The Mega 80's

The main singer was OK. He could do Depeche Mode and INXS well since they're lower voices. He wasn't that great of a vocalist. The girl in the group sang very well. The "speed" round of the different songs was the best part. I loved hearing all of those as well as the images and videos on the screen the whole night. I thoroughly enjoyed all the MTV memories. The Spazmatics in the Cleveland area are WAY better than they are and I can see them for free or a small cover charge around town. The lead singer of the Spazmatics has an excellent voice and actually can sing Journey very well.

We had a group of 6-8 friends that first started off in the private Foundation Room. This was unexpected but very beautiful. It had a dark lit Indian-vibe going on. You could order your drinks at that bar and even food if you wanted. It was reserved for more of a subdued party scene. We later went back to join the concert that was packed. The music was so much fun. That 80's Band did an amazing job with playing all the greatest hits along with showing the music videos on the big screen behind them. We danced the night away and didn't want it to be over.

Great Show as always. This was my third time seeing Mega 80's and plan to keep going as long they keep coming back.

The band was ok. They played the songs well but there weren't many people there. I thought the Dow Events Center in Saginaw was nice but it felt like a wedding reception venue. Glad the tickets were only $10.

They were so much fun!!! Guitarist was amazing! Keep the girl... she is the bomb totally!

Mega 80's is the best band to see! You know every song they play, and it's so much fun! I like how they get the crowd involved too! Great show! You have to see it!

Nice mix of 80s music played. Maybe I missed it and it was marketed as a spoof, but the band doesn't play their instruments... All fake. Singer was backed up by a track. Drummer may have been only one playing. Very cheesy but what do you want for $12 I guess.

Definitely worth a night out. They brought back so many memories. Going again in August.

If you lived in the 80s and love music of all kinds, this is a super fun bonanza on auditory memory lane. My husband and I had a get time. The band is into it and they do a great job covering a wildly diverse music selection.

Id like to see them back in the area more often...Id also like to see them change things up a bit..there 2nd set is always the same....Its really good.. but very short. Id also recommend that the House of Blues keep the place open afterwards....Maybe a DJ playing more 80s....people leave and go elsewhere downtown..why not just stay open and have people stay and party there!

I absolutely love Mega 80s and wish they would come to HOB Cleveland more often! The band is amazing and I love the lost hits of the 80s part. I've seen Mega 80s at least 6 times and always have fun. Thank you for giving me a night away from reality.

These guys always put on a great show, but it was ridiculous to have to wait until after 9:30 for a show to start when it was billed to start at 8:00. Everyone in our group would have preferred to start on time and end earlier!

Non stop fun for over two hours. Prepare to sing to every song they play.

They hit on every aspect of the 80's and sounded like every band they covered from Prince to The Beastie Boys and Salt & Peppa to Metallica! They were energetic, entertaining, included original MTV videos of the songs and costumes of the era. A must see for all 80's lovers!

this was my 4th time seeing them cant wait to go back for a 5th just love the energy and vibe you guys bring each time coming to the @hobcleveland

Would be a way better show if they did complete songs and not so many medley's. It's hard to dance to 20-30 seconds of a song and then switch to another song that may or may not be anything alike. Opening band was pretty good.

I absolutely love this band!! They always seem to put on a great show! I have seen them like 6 times, they never get old! I would highly recommend this band for anyone who loves the 80's and loves to rock n' roll all night!

I was hoping to hear some good 80's music like Michael Jackson, Journey, etc. but I was very disappointed. Not only did the band play a lot of average to sub-par music, they didn't come on stage until 10:30 or so and they took a break immediately after midnight. The Magic Bag was a great venue, but the band was a very disappointing act.

The band put on a great show, but the sound quality/mixing was awful. The bass was so loud that it was distorted and muffled the vocals.

Have seen them before, will pay to see them again. High energy, great stage presence, and musically tight.

THE MEGA 80'S WAS A GREAT PARTY. THE BAND PLAYED CLIPS OF SONGS FOR ABOUT 40 MINUTES THAT HAD THE PLACE JUMPING AND WONDERING IF THEY REMEMBERED THE SONGS. THEY FOLLOWED THAT UP WITH A 25 MINUTES HARD ROCK MUSIC CLIPS, AFTER THEIR BREAK. I ENJOYED THE OUTFITS, FROM THE ATARI SHIRT TO THE PARACHUTE PANTS, THEN AFTER THE BREAK THE LONG HAIR AND THE HEAVY METAL SHIRTS. I FORGOT HOW MUCH I ENJOYED 80'S CONCERTS AND WILL LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING BACK INTO THE CONCERT SCENE.

They played so many great songs and did them well. At times, some of the songs were more of a medley and you felt like you wanted to hear more of one song. But overall, the show was great! And they even played New Kids on the Block! I love that!

Mega 80's is a good band, but they are excellent showmen. The first half of the show was filled with classic 80's songs, one right after another. After a short break, Mega Metal appeared with the complete hair band look. 80's mega ballads flowed from the stage like a raging river of nostalgia. I would definitely go see them again.

The best time ever! Like a high school dance--but fun!!
