I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Never was a Def Leppard fan but they did put on a good show. Definitely enjoyed Journey playing my old favorite songs. Arnel sang his heart out as always. Enjoyed Johnathan Kayne playing the keyboard and loved his solo. Steve machine gun Smith was awesome on the drums as always and Greg was hysterical on the stage. Neal Schon is so awesome that I can never get enough listening to his sounds with his guitar playing. Journey was as good as I remember when going to their concerts when I was young. Sure do miss Steve Perry but Arnel does an excellent job achieving the Journey sounds of Steve s voice. They all brought back memories with all their beautiful music and I thank Journey for all they do and will not stop beliven in them.

Def Leppard started the show and got the crowd PUMPED! Journey finished it out with their high energy awesomeness!

Been a Journey fan since 1979 & always will be. They never disappoint. The show was AWESOME !!!

From the start this show was electric as always. I know how difficult it can be to sing on an extremely windy night and arnel shined all night.

Really enjoyed the concert, but also went to check out Sacramento's new stadium. Was very impressed. Having concerts there is perfect and to be able to see Journey there was doubly enjoyable!

Def Leppard was incredible. Journey had some issues,from spotty sound for the singer(a long with his changing of phrasing that took him out of sync with the band),a bass overload that distorted a lot of the songs,and Neal schon playing way too many solos with NO direction. Def Leppard should have been the headliner. They ha the audience in the palm of their hand from the get go!

Sound was great it was if they do on there album.They bounce around all over the stage so where we were sitting we could see all the band members.Great show, now Journey band was great sounds the only draw back the lead singer almost sound like Steve Perry but he can t reach the real high notes like him.

Both Def Leppard and Journey did a fantastic job! Def Leppard in particular sounded nearly like an album! Journey had some mixing issues initially but they worked out the kinks. Where I would critique the performance is in the solo appropriation. Neal had three solo sessions and being a musician myself I could listen to that all day! But, that's not what fans come to hear. I do understand the reasoning, and it's solid. For Arnel to emulate one of the greatest vocalists of all time and do it for an hour and a half is incredibly difficult. Maybe bring a bass solo into the mix or an instrumental compilation number? Now THIS is the part of the review that I hope the stage managers or venue sees. The graphics you've created are fantastic! The screens are the most valuable real estate at a concert now days, but I noticed a substantial portion went unused because it was designated for banners and such. Why? About 80% of your audience is either too far away or too short to actually SEE your performance without the FULL use of those screens being concentrated on the performers. Keep on rockin' guys!!

Both bands show great appreciation for their fans as they make it clear they have no intention of stopping their touring to roll out their biggest hits of the 1980s and 1990s that have brought them their fame and fortune

I had second row to the show and I cannot overstate just how amazing the show was. Both Def Leppard and Journey were spectacular. I had not seen Journey with this singer, if you closed your eyes you would have sworn it was their original singer from the 80 s.

Truly inspiring to see these old guys up there kicking it and having such a good time after all these years. Great show!

journey dragged out music with instrument solos. music too loud, couldnt hear their voices.

It got a 1 star because there were no negative stars �! Parking sucked, walked 2.1 miles one way to get in. The sound sucked for Journey, distorted and Neil Schon was like a teenage girl in his bedroom with a solo every 18 seconds. Waited in line over 45 minutes to get a beer only to have them tell us they ran out, unacceptable, outrageous and piss poor planning. I will drive to Scranton or Pittsburgh before entering this hole again! Ticket prices should be refunded for this disgrace!

Still rocking and so much fun!!! My 12 year old had a blast too!!

It was a great show we had fun only problem was the place seat were so close together you had no room but the bands were great

Def Leppard put on an awesome concert we were on our feet the entire time. Journey was good but too many solos and each were too long. It was great being able to see both groups on the same night.

Def Leppard came to play and that they did. Was an absolutely AWESOME time!!! Cant wait to see them again!!

Def Leppard was awesome....Journey had sound system issues and sounded bad, we left halfway thru their set..it was ashame

Def leppard rocked the opening only to be followed by the poor sound and vocals by Journey. Some of the sound issues were Hersheys fault. The soundboard manager should be fired. Sound was worse for Joutney. A horrible decision by Journey to include no less than 45 minutes of solo instrumentals. I came to hear their songs, not see them egotistically show off. That was the deciding factor for me to never go see them again. I know I'm not alone because after their 1st or 2nd time of doing solos people will leaving in droves of thousands. I will definitely see Def Leppard again as long as they are touring with Journey.

