Best show in vegas! And I got a chance to meet him!

Heartfelt and jaw dropping! My second time in a year and this won't be my last. I love him!!

Amazing from the beginning to the end. My families eyes were always wide with amazement and our mouths open in disbelief. Cars disappearing, audience members transformed from the stage to the back of the auditorium in a blink of the eye, real roses appearing from nowhere. Tilles Center was a great venue. There were giant screens and hand held cameras that followed Copperfield from the stage out into the isles where he also performed "magic!" Thank you David Copperfield, you are a true entertainer!

What a show! From the first illusion to the last. David Copperfield is the master. He involved the audience many times and was very funny throughout the show. My kids both loved him and we can't wait until he's back again!

The magic was unspectacular. The choreography poor. ....and when you have a performer so full of himself...you notice these deficiencies!

The show was exciting at times, but mostly slow moving. Copperfield lacked the energy that I have associated with him in the past. Most illusions were fairly basic and easy to figure out. I paid top dollar for the two worst seats in the house. Lower priced tickets would have given me an unobstructed view of the stage.

David Copperfield is the best magician of our time. Its not just the magic, its the entire presentation. He made car appear on stage in front of all of us and made a crowd of people disappear and reappear at the end of the auditorium. The way he engaged the audience was just brilliant. A must see show. Once in a lifetime experience.

I saw David Copperfield for the first time last night and thought he put on a great show. He was funny, very interactive with the audience and of course, what he is able to pull off is totally amazing! I would definitely recommend seeing him if you have the chance.

The illusions David Copperfield performed were outstanding and amazing. He kept me on the edge of my seat, trying to figure out how he performed his spellbinding magic. I only wish the show was longer!

After purchasing tickets for this show, I was a bit apprehensive that it might not be very good, as I read some very negative reviews about David s Las Vegas shows. Many people knock David because he is a narcissist, but I really do not care about that. So, my summary of this show is as follows: You do not get a lot of bang for your buck as a good portion of the show is films clips of past tricks and other media coverage of David, but after seeing the half dozen or so tricks in this show, you simply can t deny that he is among the best magicians/illusionists out there. Some portions of this show were simply outstanding. Perhaps Chris Angel is better at this point in time, but David still has what it takes. Would I pay to see David again? Probably not, but I am glad I went to this show.

2nd time I have seen his show. This time I was in the fourth row instead of further back and I still can't figure out how he pulls it off those tricks. He engages the audience in the illusions and one is more amazing than the next. How he makes a full-sized antique car appear from nowhere is unbelieveable and the bits with the Duck are cute and mystifying. If you want to leave someplace totally entertained and scratching your head for a week this is the show to see.

I went to the show not expecting too much, but I must say, David was fantastic.. It was fun and left us amazed!!

The show was simply amazing. My kids loved it. He has a great personality, really in tune with the audience. The illusions are out of this world - Awestruck!!! I highly recommend this show to people of all ages. Clean, funny, smart, personal, very well done.

He's a bit full of himself, and the show is a bit short. But the guy is amazing, and well worth seing.

There is absolutely no doubt that David Copperfield is an amazing illusionist. A trouble with the performance is that it is designed to appeal to adults and kids simultaneously and doesn't quite pull it off. At the event I saw (attending with three children ages 10 and under), the show started nearly 15 minutes late and began with a video introduction to David Copeprfield that was far too long. According to my watch, David Copperfield did not appear on stage untl 25 minutes after the scheduled start of the performance. Most of the kids (and adults) in the audience were quite antsy by the time the show started. The initial video montage is a bit too adult-oriented (including some swear words) for the kids in the audience. Given that the show I attended started at 5:30 on a weekday, it was clearly designed to attract a young audience versus the 8:30 show which would be expected to attract an older crowd. One easy modification to the show would be simply to have two different video montages depending on whether it is a daytime or evening show. Another slight criticism is that the show also is remarkably similar to the one I saw about half-a-dozen years ago, but that's understandable. Notwithstanding the foregoing, once the illusions began the audience was engrossed. David Copperfield has a nice rapport with the audience and can make some witty off-the-cuff remarks. Having seen his show a few times (over a 20 year span), I still have absolutely no clue as to how the illusions and tricks are performed. It is particularly impressive that this traveling show is able to pull off such amazing feats in venues that vary significantly from one another as opposed to, say, a permanent location in Las Vegas which could presumably accomodate even more amazing illusions with special lighting, staging, etc. Overall, well worth seeing, especially for those who have never seen an illusionist perform live.

