Bowzer's Rock & Roll Party

Went to a rock and roll concert and Christ and Gospel broke out...was not expecting that and LOVE LOVE LOVED IT...The backup singers for Bowzer really had a message in song but the most amazing part of the show...other than the audience participation was the amazing talent of BOwzer and his classical piano....Freddy Boom Boom Canon was right on key, very intertaining...wife was not feeling well and so we left at intermission but just an awesome performance...I would go back again and again...I might say that was the best back up band I have ever heard...they could play it all..

I knew that the evening would be entertaining, but I had no idea to the extent that it was. Classic, clean (from a musician's standpoint) rock and roll, surprises, and with some old fashioned values. So fulfilling to know that those whose music I performed in the 60's are still going strong! Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, Peter Noone and Herman's Hermits, Bowzer and the Stingrays, and Rocky and the Rockers made it an unforgettable evening. I would buy a ticket for the same show tomorrow night. Don't miss it!

I guess these performers aren t getting younger. But it seems like the same acts get recycled and it starts getting old.. but that being said. At least it s slot of original groups. No fakes... just wish we can see some different acts. Even if it branches into the 70s

Bowzer and Peter Noone put on a FABULOUS show! I would see it again and again!!

Great Show! The music carried us back to a time of fun and peace, with an evening devoted to enjoyment. A standing ovation was given to the three singers with Bowzer, called, The StingRays. They sang "The Great I Am", as a Christmas song. Wonderful to hear in this day and time! There were quite a few Christmas tunes throughout the show, with everyone singing along! All three performances were outstanding. Jon Bauman brought back memories, with "Goodnight Sweetheart". What a character! He is talented beyond measure. Gary Puckett's band was a bit loud, over shadowing him, so we couldn't hear him as well, but a great performance! He is a class act & brought back days of long ago. Peter Noone was absolutely wonderful! What energy and charisma! His songs were our youth! The audience was electric. Everyone was swaying and clapping to the music! His imitation of Mick Jagger , was to die for! Hilarious!! Each gentleman had "meet and greets" and were very personable. All around great show. We had great seats and would do it again!

The show was great. Enjoyed every minute! I would highly recommend this show to all of my friends. Looking forward to the next one.

We were not anticipating such a GREAT party! To have Peter Noon and Gary Pucket and then Bowzer and his talented group....What a GREAT SHOW!

The energy, music, and entertainment of this night was unforgettable. Bowzer's talent and humor, Gary Puckett's hit songs, and the energy, hit songs, and humor of Peter Noone was a winning combination. Nothing beats the "oldies".

Did not get to attend or use the seats. I am very sorry I missed out on the show.

Very good show but would have enjoyed more of Bowzer. Loved seeing him play the piano --- he is a very talented pianist. Gary Puckett and Union Gap were good as well. Herman's Hermits did a nice show but many of the songs had the same beat ... and the majority of the time the music overwhelmed the vocal parts.

All of the performances were great. Bowzer is an awesome emcee. His music was great and he has an amazing group of back up singers. Gary Puckett and the Union Gap were very, very good. And I cannot express how I felt to see Peter Noone with Hermans Hermits after all these years. He still has a great voice and was a wonderful entertainer! I truly loved, loved, loved this concert!!!

Bowser was a great host/emcee/storyteller and still has that DEEP Blue Moon voice. His three backup singers were great, too. Loved, loved, loved all the oldies from late 50s and 60s! Herman and the Hermits, Peter Noone and his band, were upbeat/energetic and enjoying themselves as well. So many great songs: I'm Henry The Eighth I am, Mrs. Robinson You've Got a Lovely Daughter, There's a Kind of Hush All Over the World. Gary Puckett and the Union Gap sang their greats as well: Young Girl, Woman Woman You've Got Cheating on Your Mind, This Girl Is a Woman Now. All in all a great trip down memory lane!

Great concert with somewhat of a variety show theme and seasonal songs. Peter Noone hit it out of the park as usual!

The energy these 3 elder statesmen of rock and roll showed on the stage was amazing. Besides just singing they brought a lot of fun with them.