Absolutely AMAZING! Only 5 Stars for a Rating isn't enough. Should be 10. I had never seen them before, with or without Steve Perry.. but you could sure feel his presence. Absolutely amazing is all I can say. And would Go Again. Recommended to Anyone. I'm 50 something, and def. waited entirely TOO long to see them, And getting the VIP tickets was an added extra (accidental) Perk. Loved it. Nvr Expected to See one of the members of the band up that close and personal., another 1st.

Fantastic concert! Everybody was at their best, from Neal, Jonathan, Ross, to Steve, and of course, Arnel. Arnel was a bundle of pure energy, jumping all over the stage, energizing the audience. The setlist was mostly oldies but goodies, mixed with a couple of newer songs. Steve Smith nearly stole the show with his drum skills. We had never been to a Journey concert before and this was well worth the (exorbitant) price of admission. Word to the wise: whoever comments that Arnel is just a glorified karaoke singer, you've obviously never seen him perform live. He is keeping the band alive right now, giving all his heart out every night on the road. Here's to a never ending Journey!

Journey never disappoints! The music and the enthusiasm were over the top. I loved the venue. I do, however, hope they they are continuing to improve the acoustics.

Went to the event to see Arnel because of his fantastic voice and his life story. Did not expect the great show the whole band provided. Very enjoyable evening. I'm 67 years old and this is my first rock concert and will, most probably, be my last. If I were younger I might become a Journey "groupie" - just kidding but I did enjoy the show and the evening. The timing and production went off perfectly. The venue leaves a lot to be desired as for acoustics but that is not the fault of the band. Loved the show!

This was the best concert I have ever been too! When you know the words to every song, I will be going back "to the city by the bay"

I started listening to Journey in the early 80's and they quickly became one of my favorite bands, unfortunately I never got to see them in concert. When I saw they were coming to Jacksonville there was no way I was going to miss them and it was better then I thought it was going to be. Arnel Pineda was the right guy to replace Steve Perry, he has so much energy and really sings and performs for the audience.

Asia opened with a mind blowing playlist. I wasn't going for Asia but, so glad I did get there early enough to see them. The main show Journey (minus Steve Perry) was above and beyond my expectations. Absolutely the best night of my '80 years happened in 2017.

Being a fan for most of my life my kids have grown up knowing the music too. So when we heard they were coming to concert, I knew my kids would be upset if I went and didn't take them! Journey was everything we expected and more! Kids loved it and were so happy. Arnel Pineda is amazing! Blown away at the similarities in voice.

The best band ever. The musicianship is incredible. Every song a hit. The soundtrack of my high school and college days. Arnel Pinada is outstanding and energetic. 8 thumbs up!

Concert was very entertaining. They played a lot of classic hits. I had terrible seats that shouldn't even exist but the venue is money over everything else.

I attended this show from out of town (Chicago) because they weren't coming near me. Never been to venue before. I thought their set was tight. Band cohesive. Drum solo by Steve smith was incredible, Neal's second solo including "Sweet Home Alabama" brought down the house.

I love to go to Oak Mt Amphitheater they always bring in the best bands. The staff is always polite even down to the ending of the night & Thanking us for coming.

Journey was fantastic, as usual!!! But the best surprise was how good Asia was!!! Would definitely see both groups again!

My first Journey and Asia Concert it was AMAZING!!

Overall it was a good show. Neil Schon played way too many solos but it still wasn't bad. The video effects were AWESOME and totally blew me away I am more of a Journey fan and this was probably my 12th or 14th time seeing them (without Perry) but my first time seeing Def Leppard. This show win goes to Def Leppard for the better overall performance

Journey and Def Leppard played over the top! Two huge headliners at one concert.

This was a great concert. Def Leppard was perfect and maybe even better than the last time we saw them at Little Rock about 30 years ago. And their light show was just tremendous. Journey was great as well. However, the vocals were not balance with the music. Also, the lead guitar was turned up a bit too hot. This did not hurt the performance but I wish we could have heard the vocals better. The new lead signer is awesome and we could have enjoyed his performance more if they'd just turned his mic up a bit. My one recommendation would be to open with Journey first and then have Def Leppard as the second act since their show is more powerful.