You can not take anything away from his talent. The Illusions were magnificent. He appeared out of an empty box on a motorcyle and he made a full size auto appear before your very eyes. His closeup magic was fantastic too. HOWEVER. We (my wife and 2 young children) were dissapointed in the whole production. First off it is NOT meant for young children. In the beginning of the show, they showed a 10 minute film of David Copperfield as pop culture. Clips taken from late night shows and sitcoms included MANY off beat jokes about Copperfileds sexual prowess and him "impregnating" without having sex. There were many children in the audience and this was NOT appropriate for them to hear. It was also a self indulgent film that really was a waste of time. He only really performed illusions for about 1 hour. Not worth $75pp

INCREDIBLE ILLUSIONS WITH MIX OF SILLINESS (COMEDY). SHOW WAS A LITTLE QUICK, JUST SHORT OF 1 1/2 HOURS. FIRST FIVE MINUTES WAS A VIDEO (CELEBRITIES MENTIONING HIS NAME) AND ANOTHER FIVE MINUTE VIDEO ( A LAS VEGAS ILLUSION) AT THE MID POINT OF SHOW. GOOD SHOW BUT AN EXTRA 1/2 HOUR WITH ONE OR TWO MORE ILLUSIONS WOULD HAVE MADE IT A BETTER SHOW.

Copperfield seems to have gotten it down to a science, it contained a bit of everything, audience participation, a heckler, a few laughs, the show also included a bit of personal history with clips, photos and a quaint story about his grandfather. Audience participation played a huge role in this show, audience members were chosen to participate in several illusions. A heckler's suggestion to replay an illusion in slow motion was very entertaining. The show was peppered with small tricks, balanced with larger more impressive displays. Overall nothing less than you would expect of the great David Copperfield. Good show.

An unforgettable show with flash and dash. My family enjoyed it.

I saw David Cooperfield in Atlantic City a few years ago and it was absolutely amazing. It made laugh, cry, it was just a great show! I would recommend seeing him at least once in your lifetime.

An amazing show! It could last a bit longer and less talk and more magic... but it's still amazing! Don't miss it if you're in Vegas!

The magic was indescribably incredible. He made things happen right in front of our eyes. But, the comedy was cheesy. I didn't go for cheesy comedy, so I could have done without that. That being said, the magic was jaw dropping.

David Copperfield was unforgettable!!! He has a way of keeping even the most difficult things to wrap your head around genuine and emotional. Highly recommend!

Great Show!! Gets audience involved. David Copperfield had something for everyone. the magic is most of the show but David did a good job putting stories behind some of the magic which was enjoyable and often funny. We left with smiles on our faces and would see it again.

I thought that the experience would be amazing because I paid almost $300 dlls for 1hr show everything was prepared,the theme was boring He is not like the old times, everything is electronic and many people working doing his show and Do not expect to take pictures they don t let you use your phone

Better than his TV appearances because you experience the illusion in real time. Mr Copperfield is a showman extraordinaire, his facial expressions are timed perfectly, his hands movie gracefully during the illusion, every step is choreographed but looks natural and relaxed. Mr Copperfield goes into the audience several times allowing you a close up view of the illusion. I can see a concert anytime, this is a show!

Waste of time and money. The show was a joke and such a disappointment. The magic was lame and the storyline was corny , topped with an abu dance full of David Copperfield cockiness. I am shocked MGM would still have this show under the venue.

