The show was excellent. The microphone wasn't the best. It was hard to hear the first few songs but got better after about five songs.

Loved the acoustic blues section. A nice surprise. Great to see one of rock's originals. It's nice to see real musicians that don't need glitz, glamour and gadgets to make a great show.

It was a great show if you like Dion. He did a lot of older classics along with a couple numbers just he and his acoustic guitar. These songs were the blues songs he has covered most recently from Bronx in Blue cd. I happen to love them. His music is just timeless. If you had a pulse, your foot is tapping and your hands are clapping. He is still so cool. He did sing King of the New York Street/which, he is. If you have the chance to see him live-GO! He is one of the few true legends still touring.

The show at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood was fantastic! For a performer who just turned 79 years of age, his voice is better than it was in 1960... absolutely outstanding. The band had an immense amount of energy and Dion's soaring vocals put it all in perspective. What an amazing performer. The standards were there, a few well done period covers, and some almost never heard songs written throughout his career. I just can't say enough as to how great this show was... if you liked Dion when you were "younger" (I'm 74), you will love his NOW sound.

Recently was at the Tropicana Hotel & casino in Atlantic City to see Dion. Where to begin. First The showroom at Trop. is incredible. Not a bad seat anywhere and the sound system perfect. Dion is 78 years old and shows little signs of slowing up. Do not expect him to sound or sing like the records. Some of the songs date back 60 years. That being said he did leave out some of his older hits to the disappointment of myself and others. I could only guess the song could not be created "live" because of voice or other reasons. Please do not stop the slight negative of the above from taking in his concert. Dion is a living music icon and if you like the "oldies" you simply must go . I'm 69 years old, FYI. Long live rock & Roll !!

He played a bunch of blues/country type songs - nothing that the audience knew or what he was known for in his day. He played his 2 biggest hits "Runaround Sue" and "Wanderer" as the last 2 songs of the show and that was it. Very disappointing. Also, he is up there in age but he lacked energy and excitement. Overall boring and not worth the money at all.

The venue oversold seats, was a bit chaotic, I'm guessing because it was a casino they gave away alot of comp seats. Dion was ok, wish he would have started and stuck with his original music/hits he veered off with some new music and some cover stuff, Dion's voice was ok and he was engaging with the audience.

The show was terrific. I would have liked a hit song in the the first 30 minutes of the show. once he got his acoustic guitar out and sang Abraham, Martin and John, the show took off. His ending was with, The Wanderer and Runaround Sue, which I thought could have been separated. The venues was sold out and the audience was into his music all night. Great Show.

Well, one of the items on my informal Bucket List was to see Dion. Man, I was a teenager in love when The Wanderer came out! I played one of his cassettes so much it warped the tape. So my wife and I were both impressed with his signing (still has it), guitar playing and the occasional story he told about different songs and their beginnings. However, and this is a BIG "however", his Play List was horrible! He was on for an hour and a half. Maybe, maybe there were 5 songs off of his "Million Record Sold" list. The rest, although the majority of them sounded good, were unknown OR were originally performed by another group. Example: "Rock Around the Clock", best known for the version by Bill Hailey and the Comets. Why would Dion feel the need to do that song??? And there was an acoustical guitar set of 3 songs. I looked around the audience... such a somber group of people. Yet, when Dion played one of his hits everybody was standing, clapping, singing along ... the entire sold-out showroom! Unfortunately rather than standing and enjoying ourselves we sat listening to just another singer and his band for the majority of the event. I understand that after 50 years you gotta be tired of doing the same songs, but that's what the fans want to hear and that's what he should have given us!

Dion's best days are behind him. Although he plays well, and he has a great band, his voice is shot, and he should not be performing. I'd never pay to see him again. He can't hit the high notes any more, and he sings like the 77 year old man that he is.

Dion is an excellent musician and singer. However, his voice is different from his teen voice so when he sang his early songs they were not as you remembered. His band was outstanding and their harmonizing was great. He did some of his old songs but not nearly enough. He did not sing one of my all-time favorites, "Little Diane." He sang some other singers' songs and several of his new songs. They were good but I think most of us in the sold-out audience wanted to hear his old songs!

I have been fortunate to attend performances of the greatest, starting with Frank Sinatra and I must say Dion's concert was right up there with #1. His voice is still strong and clear and what ever genre he sings is superb. We love his rock 'n roll and his blues and I have already ordered two of his CD's in these genres. We attended his performance with our daughter and her son (age 16 who plays guitar and loves 50's music) which made the event extra special to my husband and me. I had all I could do not to weep with delight to have had such an extraordinary experience. I hope God blesses Dion with the strength and wear-withall to continue performing--he's still has "it"!!!

