This was my & my 6 year old's first ever foot ball game. The seats were better than expected and the cheer leaders were very sweet to her as she was shy and they let her shake a pom pom. Tail gating was great and they gave our free mini stress foot balls and t-shirts (XL). Only 2 complaints, one not enough ushers so we had trouble finding our seats as the stair well for ours was blocked off. 2nd we paid $13 for a Argo's tub of popcorn and was not informed we could re-fill it for free. There was no signs for that or any prices listed for the snacks. But it was great and I would for sure buy tickets again.

Go in with head up, knowing what to expect. This isn't a Blue Jays game. Leave your politeness and manners at home. Rude and crude. And that's OK because it's the CFL, it's expected that the crowd would be at that level. Aside from that, it's a great experience! Good football, good replays, great seats. At the GO station later, security had to keep calming down a bunch of rowdies who had been allowed to purchase too much liquid refreshment. Worked out well - the rumour was that they got ushered off the train at one of the lesser stops.

Great fundraiser for NSD and it was great to get back to a football game. We had seasons tickets but had to give them up. I hope the team picks up next year and the quality of their play improves.

$10 beers, cut off before 3rd quarter despite what the sign said as they were already closed. Couldn't walk around the center to meet friend as it was sectioned off and had to walk long way around. Have to say the Rogers Center is just getting less and less fun each time, there is no atmosphere in Toronto, let's face it. Oh the Leafs? $100 tickets to sit with suits with their backs to the glass, comeon, I truly hate this city.

Great CFL defensive battle. Bishop gets his revenge on his return to Toronto marching Winnipeg to a touchdown on the first drive. Dissapointing effort on Toronto's part, turnovers killed them. But for a timecount violation they actually would have won the game in the last minute.

Went to the Argo game on August 1/09. Overall, the game was terrible, the score of 13 - 12 for Winnipeg, was a reflection of the game. Argos turned the ball over 7 times, several on the goal-line and suffered a time-clock violation in the last minute to erase the winning field goal. However, there is optimism that they still have a chance to make the playoffs this year.

The team is not playing well, but as a loyal fan, I took a first-time CFL fan to the game. The new stadiums great for football, our seats were inside the 50 yard line and we were seated with pleasant, friendly people, even if some were rooting for the Roughriders. The access to the stadium was a bit slow, but once inside, there were plenty of concessions stands for food and souvenirs, and the vendors were pleasant and helpful. The rest rooms were clean and spacious, too. It made for a enjoyable afternoon. My friend left with a serious interest in learning more about the CFL and has already declared that he wants to do this again next year. I think that says it all.

I am not a CFL fan or football watcher but the experience was great. The stadium is fantastic and for people visiting the city its a great way to see another part of Toronto. The energy was really good and things like the drummers, a brass band and lots of activities during the game made it really fun. (the amazing weather was an added bonus)

Dear Argos/CFL, Please never ever under any circumstances shall you ever, ever (did I say ever yet?) play a "home" game in the Hammer. Next time you relocate a game from The Rogers Centre, find a nice cow pasture and paint some lines on it, set up some lawn chairs and you'll have a better atmosphere. Brutal... Thanks Hugh

Our seats were too close to the field but thankfully it was not packed so we could move to higher location with a better view. Also, we were on the Argos side but in the blazing sun at 4pm so moving involved going to the other side of the stadium to the shade. The staff were very accommodating in that regard which was excellent! The game was great to watch, we had never been before and plan on going again this season if time allows. The corridors from union station to the stadium are covered which would be amazing in bad weather. One thing I noticed was a need for a moving sidewalk like in airports. Many older or disabled folks would benefit greatly. It was hard to watch an older gentleman struggling along. As you can imagine everything for sale inside the stadium is dear. Be prepared. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and wish we could go more often

I was fortunate to get section 213 in the mezzanine and enjoyed the football game from the 50 yard line, sitting with Argos season ticket holders. My son-in-law saw his first CFL game from a terrific vantage point, and although the Argos had a tough night and the game lacked the usual big plays from both teams, we had a good time. The concession and souvenir stands were very nice and well-stocked, the rest rooms were immaculate as usual, and we enjoyed watching the Argonotes band entertain us, both pre- and post-game. I love attending CFL games at the old Skydome and wish I could travel there more often.

I have always wanted to go to a CFL event to take in the atmosphere, view a game, etc. in August I went to watch Toronto vs Edmonton at the Rogers Centre. The game was really good and it was cool to watch the differences in Canadian football and US football. The stadium was pretty empty and the fans that were there were interested just not as "in to it" as fans in the States. I would compare the CFL to Division II as far as atmosphere and fan energy. The play is really good and just a step slower than the NFL but the atmosphere doesn't compare to the NFL or even Division I college football. The food is below average and overpriced and the timeout, half time events are hokey. Glad I went and will continue to watch the CFL on TV but probably won't attend another live event.

I saw an exciting, well-played football game.It is disappointing that a championship team like the Argos can't draw more fans in a metro area of nearly 4 million people, especially since this is a uniquely Canadian sport, with a long & rich history. Yes, the tickets are expensive, but even the cheaper seats weren't full. The CFL really needs to do a better job of drawing fans to the field.

I was pleasantly surprised by my first CFL experience. Big follower of NFL but never been to a live CFL game so took the opportunity. Despite differences in the game I had a great time. The home fans definitely added to the atmosphere. Toronto Argonauts are worth checking out - Good luck in the Grey Cup Final!

Team lacked any energy, and there wasn't much added beyond the game experience. On top of that, I had to deal with the blasting sound of vuvuzelas in my ears from a group of kids behind me that were encouraged by their parents to keep up the awful noise. It is one thing to cheer on the team, it is another to continue to make those noises with horns that have been banned at other sporting events (notably all of the NFL). I had ringing in my ears late into the night. Security had no interest in tempering the use of these awful horns.

I've been to > 100 NFL games (I had season tickets for three years) and I have been to at least 2 NFL games every season for the past 25 seasons. CFL football is not NFL football. It is watchable and fun. The rules - particularly the legal forward motion by receivers before the snap are interesting. I will go to another CFL game when I am in the area.

Great seats and a good venue. The problem was the product on the field. after taking a 3 nothing lead early the Argos lost 30 to 3. They will need to solve the QB issue. Bring on Casey Printers?

Being from Chicago, I was curious to see the Canadian brand of football. I bought the cheapest seats available and was still right on the field. My wife and I had a good time. I'm glad I went. GO BEARSSSSS

The seats were great for this game, but the will call line-up was unbelievably long and very poorly organized. It should be obvious when there are going to be a lot of people lining up for tickets that there needs to be more staff available to handle the rush. I missed a lot of the first quarter of play because of the delay.
