This show was so entertaining from beginning to end. Patrick Murphy is a great story teller. This concert was a Christmas gift to my mother-in-law and she loved every minute of it. The band is full of very talented musicians with lots of energy. We especially loved the fiddle player Katie, she was awesome. We have become Gaelic Storm fans for life!

It was an energy filled evening right from the start. They made for a fun evening - having audience participation as part of the show. I am no longer a Gaelic Storm Virgin - I wonder what took so long to find this amazing group of musicians!

As always, they were awesome performing live!! My husband and I have seen them at least 10 times now, and they are always outstanding. We brought a couple that came with us for the 1st time to see them last year, as well as our neighbors who had never seen them before, and all 6 of us walked away very pleased with the concert! As my 95-year-old,100% Irish Grandma told me before the concert last night, rub your 8-months pregnant belly and tell the baby to enjoy the Irish music!!!! My husband and I were thrilled when Gaelic Storm ended with, "Kiss Me, I'm Irish," as that song always reminds us of my beloved grandmother. I think I felt our baby girl doing an Irish jig! ;-)

What fun. We saw them on St. Patrick's Day at House of Blues in Chicago and now at the Minnesota Zoo. Very cool venue. Pretty much the same show. Tons of fun, great leadership from Patrck Murphy and well worth the cost of the hangover.

Gaelic Storm was a really fun and lively concert. Enjoyed every minute of it. The weather was perfect as well. The only downside was that with all of the service fees, I paid $85 for tickets which turned out to be "obstructed view" seats in the second row on the far side of the auditorium. Although we had some speakers blocking most of our view, we were able to see most of the band performing. However, after about 15 minutes into the show, a dozen people decided to come down from the stands and proceed to stand right in front of us, so "they" could get a better view! I asked security about this and they said they could do nothing about it. Isn't that what security it for!

Once again, Gaelic Storm puts on another great performance. Murphy, as always, is a great entertainer and really gets the crowd going. The only complaint is that they started 45 minutes late. Otherwise, there wasn't a bad moment in the show.

Gaelic Storm is one of my five favorite bands and I catch them whenever I can. They play Irish/Celtic music complete with pipes, fiddle, accordion, funny stories and beery lyrics. The humor is sort of a centerpiece but the musical virtuosity of the band is not to be overlooked. If you never thought that bagpipes and fiddle could rock you haven't seen Gaelic Storm. Last night's show was interesting because of the five times I've seen them, this was the first time I've seen them have to deal with technical problems and sound issues. Despite these minor annoyances and a sleepy week night crowd they reached down deep, put on a really excellent show and won the place over. I love these guys! These guys deserve a larger national following but I'd hate to have to see them in a bigger arena.

Listening to live music is generally always a good time, but going to a GS concert makes it a sure thing! Although it's my hometown, I'd never been to a show at The Intersection, but it was a great venue to let yourself go with a band of great musicians that tour and tour and give their old and new fans somethings to dance and smile about every set they play. The people I brought to this concert became new fans of the Band who play their you know what's off for you and then make themself accessible after the concert. Thanks GS...!

It really was an awesome concert. I went with my friend who did not listen to them and had no idea what to expect, and she loved it. They often told the stories behind the songs, which hard to believe it, can actually be more amusing than the songs themselves! It was a smaller venue, so you are close to the stage, people were dancing and cheering. Oh, and toasting with the band mid concert was a blast. I never in my life thought I would see a fiddle played like that, but she is amazing! I could not believe it when it came to her parts, it blew my mind! Hearing it on a CD is one thing, but actually watching them play live is quite another all together. I cannot picture anyone not having a blast at a Gaelic Storm performance, and all I can say is that if they ever come anywhere near here again, I am going!

Gaelic Storm has an energy that even the most casual observer cannot resist. Each member of the group individually, is an accomplished musician in their own right. But together they are among the best Irish / Folk music groups performing today. So if you get the chance to see them, don't miss the opprotunity. You will have a great time for sure!

Gaelic Storm hit the stage with a resounding instrumental and then followed with over 2 hours of laughing, dancing, drinking and singing. They are perfectly suited for the smaller venues where audience participation and interaction can add to the show. Their musical skills in concert are only rivaled by their ability to invite the audience into their world with light hearted stories and lyrical brilliance.

Second time I say Gaelic Storm. I actually bought tickets to see them the first time without having listened to them before. They were amazing and just as good the second time. Its like a concert and comedy show in one. I had a blast. Both times I brought people who hadn't heard them before and they both loved the show. Its a guaranteed good time. This most recent show was even better because we sat at the same table as Pat Murphy's (the lead singer) sister and nan. His sister was awesome fun and his nan adorable. We loved the experience.

If you want to have a lot of fun, hear great original Celtic tunes played by exceptional musicians, this is an act you have to catch. Most of the concert attendees are loyal fans that have seen the band multiple times and know the various ways to interract and participate for a given song. (It says a lot when bands earn this kind of fierce loyalty.) Still, even if you're a perspective GS virgin that is considering seeing them for the first time, rest assured you'll feel at home in no time! Prediction: If you attend, when they come back in town at some later time, you'll do your best to be there.