This was an excellent evening of great music by rock 'n' roll icons !! The headliner was Lou Christie, who was superb singing his big hits such as Lightning is Striking Again, Two Faces Have I, The Gypsy Cried, and Rhapsody in the Rain. He provided some humor, especially when he turned his back to the audience, appeared to adjust his pants, and then hit his super high notes. Lou is truly fantastic !! Also on the card was Jay Siegel's Tokens (The Lion Sleeps Tonight), Freddie "Boom Boom" Cannon (Tallahassee Lassie, Palisades Park), Little Peggie March (I Will Follow Him), and Joey Dee (Peppermint Twist). All of these artists were really great !! Of course, Bowzer spoke with the audience a lot and even played a classical number on the piano (who knew?). At the end, Bowzer did his famous number (from his Sha Na Na days) of Goodnight Sweetheart..It's Time To Go !! A truly great night of amazing music !! Bowzer signed autographs in a meet & greet after the show and posed for pictures.

This collection of musicians and performers far exceeded my expectations. Best concert I have attended in years.

this is the second time we've seen him. His 'hidden talent' is on the piano, and what is really unknown about him is his great personality and warmth. For this show, we had a table right at the left end of the stage. Unfortunately, the place was only about 60% occupied and the crowd enthusiasm was let us say "moderate". The guests who came up onto the stage really were amazing as was Bowzer aka Jonathan. We were disappointed that this show did not offer the great array of old tyme performers, and the song selection, while good, was too limited and too long, not enough medleys which would have provided a broader selection of music from this great era. The fact that he came out after the show for photo ops, autographs, etc. is terrific. He will be performing this summer at the Cape Cod Melody Tent but if it's the same show as this, we won't make it this time.

One of his best ever! All acts sounded not only great but very authentic, with at least one original member in any group presented.

This show by far is the BEST show on the venue. For those that enjoy Oldies this show is a MUST SEE !!!!!!!!! Bowzer brings ONLY ORIGINAL acts to this venue and they sound as good today as they did in the day !!!!!!! I've been going to this for approx. 10 yrs now and wouldn't miss it for the world. Kenny Vance & the Planotones return was phenonmenal !!!!!!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SHOW !!!!!!!!!!!

We have enjoyed going to the Bowser show each January for many years. It is such fun to see the individuals & groups who were popular while I was growing up. Bowser is adamant that at least one member of the group must be an original. This was one of the best shows, great talent & great songs. Can't wait until next year!

This is about the 4th Bowser show I've seen through the years. The talent he brings is always excellent and in most cases sound every bit as good as they did in their prime. You will certainly get your money's worth if you go. Bowser does a great job interacting with the crowd and the show moves along at a good pace. If there's any downside it might be the overall length of the show. If you stay until the end you're looking at three hours minimum, including the intermission. The audience is an older crowd, as you'd expect, and this length might be tough on some seniors. Factor in the very narrow folding seats (in the lower arena anyway) and it's easy to start getting sore all over. If you've never been, try to go as many of these performers won't be around, or doing this much longer. Also consider bringing a seat cushion...

The show was great and Bowzer made it all happen. God help Doo Wop when Bowzer is watching down from heaven. There is no one else to carry on his work.

The performances were outstanding. Bowzer was spectacular. Every time I go to his shows, I am amazed how good they are.

Would have rated it higher but didn't appreciate political comments. Bowser spoiled it by interjecting his comments. Just host the concert, don't lecture.

Bowzer had a couple of groups with him that we hadn't seen before and it added to his show.. and to see Kenny Vance back on stage was a treat.. He introduced us to his son who he is bringing into his act.. He sounds a lot like Kenny and can hit all the high notes.. I hope Kenny' s health allows him to continue entertaining on stage for many more years to come.. If you enjoy oldies music, you can't go wrong with a Bowzer show

Have been going many years but this one was the best maybe because Kenny Vance was back and of course the Original Comets with an 83 yr old sax player and 94 yr old drummer! Only thing talking about politics should b avoided.

This was our favorite show in the 10+ years that we have been coming to see Bowzer!!

It was nice to see Dennis Tufano perform for the first time at your show. Also great to see Kenny Vance back with the Planotones, hving his son Ladd sing with them is a plus.

This show was awesome. All of the groups sounded great and it was so great to see Kenny Vance back and sounding so great. Brought back great memories.

