Excellent show and Excellent venue! The sound was awesome, Spaceman and his two female backup singers were clicking all night! Excellent band musicians! I travelled from Los Angeles to San Francisco to see this band in this venue, and I would do so again at the drop of a hat!

Why was this marketed as spiritualized playing Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space all the way through?

An incredible recreation of a classic album. 90 minutes of otherworldy music cementing the timelessness of the music. One can only hope for a live DVD/CD!

Spiritualized were incredible! Anyone who knows the album Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space, would have rushed to buy tickets to this entire performance of this seminal album. The band had a full Orrchestra, Gospel Choir and an incredible light show. The sound was electric!

This show at times was truly amazing. There were moments the chorus sounded wonderful and the horn section really added the punch to the performance. Yes ... a string section was on stage too but damn if I could hear a single note they played for most of the show. What could have been a great show but was pretty much ruined by the over bearing bass pumping from the bass guitar drowning out he entire ensemble. You would have thought the sound tech would have picked this up by time they played their 3rd song but no ... all we could hear was boom boom boom .. to the point where it became silly. At about the halfway point thru the performance about 20 or more people in my section got up and left. I stayed and hoped it would improve, unfortunately, it got worse as the band played on. Nearing the shows end the band played (what felt like) 10 minute endings , when the whole thing became unlistenable and all we could do was laugh at the silliness of it all. Dynamics! It's not what you play but what you don't play!! The sound over all was one of the worse I'd ever experienced. and.......Da Bass ........ was truly a comedy.

What a great show this was. One of the best I've been to. Not only was the venue nice and seating was good, but it sounded perfect. This is how spiritualized is supposed to be heard. The levels of everything were perfect, you could hear everyone in the choir and orchestra, without drowning out anyone else. The band sounded amazing, truly the way to listen to this band.

Choir, orchestra, Spiritualized, Floating In Space, full encore, "Oh Happy Day", Radio City Music Hall New York's classiest venue - this concert was unbelievably amazing beyond all great expectations. It's at the top of my list of greatest concerts of my lifetime.

Amazing. Every time I see Spiritualized in concert, I realize how suitable the name is for Jason Pierce. They almost blew the house down last night. Out of Sight and Oh Happy Day were deeply emotional and the choir, horn and violin sections were great.

That's about as "elegant" an indie rock event can be. Really spectacular acoustics and audio quality. Really glad I went

We were on the 1st Mez 1st row and the sound was awful. The bass was overpowered and ruined over half the show. The overall sound levels were deafening and also added to the negative experience. I have been a dedicated fan since the Spacemen 3 days and really was excited for this unique experience. Too bad Jason Pierce's egotistical showmanship and the sound mixing sucked.

Some good, some bad. Overall lacked some energy. The mix was not all that good either but Radio City always makes for a good night.

I have seen Spiritualized multiple times since its inception, from a tiny little club in England (The Warehouse in Derby) through much larger shows at the height of the LAGWAFIP period. But I have not seen them for many years and this show did not disappoint. Filled with all the songs you want to hear from the back catalogue. I missed the horn section (this was a mini tour I guess and only so many people you can bring with you!) and there were issues at the mixing desk (drums FAR too loud at the SF show and the Bass go muddy at times). But Jason's voice was strong and the band felt tight. Highly recommend.

Jason performed well particularly given his health challenges. Whole band played spectacularly to create sonic sound scapes.

I did three things at this concert that I have never done in the hundreds of shows I've been to over the years. 1. Almost Cry (Stay with me). 2. Have my hand up as if I'm at church waving it to and fro like I have the holy spirit (Happy Day). 3. Felt satisfied for days and felt released like some amazing therapy breakthrough session. THank you Spaceman and everyone who did the outstanding light and music for the night!!!

Amazing venue and music. Lights were overdone, blinding and took away from the experience. Five stars if lights were toned down.

