High School Musical

The show was awesome! the seats we had were the best of the best, first row!!! the price we paid for the seats were well worth it!!! the music, dancing, and the characters were amazing!!! very entertaining.

The kids did an awesome job!! We enjoyed it and would return to this venue for another show in the future.

Typical Disney. High energy, lots of smiles and happy performers and audience. Good audience involvement for the young fans. Very impressed with the performers. Troy did an excellent job of duplicating Zak's dance style. Would have enjoyed a few more songs be included in the performance and a bit longer but then I'm older and can sit through lengthy shows.

I drove an hour with my daughter for the performance. These young actors were tremendous! Bravo!!!!!

wonderful show! i bought the tickets for a night out with my family. i was so pleasantly surprised. we all loved the show. very entertaining. very funny. all the actors did an amazing job. the girl who played Gabriel had a beautiful voice. i would recommend this play to anyone . great for all ages.

Fabulous, high energy, amazing choreography, uplifting music and lyrics, grandchildren had a wonderful time, Loved it, and quite surprisesingly so did I.

Save your money and do something else. It was just ok at best.

High School Musical Summer Celebration was nice. My children enjoyed it and I had a good time. There were a lot of children, mainly girls, singing along the songs. It was successful. It was what my kids were expecting.

It was a wonderful show. I took my 2 girls and they loved it. It captured all of the great aspects of the movie. I would definitely recommend it

My 6 year old was captivated. She really enjoyed it from beginning to end.

I enjoyed this verion of High School Musical. The singing was great, and I loved the songs. The dances were choreographed well, and I was impressed that the dancers were able to stay in sync with each other. I think they could have done a better job casting the part of Troy. I was disappointed with the young man who played this part because he did not portray the same Troy that was portrayed in the movies. His version of Troy was more of the "jock" type and less of the "all-around-good-guy" type that we see in the movie. Also, the person who played Troy in the play lacked chemistry with the young lady who played Gabriella. My final thought on this young man was that although he did have a nice voice, he missed hitting many of the notes. For someone playing the lead role, I was surprised at this. Everything else was great. The actors who played Sharpay, Chad, Ryan, and Ms. Darbus did an excellent job! Overall the show was fun, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an entertaining time.

Cast and crew did a really great job with the stage production of such a highly successful Movie. Fun way to spend an afternoon or evening with your family.

I am 60 and took my 6 year old granddaughter to see HSM with fairly low expectations. I know the movies have been wildly popular and my granddaughter knows the words to half the songs. But from the opening number, the actors' enthusiasm and strong voices caught and held my attention throughout the 2-hour performance. The pacing is great, very few lulls. The cast are very young except for two but they brought many smiles to the audience because of their combimed great talent. I highly recommend HSM for any age six and above.

High School Musical was very disapointing for us. We are HUGE fans of the movies, so we expected the same from the musical. The songs seemed off pitch and they did not compare to the orginal. Something as popular as HSM shouldnt be made into a broadway show because kids know it soo well that they will recongize every mistake. The cast seemed weird to us and the costumes bad. We had to leave early because we felt our favorite songs were being butchered. We usually LOVE broadway, but this is a case where the show should of stayed on Disney.

Loved the show. Kids had a wondertime. Sound, music and actors were great. They did a wonderful jog.

My daughter and I went to High School Musical and we LOVED it! Great performance, great venue. Everything was so easy...getting tickets...parking...finding our seats. Really an enjoyable hassle free time.

I knew the TOTS production of High School Musical would be good but I was very surprised at how good it was!!!!! I took my 11 year old and my five year old and they both enjoyed it.I would go again!!!!

My family went to theHSM matinee Thursday and if we didn't already have plans for that night I would've turned around and bought tickets for the evening performance as well!! Great choreography and set. Lots of fun for kids and adults!!

I took my 9 yr old to this since she is just a HSM fan and she was all smiles during and couldn't stop talking about it. She is still talking about how cool it was.

The play was very well done and I loved the way that bits of the other 2 movies were incroporated in the play. It was brilliant how they also tied in little jokes!

