Last stop on the tour.. and it was a blast. From the road crew donning masks and banging more cowbell then crowd surfing, to the audience having our picture taken by the guys (told us all to flex with both arms), to Northcote joining in for a riotous non-encore ("We are trying a new thing where we just go straight into the encore, instead of wasting ten minutes back there when we could be out here...) Brian was fully engaged with the crowd, exchanging banter and stories. One of my top ten of all time...

The Gaslight Anthem put on the best concert I have ever seen!!! I highly recommend them to all music fans. Their live performance was truly amazing, and even though I went in with high hopes, I was still blown away. The venue was decent, though the acoustics in State AE could use improvement.

So the concert itself started pretty much right on time. The bands were amazing especially Jimmy Eat World. Loved the fact it was all outdoors which made the pit even better. Plus even with them missing a drummer The Gaslight Anthem managed to work everything out to still put on an amazing show. The bands were amazing, the venue was nice, and it wasn't too bad of a commute.

3 opening bands I never heard of, AWESOME! Brian Fallon handling fights, GENIUS! Gaslight Anthem, EPIC! Going into the concert I just wanted to hear Gaslight because I heard they put on a great show, and I was anxious to see if the word of mouth was true and it was that.....and MORE! But I didn't expect the 3 opening bands to sound as good as they did. Gaslight picked 3 awesome bands with 3 different sounds and deserve a round of applause for their performance. A fight broke out during the concert and Fallon handled it well by stopping the song and splitting up the drama and then starting the song from the top. The set list what everything I expected with a surprise cover of a Pearl Jam tune. Highly recommended band to see.

Gaslight Anthem was great! The other two were not that great...Murder By Death was dark and depressing. Loved ones were good but could have been better. I would have recommended this if not for Murder By Death.

The whole thing was awesome!! I really liked the venue that the concert was held at, and I really liked the bands. Gaslight Anthem is my favorite band and they did not disappoint. The Loved Ones and Murder by Death were way cool, and I have found some new music to listen to! Overall it was an awesome show!!