Def Leppard was fantastic. Sound was perfect. Great stage presents. Journey was WAY TO LOUD. Around the 3rd or 4th song ppl started leaving because you couldn t hear the singer sing over the loudness of the music. Singer was very entergetic. Was just to loud to hear him.

Journey themselves put on an excellent show. Arnell brings a ton of energy to their performance! They played some of my favorites! However, whoever was responsible for the sound mixing, should be replaced! The bass was way over the top, and sounded messy and unbalanced. Not sure if this is someone at Verizon or someone on Journey's team, but I think that the sound needed a lot of improvement. The visuals were good though. I love Journey and I am so thankful that I got to see these legends perform live!

Journey had you reliving the 80 s from the moment they began. They had you singing along and remembering the glory days! It was a fun night.

Once again I am not disappointed. Def Leppard and Journey were freakin amazing. Both bands put on a great show. I can t wait for them to come back to Milwaukee Wisconsin. Keep Rockin !

This is was a great concert. Both bands were great. The stage and lighting was awesome. The sound was great for def leppard, and really good for journey. Both bands brought there A+ game

It was a great night. Turning 50 and going on a vacation to Belize the next day. But, to be honest, the appetizers were cold, mediocre and the burgers were dry and cold. Very disappointing for $450 per person. Only saving grace for us was I won the auction for the guitar signed by the guys from Journey and I go to talk with Jonathan Cain and his wife Paula

Awesome 80's concert in 2018! Two great bands gave the fans a night to remember. The sound at the beginning of Journey's set was rough but the techs corrected it. Def Leppard rocked the house, wish they would have closed the show instead of opening it. Still awesome!

I could not be happier to watch these two top not classic rock bands, playing together this year! I ve been a Def Leppard fan for many years and always enjoyed Journey as well. I could listen to those bands everyday! The seats were great, close to the stage which I totally recommend, and both bands were very friendly and sounded amazing! Hats off to all members and also staff that made it all possible and the concert was very smooth.

Journey and Def Leppard rocked the stage! Both bands live sound awesome and performance was exciting as we sang along and walked down memory lane! Highly recommend this concert!

Two awesome bands still kicking ass after all these years! Would definitely recommend seeing this show. Seating could be a little more forgiving. Not at all fun sitting on top of each other because the seats are set up for small children. Other than that had a lot of fun.

Both bands were as tight as they could be. Arnel Pineda brings a high level of energy and spirit. Joe Elliott Sounds like he did 30 years ago. Phil Collen is a rocket sexy ass and I want to kiss him on the mouth. The best way to experience this show is up close. I recommend within the first 10 rows. Def Lep opens with Hit after Hit...all played impeccably. Then Journey finished up with their greatest...took me back to my teens...Great Show!

Both bands were excellent. My wife and I will definitely be going back to future events.

I must say, I wasn t sure what to expect. I d seen Journey in 2016 and loved it but had never seen Def Leppard. Rumors flying outside the stadium walls about each band were put to rest as soon as Def Leppard and Journey hit the stage for their first songs. Both bands were absolutely incredible! Definitely worth every penny and then some!

Great concert with affordable seating and still providing good views of venue. Had a great time, good access to drinks and food, good acoustics for type of venue

First time seeing two of my favorite bands at the same time! The both were amazing and seeing them from row 3 was a huge bonus. They did not dissapoint! Mr. Schon s guitar licks were the highlight of the evening...BRAVO!!!

Seeing Journey in concert was a dream that came true. So I really enjoyed but .... I didn t appreciate the sound. The drum and bass sound was much too high that we were not hearing correctly the singer voice. For Journey, not hearing Arnel s voice distinctively was a big deception.

