Orange Crush Demolition Derby

First time to a Demolition Derby and We will be Back. Awesome show & a great crowd.

The addition of the figure 8 race prior to the Demolition Derby was a new and welcomed addition.

They gave the girl driver extra time to get her car moving, she should have been washed out at least twice for not moving in time, she should not have won. The paraplegic was by far the better driver and should have won. He did more damage to the other cars than anyone. I go to this event every year and this is by far the best one yet. Lots of cars...great drivers....everyone doing their best to crush the other guy right out of the gate.

The demolition derby is always fun, but it was a very short event. Only h two "races", totalling about an hour.

It is a very short event. Will last at most 40 minutes to an hour. It truly can get boring after awhile but still a fun event if you have never seen one. Bonus is there is a bar next to the arena. So grab a beer and watch the cars crash into each other. Honestly there is no bad seat in the place but I do highly recommend buying tickets vs doing standby because when you buy a ticket, you can arrive five minutes before the race. With standby, you need to be there at least an hour before.

My daughter and I were at the Fair and someone said to us I have these tickets to the demolition derby and we can't go, do you want them?...I was skeptical, and it was something I would have never thought of doing but we thanked him and went. We had a blast and now it is a tradition for the last 10 years...every year "Dad when are we going to the fair and demolition?" The mobile home one is also fun, as is the damsels. Highly recommend, especially if you think it's not for you.

This was my first Demolition Derby and at first I'll admit I wasn't sure I would like this sort of thing - but I did it for my husband. By the end of the show I was cheering and totally into it. Great showmanship and great show!

It was so much fun to watch. I haven't been to a demolition derby since I was a kid. It would make a great family outing. Especially for boys over the age of 5. The crowd was good natured and fun. Lots of cheering.

Event was kinda short, just as things start to get exciting, boom, it's over. But for $20 you get a ticket to the fair as well. Good deal, if you ask me!

The car demo derby was great on Wednesday, the show was a bit short relative to past years, but a great derby! The Motorhome derby on Sunday was fun, but the whole show from start to finish was only 44 minutes! What a disappointment that was!

The derby was great!! The Ochoa Bros were like the Malachi Bros from Happy Days! And a woman driver as Pinky Tuscadero! Crowd was great!

We loved watching this event!! It was our first Demolition Derby, we can't wait for next year, we will definitely purchase tickets!!

An hour and it was over. Also, as a Derby fan, I like the 2nd chance Derby, the fun of watching these guys get those cars running and get a 2nd chance after they were smashed the first time around. This Derby did not have a 2nd chance round. Mostly I was disappointed it went by so fast. Barely had time to finish my beer!

Always fun for my whole family. Just wish we could have seen more

Loved the Orange Crush Derby. Very cool, great audience participation. The organizers were good about managing admittance and helping you to your seats. Downside - at times the exhaust fumes get trapped under the awning, but that comes with the territory...

This is the second time that I have attended the demolition derby at the OC Fair and it didn't disappoint. The show was very entertaining and the pre event 20 lap figure 8 race is very exciting and entertaining as well. This is a can't miss event when the Fair returns next Summer.

SO much fun!!!!! For a first time Demo Derby-ist I can say with full confidence that my husband and I will definitely be going next year!! What a blast!!

Outstanding event. Brought two of my grandkids, that's all they could talk about. Great event, see you next year.

The event was just okay. Their were only 6 cars in the event and lasted all of 20 minutes. I would have thought / hoped for more heats. I have been to other demolition derbies (outside of California) and I guess this is just the watered down version for OC.

got me an 11 friends involved and bought tickets and the show was 20 minutes long what a waste of time! we buy tickets every year but I'm not sure we'll go next year.

My family and I always go to the oc fair for the demolition derby. Its always a good time! Except for this time. There were only 7 cars out there and 2 of them were on the same team basically. Usually there's at least 10 cars or so out there. The derby ended quickly too. Oh well.

Lots of fun. Wish it were a longer event with more cars but overall a great time

I've been going for 6 years. This year was really sad to see. There were 7 total cars (good). 3 were on the same team and didnt hit eachother at all. Even at the end when they were the last ones they barely hit eachother. The end was 2 of 3 giving up to let there friend win. Everyone boooo'd

I haven't seen a demolition derby since I was a kid so I was looking forward to this. It didn't disappoint. It was fun and exciting and I am looking forward to next year's event. This time we will get tickets for the RV Demolition Derby. Worth the price since it included fair admission, so it was only $9.00 for having reserved seats. Much better that trying to get a seat in the General Admission sections.