At Omaha's Sokol Underground this past Friday, The Gaslight Anthem played a show, backed by Murder By Death, The Loved Ones, and Ninja Gun. The night started out with Ninja Gun, a band with which I had little experience, but nonetheless enjoyed. A few sources previously described them to me as straightforward pop-punk (and with a name like Ninja Gun, that's to be expected), but I was pleasantly surprised to find out they were more than that. I only heard the second half of their set, but they covered "20th Century Boy" by T. Rex, which was enough for me. This was the last day for them on the tour. Then came The Loved Ones whom I was most excited for. Having already seen The Gaslight Anthem, The Loved Ones really sold my ticket (though at Sokol's incredibly reasonable prices, it didn't take much). They pounded through their set with the same ferocity as their albums, but still maintaining creativity, making sure the songs didn't sound so identical that they could have been played straight off a CD. The set list was crafted perfectly: almost half and half from "Keep Your Heart" and "Build and Burn," with only one song off "Distractions." I would have liked to see them play "Chicken" off their first EP, but I knew that was a long shot at best. They had an interesting way of dedicating songs (or providing other banter) in mid-song, usually after the last chorus, halting the song to do so, and then came roaring back in. Very interesting choice. They mentioned, on one occasion, our distinct pleasure of living in Omaha, a city that bore "one of the greatest songwriters of our generation," promptly launching into a cover of Conor Oberst's "I Don't Want to Die (In a Hospital)." Well played, The Loved Ones, well played. The only disappointment was David Walsh's guitar playing; it wasn't really that bad, but it just wasn't quite up to snuff. One of my favorite moments in their songs is the last verse of "Jane," with the line "I've got this guitar and I've learned how to play," followed cleverly by a cool little riff; although the line was changed live to "I've got this guitar; Dave can play," a nod to the adding of Walsh as a second guitar since "Jane" was written, no cool riff was there. Maybe it was just poor sound or a poorly chosen guitar effect, but there was just nothing. But, other than that little bump, a great show. Next up was Murder By Death, a band I had frantically been trying to reacquaint myself with upon buying my ticket weeks before. It had been years since I heard their first album "Like the Excorcist... But More Breakdancing." Unable to find that, I bought their two most recent albums "In Bocca al Lupo" and "Red of Tooth and Claw." They played a solid set, albeit one that focused heavily on "Red of Tooth and Claw." They did play a few earlier songs, most notably "Brother," the single off their last album. Surprisingly, they didn't play "Fuego!," which I thought was a single from "Red of Tooth and Claw" (at least they named the EP following that album by that title...), but it didn't bother me much. Their sound is definitely better live than recorded. Songs that would be otherwise forgettable on the album were now just as good as the others. Unfortunately, the vocals were not adjusted much and, since Adam Turla sings in a deep baritone, his voice was sometimes muffled and the lyrics therefore unintelligible. Sokol dropped the ball there. Additionally, a couple of my friends nitpicked at their stage presence, taking notes for the show they were playing at Sokol the following night. I might not have noticed otherwise, but they mentioned none of them, except occasionally the drummer, ever smiled, which can be offputting to the audience. Perhaps I had just been focusing more on Adam Turla's wicked muttonchops or how beautiful cellist Sarah Balliet is, but they were right. Murder By Death is kind of a somber band, so I thought it worked for their image, but admittedly, it was a tad awkward when bassist Matt Armstrong tried to incite audience clap-alongs with such a serious face. Nonetheless, the fun for Murder By Death is in the music, not in giddy performance, so no detail like that could stop it from being a great show. Finally, The Gaslight Anthem. I had seen them before, a month earlier at Lollapalooza in Chicago, but decided then that they'd be better in a small venue (and not in the pouring rain). Sure enough, when you don't have three hundred deary, unenthusiastic people in front of you simply enduring Gaslight to get to another band, the show gets that much better. In a venue as small as Sokol, with The Gaslight Anthem headlining, the whole place is pretty much "up front," where everyone's happy, jumping around, and singing along. Starting with "High Lonesome," ending on "The Backseat," They played all of "The '59 Sound," but also through in "We Came to Dance" off their previous album "Sink or Swim," as well as a Pearl Jam cover (one I didn't recognize). Perhaps the most memorable moment of the evening came during "Miles Davis and the Cool," when about halfway through, a fight broke out close to the stage. There was a pole and several people keeping from seeing what happened, but as security rushed over to deal with it, Brian Fallon stopped the band and addressed the issue. He silenced the crowd and proposed that the four people involved split up into groups of two and move to opposite sides of the stage; upon being called out by one of them, he retorted, "All right, buddy. I've got a gold tooth and nothing to lose." Upon reaching a resolution, the audience broke into applause. I was genuinely impressed by Brian's problem-solving skills; other musicians would have ignored it and kept playing, hoping to play their set and move on, but not this band. They honestly cared about what's going on at their shows and are willing to go the extra mile. I felt bad for them, thinking this would taint their opinion of the show, or even our city (they had only been here once before, as Brian later recalled), but they continued on, playing with the same energy as before, cracking jokes in between songs, telling stories of previous shows with Against Me! and Thrice, as well as the current show with Ninja Gun ("Great guys... Short, too. Fit in all kinds of places... Had 'em in a freezer last Tuesday"). At the show's end, I joined a contingent of people cheering for an encore not with the usual "One more song, one more song," but with the bridge from "We're Getting a Divorce, You Keep the Diner." The band came out, announcing that this tour was their last before their next album, set for June 2010 and that they were trying to play a few more older songs because of that. They launched into "Blue Jeans and White T-Shirts." Though enjoyable, I wanted something a little more energetic to end on, but trusted them to do so. Sure enough, they played "We're Getting a Divorce, You Keep the Diner," claiming not to have done so for about two years. Unbelievable. Three great bands and one I really should look into more... A show, without a doubt, filled to the brim with awesome.

This was one of the worst concerts of our lives. We actually walked out early. The acoustics were terrible. The mixer needed to be adjusted. The lead singers' voices were muffled throughout the performances. We tried walking to other places thinking our seats were the problem but that didn't help at all. I actually left a message with the manager that I wanted my money back! Let's see if I get it. The performances themselves seemed to be good but as we felt like the lead singers' voices were so muffled, we really couldn't be sure!!!

I go to alot of concerts, but Gaslight has left me wanting more. I will definitely go to every Gaslght show near me!! I love their music!! The show was incredible, the fans sang every song and the band was awesome!! I like STAGE AE, the show was supposed to be outside, but the tour decided to play inside, I'm guessing because there where storm warnings predicted, made it much better, the inside is small and more intimate I was in the front row and it was incredible!! Love Gaslight Anthem!!! <3<3<3

All three bands were excellent, although they all had a similar vibe and sound. If you like that sound, then you would have loved the show. Gaslight Anthem really rocked. We were up front and some drunk guy pushed his way up mid way through the show and was a bit too rambunctious. Security eventually pulled him out. It is a fine line between letting people have fun, dance and jump around, and when certain people are being a nuisance. The last two or three songs a mosh pit broke out close to the stage and security kept an eye on it but let it go which was the right call. I know they get criticized to being too heavy handed at times, and sometimes they are, but this night I thought they did a great job.