Best show I have ever seen or been part of have to see it twice

He talked to an animatronic alien for half the show! And while there were a couple big tricks, most were like watching and amateur magician. Show lacked the pomp and circumstance you would expect from the best magician in the world on a Las Vegas stage. And then at the end he whispered to people in the front row to stand up and give him a standing ovation. #awkward

This was our third time seeing David Copperfield. Totally new show and better than ever! Las Vegas' best Magic Show by far!

I have never ever been to a wonderful show as David's show. Live the impossible.

David Copperfield is amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed the show.

I don't know if it's because he has 2 to 3 shows a day without a day off, but I felt that David was simply going through the motions and didn't have the same energy in his performance as I've seen him do in the past. There was also a Sci-Fi element that was impressive, but the corresponding storyline was a bit cringworthy.

I watched Copperfield on TV back-in-the-day and loved him. He was extremely easy on the eyes, as well. :) I wanted to take two of my kids (adult boy & girl) to something special & unique to remember on their first visit to LV, so I picked Copperfield. I read a few bad & rude reviews before we left for Vegas, so started to panic that I was making them go to something that was nostalgic to me, but possibly boring to them. Wow - I was way off the mark. They absolutely loved it! Days later, and we're still discussing the mysteries and magic of the show. Simply mind-boggling. Still.

Show was better than expected. It also was very unique and filled with some real surprises. He also added genuine interaction with the audience that left me smiling. Finally, a crazy, mind blowing climax.

Great performance. You will not be disappointed. David brings the entire audience into the magic. Everyone had a great time.

It was so well worth it. Had not seen Copperfield in over 20 years I think. Very creative show. Funny and interactive with audience. Great for all ages and reached far and wide into new realms. Really great.

David Copperfield does fantastic illusions, but his stage presence and energy are not there. Had a hard time hearing him many times. And the story line was sappy. Came away fascinated about the magic but not really entertained. The theater was good. Second row seats had a great view. Wandering in through the smoke filled casino is BAD.

I had second thoughts about my investment in tickets because of so many shady reviews on numerous sites. Regardless, I had the tickets and was hoping for the best, hoping the other reviews were off. Copperfield was a great show! I took my three sons 13, 14, & 15 and they enjoyed it. Don t hesitate to get the tickets. You ll enjoy the experience. It was well worth it. I was warmed by seeing the smiles on the boys faces. Their joy is priceless. The magic was masterful.

Copperfield seemed disinterested and bored. The theme was comical and he should be embarrassed to present this to paying customers

This was one of the best shows I have seen while visiting LAS VEGAS. I highly recommend this show. Copperfielld was entertaining, professional, and funny.

This show was very disappointing. I was expecting some nice magical illusions but instead got and hour and a half of David Copperfield throwing frisbees and balls into the audience, talking too fast and then belittling the audience members for not doing exactly as he said. There is 1 illusion in the show that was a WOW but the rest was just filler and typical at home card/magic tricks. Save your money or see any of the lessor known illusionist on the strip over David Copperfield.

Amazing and great fun. DC moves around the house performing illusions that will leave you shaking your head;moon stage a motorcycle and an old car appear out of thin air, and at the end of the show that huge empty box isn't so empty either. For 90 mins you're away from the world's craziness and into suspended belief, which is a pretty good place to be these days.

Davids show was truly awesome. Like he said on many of his tv specials, "What you see at home is exactly what you would see if you were in the audience". For the longest I thought that people he pulled on stage were in on the illusion or payed actors, but when I was pulled on stage and was part of one of his illusions, I was no longer a skeptic. Bravo David Bravo!!

I was largely disappointed with the show especially given the price of tickets. Perhaps I set my expectations too high but for me there was too much talking and too few illusions. And of those that were performed two were remarkably similar. There was a simple narrative that joined the show together - but there were too many "assistants" on stage and it took away from the mystique of the show because you knew the were "pulling the strings". With a show like this one you want to leave wondering how on earth did he pull that off but it was all a little too obvious. In hindsight I wish I'd gone to a different show.

