I saw Eric Burdon and the Animals in the 70 s and was glad to see them again still touring. While the voice is not quite up to his voice of yesteryear, it was great hearing and singing all his hits once again. Nostalgia fans will want to see him if and when he comes to their city. A can t miss nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Went not expecting much from the Yardbirds portion of the show...they were incredible. Closed with Dazed and Confused...awesome. Eric Burdon and the Animals were the main attraction and why we were there. I had watched some youtube videos before the show and it didn't sound like or look like it was going to be very good, but hey it's the Animals...I'm going. Well let me tell you. Don't put to much faith in you tube videos that are shot on a cell phone. Eric wasn't able to hit all the notes but he hit most and put on a very good show. I would go again in a heartbeat. Fantastic!!!

While none of the Animals looked old enough to have been born when the songs they played first came out they played them with superior skill and were obviously enjoying themselves. Eric Burden still has it and was also having fun. The venue was awesome, I was in row c set 10 and literally could touch the stage. It was the most fun I've had at a concert since the 1970s and I go to a lot of shows.

i really enjoyed the show, eric was in his usual form and the band was pretty much spot on, i wasnt totally impressed with the andiamo celebrity showroom but the music was enough to make up for the venues lack of expierience with a top act like mr burdon.

This concert in the small venue was fantastic. It was great to hear the old songs from the 60's. Eric got the crowed up dancing and we got to remember all the moments from when those songs were first played. Love those British rock groups.

Eric was great ! Music was the Animals basic classics, with added blues. Too bad there was no room for more of the classics. The opening act of the ex-Dick Purtan guy was tortuous at best. A complete waste. Spend the bucks and have Eric burden do a second act. The second act was a comedian guitarist... ok funny... I came to see Eric Burden. Get the message yet? The Andiamos commercials on the TV screens were painfully too loud. Don't plan on using your Andiamos card for points... there aren't any.

It was surprising that he still had so much energy. The background music was not so loud that you couldn't hear him sing. There was a wide range of ages, and everyone enjoyed themselves. All in all it was a great evening.

Eric Burden inserted new lyrics in some songs and did not sing many of the known lyrics for his songs. In many cases the song was a modified and shortened version. His staccato delivery made some of the lyrics unrecognizable. Also many were disappointed that "Sky Pilot " was omitted to make room for some music which was not part of his recognizable fame.

My wife and I saw this show and enjoyed it very much. Eric Burdon still is good although much older and his band The Animals were excellant too, very good musicians. The only complaint I have is with Andiamo's seating. When I bought the tickets it had us in seats 1 & 2, which means nothing. You get your table number but seat numbers are first come firt serve. We learned that after seeing "Elvis to the Max" last year, even though we had seat numbers, we couldn't even sit next to one another so if you go to Andiamo's for a show, get there when doors open so you can get a good seat. But Eric Burdon is worth the money any time you get a chance to go.

Eric Burdon and the Animals are still at the top of their game. Pushing 70, the rebel still has his edge and commanding stage presence. It was a great evening of great music from a great band.

The performance of the Yardbirds seemed like two elder priests and their alter boys. The guitarist Johnny A was great but the band sounded like a good cover band, they did play all the hits. Eric Burton still has his voice and opening with "Spill the Wine" was a great choice . The "so called Animals" were only fair. The venue needs to do something about welcoming guests as the line to get into the venue was about three blocks long. Had the weather been bad the entrance would have been unbearable. The venue itself was good although they should have a policy about cell phone picture taking that doesn't obscure the stage from other guests. All in all an average show.

Eric Burdon was unbelievable at 77 years old. He still looks great. I would definitely go see him again. The venue was comfortable. The only problem, and this is any concert hall you go to, is when people stand up in front of you, you cannot see a thing. There should be a standing area where people can dance or stand.

Eric Burdon put on a fabulous performance. Worth the price of admission. In addition to many of his hits he performed a haunting rendition of Leadbelly's In The Pines! The disappointing aspect was the opening act "The Yardbirds". They were just a cover band. Advertisements recently showed Jeff Beck and Keith Rolf as part of the touring band but neither were there.

I was delighted to get tickets to the Yardbirds and Eric Burdon & the Animals. There had been dozens of hit records back in the day. I was prepared for the fact that most of the original musicians have moved on or passed on - if they just play the music, I'd be in heaven. But Lynn Auditorium is like a big tin can and the bands that play there rarely adjust their audio to make the sound pleasant. The Yardbirds came close to the mark. Johnny A is a real talent. I couldn't make out the words when they sang and I couldn't make out the words when they spoke between numbers. When Eric Burdon came on, the situation got worse because his voice is gravelly and ragged. Pumping up the volume rarely helps. I was left with the overwhelming feeling that the great Eric Burdon really needs to retire.