The music and stage was great and what I would expect from a Disney production. It would have been nice if the cast engaged the audience more as so many of the children would have loved the chance to see the cast in the crowd. The cast could also ask the kids in the auditorium to stand (and wait until they do) and encourage them to dance altogether. My daughter and niece were itching to dance but since no one around them were dancing, they just stayed in their seats swaying to the music. More audience engagement would be better to increase the energy of the performance and make it more memorable for the kids. The magic of the musical is what the kids remember as their 'ah-ha!' moment and for many of them, it would have been really terrific if they could interact more with the cast.

We were really disappointed in this event. We thought we would be seeing a Broadway-style performance with some acting of favorite H.S. Musical scenes on stage and at least live singing to a live band or orchestra. Instead, the show was comprised of lip-synching to a soundtrack which was WAY too loud. Although the dancing was actually pretty good, I couldn't believe we had paid $75 a ticket for lip-synching to a soundtrack. It was like seeing a show at Disneyland except the ticket prices were more and you didn't get any of the rides or attractions! This was really a disappointment for us. One of my children even leaned over right after intermission and asked, "Is it over yet?"

High School Musical performance was poor. We were sitting upfront, and they were lip syncing, if not, it sure looks like it. The performers did not look like their roles that they were acting, performers misstep and falling down. We were disappointed.

Being three rows from the very top, our tickets were still over $60 each. I've gone to big name concerts for cheaper than this. I felt, especially for a kids event, and not even having the real high school musical stars, that the price was not justifiable at all. Too expensive. It was obvious they were lip syncing which made it even worse. A couple songs seem to have been live, but the lip syncing was really obvious. Overall, too expensive, and taking out the intermission, and not starting on time, the show wasn't even really that long! I was disappointed.

In the scheme of things, when I'm going to spend nearly $300 to bring only 2 of my 4 girls to a show, I presume that at least they'll be singing! This was mimicked choreography from the movies with the cast lip-syncing the actual movie sound track. REALLY!?!?!?!? I was shocked and terribly disappointed. At least my 7 and 9 year olds enjoyed it...though they thought a REAL version of Singin' in The Rain (from a local high school) was better.

I was disappointed that it wasn't a live concert with real singers. The dancing was great but it's not the same without the real singing.

The constant high energy of the cast and the casting of the members with very similar vocal styles of the original cast members kept the children captivated! The dancing and vocals were awesome! Also, liked the interaction with the audience ~ I know all who attended enjoyed themselves...the parents as much as the kids ~ we know the songs too ~ due to the countless times we've watched it!

I enjoyed it just as much as the kids! The cast did a great job!

The show was really good and very interactive with the audience. Not sure if the performers were really singing on there own...and if they were, it was totally awesome singing. But it seemed more like the performers were singing with the music.......like karaoke style.......but overall my boyz, husband, and myself really enjoyed the singing and dancing. I'm glad I took my boyz to see it.

The show was amazing...just that the souvenirs were sold out. My daughter and my niece were unhappy for not having souvenirs from the show.

This was fun. They sang a lot of songs from the 3 movies. The dancing was great -- same choreography as the movies. A lot of pre-teeners were there and seemed to be enjoying it all. Only thing is we wished they had a program where we could see the names of the dancers/singers and get a feel for their background and where they were from. They don't get any credit. A lot of would-be dancers or just those who love musicals would like to read about the performers.

We really enjoyed seeing High School Musical on Tour in Hawaii!!! The actors/singers were wonderful and some of them really looked like the original cast. The person who played Troy was probably a double for Zac Efron. Cute as can be! We would see it again.

I loved High School Musical! Great siging...sounded like the real thing! My daughter sang her heart out! Too bad they ran out of things to purchase!

Overall we loved the High School Musical performance, just wished they didn't lip sing as much. The other thing was we did not know that camera's was accepted at this performance.

It was a fantastic show!! Great for all ages. I really like how they touched on all three movies. Very well worth going to!!!