I was interested to see what Gaelic Storm would sound like since Jessie left to have her baby and Kiara came in to replace her on the fiddle. Though she is clearly new and still working out her rapport with the audience, her playing was near flawless and the band sounded as wonderful as ever. The guys did a phenomenal job and kept the show remarkably high-energy in spite of the fact that they could not see the audience for most of it, due to the stage lights being turned up so high. (It's hard to play to a crowd when you can't see more than a foot or two past the end of the stage.) Things definitely cranked up a notch when Patrick finally asked the venue to turn the stage lights down a bit so they could see better, and GS finished out their set on a high note. All in all it was a wonderful show, and it was a real treat to see them perform. After, the band stuck around to talk to the crowd and anyone who wanted an autograph was able to get one. They are a very laid back bunch and a lot of fun to talk to -- just an all-around great group of people that are always a pleasure to see.

What's not to like? Have seen GS numerous times and places (Birchmere, Chicago, Milwaukee, Annapolis, Bethesda, Hagerstown, MD, New York City) and we obviously can't get enough! Our definition of a good time = full house + Guinness + Gaelic Storm with its non-stop energy, humor, and great music with range and versatility (instrumentals to events in life to history, stories, etc.) delivered by versatile and accomplished musicians who make you want to come back for more. I mean, who doesn't have a friend with "Alligator Arms"? We liked Kiana and wish Jessie well. Don't know if its permanent or temporary but both accord themselves well in performances we've attended (1st one for Kiana, could be a keeper). Have a request --> please add "DAMN GOOD DOG" to regular playlist. Can't be alone in this sentiment. Every time hear this song (and, yes, we're losers, we have all of GS's albums) and the line "...just one more day", think of our 4-year black Pug (Sonny -- see below; we're from Maryland, so "Fear The Pug!"), emotion just washes over you. Love the song, its our favorite. Can't be just us!

Look, for Irish fun and frolic you simply can't beat these guys! They just came on and captivated for like 3 1/2 hours straight. The cute girl fiddler just plays it right awesome - and gets down continuously the whole time - you'd think her arm would fall off at some point - but she just keeps bringing it. All the band are quite funny, engage the audience, and so talented that they make it look easy. I think they are having as much fun as it seems they are. And the audience, well, forget it. They were clapping along or banging on anything they could find. The whole place was shaking. If they come back into town I'll for sure be at the show. Worth the time money and effort for sure!

The band are a likeable bunch with some great audience interactions. They could do with investing in some better sound equipment, this would help understanding some of the words to there songs and would also help to hear the individual instruments more clearly, and avoid the equipment malfunctions that happened. But a great night of amusing and rousing songs.

After listening to some of their songs at home, my daughter mentioned how she would like to see them live. Since there was no opening band, they played two sets rather than their usual one. They played a nice mix of old and new material and was surprised by the number of people in the audience (myself included) that were hearing them for the first time. Between songs Patrick Murphy entertained the crowd with some interesting stories, including one where he punched Russell Crowe. Everybody was having a good time and several people in the audience provided drinks for the band. Some couples were dancing and singing along to the songs. As an encore, Patrick, Steve and Jessie moved from the stage to the bar to paly the last couple of songs! If you like Irish ditties, you need to check out Gaelic Storm.

The Stanley was a great place to see them live--you feel so close to them! If you're thinking of seeing them ever, just hit the button and get those tickets!!! You will not regret it!!!

Gaelic Storm always are fun in concert. Lots of energy, jokes, dancing and lively music. They consistently are crowd pleasers. The theatre was only half sold but the band played as if the room was full, two sets and an encore. A very down to earth band after the show they always meet people, chat and sign autographs. If you like Irish pop catch them live, you won't be disappointed.

First time to a Gaelic Storm show and it was great. Everything I hoped for. The venue was great, with fantastic acoustics and accommodations for the guests, which enhanced the viewing. Overall, an amazing night.

I have been a fan for about 15 years. Adore them. They are here every January but never liked venues they were playing at. Was thrilled they were going to be at Parker Playhouse. Outstanding songs, musicians, performers. Hilarious. Kind and humble. Will never miss them again and already told my aunt and uncle I am buying tickets next time and they are going and it is non negotiable. They have no idea who they are but they are Irish (like me) and must experience them. My grandparents (God Bless them) would think they had died and gone to heaven long before they did had they known them.

Gaelic Storm was upbeat, funny, and engaging as a group. The music kept the entire audience on their feet and clapping to the music. This is a band I would see again and again! particularly in the small venue where the experience is so personal.

Show was great, up to the "encore". It was frustrating to just hear snippets of a song and then the stopped playing. I would have preferred to hear 3 complete songs and not numerous sound bites.

I have been to a lot of excellent performances in my ummm...many.. years. This was not a 'concert' it was a FEAST! Probably the best I have ever been privileged to be at. The 'Gang' absolutely shared the stage. Mr Murphy is an incredible talent but so was the Drummer, the Piper, the Fiddle player and 'old' Steve on guitar. From the exquisite quality of the vocals to the guys on sound and lights the show was flawless.

What an interesting experience. This was the 1st time I saw this group but I could tell most of the audience were followers of them. They sang along with the songs. They started chanting a song and the group did not sing the next song they were preparing to sing. They sang the song the audience were chanting. It was fun. Too bad we could not have given them some warm Florida sunshine while they were down here.