I was looking forward to this concert for months, but this was absolutely the worst '60's group concert I have ever attended. The Yardbirds and Burton showed up 45 minutes late, and it was obvious they didn't bother to set up their instruments in advance. Apparently their voices are shot, so the amps were turned up to eardrum blasting levels. The Lynn Auditorium has the worse acoustics of any venue I have attended (and I have been to a lot!), the place was filthy and the staff rude. As a final insult, several cars in the parking lot were broken into during the concert ("Lynn, Lynn the city of sin..."), including mine and I had to take an Uber home. The perfect ending to an awful concert-save your money.

Vegas show Nov. 24 , 2017 .. Only 3 songs from the animals and completely changed not like the original ! Bunch of other songs from other artists , some you never heard of .. Weak at best .. Eric Burdon I think believes everyone just came to see him .. No other original band members .. Paid 200 for two tickets , better music in the lounge at Golden Nugget .. See quite a few shows in Vegas as I live here .. This definately one of the worst ..

We've seen this show several times and in several venues. They're always great, but this was one of the best. The energy, the music, the interaction with the crowd, it was all great. We will continue to see every show he puts on in Vegas, and we especially like the Golden Nugget Showroom -- not a bad seat in the house and intimate. We love it there.

Drove across state, bought a hotel room only to have concert cancelled 3 hours before show time with only explanation being "unforeseen circumstances." After doing some research I see that Eric seems to cancel a lot of shows. So I'm out several hundred dollars for hotel with no explanation. Buyer beware.

Not having seen Eric live before over the years, it was a treat to see him in a small showroom. His musical magic and voice resounds very well and he functioned quite well at 6000 ft elevation, as many musicians are not prepared for the impact. The band was awesome with a little Zappa flair by the lead guitarist and great keyboards, drumming and lets not forget the HORNS! I was very happy to take a friend who had seen Eric in 1965 and she really enjoyed the show.

Eric Burden and the Animals really put on a good show. Eric has a voice that can still belt out those songs of his, and others, that we have come to love. His band of Animals consisted of six very accomplished artists who played; lead and bass guitar, keyboards, drums, saxophones and brass. Rockers old and young will love this show even if you never heard of Eric Burden and the Animals.

Saw them in Las Vegas and paid a lot of money and was SOOOOOO disappointed. EricBurdon cannot sing anymore and the songs were unrecognizable. Of course he is old like all of us that love and remember this group in the 60's but truly he needs to give it up. The young band was the only reason we stayed for 45 minutes before I looked at my husband and said "We've gotta get out of this place".

First of all, I respect Eric as an artist. He's a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer whose music influenced all those who came after. That said, I've been to hundreds of concerts over the years and this was possibly the worst concert that I've ever been to. The whole show sounded like bad Karaoke. His vocal range has severely diminished and I got the impression that he was tired of singing these songs. He sped through some songs, butchered others, incorporated cover song lyrics into his own songs (which didn't work). Some people must have liked the show because as he started to sing "House of the Rising Sun" dozens rushed the stage. But then again hundreds started to leave at this time too. It was just a bizarre night.

The opening act was Edgar Winters. He played a bunch of Blues Stuff-and, of Course-the Frankenstein Instrumental at the End. I felt like a Shwanshtooker for not bringing foam hearing protectors. I've HAD relatives who lost their hearing, and OTHER things tend to Follow, such as the MIND. Then, The Animals Came on. Eric Burdon started out with his War Collaboration Classic "Spill the Wine." He sang "Lying in a field of medical Mer-ee-juan-a. Edgar jammed with him onstage-I Think for that one. He went through "When I Was Young", "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" I THINK he played "Don't Bring Me Down" (getting Senile in my Fifties-lol) and Finished up with "Sky Pilot" "It's My Life" and the Immortal "We Gotta Get Outta This Place." As I was leaving, the played and Old Sam and Dave Soul song. There were Soul and Blues songs intersperseed throughout the Concert. Like I said, it was LOUD, perhaps to make up for the Old Guys losing their voices.

My husband and I saw this show last year at the Casino and it was awesome!! We decided to go again and were disappointed. Eric and his band played few popular songs, focused on unrecognisable songs, other artists songs, etc. The last few songs of the set were the high lite and the encore. Last year no one left the concert early, this year a different story. On another point, not sure what the Casino has done to their auditorium seats, but are they uncomfortable!!