My teenage son has fallen in love with OBG (Oldies But Goodies) music, and Dion is his favorite of the genre - so we traveled from DC to Atlantic City for the show. I was a bit concerned that we would be the youngest, by decades, in the crowd and we were quite surprised to see mixed generational concert goers. However, there was a bit of a distraction when some of the older concert goers can't whisper and hold loud conversations during the set and they did not know how to use the camera on the phones and ended up taking flash pictures. The show itself was excellent. Dion had good energy and a strong voice. He played for about 90 minutes, which I think was acceptable for the ticket price. And the Tropicana was a good venue for this type of show.

A reborn talent from the 60's, Deon has his music all together. Excellent mix of old rock n' roll and new blues, he spent about 90 minutes doing what he does best. Singing is what he does. Talking is rightfully kept to a minimum. Don't miss this great talent. Venue was great and staff extra helpful.

Both performers put on a great show. Their stories and comments to the audience, especially Dion's memories of Buddy Holly, were wonderful. Both have maintained their voices even after all these years. It's always great to see and hear legends of music singing both new material and their truly great hits. I'd see them both again if and when the opportunity arose,

First, Ronnie Spector was very good. Her voice was strong and she was able to reach the notes after more than 50 years of singing. We liked the idea of Ronnie sitting on a chair with the spotlight on her while she told a story about the song she was going to sing. It gave the appearance of an intimate setting in a living room and Ronnie relating her experiences and the history of the girl groups. Second, Dion performed extremely well. We were very surprised about his professionalism as a singer. He is not a 75 year old heart throb and teen idol of the fifties. Dion is an accomplished singer. He also had the volume and range of his teen idol days. He has grown as an excellent singer. He sang his songs and other songs from the past 60 years. He demonstrated his depth and the ability to sing different types of rock. He is underrated as a singer. Both of the singers performed beyond our expectations and we enjoyed the evening.

Seeing and listening to Dion live was an unforgettable experience. He was comfortable with his terrific band and spoke to the audience as if they were family. I relished his "sit down" set where he shared personal stories about other entertainer s he came in contact with and admired over the years. They are all well known artists. I wish that part of the show was longer. However he did not dissapoint his older fans with his classic songs while playing some songs from his current rock n' roll album. I still think of him as an artist of today because one, he can still sing and write and tow can still play a mean guitar. I'm grateful for his keeping music interesting even today.

Having been a die-hard Dion fan from way back, it's always nice when The Wanderer comes home. Last night's concert at Westbury Music Fair (July 24th) far exceeded our expectations. When he came out with his trademark "Yo," Dion took us all back to the Bronx and his teenage years. He shared a bit of his history with us and combined that with some great stories about the music legends that have influenced him throughout his career. His entire show took on a relaxed, comfortable format, as Dion set the tone and the mood for the evening. We've seen Dion perform many times and were truly impressed with how he changes up his show, keeping it fresh each time, unlike so many of his contemporaries. He always comes across as thoroughly enjoying himself while singing the same songs he has performed thousands of times, making it seem like the first time he's singing them. His band added to the musical genius of the evening with their foot-tapping, can't-stay-in-your-seat, pulsating rock and roll sound. They, too, were having a ball. Dion's hit songs remain as euphoric today as they were when we all Teenagers in Love. I could go on and on about Dion's 'performance last night; his voice is still strong, his personality makes us feel like he's still back on Belmont Avenue and we're all there with him. Dion is still and will always be the King of the New York Streets! Can't wait to see him again!

Very good performance by a legend. A mix of newer, older, and classic material throughout the set. Dion and I are the same age and from the Bronx. I went through high school, college and the years that followed enjoying Dion's music. The excessive electronic amplification of the music drowned out the words and in most cases did nothing to enhance the performance. In addition, the seats were exceptionally uncomfortable - small, little spacing between rows and uncomfortably set to both sit down and stand up. What could have been a wonderful evening full of memories unfortunately became a 21st century sound and subpar creature comforts.

First time at Bethel Woods Center, and was very impressed with the facility. Plenty of seats under the roof in the event of bad weather, and all good seats, thanks to the jumbo screens on either side of the stage. Dion was great, and his band and sound system incredible. I've seen videos of his other concerts and this was just as good as any of those. Ronnie Spector was also pretty good - certainly enjoyable and a perfect opening act for Dion. the stories that they had to tell more than made up for their apparently age related vocal limitations .Really just went to see Dion but Ronnie was a good bonus. She captured the spirit of the Ronettes and their time in American music. I am of 2 minds about Dion's show. Part of my problem was that I wanted to hear the great voice of old, and more often than not, at least on this night, his voice was not what it once was. However, he put together a pretty good band with alot of energy and i gained an appreciation of his newer material. The show on its own terms was well worth seeing.