When it all ended, I quickly came to realize that Spirtiualized live with orchestra and choir accompaniment was probably one of the most professional and mindblowing concerts I've ever seen. I've been to a lot of shows, but nothing like this. Not to mention their most acclaimed album was played in its entirety. Jason Pierce (Spaceman) is just a good live as he is on the albums. And the band blew me away. The lights and stage presence were overwhelming in the best way. Go see them!

Excellent sound and performance. In comparing this to the last time Spiritualized was in town at Radio City Music Hall, the biggest difference was the venue choice. During the slower and mid-tempo songs, general admission (standing) was definitely not as good as chilling back in comfort in seats. Also Radio City while it sells booze, does not seem like a club atmosphere and so the fans don't get as blasted and chat over the band nearly as much. There were some chatty drunk girls near me that definitely detracted from the show, talking through classics like "Think I'm In Love." Most Spiritualized fans are not nearly that casual, and at Radio City there was an atmosphere of respectful attention to the amazing show the band put on. Although the band was a little smaller this time out, less gospely backup singers, it was still large enough to cover all the sonic details. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is the venue's effect on my experience. Been to Webster many many times and I'm not hating on the venue, though it was a little hot on the floor. It's just that Radio City is far far superior.

As usual, Spiritualized layed it down though I wish it was a bit louder. Seemed subdued at times. I would argue that I've seen a more transcendent Spiritualized, they still showed what it was all about: Heartbreak, redemption and triumph.

My best friend and I had been waiting for about six years to see J. Spaceman & Spiritualized live and it was well worth it. We had a fantastic time, and, apparently, so did everyone else; I got the distinct impression a lot of people had been looking forward to this show as much as the pair of us.

It's a different show every time I see J Spaceman Pierce on tour. He looked healthy for having been near death not once but twice the last 5 years. The hall accoustics at the Wiltern made the event the most memorable of all 8 or 9 times I've seen Spiritualized live. The set list was super. As you'd expect, it leans heavily on the new album but that's OK. All time favorite were shunned but for other old tunes. The finale was Cop Shoot Cop which was the one song I wished to hear live. The 2008 tour never featured it, although the previous tour did.

Spiritualized is one of the best bands on earth (or in space). Awesome live show with great tunes. I've seen them many times since the mid 90s and they get better each time I see them. J. Spaceman is not your typical rock star. He will not scream "hello Cleveland" or engage in theatrics or banter, but he will play straight up psychedelic narco gospel space blues that will blow your mind. Slow sweet jams will descend into chaotic freakouts then snap back into fuzzed out rock and roll. Be careful on your dosage before the show, however.

I saw Spiritualized in 2001 and only remembered because I had bought a t-shirt. It wasn't a memorable nor exciting concert. However this truely blew me away. The acoustics were phenomenonal, the tempo and the bass were perfect and every song was an absolute hit. Never been to Radio City before but I feel like this was extra special particularly as it was the last time they will play the album in full

If I could, I would have rated this beyond 5 stars. By far the best concert that I have ever attended; by far the best Spiritualized concert ever attended (probably went to around a dozen). LGWFIS was a terrific and critically acclaimed album. This should go down in the books as one of the best concerts ever performed by any artist. It was truly a magical evening with Jason and Spiritualized. If you didn't have tears at times in your eyes you weren't human. Amazing, pure musical genius - absolute perfection. Will be hard to top but I have full faith that Jason Spacement will find somehow to top this.

Great band, great concept, but the wall-of-sound that characterizes portions of "Ladies and Gentlemen we are Floating in Space" translated in to 5+ minutes of straight noise when performed live.

With a 6 piece horn section, gospel choir & violin section, Spiritualized recreated their album "Ladies & Gentlemen......" in a stunning way. Although the sound was muddy at times, this was a concert not to forget.. The first two songs were resplendent in their glory. The effect of seeing/hearing these openers was simply stunning. Also, "Cop. Shoot, Cop" built to a resounding conclusion of noise, power, and pure rock bliss. Finishing up with the gospel song, "Oh Happy Day" was a fitting closer.