The Gaslight Anthem at The National was an outstanding night of live, energetic music. From the first chords to the last, The Gaslight Anthem proved rock is still alive and kicking. The fact that this band is not more famous than they are, is an absolute sin. The guys put everything into this performance and it showed. Opening acts The Scandals and Northcote put forth amazing sets, as well. I'm looking forward to learning more about these bands!

Gaslight Anthem was good but there was something off with the sound, we could barley hear Brain Fallon's voice but the band sounded awesome!!! Also, I don't love Terminal 5. Incredible show with amazing energy in a 2,000 capacity venue. They are truly a great live band and the crowd was really into this show, including all the new material. Gaslight reminds me of Springsteen and Pearl Jam in relation to their passion for their music/performance, how genuine they seem to be about what they do, and the fact that they give their entire catalog attention in putting together a setlist.

Cory Branan opened for Against Me! and Gaslight Anthem and his all acoustic act was great! His music was a perfect way to start the evening. Against Me! was very loud and it made your whole body beat with the music, but they were pretty good too. Gaslight was sensational! My only complaint for the evening was the large number of drunk adults that were carried out. One man flailed out and knocked the very big security guard into me...That hurt. Definitely recommend seeing Gaslight Anthem!

Gaslight was once again amazing! Their live sound is just as fantastic as their studio work. The new album "Get Hurt" is a more mature album, with a lot of Springsteenish poetry that transfers seamlessly to a concert audience made up of eighteen to fifty year olds. Fallon and his crew have a stage presence that really makes you feel comfortable in the fact that the band truly enjoys entertaining their crowd. I've been wanting to see Brian Fallon and the Gaslight Anthem since 2009 when I first heard the 59 Sound. The wait was worth it. Continuing my theme of the summer beach sound which I began with last week s Best Coast show in NYC, I was intrigued to check out the pop rock, gritty vibe of the Jersey Shore that rolled into upstate New York on Monday night. Rather than easygoing, busty blond bikini-friendly melodious hooks, The Gaslight Anthem deals an interesting blend of Jersey punk, and Springsteen-style workin man s rock n roll. Similar to Best Coast, the band s members proudly wear their regional roots on their sleeves, albeit with much less pretentiousness. Lead singer Brian Fallon exemplifies this by spinning stories between songs about hangin out with the Boss (whose very mention received a smattering of boos from the Albany crowd) and playing shows down the Jersey shore. In my mind, all this New Jersey banter evokes images of unbearably humid weather, dirty beaches, and long drives through the never ending suburb that is the Garden State. I m certainly no enemy of New Jersey (as I am of Southern California), but the place reminds me of an unpleasant scene several years ago in the middle of July when I got lost, a speeding ticket, and into a fender bender in Wildwood while on route to Cape May with my mother-in-law (still shuddering from the memory). I once saw an interview on Youtube with bassist Alex Levine and drummer Benny Horowitz from The Gaslight Anthem who expressed resentment for the cast of Jersey Shore because most of the members were from places in New York such as Long Island and Poughkeepsie. They suggested that the cast be removed from the shore for more authentic Jersey-types. Hey, why not a Jersey Shore featuring the guys from the band and a bevy of cocktail waitresses from Atlantic City? After all, bassist Alex Levine s pretty boy, southern European looks, could qualify him as a cast member for season five of the show. Anyway, in addition to potentially becoming the physical personification of New Jersey (as Jersey Shore cast members), The Gaslight Anthem s sweltering rock also sounds the part. Like Best Coast, their tunes are packed full of hooks and addictive riffs that could incite an intoxicated Snookie to run naked down the boardwalk. Disturbing New Jersey images and experiences aside, being a fan of the Gaslight Anthem s new singles 45 and Handwritten from their just released disc, I was intrigued to see their live set, especially on the eve of the release of the new CD. When I arrived in time to check out most of the opening act Dave Hause, I was shocked to see my favorite venue closest to home in Vermont packed to the gills all the way back to the entrance and had to push my way to a reasonable position near the front. The show itself was performed with workman-like efficiency to an extremely appreciative crowd (many of whom identified themselves as having traveled from Jersey and Philly to see the show). Aside from all of the stage-side banter about those good ol New Jersey times, Fallon and his band mates put on a serous concert, playing a solid two-hour, twenty five song set that rocked throughout. The band was quick to please the crowd early by starting this gargantuan set with some of their hits such as Old White Lincoln, and 45 . Soon thereafter, the band premiered its newest single Handwritten (Fallon mentioned after the number that it was the song s first live performance). The guys also played an interesting, completely reinterpreted cover of Dave Matthews Crash into Me (the unmistakable lyrics of the song were the only sign that it was a cover). The highest moments, however, came later in the show with less familiar stuff. A couple of songs after the Dave Matthews cover, the tune from The 59 Sound LP Film Noir offered a twangy country-sounding diversion from the heavy punk-influenced rock. The performance of Biloxi Parish from the new album was also a definite show highlight. The finest moment of the set arrived one song before the group departed before the encore with the sweet acousticity and guitar solo of Here s Looking at You, Kid. The seven encore numbers offered a mishmash of covers (Songs for Teenagers originally by Fake Problems, and a Dylan cover Changing of the Guard ), megahit singles ( The 59 Sound was the show closer), and solid tunes from their back catalog ( We Came to Dance and She Loves You ). As far as I could tell, the band only played three tracks from the new album 45, Handwritten, and Biloxi Parish which was a slight disappointment as the disc boasts some gems. All in all a good set, and now I feel like I ve received an ample supply of New Jerseyness to get me through any yearnings for trips along the Garden State Parkway, whiny female accents, and challenging stares from muscle bound Italian guys.