I remember seeing Eric Burden and the Animals in the early 80's in Philadelphia. They brought down the house and was in the Spectrum. This show was in a tiny venue. The seats were good but not comfortable and way too close together. The opening act Randy Jackson was ok. The Animals were decent. Eric's voice could not be heard over the instruments at times. The guitarist, keyboardist, and percussionist were excellent. The drummer was also very good. It was worth seeing them again, why with so many rockers dying last month, you have to grab the shows when you can before something happens to them.

Eric Burdon and the Animals put on a truly fun and entertaining show. The band is excellent and its obvious that they've been playing together for awhile even though its not the "original" cast of characters. A singer that is from one of the Band's that led to the British invasion of the early 60's to America, he hasn't lost a step. His vocal cords sound today almost as good as yesterday year. Battered by time, Eric Burdon can still sing the Great hits of the Animals and songs from his solo career. The show was a little short compared to today's standard but it was done brilliantly. My only gripe, I brought in a small poster to get signed and he didn't sign it. Drag!. Cheers Stick

Great show. Burdon and his band have lost little of their energy and enthusiasm. One great complement is that they did not overplay the venue, which is very easy in the somewhat tight little Michigan Theater. Levels were perfect and left room for Burdon's vocals to come through sharp and clear. Kudos to their engineer. Same can be said for the Howling Diablos who opened. Both bands clearly enjoy playing and the quality really showed. Fabulous musicians all.

I was pleasantly surprised how good this band was. Eric Burdon has an awesome voice (still !), but we knew that. The band was a great live unit and played old school rock style. They played all the hits I wanted to hear and none that I didn't and covered a couple of old standards. Even a new song (Water?) that was quite good. They really rocked the place and ended with a gia-normous boogie tune. Overall I give them 5 stars. The venue was also great. I had 12th row center seats for about $40. The seats were wide and plenty of legroom. Not crammed in like most every place else. The security let us go to the front of the stage for the last few songs. Drinks were also reasonably priced ... and the DOMESTIC beer was Molson Canadian ! Awesome !!

Eric is a master. His setlist was perfection with different takes on classics. I loved every single minute of it. Especially toward the end, when security left and about 50 of us rushed the stage! Such a good time by us 60 year old plus fans. He is in great voice, appears to be having a great time. His lead guitarist is obviously in awe of Eric. Gorgeous concert, I would see again in a minute. I wish he had spoken to us though. I know he had just visited R&R Hall of Fame and it would have been fun to hear his take on that. He never mentioned Canada which I thought was kinda weird. I wasn't looking for much, but a few tidbits or references to the fact that he too has been in the business for 50 years!

Had to leave after the first few songs. I stayed at the Hotel and paid for ticket and found it was not worth the trip from Corona. We were very disappointed. I say, stick to the sound and music of the original recordings and don't change anything i.e. Frankie Valli still has a great following and still sounds like the original records! Why they change their original sound, don't get it. People remember the hits as they were not as they sound now.

I've attended probably 300 concerts but never seen Eric Burdon. Given his age, I was a bit hesitant to spend the time and money to attend but the man was fantastic. Halfway through the second of three songs he did during his encore Burdon began to look a bit winded but he rallied and finished the set flawlessly. His 6-piece band was also highly impressive with the two guys on horn particularly outstanding. Eric can't have many tours left in him so for those who are fans but haven't seen him, I recommend doing so now if you can. You won't be disappointed.

I was so surprised to see how incredibly talented Edgar Winter was. While I knew of his work back in the seventies, I was not much of a follower. After having seen him, I am amazed at the incredible talent he and his band have. They are all consummate musicians. Then to see an old favorite - Eric Burdon, was just fabulous. He sounded great! At 74 he doesn't move around the stage with that much energy, but Mick Jagger he is not. However, he still has the voice and sang all the songs with much gusto and presence. Having never been lucky enough to have seen him in his prime, I was thrilled to see him live while he is still out there performing! Between the two, it was a wonderful night!

Eric seemed that he was upset that he had to sing his hits Well that's what we paid for he even changed the tempo. When he asked the audience to sing along they were at the right tempo waste of time& money. Edgar Winter lived up to my expectations still knows how to rock

We were expecting a really good concert. If it wasn't for the Edgar Winter Group the entire night would have been a disaster. They were really good but then when the Animals came on things went downhill fast. The group and musicians were very good. It comes a time when you should retire and hang it up. Eric Burdon was great in his prime but he cannot carry a tune anymore. We were cringing and actually embarrassed for him on how awful he sounded. If you can't sing anymore don't rip off your fans by taking money for concerts. This was really a big disappointment!