Journey was the first band out and put on a great show with the exception of a few self-indulgent solo's that went on for far too long. Arnel Pineda sounded great, as did the rest of the band, and Arnel certainly has plenty of energy. At one point, Pineda hopped off stage to take a short lap around the arena. It seemed that by the time fans spotted him across the room, he already was in their section. You either love "Don't Stop Believin'" because its objectively good or you hate it because it s been overplayed. Either way, the crowd went into a frenzy as soon as the first piano chord hit and Pineda slipped on a Tennessee basketball jersey. And Steve "Machine Gun" Smith on drums was incredible. Even if drum solo's is such an 80's thing too do, his solo was very entertaining. Neal Schon was good, but there was simply no need for 4 guitar solos. A couple coming after certain songs, but lasting for an extra 4 or 5 minutes. That would have been fine, but the other solo's he had just lasted too long when they could have been replaced with some additional songs from their vast list of excellent albums. Overall, I give Journey 3 out of 5 stars. When you pay $150 to see a show and are only given 13 songs with 4 guitar solo's, you leave wondering why they left so many of their good songs off the list and subbed them with extended guitar solo's. Thank goodness Def Leppard was still to come because they really knocked it out of the park. No extended solo's, just hit after hit and their sound was amazing. Kudos to the sound engineer for producing such great sound in a venue that's known for having pretty poor acoustics.

Def Leppard's sound and playlist was fantastic at this show. Sadly, Journey's sound was awful. There was a lot of feedback, noises, etc. Even the lead singer had a problem with his earpiece monitor and had to have it changed. Had to leave during Journey so I could remember the good sound they used to have.

Very impressed, show was definitely worth seeing. We enjoyed the smaller venue at Casino.

In the 80s Journey came to Hawaii and played 5 nights and I didn't go. I finally got to go and even without Steve Perry, they still got it! My only complaint is The last time I went to concert, a long time ago, Lol, they let you rush the stage. Everyone had to stay by their seats. I had seats on the side risers but maybe I should've shelled a little more to get closer. Also, I brought my selfie stick but shortly after using it a usher told me I couldn't. I didn't see any signage or anything on the tickets saying this. Lastly there were a some songs that they didn't sing. They did a medley of some of them but they were very short snippets of them.

Journey is unbelievable! The sound was perfect, the tempo was perfect and of course the musicians were perfect! The lead singer is a great showman and has a great voice...You do not miss steve perry at all. The band played all the great classics and even a few deep cuts. I LOVED that steve smith (the original drummer) is touring - He is unbelievable - Thanks steve! As far as Asia goes, NOT GOOD. They played all of there songs way to fast! The tempo had to be faster than the studio release. The sound was not good either! Sorry Asia, it just wasn't good. I am 53 yrs old and the journey show will live on as one of the best shows I have ever seen and I will remember for ever.

Ford Center venue in Evansville was very organized, kept the lines moving and very helpful in assisting people to their seats. The concert was high energy with excellent sound and audience participation. Large screens with close ups of piano playing, drums and guitar were great.

This was my very first concert and I went with 5 of my lady friends, we had an amazing night. Absolutely could not have picked a better concert to go to for my first one props to Journey and Asia you guys were amazing.

Just a great show! Love the music and the sound was really really good. They have so many songs they can't play all of them so Jonathan Cain did a piano medley that incorporates a number of their songs . This was amazing as he lead it right into Open Arms . Arnel plays the crowd very well . Confetti was a nice touch!

Over all experience was amazing. The band's sounded great and our seats were wonderful.

Journey was amazing! You almost forget how many hits they have until they play one after another. Their lead singer was fantastic and has so much energy. But it wasn't just about the singer, these guys can play and the guitar and drum solos made you want more.

This was a great show! Although I am a huge Steve Perry fan, I have to admit that Arnel did a pretty good job as lead singer. I would go again!

The musicianship was unreal! All of their mini solos really showed how talented they really are and together they were amazing!

This was the third time my husband and I have been able to see Journey within a three year span. The band was outstanding! Great energy!

This was my son's first ever concert. Besides thoroughly enjoying Journey's music, we were inspired by their performance! The concert clearly demonstrated their passion for music and excellence in the mastery of their instrument.

I went 2 nights (2/24 and 2/26/17) and enjoyed both shows. The band showed just as much energy on both nights. The talent in that group is immeasurable. Each band member was showcased and we got to see what each one contributes to this band. It's no wonder they are still popular after all these years. Arniel is like a firecracker, he just keeps running and jumping around while singing without missing a note or losing his breath, it's amazing. I would definitely recommend everyone to attend Journey's concerts. I can't wait for them to come back to Honolulu.