Dion's voice is strong as ever, incredibly versatile and great range. He played his old hits, some "Bronx Blues" and some new songs. The new material was surprisingly good. The backing band was great playing and Do-woppin' in the background. Dion at 77 had a little more staying power than his old audience which started leaving during his last number, a combo of Run Around Sue and the Wanderer...I guess they had to get in line for the restroom.

This team served up a night of unforgettable memories and also some new treats from their current projects. Song after song, hit after hit all woven together with the artists memories from these moments that gave us the music. You owe it to yourself to experience this event. You'll sing, you'll dance & you will smile all night long. Long live real Rock N' Roll!

Dion was fantastic and can still sing and put on a great show. Ronnie Spector was a different story. If I was given free tickets to see just her I wouldn't take them.

Loved the performance. Dion and his band are wonderful!!! The only downside is the long delay between the opening act and Dion's performance. This seems to be the norm for all venues.

Dion put on a great show. His music is timeless. He was very humble and told us stories about himself and his family (his mother is 103).

Ronnie Spector sounded great with Ronettes hits and showing short movies from the 60s and Dion was in a good mood telling us a little bit of pop history and his songs are classic pop music

Great show ...i wish i didnt miss the end. These artists are some of my favorites. They coincidentally sung my favorite songs..."Love Came to me" (Dion...he sounded like he wasnt into it enough though) and "Walking in the rain" (Ronnie.....her performance of this song really moved me). The way Ronnie coordinated her show was moving...it had a great flow. The projector and stories all all. I also enjoyed Dion singing I wonder why...and his band was amazing...to see more videos visit my link then click my username on Youtube

Ronnie was great. Her voice is still there. Unfortunately Dion 's sound system was muffled and made it hard to hear his singing. A must for my bucket list. Wished I enjoyed him more. His concert DVD is much better.

Always love Seeing Dion! I think he's a great performer and an amazing artist. It's wonderful that he is still producing new music. I love his oldies, but I would love to hear more of his current stuff, especially more blues! I'm not sure if that's what the audience would like, so I can understand the reasoning behind his set list.

The show started with Ronnie Spector. She looked good, sounded good, and had some great vintage clips and stories to tell. Her set was well balanced between the oldies her fans were there for and her new album. Her band and back up singers were superb. Next up was Dion, the King of the New York Streets. He looked good and sounded good and had great stories to tell as well. The difference was the P.A. system. Where Ronnie's voice came over crystal clear, Dion's voice was a bit muffled and foggy sounding. The soundboard crew at the Kings Theatre should have tweaked Dion's vocals instead of being "out to lunch!" You still could hear that he was singing well however, just that it was not crystal clear. Which was a shame, he too, had a nice balance between his classics and songs off his new one. I want at least half my money back, tickets aren't cheap ya know ! ! ! Get on the ball Kings Theatre !

Saw Dion at the Kings theater in Brooklyn. Amazing venue, you have got to see this place recently renovated--incredible. Dion and his band were fabulous; did oldies, did his new stuff which is brilliant, and did some covers. Altogether a great show. You must see him.

I have seen both Ronnie Spector and Dion many times before but never together. Since their songs are from the same time frame it was a good pairing. They both sounded great and were very entertaining.

I enjoyed listening to the old-time rock and roll. This is ageless music. I miss their songs on the radio. I also enjoyed the comments from Ronnie and Dion about their lives on the road. The Kings Theater was a perfect place for that.

Both performers were at the top of their game. It was a show with two number one acts. Ronnie Spector was unbelievable and the two new Ronnetes had it all; voices, looks and excellent dancing. Great use of old films, especially from the Peppermint Lounge. Dion was marvelous, his voice was the same as it was 50 years ago. And a first rate band with a white Clarence Clemmons on the sax. Set list was right on, except I wish it had include "And the Night Stood Still". I will go and see them again on July 31st at Bethel Woods

Dion was spot on last Saturday evening. Dion was in top form, the band hitting on all 8 cylinders. I was impressed by the sheer magnitude of material presented to us, from the beginning of Dion and the Belmonts up thru the great new songs from the new CD "New York is My Home". A throughly entertaining evening. Thank you Dion. I would also like to say that the Kings Theater is the most beautiful theater I have ever been in. Ever. I came to this show from Nova Scotia, Canada. Lived in Cleveland. Been (and photographed) hundreds, if not a thousand shows.Attended the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony the night before. This night, this venue, this concert was truly memorable.