Edgar Winter was very disappointing. He had so many good songs to perform, but all he did was mimick the instruments asking each band player to play their instruments the same as he sounded. I will not see him again.

Good concert of old rockers! Edgar winter and his band were great musicians. Loved Frankenstein. Wish Eric burden had stuck to more of the original melodies of a few songs.

Edgar Winter was fabulous--full of energy, kicked it hard right from the get-go, and did an amazing call-and-response sequence during "Tobacco Road" with each of the guitarist, the bassist, and the drummer. His voice is strong, and the pace was fast. He actually seemed to enjoy the audience, and it felt engaged. Starting with "Keep Playin' that Rock 'n' Roll" was powerful, and ending on "Free Ride", he really covered his catalog well and the hour went by too quickly. On the other hand, Eric Burdon........... Sorry to say, but it is time for this guy's last rodeo. He came across very presumptuous and entitled, and acted like some New-York-transplant-to-Miami garmento who was drunk at his daughter's wedding. The only thing missing was the white patent leather belt and pinky ring. He rambled around stage, aimlessly sometimes hitting the cowbell, started many songs and went one verse before veering off into some unrelated jam-zone that meant nothing, and didn't even sing most of his songs--he spoke them!!! The guy is clearly past his sell-by date, and should consider that his fans will remember him best with reference to his past songs and performances, but certainly not based on his current performance. A sad end to a career. This concert should have been titled, "Edgar Winter, with Eric Burdon", not the other way around.

The show was amazing and I don't say that lightly. The band was tight, the arrangements interesting and fresh and Eric Burdon's voice was strong and clear! The mix of classic Animal songs and his new material was perfect.

I grew up listening to Eric Burdon. His music was distinctly his own. For me it was an honor to see someone I consider to be one of the all time greats!

We had a great time reliving our first slow dance music in high school. His vocalizations were so free and soulful that it inspired us to stay true to our youthful yearnings. Wow! He's got to be at least 70. Life is good.

If you saw Eric Burdon 40 years ago and liked the music, blues, then you will love him today. Same sensational songs when you were a teenager with the same great vocals. Keeps you feet moving along with the rest of you. Worth every dime.

Concert started out a little slow and then Eric got his vocal cords warmed up and it was a lot of fun. Forgotten how many great songs the Animals sang. Very nostalgic.

Did not really know what to expect. Wow, the venue was nice. The sound was great. Music did not overpower the vocals. Not a bad seat in the house. Staff was courteous and helpful. Eric Burdon & the Animals were fanatic. We had a great time.

Eric Burdon's voice is soooo broken that it's painful to listen to him try and carry a tune let alone sing! The "Animals" were a GREAT Band and really made the show tolerable.......

Drove 3 hours to attend listining to Eric Burdon and the Anamials greates hits with my wife. Having seen Hermans Hermits the week before i was alittle dissapointed in the change up of the songs. ( i understand wanting to change up a little but he overdid it. 2 songs that need to be tossed - Black Dog and Tribute to Bo Diddlie) Did not perform biggest hits Sky Piolet, SF Night, Bring it on home to me Did not sign autography after show as Peter Noon did. Big Letdown

When he first started singing I thought OH NO what was I thinking , his voice was cracking and this was going downhill. But after a couple of songs he got warmed up and the rest of the show was fabulous. Great mix of his hits with some blues and jazz that had all wanting more.

Great concert performed by The Animals. Perfect venue at Harrah's Tahoe for seeing concerts. Great sound, not a bad seat in the house, Animals music as strong as ever, Eric Burdon's voice sounds like it did when I saw them in the late 60's.

so he's older, we all are now but this guy rocked the South Shore Room. His music was so iconic when I was growing up in the late 60's, and to be able to see them/him today was pretty damn cool. His voice was great, he was quite the performer and put on a great show - he joked with the audience, acted the parts of his song characters, kept the show rolling and had an amazing band (guitar and keyboards especially!!) these guys had the crowd hopping and had fun doing it! I am so glad to have seen and heard him in person after 40+yrs, brings back some great memories. Was sure hoping for a meet/greet afterwards, small enough audience and venue, would have been great to thank him in person for all those years of music.

Charisma, stage presence, and a booming voice just for starters. Opened up with 'Don't Bring Me Down'. I am still singing songs from the concert almost a week later.