Great concert, Pineda performance was awesome....Sold out show, great encore performance.......Song took me back to my younger years

The experience as a whole was a fun time as the people around were pleasant, the Doobie Brothers were good and the staff working concessions were great but Journey as the main act was disappointing. It started out great but with each song it just got worse. The new lead singer they have decided to change the words to classic journey songs that people had grown to love and it was disturbing. I realize he was personalizing it to him but because these songs were classic they should have been left alone. The quality of the singers voice seemed to dwindle with each passing song and before the show was over we ended up leaving because being stuck in the awful traffic to finish watching the rest wasn't really worth it which was sad because my favorite journey song was one of songs that he chose to alter the lyrics.

What a fantastic show this was. All the bands played exceptionally well and even Mother Nature cooperated with a warm, sunny afternoon.

It was a beautiful day and evening at AT&T park with a star studded cast of musical artists. Growing up in San Franciso, I've attended several Day on the Green shows and this one is right there with some of the best. Bill Graham must have been smiling from on high. Journey, Santana, Steve Miller Band, The Doobie Brothers and Tower of Power all performed with true professionalism and talent.

All the bands were fantastic and it was great to have so many of them together like we had in the good ole days. AT&T park was a great venue. Only downfall was not enough bathrooms for the lower level.

All the performances were Awesome! It was a day that will not be forgotten. Friendly crowd dancing and singing in their chairs, aisles, while walking, in the bathrooms and in lines. It was definitely a Blast from the Past! It was fun to dance and sing to all this wonderful music. It felt like the music brought everyone together. Great vibes!! I would have given this review 5 stars, but it is due to Steve Perry not being a part of the show. To us, Journey was Steve Perry or Steve Perry was Journey. We had no idea he retired. It was the biggest disappointment! This is why we left during Journey's performance. All the band members were great, but without Steve Perry it was not the same.

This was the BEST concert for 2016. The show took me back to The "Day on the Green" days. The weather was perfect , myself and all the people at the concert had a amazing experience. Love to see more shows like this again.

All 4 artists were fantastic, and the venue was perfect. We especially enjoyed Journey. However, the tickets were a bit pricey ($120 per person)

SF Fest was NOT a 'Day on the Green'... It was a 'Day on the Seats'. First the complaints... Just getting in was an experience. The lines went totally around the ball park and it was difficult to figure out which line to get into. Once in the lines did not stop. I have never seen longer lines for the bathroom! Food/drink lines were bad in areas. It was nice you could bring your own snacks in... Loved the line up and Santana and Doobie Brothers were the BEST! Tower of Power was right in there with them... I was not impressed with Steve Miller Band and I don't think that Journey should have been the headliner. We left after every song sounded the same. Thanks for putting together a memorable concert!

Great day, great concert, Santana is incredible. All the bands were excellent. I hope they do it again next year.

I really thought I'd seen enough of Steve Miller and The Doobies over the years but I have to say they really BROUGHT IT! Santana was EPIC! Journey was phenomenal as well. The crowd and venue were great!

The songs they actually performed were awesome! All 5 or 6 them...the rest of the 3 hours was filled with guitar, drum, and keyboard solos that went on so long people were getting bored and getting annoyed. I was a little disappointed as this was not the performance I was expecting from such a legendary group and for the ticket prices. But it was still amazing to see Journey live!! We enjoyed ourselves over all, but like many, many others, the 4 of us ended up leaving early.

I bought these tickets for my teenagers birthday, but I have to admit I have always loved Journey but was never able to see them. The show was AWESOME! An unforgettable memory for me and my daughter! I did not think anyone could replace Steve Perry but.... they couldn't have found anyone better then Arnel Pineda, he gave new life to the band! I loved when Jonathan Cain the keyboard player, talked about the history of Journey and the songs they wrote. Thank you Journey!!!

Great band, great venue, outside concert, staff worked hard to ensure everyone had a great time, reasonable price for ticket, free parking, spendy food & drinks, lots of toilets, perfect weather

Was a show to remember. Played all the greats you wanted to hear and more.

Three words "Get There Early!" It's a hurry up and wait game, but getting there early is key to a good time!

I was over the moon thrilled by the show Journey put on! The screens gave us an easy way to see the band members up close without paying the front row price! Theses guys a musical genius's even 35 years after their top album Escape hit the market! The new singer was UNBELIEVABLE, he sounded so much like Steve Perry it was insane!!! It made the experience like I was at their concert back in 1982! My only complaint was Treasure Island didn't have a good method of directing traffic out of the parking lot... it took over an hour to get out. Regular people kicked in to direct traffic because it took 30 minutes to move 20 feet!
