Great seats! The KWings played well. A real bargain to enjoy hockey compared to the NHL games.

We saw a great hockey game that was in doubt until the final horn. There was a lot of entertainment for those of us that weren't huge hockey fans.

By far the dirtiest arena I've ever been in. There was garbage left over from a previous event underneath my seat. The amount of filth covering every inch of this place is frightening.

the seats were great the game was better it went to a 7 round shoot out....order your tickets through this early and you dont have to wait in line at all they just scan your ticket and your in.

Great game, lots of fun, $1 beers and hot dogs on Fridays!

The hockey game was exciting for my kids and they definitely had a good time.

We had a great time, wish we knew how to tell about birthdays that we were celebrating, had not been to a game in awhile and didn't know how to annouce that. We were sitting next to a little boy that was also celebrating his birhtday that weeked. They didn't know how to do that either, or how the kids got to go down on the ice and pick up pucks after the puck toss. Need more advertising for us NEWbee's!!! But had alot of fun, enjoyed the 1.00 hotdogs/beer.

I have been to hundreds of hockey games and no game that I've ever been to has matched the excitement and fun that I experienced at the Kalamazoo K-Wings game on Sunday. The players were so excited to be playing and really seemed to appreciate the crowd that was there cheering them on.

The K-Wings have an exciting new brand of hockey in the ECHL...everyone should check them out and root them on!

Season opener for the Kwings. It was a good show at the beginning. They did a nice job introducing the team and getting the puck rolling. Kwings were slow at first, but with an exciting finish!

Recently being at a game, we sat two rows off the center ice right behind the penalty boxes. The view was good and the big screen was easier to see than in my family room but the fans around us we less than considerate to others. They were families with young children (varying 6 to 10 years) and were not paying any attention to the game or their kids. Thus, the kids were a nuiscense, noisy, and would not stay in their seats. So, we had to move because we could not enjoy the game with all the commotion around us. Sadly, we gave up our expensive seats and set in ones that cost lees but we enjoyed the game much more!! Actually, where we sat there were also children that same ages but they WERE watching the game, as was their parents, and were very well behaved. So, I plame the parents for allowing such nonsense to occur and have no consideration for the people around them. By the way, the K-wings shutout the Cincinnati Cyclones 2-0 and that was great!

This is the first time that we have attended the K wings game for New Year's Eve. We usually attend a Komets game in Fort Wayne and they really know how to throw a party for new years eve. The hockey was also disappointing is the K wings were completely dominated by the Toledo cyclones. However the organization as a whole did a poor job creating a party atmosphere for the holiday.

I expected a larger crowd for the Wings' annual "Green Ice Game," but the fans were very loud & involved throughout the game. The Wings' mascot, Slappy, and their PA announcer combined to keep the home crowd energy high. First impressions of Wings Stadium can deceive, with its plain exterior & narrow concourses with low ceilings. The single-tiered seating area with plastic molded seats further indicate the age of the facility; but once the crowd & the music & the goal horn stirred things up, it became one of the most exciting minor pro hockey venues that my wife & I have had the pleasure to visit. They have a good variety of concession options, and small but well-stocked souvenir shopettes.

The kwings are one of the best minor league hockey teams in north america and the rivalry between these two teams is also one of the best in north america

The K-Wings ORANGE Ice Game, which is usually held the weekend before Halloween, is the BEST game of the year, as far as I'm concerned. In addition to recent facility improvements at K-Wings Stadium, such as a new scoreboard / jumbotron and new paint and refinished floor in the main concourse, the game includes the following special items: 1) All the staff is dressed in Halloween costumes. 2) Free trick-or-treating for the kids (regardless of whether they wear a costume). 3) The players wear unique one-time-only jerseys, which they auction off for charity after the game. (They tend to sell for between $200 and $800 each....but, hey, it's for charity!) 4) A costume contest for the fans... 5)...and, lastly, the ice is ORANGE!!! This is a great time for both kids and adults and is fairly budget-friendly.

Awesome seats, 5th row! All you can eat food for $10! 0-3 come back with OT and a shoot out. Well worth the $3 Wed night ticket price, eh!

The time and effort that was put into that night was well noted. I really appreciate what the staff at the Wings Event Center did to make ME feel welcomed. Bonus, you might ask, the Wings won! Go Wings! Get em in the playoffs.

If you enjoy hockey like my husband then this was a good night, the reason why it wasn't the great night because the advertisment was way better. we couldn't see the car that was there on display and the music was a little different that they played but not too much there wasn't much greatness to it it was actually a boring not nothing fun, now if we talk about the team players thats diferent. they played hard and they where great the reff didn't gave them a goal that i think they should get but they played very good. the promos stuff was bad!

Parking was good enter/exit, good time for family young or old. The home team is improving and with it an enlarged fan base.

