Philly. The woman is a powerhouse! Fabulous performer, amazing singer. She gave a real concert that was 2+ hours worth of non-stop greatness. I am in awe. One of the best concerts I have ever attended. A similar one that comes to mind is Prince. Need I say more?

Janelle Monae possesses all the key qualities of what a true performer, and artist, should have: she is fantastic live--really getting the crowd excited and very high energy throughout the entire show--and she is a fantastic musician--the acoustic portion blew my mind. She really responds well to the audience and utilized her space on the stage, AND in the audience. Also, she made sitting through two opening acts, which were both good and bad, and waiting two hours for her to come on stage entirely worth it, without a doubt!!!

Janelle Monae is AMAZING! She has so much energy and presence. Everyone was up and dancing the whole time even though we all had seats. It was such a fun show, and she is incredibly talented! If you ever have the opportunity to see her live, I would highly recommend going!!

Janelle Monae is one of the best performers on the planet right now. Wherever you are, you MUST go see her if she comes to town. The vocals were on point, her energy filled the room, and she is clearly such a student of music and performance history. Her concert was as much James Brown as it was Prince and Janet Jackson, all while being uniquely Janelle.

The event space was good as always. I had a seat on the stage right side close to the aisle and the speakers did block some of my view which was frustrating at times however the screens that were posted up had a live feed which was nice so I could see what was going on. The crowd was as loud as I've ever heard. I was there for the Lomanchenko vs. Rigendoux fight (sorry for the spelling) and when Loma won it wasn't as loud as when Janelle Monae came out or for 3-4 songs that she played. She is an amazing talent and performer and we as a crowd could tell when she was putting all her emotions into each song and the crowd was right there with her. She broke a little on Cold War at the same time I broke and started crying. Overall a great experience in the venue and the artist made it all worthwhile. Thanks MSG!!!!

Janelle Monae is a great performer. I love her artistry and creativity. The entire concert was lively, interactive, and full of love. You will enjoy every minute of Janelle Monae's performance. St. Beauty's performance was great also. The entire Wondaland crew is gifted and blessed. This next part has nothing to do with the performance itself, but rather the venue. There was a HUGE mixup at the gate. A lot of people went to MSG's main gate to gain entry to Janelle's performance. After waiting on line and being scanned by security, everyone who purchased floor tickets were told they had to use a separate entrance, located on a different avenue, to enter the concert. Everyone knew this was a mixup because the staff was apologetic. MSG should have posted signs, or sent an email regarding the different entrance for floor ticket holders.

Damn! This girl knows how to put on a show! Days later and I'm still hoping she comes out for another encore!

Concert was amazing! The most inspiring, empowering, uplifting performance I've been to yet. My only gripe was the venue food options. I know Madison Square can do better than dry pretzels and m&ms.

The Dirty Computer Tour is an all-inclusive civil rights opera! I had the best time and the theatre was filled with love, hope and determination to build a better world for all.

This concert was amazing. You felt the love in the room all night. The opening act, St. Beauty, performance was excellent! That was my first time hearing them. Janelle sounds beyond better in person and she interacts with the crowd and syncs well with her band and dancers. I would suggest having one of the staff choose someone in the middle or back section (if applicable) to join in the stage. #BeautifulExperience

Very rarely do I stand at a concert and not want it to end after being there for a few hours, but this show was very special, and I found myself doing just that. Also, I had never listened to St. Beauty before, but they blew me away instantly. Definitely recommend!

Had no venue issues whatsoever - super fast to get in and I was in the mezzanine and the view was great. But the real deal was the show! It was so incredible - even though the venue was small the girls brought it just as much as an arena. St. Beauty is the best opening act I have ever had the pleasure of seeing perform and Janelle was all energy the entire time. She never stopped and was so personable with the crowd. Plus her music (and her) are so amazing and inclusive. It was incredible. The tickets were well priced and I felt that everything within the venue was as well. Staff was very friendly. Would go again and again.

The most welcoming space and vibe was created as she put on the show of her life! I have never felt more proud/accepted to be a black queer woman in America who had a voice and a right to love every part of my being and the people around me. Janelle was so intentional from her words, clothing, movement etc. that she was able to get a point across and use her platform for change.