This is by far the best show I have seen in a long time. His interaction with the audience is unbelievable. LOVE LOVE

Great show! I was amazed by all of his tricks! He does things all around the theatre so any seat is a good seat! I would definitely recommend seeing this show while you are in Vegas!

I've seen David Copperfield on tv many times over the years and found him to be intriguing and like I'm sure many others, thought there had to be a trap door ect...I can honestly say after seeing his show live; even more mind blowing then seeing on tv and as far as I can tell, no trap doors! Thoroughly enjoyed every second of the show and being part of the audience participation was great too! A great end to our trip to Las Vegas after a great long week at our KBIS conference. I'd definately see again!

The show met all my expectations. I watched David Copperfield specials as a child and one of my childhood dreams was to be picked to help, my dream came true when I caught a ball thrown out for people to come on stage for the grand finale!! He made people reappear on the other side of the room and I was blown away, I kept my eye on what was going on and can't explain it. Simply Amazing, he lives up to the name greatest illusionist of our time.

The show was great!! We also got the opportunity to meet him and he was diwn to earth and a very nice person.

OMG David Copperfield is my absolute favorite magician EVERRRR. I loved it sooo much! This has been the 2nd time i've seen him and he still BLOWS. MY. MIND. How does he do it?? He's so awesome and funny and amazing and magical and nice! I loved it!

I am not really into 'magic' as I am skeptical about all this stuff...I prefer to do my own magic in my own real world. Nevertheless for those who are intrigued by this 'hocus pocus' it is a fascinating show.

Absolutely worth the money you pay for the show. We highly recommend the show to all.

The whole show was great , my husband was asked to assist David he was awsome. Unforgettable night. If your going to spend money in Vegas this show is a must.

What a show. We were left with ours jaws dropped several times during the show. How does he do it? Great fun, everyone should see him at least once in their lifetime. The venue was perfect too,not too big not too small. You could see good from all angles. Would recommend like us, seats about in the middle of the theater.

Al I have to say about this performance was: breathless. Even though I was seated on the front row, I wasn't able to see any tricks at all. This man is really incredible and also very funny with a great sense of humor. His show is a must-see to make a vegas trip worthwile.

The David Copperfield show was awesome. He did things on stage that we can not even begin to try to figure out. Love the way he selects audience members for participation.

Not enough words to describe the amazement. Even though we saw it with our own eyes, my wife and I could not believe it. Technically they are illusions but to us it was pure Magic. Thanks for the amazement and true wonder.

The appearance of the 1940's car on stage was an incredible feat! Our seats were row J, which did not allow for appreciation of the effects of the illusions.

I surprised my boyfriend and took him to see David Copperfield. We sat really really close and David was sooo funny we were dying laughing the entire time! My boyfriend loved it. He put on a great show and his magic was astounding and never forgettable. I would recommend anyone to see him atleast once.

If i had realized that there was going to be so much audience participation from the orhcestra level, I would have purchased tickets there. I love the Loge seats for best, overall, view. It was cool when Mr Copperfield made the audience members disappear. When the music stopped, the big silver ball came down on me. The only problem was that it was too large (and slippery) for me to grab it. I tried and it lobbed at some guy below...so I just lost out on the opportunity of a lifetime by not having long enough arms. I guess my mishap made that man's day. That was sort of an interesting experience in itself.

David Copperfield is amazing, the show was good but he seems tired, on remote control. Almost like he s on automatic pilot. He s a gorgeous man, talented, but maybe he is working too hard.

Every trick is just as mind boggling as the last. One unbelievable feat after the other.

The show was hokey, very little magic, seemed to be trying to stretch the 2 hours. Plus we paid $100+ for the tickets and then $85 for 3 drinks, 1 water and 1 popcorn. Felt ripped off!