I thought the show was amazing. Gaslight Anthem was the best, they blew the crowd away. Also Cage The Elephant, I didn't expect as many people to be dancing to their songs. Both of them were great. One of the better shows I've seen. There was only one problem, the opening act before Cage The Elephant and Gaslight Anthem. The opening act A Place To Bury Stangers was awful. All I could hear was this high pitch whine coming from the feedback because the guitar was so beaten up that that's what mostly came out. And I could say that I wasn't the only person who wasn't happy with them because half of the crowd BOOED them when they left the stage. But either than that, the show was amazing. Cage The Elephant and Gaslight Anthem made it so much better.

The Best Gaslight Anthem show I've ever seen...oh yeah and Bruce Springsteen, The Boss himself, showed up the rock out on "American Slang". A Christmas gift came early this year!!! This truly was an unforgettable show that will stay with me forever!

This is the third time I've seen Gaslight in Atlanta and it was by far the best. They never disappoint and the opening bands that they tour with are always awesome. Fake Problems was great live, however, I wasn't impressed with Rival Schools.

TGA always brings their passion for their 'performance'...actually, i wouldn't even call it that - they're not performing, they are sharing their lives with all of us- it's their heart, their soul, their energy, their pure honesty for the songs they sing and what they stand for. hearing them live is an experience. the crowd is loyal and propels the energy even more.i've seen TGA 4 times and brian acoustic 2 times all within this year, each has its own title and experience, and all have been amazing shows that 'never lets you down'. Unfortunately because it was an outdoor show and Asbury Park apparently has a noise curfew, they could only play several songs as an encore, otherwise TGA would have probably played more encore songs like they normally do. The whole set was long otherwise and purely amazing!

Tim Barry opened with an amazing set. I can't recommend highly enough checking him out. He sings with a ferocity rarely seen. Gaslight Anthem was fantastic. They played a great set with a lot of energy. Amazing night.

Watching gaslight anthem (GA) in front of their audience in los angeles was very special for me. I am from Greece, I am for vacation in LA, I love GA, so I booked my tickets two months ago. But it was only after the show had started that I understood how much popular they are in USA and that they have such crazy fans! People new all the lyrics and seemed to enjoy every single moment of the gig. Wiltern is a great venue, I wish only the sound was a little better. I am happy that I was there

Rock and Roll is alive and well on July 16th, 2010. It's name is THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM. Their inspired and capable leader, Brian Fallon and the members, his faithful three musketeers ripped through a brilliantly executed set showing heart, soul and rock and roll. Great sound. Looked like some new gear up there. Orange Bass amp sounded AMAZING. Awesome energy. They restored my faith in Rock and Roll. Don't miss this show. Only a $15 ticket....would have paid $50 and still not feel ripped off.

