All of the bands at MMRBQ were excellent with the exception of STP. Chester Bennington did an OK job, but it was just lacking something in the way of energy. I felt like I was watching a really good STP tribute, rather than the real band. As far as the venue, limited bathrooms and concessions means long lines and waiting....all day long! The lines never subsided! Yes, there were 15,000 people there and it was packed with a lot of drinkers. But, I've been to many other venues for sold out shows (Merriweather Post, Jiffy Lube Live, MetLife Stadium, Bethel Woods, etc.) and they've found ways to accommodate the crowds. Has the Susquehanna Bank Center ever thought of adding some portable beer carts at the back of the lawn or adding some additional bathroom buildings? Looked like they had some space to do that. And after waiting in these long lines all day, beer was warm (each and every time) and food was lousy. Not good enough for what they charge. I found it comical that I waited in line for 10 minutes and then the concession worker tells people..."sorry, the soft pretzels are frozen (just put them in the spinner machine) and the beer is warm." Ummm.....OK....was it a surprise to management that 15,000 people would want food and drinks at this concert?

The bands put on a great show (except Rival Sons who walked off stage). But, the audio sucked; the vocals were drowned out by the instruments for the most part. I couldn't hear Stone Temple Pilots vocals at all. The concession prices are outrageous! $14 for a 24oz beer! I forget what most of the food was, but I'm pretty sure I paid over $20 for chicken tenders, a pretzel and bottle of water. Seriously, a bottle of Aquafina for $4.50!! On a hot day where and the show lasts for 12 hours? I get that you're in business to make money, really I do. But, you can still make a profit on a $4 case of water by charging $1 per bottle.

We bought tickets to celebrate my birthday since my favorite band bush was to play but long after I purchased tickets, just days before the concert I found out they were no longer playing. They were the whole reason we were going and so we didn't even want to go since they weren't going to be there. What a waste of over $100 and a disappointing birthday. I'm glad we noticed they weren't playing before we showed up since mmr didn't do a very good job letting people know of the change. Wish i didn't waste my hard earned money! We won't ever make that mistake again!

Great bands. Sound awful. Only allowing one beer per person is idiotic. I am 57 and got carded every time I bought a beer. $30 for parking. Beer $13 each. Bands were great venue sucks.

The event was great and the bands were all very good. I understand the constraints of the festival type shows, but less bands and a full set from each would be great. Lose the warm-up bands and GA aspect of the show and give bands like Seether through Slash a full set. In this social media world, it confounds me that an event like this, where tweeting is encouraged, that free Wi-Fi is not available. SMH

What a rocking event it was this year!!! Breaking Benjamin, what a comeback!!! STP without Scott, who knew how well Chester would fit right in. Nothing beats Slash and that Myles Kennedy set.

This show was saved by Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, and surprisingly Seether was really good. The opening act The Cold Roses were absolutely awful and not worth listening to ever, The Rival Sons were decent, but due to the lead singer's allergies or whatever was wrong with his voice couldn't finish the set, and Breaking Benjamin should instantly fire their sound person because you couldn't hear anything the lead singer was saying. Then it rained and the show was delayed, for how long I couldn't tell you because even though I really wanted to see Slash and STP, after a long day, questionable wait for the lightning and thunderstorms to pass, and disappointment from half the show, I left...which a great amount of people did as well. Overall, I feel like I wasted my money attending this show, but Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless definitely made me fans of theirs after seeing them.

The energy that rocked the crowd when the Dropkick Murphys took the stage set the tone for a night of superior rocking out. Even though it poured for Zombie, it was worth getting soggy. Rob always puts on an awesome show. i sat in the seating area for the first half of the concert and the sound quality was distorted and hard to listen to, but on lawn, it was perfect. Zombie rocked as usual. He did not bring his monsters though. MMR should have paid him more maybe. First time seeing Volbeat. They were good. Producers of show should have had Dropkick Murpheys in the Jason Bonham slot. I can see a Led Zepplin tribute band anytime. He should stop making money off his dad.

The Headliner should NOT be worried about a curfew! Could've kied an earlier act, and end the festival at 11:00 ( a solid 8 hours), instead of Rob Zombie playing a shorten set. The GA seating went a little too long, and caused "issues", in the Pit. JBE killed, would've like them to go longer.