This was one of the best nights of this season k-wings won 3-2 and played liked they wanted to be there. Good defence and better off fence. This was also a game where they payed attention to the audience not just the players but the workers. Slappy finally made it to the glass seationg section 23 row b seats 8-12 and said hello we don't normally see him unless he's on the ice. we can be the loudest but never receive any promos like the t-shirts or puckes but the coach saw the kids and said hi, think it was his b-day so he was in a good mood. That made the father happy to see our kids that happy after everything that happened, so we are coming tonight the 25th at the glass seatings section 25 row a seats 1&2 no kids this time afraid of it might be too loud tonight but he is excited to see what brings tonight. "LETS GO K-WINGS"

Had an enjoyable time attending 1st Kwings game but probably 30th event since 77'. Tight seating makes for personable game with fans and players on the ice.

As an avid hockey lover I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the K-Wing game. The fans were very robust and the team played fairly well. I'm looking forward to the next opportunity to attend a game!

The pink ice game was awesome havent been to a hockey game in awhile but I will be going to many more go kwings

Was a fun night! Plenty to choose from at concession stands! The game was great and the entertainment between periods kept the crowds going!

Took my family to the game and between the action on the ice and also in the stands (with Slappy and the fans), we all had a blast.

Great seats, exciting action, cheap beer, yummy dogs...who could ask for anything better? Can't wait to go again!

What a great stadium for hockey small homely feel! No bad seats in the whole area. I used to go to Ft. Wayne (I know booooo) but I didn't know any better. Yeah the coliseum is nice but doesn't have the true hockey feel that you get at Wings Stadium! Like I said no bad seats and a great price for great hockey! LOVE IT!

I took my son and 9 friends to the game for his 10th birthday. Great seats, they did a shout out and Slappy came to see us. We loved TMNT night too!!

The wings event center is a great place to see a hockey game. Not a bad seat in the house. Lots of good food and drink. Love the community involvement.

They were perfect seats. Could see everything! The K-Wings were not impressive this game, but overall it is an awesome sport to see live! Great seats, great game!

Took my friends kids to their very first hockey game and it was a great experience for everyone!!

Got excellent seats on day of game. Close to action with good viewing angles (between red and blue lines). Turned into an overtime game and ECHL has a 3 on 3 overtime which may be the most exciting single event in all of sports. Can't guarantee overtime, but hope for it if you go.

We were in attendance for the ECHL Hockey Heritage Throwback Game. We tried repeatedly but were unable to purchase ADA seating online or thru aTicketmaster center. At the event the arena staff did a great job assisting us and relocating our seats. Good game and overall a great event.

This was our first Wings game and we had an absolute great time! The service, fans and players were great! We sat in the front row and being that close to the action was so much fun, will go again!!

I'm used to going to see the Red Wings and thought this game would be slow and boring. But it wasn't and all 9 of us had a good time. The only way it would have been better if there was a fight!!

K-Wings won big and it is a very family friendly environment. Had a great time as always watching a hockey game.

I found the whole experience to be very juvenile and more for the five year olds. The mascot was a green like a big bird, and was totally amateurish and poorly done. Couldn't even skate. The events at the start and between periods was childish and silly. The best part between periods was watching the Zamboni. At an arena that seats about 5,000 people, there must have been 400 other brave people that came to game. The game itself was OK but there was little or no spirit and might have been played outside for the noise it generated when a goal was scored. It is minor league hockey and not the NHL. The concessions were way over priced similar to seeing the Red Wings at the Joe. For a burger, nuggets, and a couple pops, it was $25.00. I came with a 16 year old that had never seen a hockey game before. It is safe bet, that he will never go another game. My recommendation would be to save your money toward a Griffins or Red Wings game. which I go to several times a year.

Very good hockey game played by the K wings. It did go overtime, but the K wings went for the win.

The stadium upgrades were excellent, the new sound system was great,I liked the new lighting and scoreboard . The bands playing in the concourse were very good and I liked the upgrades to the food areas

Great games Friday and Saturday. Lots of Fort Wayne fans. Employees at the Stadium were the nicest thing. Great people and fun times!

Minor league hockey is some of the best value sports entertainment around, and games at Wings stadium are no exception. As is typical for Komets and K-WIngs games, there is no love lost between the two teams. Two players were given 5 minute fighting penalties at the 0:02 mark! There is a lot of family oriented entertainment to go along with the hockey, so there is something for everyone. One star was removed for the amazingly slow concession lines. These people are in absolutely no hurry to serve the customers. I left my seat at the immediate end of the first period to get some food and missed the first two minutes of the second period. There were about 15 people in line in front of me, so there was no reason to have taken that long. This is something that really needs to be worked on by Wings Stadium management.

Great game - seats were great. Parking was great and getting in and out of the venue was great!

The Green Ice game is always a good experience. My 4yr old loved his first game!

The K-Wings lost but the team honored a lot of breast cancer survivors so it was a special night.

Absolutely amazing! $3 beers. & $1 hotdogs!!! Action packed game!!! Money well spent!! The section we were in was full of fun energetic people which made this event 10x better!!! Would attend every game if I could!! Go KWings!!!

Fun Venue - Tons of interactive entertainment - Slappy the Big Green Chicken is Awesome!