Start off with...mildly disappointed with the fact the show was moved indoors. My girlfriend and I were really looking forward to seeing them under a few stars. First 2 bands were forgettable. But Gaslight was amazing. Seen them a few times at smaller places ...this one beat them all. Highly recommend! !

The Paramount is a fantastic venue. Gaslight Anthem were incredible. They played an awesome set list. The venue is small enough that there really isn't a bad seat in the house. We sat in our seats for four songs. The rest of the time we were on the upper tier by the bar. Super fun show. One of my favorite experiences in a very long time.

Gaslight was amazing, they put on a great show live, along with Against Me and Jimmy Eat World! The Mann Center was a great venue for such an event. There was room to stand, the beers were cold, and the company was all good vibes! Thanks to all who helped made it possible.

I ended up getting to the show late because of work, so I can't really say much about whether Against Me! were any good, but the people that I heard from in the crowd seemed to dig them, so take that for what it's worth. Jimmy Eat World put on a very solid set. In fact, I might go as far as saying that they were the best act of the night. As for the main act, I've seen The Gaslight Anthem before, and I love their music. But I think that the show that they played last summer with the Bouncing Souls was a better performance from them. They still played a good show, but it wasn't really as energetic as the previous times that I've seen them. Maybe it was because Benny wasn't able to drum due to medical reasons, or maybe it was because of half of their set was acoustic, so it had a more relaxed feel to it, but I didn't go a way from this performance thinking that I had seen the band's best. Like I said though, it was still a good show overall. I would recommend seeing them just to say that you've seen Gaslight live.

What a nice place to catch a show on a summer night! Spectacular view of the Philly skyline - plenty of concessions with short lines and quick credit swipe transactions - good sound. The show started with Against Me! and they gave an energetic 40 minute performance...followed by Jimmy Eat World who delivered a great set (about 60 minutes) and kept the crowd rocking.. The drummer for the Gaslight Anthem had an emergency and couldn't play - the dude from Against Me! sat in and did a good job especially given that he had to watch Brian and the bassist constantly to know when to end the tunes. The last hour of the show was interesting as Brian played 12 -string acoustic versions of GA tunes. Not what I paid for, but it was cool and interesting to watch a rising band figure out what to do with no drummer when headlining in front of a big crowd. They did a good job - but I was hoping to end the night drenched in sweat from dancing.

Due to a family emergency Alex was unavailable but there emergency replacement filled in and the show was great. An unexpected unplugged set that was the 2nd half was something you don't always get to hear. My props to Bryan Fallon for explaining the problem and moving forward with the show. What professionalism! Jimmy Eat World was the great live band they have always been. Unfortunatly I missed Against Me. Hope to catch them sometime in the future. All in all a great triple bill.

I've seen The Gaslight Anthem a few times now, and I even had the pleasure of seeing Brian Fallon acoustic once as well, and this was seriously my favorite concert of their's that I've experienced. Benny was unable to drum due to a family emergency, but even then, they still sounded great. Brian's voice is just so much more incredible live. Philly even got a surprise acoustic set.

This show was incredible! This is my fourth time seeing The Gaslight Anthem and they absolutely did not disappoint! First of all, they lost their drummer earlier in the day due to an emergency and were able to have the drummer from Agaisnt Me fill in for the first half of the set. I thank that drummer with my sincerest gratitude, he did a great job for not really being familiar with the music. The second half was acoustic, which I LOVED! Some ofy favorite TGA stuff is on the slower side, so some of my favorites were played during that acoustic set. Brian Fallon connected with the audience in a way that let us fans know that he was genuinely appreciative of everyone that came out, and I love when musicians can make that connection with the crowd. I think it adds a personal touch to the experience. I loved every minute of that show and can't wait to see them again!

I still cannot fathom how some people are still relatively unaware of The Gaslight Anthem. The Gaslight Anthem is a tremendous band that I fear was born in the wrong generation. Their show on June 19 in Clifton Park, NY exhibited raw energy, fun, and, most importantly, great music. Brian Fallon is the next in line of terrific front men while the entire band rocks. My personal highlight was their rendition of "Great Expectations" immediately followed by their cover of "House of the Rising Sun." The Gaslight Anthem is a band who must be experienced live.

Let me start by saying the show was not bad. It just could have been a lot better. The music and sound were as expected, however the vocals were massively drowned out by the bands sound. If you didn't know the song, you would have a hard time making out any of the lyrics. That is the only thing that keeps this show from being Amazing.