Great acts lots of audience interaction dancing music wonderful show and excellent venue

We attended really not knowing what to expect - attending based on memories of a 1970's TV show.....and we had a great time! Bowser played the role of host to several guest musicians, Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon and Jay Selgal. Bowser himself sang a huge variety of music and his backup singers were AMAZING! A three hour show went by very quickly!

Great to see a lot of the DooWop groups from the 50's and 60's

Certainly not a "Fabulous '50's & Beyond" concert. Very few songs were actually from the '50's some even dated back to the 40's. Concert was drawn out for almost an hour by listening to music played by band while waiting for last performers "The Vogues" Performers did not even sing some of their most popular songs. Individual performers seem to be "going through the motions". Acoustics were extremely poor. Have attended performances at this venue in the past, with much better sound quality. Performances attended in the past included Fabulous '50 weekends, however I will not attend any future performances at this venue or with these performers. In fact, we are scheduled on a cruise in Feb 2016 called "Rockin the Caribbean" with this same group of performers...which I am cancelling. I traveled from Texas, as I have done in past years, for this weekend, never again.

Entire Bowzers 50s and beyond concert was great. All of the bands were awesome

Best concert ever! We had such an awesome time however the seats were way too close together. The seating was not very comfortable.

Fantastic! Groups were great. Bowzer was great! Chubby Checker was great! Can't wait to come to Wildwood next year. Since there were only a few restaurants open in Wildwood, recommend the Convention Center have food concessions available way before the show in the outside corridor.

excellent weekend except for the Oceanic Hotel sucked don't stay there

Great show. Great to see authentic performers. Browser has brought our memories back from the 50's with the real sounds of the day. A go-see for the generation of rock and rollers!

This was by far the best concert for the Fabulous 50's and Beyond concerts in Wildwood, N.J.. The artists were fantastic and totally interacted with the audience. Bowser is a great all around entertainer who is a tremendous showman. To see all the great talent that was presented, and to witness these original artists was truly worth any amount of money.

I went with my sisters and had a great time. We are actually planning to return next year but also doing the nite before dance party!

Great, Great Concert. One of the best I have been too and I have been going for the last 5 years. All the performers were true to form, did a great show, and made you remember a simpler time. Bowzer was fantastic as always as the host of the show. Can not say enough great things about the concert. All had original members of the original groups. Top hit songs performed just as I remembered in my youth. Great to see these wonderful performers again before they join the wonderful band up above. Brought back many fine memories for me. Can't wait till the next 50's concert next year.

As usual the show was very good. 5 acts including one with Bowzer and his group. The surprise appearance from Chubby Checker was amazing. Freddie Boom Boom Cannon, The Chiffons, Jay Siegel and the Tokens, etc. All were great.

I never imagined when i put the tickets for our uncle that we would actually enjoy this so much! How cool to see Chubby Checker, Jay Siegel singing the Lion Sleeps Tonight, the Chiffon's and so much more. My generation didn't grow up on these singers but we had a wonderful time while making our older relatives very happy!

Just got back from Bowzer's party in Wildwood NJ. What a blast! Not only were all the titled groups wonderful but we were treated with a surprise visit from Chubby Checker! The dance on Friday night was wonderful, the street fair on Saturday at the park was great and the music was unbelievable. Bowzer was wonderful and always throws a great party. I took my Mom this year and she was thrilled with it all. If you have not been to one of these events....It is a MUST !!!!

Great show. Loved the very touching tribute to Mom, by playing her favorite classical number. His voice is extraordinary! Wonder if opera was ever a consideration for him. Great seating: not a bad seat in the house. There were some people standing in the rear who were noisy and somewhat distracting. What were they doing there, anyway?!? Great voices of backups also.

I was just a little disappointed in this show After being a Bowser n Sha na na fan since the beginning I was expecting a little more music. While e1 was incredably talented I wasnt thrilled with the hoola hoop contests...it was too much of it 1st women then men then kids not what I expected nor wanted to see at a "concert" Sure it may have been fun for the people involved in it but for us.....boring :( Also wasnt thrilled with the Joe Cocker imitator act. Sorry but just wasnt a memorable night for us

Fantastic show! even my two boys 15 and 21 had a blast and want to see more shows like this. the oldies will never die with talents like bowzer