I have wanted to see this show for some time now. A work conference gave me that opportunity. It was 75 minutes long, which is pretty standard for Las Vegas now. I think prices are a bit steep for that much time. This show was comical in the fact that that majority of chosen participants did not understand English and did not even respond when on stage. David handled it with comedy after awhile. I think that made the awkwardness not so extreme- which was unexpected. The illusions were amazing! The venue was comfortable. I recommend if you have the money and are looking for something out of the ordinary.

Nothing special about his tricks and his personality grated on me. My expectations were high and I left unfulfilled

Very nice intimate show room so you are close to the performance. How he makes large objects (Harley, antique car, space ship and dragon) appear right in front of your eyes defies belief. We paid over $100 per ticket but it was worth it for this once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend this show!

Amazing!! David is a true professional performer, very personable. I was impressed with his interaction with everyone. Would definitely see again and again.

A really captivating performance! Awesome too, seeing it through my 8 and 10 year olds eyes seated next to me. So heartwarming to see the awe and wonder on their faces. A performance we will talk about for years to come, for sure!

David s illusions are spectacular!! A must see... Gotta say though... his overly way too full head of hair (AKA wig, hairpiece) needs a good stylist to thin it out and make it look more natural. I love David and I love President Trump but how can these guys be so filthy rich and be seen in public with such bad hair??

This is the most interactive show in LV. So many audience members were a part of his magic. VIP ticket holders met him and got a free picture taken with him after the show. Highly recommend this show.

Copperfield showed that he is the best magician ever - the show was fantastic and it was a very good combination of the story itself and the magic tricks he showed. It was an emotional and exciting evening.

Too much narrative , missing energy ,too much participation of the audience

I was quite disappointed with the David Copperfield show at the MGM in Las Vegas which I attended on 31st October 2017. Yes, some of the tricks were good but overall the man himself seemed quite bored with it all. There was far too much inane chat and not enough magic. I would not recommend it particularly for the amount the tickets cost.

Good magic, lousy theme. I would recommend people spend their money on other Las Vegas magicians. Copperfield's corny theme was his dead dad, ET from another planet and a dinosaur. It was all very, very strange and drawn out. Half the show was extremely boring! Our group of 8 ALL felt the same. Unless you can get a 2 for 1 deal on tickets or 50% off, I absolutely do not recommend seeing Copperfield.

My wife, 14 year old son, and I saw David Copperfield October 27. The show is kid friendly. The illusion acts he performed lived up to his reputation and history, both in size, grandeur, and coolness. The theater was of the size that every one can see and when something needed to be seen up close, there were camera people all around videoing it and displaying it on large screens. What didn't impress me was his mechanical nature of delivery. Both my wife and I felt that he was going through the motions, like was was getting tired of the show, or of being a showman. He is also condescending to the audience and in his interaction with individuals. At the end of the show, you still shake your head in disbelief at his illusions and what he accomplishes. In that regard, the show met all out expectations.

We enjoyed the show - very entertaining. One thing though, David Copperfield seemed rather bored on stage. I know he s done the show thousands of times and it showed in his attitude. I still enjoyed it though and would recommend it

The show left a lot to be desired. David is getting old and his tricks are turning to be more digital and easy to do if you know a bit or two about technology. Some of his old classic tricks were good but they were far and few. His childhood story was a good start and seemed genuine but he did a cheesy trick at the end that ruined it all.

Dissapointing show, a shame but not all all what we would have expeced. Very predictable.

I would normally balk at the thought of participating in a David Copperfield performance...or any performance for that matter. But this was pure fun and he makes audience involvement a memorable and seriously enjoyable part of the evening. I can't wait to take more friends to this show.

Intimate theater. David has done these shows for a long time but it's still fresh, entertaining and engaging. A must see.

Was really excited to see such a legendary magician but his show was more about a story and fiction and less about magic. Not impressed. In fact, we left the show early.

Get ready to be blown away by magic, any seats have a great view and if there are better seats available staff are very approachable & helpful asking if we'd like to move. Highly recommended.