The set opened with Handwritten. The band had just started their second "Whoa-ohs" when I got slammed in the back by a couple of people clearly there not to listen to the band but to start a fight. While I was able to ride them off, they spotted someone else to pick on and the inevitable fight started. The security people did an OUTSTANDING job in getting to the two troublemakers and removing them with a minimum of disruption. I say minimum, though, because the band stopped playing until the incident was resolved, and in my opinion, the fight put Brian Fallon in a sour mood for the remainder of the concert, and no one can blame him for that. Nonetheless, the band did a tremendous set, closing with Great Expectations and the encore closed with American Slang. I attended with my daughter, whose favorite song is Blue Dahlia, which they played mid-set, making the night worthwhile for that alone. We have seen this band 4 times now in a variety of venues and they have never failed to impress. Despite the opening disturbance, they were again great tonight.

This was the second time since "handwritten" was released that I've seen TGA. The first time was in Nashville and the band was talkative and interacted with the crowd quite a bit. This time a fight broke out 2 songs in and it pissed the band (mostly Brian) off. After giving the crowd a talking to the band stuck to playing the songs. The set list was very different than the last time I saw them, which was nice. I hate it when bands tour with the same set list for a year.

One of the best concerts I've ever been to. Tons of energy, the band played a long set, and you could tell they truly enjoyed the performance. This was on one of the final legs of Gaslight's tour, and you could tell they were exhausted, but they didn't let it affect their play in the least. Also, the quality of their live performance matches quite well to the studio albums -- they do not, in fact, "suck live."

Gaslight played a really solid set with a great mix of songs off their earlier albums and ep, including iTunes bonus tracks from their latest albums. High energy, up beat and fun. They have played a lot of shows with many more quieter ballads - not this time. The only really slower song was Navesink Banks off of Sink or Swim which was much appreciated. The crowd at the Norva is always a mixed bag. Plenty of douchey guys (and a few girls) pushed their way up to the front during Senor and the Queen upsetting all the nice folks who got their early to be up front. The level of irritation was evident as it was clear the rude folks weren't so much great fans of the band as they were drunk, high fiving bros happy to just be up front and push each other around. At the same time, there were fans constantly screaming out things like "59 sound!" whenever Brian would try to talk. He was clearly irritated by them but didn't let it affect the set. When he took the request for Miles Davis it was from a guy backstage on the balcony - Brian made a point that that guy knew how to call out a request which felt more like a jab at the folks who kept yelling at him than a compliment to the guy with a piercing whistle and a Miles t-shirt. Bottom line, if you like this band's catalog you'll probably like their live show.

Over the past few years I have really gotten into the Gaslight Anthem. This is my 4th time seeing them and they did not disappoint. From the way they opened with Handwritten to the overall mix of new and older jams, i have to say it was them playing at their finest. They could have played a few more songs from their 59 sound album, but overall it was a great show.

Great show in great and scenic location. As always, Gaslight killed it. The only downer were all the Springsteen fans who only came to show on the hope that Bruce showed up. Respect their loyalty to Springsteen and glad that they contribute to help Gaslight, but please go to his shows for that and not to Gaslight, who is not Springsteen.

Brian Fallon is an outstanding performer and he really engages the crowd...his revelation of his man crush on Ryan Gossling really made for an interesting segway into a few songs. The venue was OUT OF THIS WORLD (Pier 26 in Chelsea, Lower Manhattan). We were just mad we couldn't stay for the next two nights' worth of shows. They played all their well known songs as well as all their old stuff which really made us happy. I can't wait to see them the next time they come around which won't be for awhile he said, but when they do I'm first in line to buy tix. Love love love them. Love them!!

Normally a great show, lead singer got overly sensitive to bruce chants, sang 2 less songs than first show and left stage without acknowledging crowd who stood in the rain for 2 hours. His reasoning for getting mad at the chants was that he thought the chants implied people wanted bruce to come out or that they came to see bruce come out. As most bruce fans know he was in Europe so we were most definitely there to see Gaslight anthem and only Gaslight anthem. The only reason the bruce chants started was because the lead singer himself brought up singing cover songs.

So Laura from Against Me got super pissed over monitor feedback and smashed the mic stand and left the stage. Resulting in a 4 song set, and a waste of money. It took a rather long time for Gaslight to start, and they focused heavily on their new album. Which wasn't a surprise, but it just wasn't as good as watching them play their older stuff.