I missed the 4 solid warmup bands that played from Noon-6pm. Eating crabfries (with cheese) from 6pm-11:30pm while watching Jonathan Davis, Stone Temple Pilots, Ghost, & Alice In Chains was a killer lineup that rocked! Seeing all these bands for under $100 (in actual seats) was 100% worth it. Sure it would have been nice to see longer set times but that doesn't happen at festivals. BB&T was a very comfortable setting despite the cool weather, fog, and drizzle. The only downside was the $40 parking fee which is very expensive compared to other regional Live Nation amphitheaters that offer free parking (PNC, Jones Beach, Oakdale, etc). But the experience of tailgating in the parking lot mitigates that expense.

As usual, the local band was terrible. Radkey was a terrible cringe fest of nerds trying to be edgy. But, The Record Company was the best of the night and killed it! Jonathan Davis was great, STP were good but seemed to be worn out by the end. Ghost was amazing. Alice in Chains sadly were awful. All you could hear was guitar, if I didn't already know the words to the songs then I wouldn't have a clue what they were singing. This was my first time at the MMRBQ and my 4th time at BB&T. The venue is great, lots of drink and food choices including some local favorites though expensive. That said the concert was amazing, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains and Ghost? You can't ask for more, from one to the next it was one great set after another, AIC played tons of tracks like Nutshell and Bleed the Freak, Ghost played 3 new tracks off their upcoming album prequelle, just can't say enough about how great the sets and line up were this year.

The overall event was great. Fantastic bands, good crowd and vibe. Only disappointment was the River Deck upgrade we purchased. It was supposed to come with air conditioned bathrooms and a lounge area and servers for food. We had done the upgrade last year for a concert and enjoyed those perks. Extremely dissatisfied to find out when we arrived at the deck that BBT Pavilion staff was unaware what was promised and had no intention of providing the services. They did have one large porta potty next to the deck for our use, but it was not cleaned / monitored during the event and I wouldn't consider it a perk. Overall very disappointed to have spent over 200 on this.

STP was like watching live karaoke , the new guy Jeff tried so hard to be Scott from the haircut down to the dance moves, but overall they sounded good. The real headliner for the show was Ghost! What a performance, great sound , best of the night. Alice In Chains I wanted to be good so bad and it just didn t even sound like them, guitars sounded out of tune, vocals were mixed so low, it was sad. We always have fun at this concert. For the price and the number of bands, it's hard to not enjoy it. We found the lineup to be very weak in comparison to the last couple of years, which was surprising, since this was MMR's 50th, but it was still entertaining. Would have liked a much longer set from Dorothy - favorite band of the bunch. For a venue, we've always enjoyed BB&T, though it's starting to feel old - the big screens are really lacking in quality and detail (pretty sure I could see every pixel). They definitely need to upgrade their tech. The food and drink vendors are plentiful though, and the seating is good.

We took public Transportation Less then $10 this year:) because of the highway robbery that was $60 for parking last year. We figured that Live nation would try to charge $100 this year. When purchasing an adult beverage Live nation is now charging $14.50-$20 dollars for those. That could put this fantastic musical event that we have now joined and loved for many years, OUT OF REACH for us in the future. The only positive about the venue was that you added Tony Luke's. We enjoyed the best food that we have had in that venue ever. Outstanding cheese steak sandwiches. The greatest part of the day were the bands. Every single band was outstanding. From In the presence of wolves, to Radkey, to Dorthey, to The Record Company, to Johnathan Davis, To Stone Temple Pilots, To Ghost, to Alice and chains all bands were phenomenal. So a great day of music, tickets $49.50 each, $28 for cheese steaks, $281 in beer OMG, a day spent with my Son, PRICELESS. I want to keep going WMMR FIND A NEW VENUE PLEASE.

Despite the rain, we had an awesome time. We were first timers for MMRBQ and honestly, it did not disappoint. The headlines were better than expected and Ghost stole the show. We've been tui BB&T numerous times and it's not the best venue around but it's never a bad experience for us.

I think it was a very cool event. I usually go to more jam band type of shows. But we wanted to see some of the bands that played and we got our best friend tickets for Christmas. I wish I gotten seats though, as it was a long day/night. I tried to get the $25 tickets when they went onsale to no avail. So I ended up with the $35 tickets. Not a big fan of this venue though. I think it would be better at the Mann. But I think we will be back next year. Thank you and keep on rockin!

It was great to see Live back together after 8 years apart, and they put on a fantastic show. The crowd and venue were great as well. Just an overall awesome experience. Thanks MMR!