Had a great time with my kids. The game was a good show and was exciting. The only complaint I have is that the tickets and food/drink prices are too high.

We had a great time at this event. Seats were awesome. The K-wings were on fire that night. Will do it again soon.

Purchased tickets for my daughter and her family. The boys, ages 5, 9 and 12 had an awesome time! Their first time at a hockey game and the 5 year old is hooked! He came home with 2 pucks and was thrilled!

This was an awesome game!!! Especially when the Cyclones scored in their own goal because the coach pulled the goalie to have an extra man on the ice. HA HA!!!

We had a nice time. Hockey was fun. Yes we won! That always helps make it a nice event. Seat prices were a bit high. Other than that we were happy.

We had seats down front by the glass. It was very exciting and fun to watch. My son even got a puck that flew over the glass and landed at his feet. Overall we had a blast and for a very reasonable price too!

The team did not play very well. They went from being up by one, to being down by 4. It's like they stopped trying at the end of the first period.

Shiny new arenas with all the bells and whistles are great, but it's also nice to find a classic venue with a true throwback feel. Wings Stadium is such a place. Any real hockey fan should have this one on the "must see" list.

The seats were good. Right where they were supposed to be. the game was awesome. I would recomend getting the real nachos, not the chips nad cheese.

We decided to go to the Wing's game on the same day and caught great seats. The game was fantastic with lots of action and some wow moments. The orange ice and costume contest added to the evening. More fun than we ever expected.

The K-Wings ended their season with a loss to Greenville, but it was certainly a game worth attending. See you next season!

It was the first hockey game that we had attended in years. It was very exciting and the winner was decided in the last few seconds. It doesn't get any better than that even though our team lost.

Planned a family night at Wings Stadium. Twelve adults and kids total enjoyed the game immensely. Too bad we lost in OT. Planning to attend the play-offs.

Pretty fun event to go to with the kids!!! It was actually a really good game, unfortunately the refs didn't do a good job!!!! My Daughter said a Dog could ref better!!! lol But it was still awesome!!!

Enjoyed the game but was disappointed in the "Best" seats available. We set in front row which is what I wanted but we set next to Toledo penalty box so when the teams were at the other end we couldn't see very well though the several pains of plastic. then I was next to the door leading to the penalty box going to the ice - people kept coming and going back and forth leaving the door open and it was really cold and annoying. Lines were very long to just purchase a bottle of water.

Kalamazoo knows how to put on a special event hockey game.

Watching the Pick Ice game is always fun. The goalie for KZoo, Martin, looked stronger in goal than Howard has all year for the Red Wings.

The hockey game was good, the surroundings, not so much. Dirty, seats were small, bathrooms yucky and the crowd was so-so. The kids at the event seem to be having a good time, but I'm not sure if I would take my child there only because of some of the language coming out of some of the drunk spectators. The mascot Slappy was great and the kids seem to enjoy it. All of the video board stuff seem to be distracting and took away from the actual game. We went with the intentions of watching a hockey game and was so distracted by the crowd and all the video stuff we didn't seem to watch much hockey, the hockey we did watch was great, could do with out all the extra hype though.

What a blast! The game was great, the atmosphere was perfect, the Ice was Pink for Valentines Day and we could not have had more fun.

Took my son to see the k-wings for his birthday. First time for both of us. We had a great time.

When I am supporting the visiting team, I except some heckling. The Kalamazoo fans took it way too far and ruined the experience for me (I had been to the arena before and had NEVER experienced the disrespect I did last Saturday) and my best friend who had never been before. We were called incredibly rude names, swore at, disrespected by the mascot and there was so much jeering and rude language around us that it was difficult to watch the action on the ice. I'm sure if you're there supporting the home team, the disrespect level is far less, but at the end of the day, we're all hockey fans and, regardless of our team affiliation, we should all be treated with kindness. My friend and I refused to make comments back at the fans surrounding us because we refused to sink to their level (no matter how difficult it was to bite our tongues), so please don't take this review as a sign of us asking to be disrespected. We were there to cheer on a friend and his team. We didn't boo the home team when they scored. We simply cheered for our team when they scored. It breaks my heart that I won't be able to see and support my team when they're close to home for me, but I refuse to pay as much as I did for those tickets (not that it's acceptable at any price level, but $72 is a bit much to be treated rudely for 2.5 hours) and be subjected to the disrespect that I experienced. I would strongly advice visiting fans to NOT travel to Kalamazoo to support your team. Other than that, the facility was nice and the bathrooms were clean. So if you're going to support the K-Wings, you'll probably have a decent time.

15 years ago we were season ticket holders, job transfers and life took us away from the Kwings. we moved back into town last year and seen a sign for kwings hockey, the wife and I decided to take in a game. Some thing never change, good hockey, good program, and even seen some old friends, Seeing Kip was fantastic, in about 5 minutes he had us up to speed and we were back in the old seats and enjoying the game and the improvements. The big screen is awesome, the people running the new Zamboni bar are a pleasure to visit. Just good clean fun. It was just NICE to come Home. Thanks for being there.
