Hank Williams III
Born into country music royalty, Hank Williams III follows the beat of a different drum (and banjo and guitar, as well) from both his father and grandfather. While he could be Hank Williams Sr.’s twin, his sound veers more toward gritty honky-tonk meets punk. With Hank3, prepare to get three concerts in one.

My whole life I wanted to see Hank in concert and was even going to go all the way south just to see him. When I found out about his concert up near me, I was completely thrilled. After arriving, it was a sketchy area but when we got inside it was incredible! As soon as Hank came out everyone went wild! It was unbelievable! The most incredible and unforgettable experience of my life! If I could do it all over again I would!

BAD ASS - AS USUAL Hank III plays 3 sets in his shows if you've never been to one. Hank III & The Damn Band play a Country set, then a HellBilly set. After a 5 minute break Hank 3 & AssJack takes the stage for a wild ride...

I loved the show...Small venues are awesome 2 see people like Hank III. He supports all the little guys out there that are trying to make it and all of the fans that love music not frequented on the radios. It was a rockin show and I will not be missing his kick ass sounds!! Anytime he is near us, I will be right there in the middle of the crazed country rebel maddness!! Deffinetly recommed for anyone that likes original country music with some kick ass metal!!

Show was absolutely phenomenal. saw Hank last year at the same venue and it was just as good if not better. Not really a fan of any of his side projects but the country portion of the show is definitely worth the price of admission.

Hank was incredible!!!!! We have nothing but awesome things to say about him, his music & his band. We have been followers of Hank Sr. & Jr., the third is as awesome as Sr.!!!!! What an amazing show & talent. Now some of his fans that's a whole different story!!!!!!!!! 4 people where physically thrown out of the music hall!!!! Lot's of trouble and unruly people. We were there to see a show on "STAGE" not every where else!!!! This won't keep us from doing this again.

Well.......after missing this guy the last few times being in the area, I thought this had to be the time to finally see this guy in action. I'm 55 and have had Hank Sr in my head since I was a little guy, why my family knew Ramblin Lou and his family when he owned WJJL a small radio station in Niagara Falls, he would play a Hank Sr for me on my birthdays over the air. Growing up, especially after he had the mountain accident, I became a big fan of Jr's. Now I'm a big fan of III's. I was introduced to his work 5-6 years ago and MAN when I heard his first country tune I just knew he had it. Tuesday night was no exception, he was awesome for me. The venue was a real nice place and security was good even had a well lit street that never once made me worry about the H-D. What i really liked was how he did his show with the honky tonk first and the hell billy next then his time with his persona of Assjack.....now this music is a little out there even for me we called it an evening after 4-5 tunes of this Metal. I could see why the fans of this genre likes this but not my cup of tea and this is where his fan were .....shall we say really obnoxious but like III said on stage if you don't want to bump and get touched or react like the fans of this persona did then get the hell out of the middle of the crowd. All and All I loved the show and anyone who remembers or are fans of the Sr you can almost, with a bit of imagination be transported to 1952. I hope the pressures of being a grandson of one hell of a legend and looking and sounding like him doesn't bring him the grief it did his father. I would highly recommend if you haven't seen this guy, to try to see him next time. Even you metal fans out there don't know what your missing. One word for the Grand Old Opry ....reinstate Hank Sr.!!!

This was the 4th time I've seen 3, each show is better than the last. 3 hours of high energy rebel country and hard hitting rock. If you've ever considered seeing 3 and Assjack live, you will not be disappointed!

i have always really enjoyed hanks music so i was excited to finally see him live. i even convinced some co-workers that never heard of him to go. i was very disappointed however in all of the confederate flags it seemed like such a big part of the whole thing, not to mention all of the people throwing up the Nazi salute. i really loved his music but don't even listen to it anymore because of the bad taste it left in my mouth.

As always one of the best shows I've seen! I even talked my 48year old boss into going. He had a great time along with everyone else! Kyle Turly's band was also good! Now go help Hank sr. Get the RESPECT! He deserves!

Cant ask for a better show. 2 nights back to back in two cities and destroyed both venues. Hank and the damn band are unforgettable. From start to finish it is relentless HANK. From the country to the hellbilly and Assjack you will never find a better show. Even the opener Turley was an awesome act. Great down to earth people at both shows. Dont ever miss a chance to see Hank III live. THREE BARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

This concert was GREAT!! The Ogden is a wonderful venue for this type of show. The seating and accoustics make it a "intimate feeling" venue without compromising the bands ability to rock the crowd.

I'm gonna start by saying that I love Hank III. This is my 2nd time seeing this show and he doesn't disappoint. I have to say that when the focus suddenly changed direction from hip country to scremo metal I was jarred to say the least. I was not a fan of that at all. Overall though, the show was amazing, Hank is a fabulous rock star and Kyle Turley was great!! Death metal, not so much.

Ive been to over 50 concerts in my 9 years of going to shows, HANK III/ASSJACK has left the deepest impression. They love their fans and they love to rock. You can feel the emotion and dedication pouring from the speakers, and they totally rip it up for hours until you feel like your ears are bleeding.