Janelle Monáe s concert was fabulous. I have been going to concerts since 1972 and this concert is in my top five concerts of all-time. She has a command of the stage. The stage was all white with the all the musicians in white. She kept the audience mesmerized through out the show. I definitely recommend you checking out her show if you have the opportunity!!!

I loved this concert!! This was my second time seeing her here in San Diego. Very entertaining, very loving and pure. There s no one like her and I believe there will never be. If you get the chance to go see her, DO IT!!

Wow!! I have been to many many concerts in my life and the dirty computer show is definitely in the top 3!! Almost 2 hours of pure vocal talent, excellent dancing, positive speeches of love & inspiration, and great visual effects. She puts so much effort and love into her performances and itreally shows! Janelle's stamina is top-notch. I was tired from dancing about halfway through the show but her energy level stayed high until the last second! The band & backup dancers were also very talented. I would definitely watch this show again if given the chance! Janelle Monae is fantastic and is the future!!! Also, I drove from Los Angeles to San Diego to see her (4.5 hour drive because of traffic) since her LA show sold out and it was so worth it... 10/10 recommended!!

This was my first time in Vancouver and I had an absolutely wonderful time at the concert :). I've been to 5 Janelle Monae performances since 2007 and she never fails to give her all, the Dirty Computer Tour is no different!

Great music and great show - Little Stevie's guest appearance brought tears to many a dry eye. Janelle is fabulous, energetic, gorgeous, musical, and fun.

Janelle Monae totally delivered. An awesome band that included both horns and a string section with Janelle running the show like a mini-James Brown. Janelle's live vocals were both beautiful and funky, showing that she is no product of studio trickery. There were several surprises that included crowd surfing by Janelle and a walk on by Big Boi himself to perform his rap on "Tightrope". I convinced a friend of mine who had never heard of JM into going with me. On the way out she claimed it was the best show she had ever seen. I found it hard to disagree. Throw in the fact that the tickets were only $35, it was easily the biggest bang for my buck that I've ever gotten for a concert!!!

I expected a Janelle Monae would be fun, but I was blown away nonetheless. It was a high energy spectacle with music, dancing and theatrics. Janelle was an unstoppable singing, rapping and dancing machine. My only complaint was her vocals were not prominent enough in the mix.

All White and Black EVERYTHING. One of the most energetic concerts I've ever been to. Janelle never stops moving. She never stops dancing. You can't help but dance with her. Her show I'd definitely over a hour long. She performs all of the favorite tracks. Also she is quite interactive with the crowd. She pushes the limits and has so many tricks up her sleeve through the concert. She really turn it into an experience that you won't soon forget!!! I would definitely recommend this show and if she were coming back I would buy tickets to see it again...

From the time my four brothers, sister & I arrived (nearly two hours early on purpose), we knew we were in for a treat because out of all of us only my sister & I had seen Janelle Monáe live in 2010 when she opened for Of Montreal in Covington, KY during The Arch Android era. This time, the "electricity" of the night began in line as we started singing our favorite Janelle Monáe songs to the growing crowd, which got us a round of applause on multiple occasions, too. But nonetheless, upon entering into The Fillmore to see the stage setup & Janelle's merchandise booth, we ran to take our positions for what would be an incredible night of high energy, real musicianship, dynamic theatrics, immaculate production plus raw talent & showmanship. Opening Act: Roman GianArthur - I tweeted during the show that if folks don't/didn't know who Roman was/is then they need to wake up. My brothers & I have been singing "I-69" for months! His voice is incredible, his style is very well put together & his sound is so fresh that he commands the stage with such ease & elegance. I met & took pictures with Roman & his drummer as well as his bass guitarist (all of whom were exceptionally grateful that we came early to see them) so I will be continuing to spread the word about his movement & support when his project is released. Headliner: Janelle Monáe - This lady is just awesome! From her way of capturing the audience's attention & keeping it theatrical from beginning to end, Janelle Monáe is just that dope! She even entered the stage strapped down to a dolly in a straight jacket giving us drama for days! She looked amazing, the band was unbelievable (every last one of them) & her background singers kept us engaged with their dance moves as well as their phenomenal vocals. I enjoyed the entire set & was very pleased that Janelle Monáe sounds even better live than on the actual "Electric Lady" CD. She performed every single song I could think of from her catalog ("Metropolis," "The Arch Android" & "The Electric Lady") plus a few throwbacks (The Jackson 5's classic "I Want You Back" & Prince's "Let's Go Crazy") to spice things up. The audience loved every minute of it & screamed for more literally about 10 minutes straight before she was compelled to come back out & close with an extended encore. Closing with "What An Experience" & bringing up female Fandroids (of all shapes, sizes, colors & creeds) was highly appropriate. I encourage everyone I know to see a Janelle Monáe show at least once. You will not be disappointed.

I was on my feet the entire concert and singing every song! This woman rocked the house! I think every one should go experience her... because her concert is an experience!! She jumps, falls, introduces her band, brakes it down and takes us to church, and brings it all right back! I love her and I loved this concert! I wish I could see her live again!!!

Janelle puts on a really great show. Her acoustics are great, she sounds incredible live, her dancing/dancers are very talented, and the aesthetics of all her sets are unique and engaging. 100% worth seeing. Cant wait until shes in NYC again!

The recent performance by Janelle Monae was awesome, but on some numbers the band was too loud. I like to hear Janelle sing above the sound of the band, but she had competition from the BASS and DRUMS on some songs. A better balance in the sound mix would be appreciated. In general, I enjoyed her show more the last time she played the Ryman 4 or 5 years ago. I don t recall it being too loud then.

To be fair, I am a senior. You must have to be young to enjoy this show. First of all, the ticket said the show started at 7:30 pm. Janelle didn't come on stage until 9:00. Acoustics were bad and you couldn't understand any of the words - just a lot of noise and musical screaming. Janelle came on - I like her but this was awful. Lots of loud screaming and pounding noise from the band. Never did hear any nice music but then we left early so maybe it got better after that. This would have been better at an outdoor concert arena. Probably not a good iidea to take your grandparents to this one!

From start to finish, no one sat down until they got in their car!! LOL! Janelle is an amazing artist that you should not miss the opportunity to see! Great concert!!

The JM concert was not just a concert. It was a performance - an experience. Janelle is not only a great singer, but a great dancer as well with a fantastic band and group of backup dancers. She engaged the crowd, literally - at one point bringing fans on stage to dance. Her speaking intervals were inspiring. Finally, the wardrobe changes were totally on point and helped the experience to be even more immersive. Best concert of my life to date.

Janelle Monáe is an AMAZING entertaining. She can sing so well and really looked like she was having a blast. The sound directors would ve done better to balance the instrumentation with the vocals because the instruments got really loud and she really had to belt to connect with us. But regardless, I had a blast and I would go see her in concert again for sure!

It's warm in the balcony of the Ryman and by the end of the second song, my girlfriend and I were both drenched with sweat from dancing. Janelle Monae is a national treasure; from her sense of style to her dynamic dance moves. This is my second time seeing her, and it was just as good, if not better, than the first time. Her crowd interaction remains on point, and I love how she takes time to speak to the audience. You can tell when Janelle performs, she really puts her heart on the stage. I can't wait to see her again. One word of caution: never pick balcony seats on the far edge of the stage at the Ryman. The view is terrible and if you don't have someone utilizing the whole stage (unlike Janelle) you won't see much.

The Ryman theatre is a great setting. Janelle is a great artist & performer. Just did not like that the stair stage props negatively effected most people s views on the first floor under the balcony.

Some artists are lauded with praise because they are a triple threat and not to take anything away from those talented folks, but Janelle Monae is just a threat. Acting, singing, dancing, loving, inspiring: Janelle does it all. The Dirty Computer tour really is just a love fest or empowerment for all people but especially all the people in the margins. The stage was simple but effective and the backup dancers were amazing! The band was tight and really allowed Janelle to shine and do her thing. If she is doing a show near you, run, don't walk to get tickets and have one of the best nights of your life!

Janelle is a must-see performer! She has stepped into her own truth and it has infused her with this "glow" that is reminiscent of Michael Jackson, Prince, Tina Turner and all of the greats. Vocals, choreography, and so much energy!
