The Lorrie Morgan Concert at the Belterra Park Gaming on Friday, August 14, 2015 was one of the best and superb concerts that I have attended...Lorrie has such great talent... I've seen her at least 30 times and she keeps getting better and better. The show was nearly 2 hours long and was not a bad seat in the concert. we were able to get tickets and sit on the front row. Great songs and great performance. Enjoyed hear the classics plus her brand new song - Jesus and Hairspray.... Enjoyed listening to her son, Jesse Keith Whitley and his wife, Ashlee Hewitt. The Slam Band 2 was one of the best bands ever.... Keep the concerts coming.

Lorrie and Pam have great synergy - they balance each other very nicely. The harmony was great - back-up was fabulous. The fiddle player and the lead guitar were outstanding they were so in synch with each other you might think it was not live.

Lorrie Morgan was very good, didnt care for the first band. We were upset at the DRUNK lady that sat at the bar in the furry white and vest that kept tripping over us, we was at one of the round tables next to the bar. We saw a few people move because of her.

I loved Lorrie Morgan, she was great. Her singing of course is wonderful but her stage presents is great too. She also had a great band and the back-up singers great too. The show was up close and personal, you could actually see her and the whole show from your seat. For a good cause as well.

Lorrie did a fantastic job! The opening act was terrible and I would NEVER recommend seeing THEM again, but she looked and sounded great, and even interjected a bit of fun into her show. The venue she was at was ok, but they definitely need a new sound system! Other than that, it was great! We had a wonderful time!!

What a slam when you go to see a performer and they present a show that slams the Star Spangle Banner.....and lasts like an hour. So dissappointed. Got tickets for my husband's Birthday and he ask me not to do that again......very poor. Will not recommend.

Tickets to the show were comp'd so it's hard to find fault with it. Not sure I would have paid the $30 per ticket to see this and probably glad that I didn't. Lorrie was a fine enough entertainer, but we would have like to hear her sing her few hit songs in their entirety - she only sang the first minute or so of each and then quickly moved on to the Christmas show. We enjoyed her patter with the audience and the different folksy stories she told. I would have enjoyed it more if she sang some traditional Christmas songs rather than some deep tracks from her old Christmas albums. Ave Maria was well performed, but really a slow going number that seemed to chase some of the crowd out the door. Her band was adequate and the sound system at the Allegany Events Center was only fair. Overall a nice way to spend 90 minutes at a casino.

Lorrie Morgan's x mas show in Salamanca was delightful. An outstanding band accompanied Lorrie and blended their voices in outstanding harmony. I have enjoyed Lorrie's music for many years and was awarded the pleasure of a great Country Christmas program. This event made me realize what a true quality voice she has. The inclusion of Salamanca native, Ray Evans song "Silver Bells" was great.

Lori was as beautiful and could sing bettert than she did 20 years ago! The set was beautiful and the sound was great. Even the chairs were comfortable. We sat near the back but could still see everything clearly. She mixed in a few of her classics with the Christmas songs.

Lorrie Morgan has the most incredible voice, and wonderful personality! She even took the time to sign autographs, and meet with everyone after her show. She is truly one of the remaining artists that are truly grateful to their fans! Her Christmas music brought tears to our eyes. Do not miss this amazing artist if you have the opportunity to see her!

The sound system needs. Improving. At first the band was too loud. I could barely hear Lori's voice above their noise. Then when Lori sang loud without the band the microphone distorted her words. Other than the sound system the concert was ok. Hard to enjoy music when the sound system is poor though...I didn't care to have the spotlights shining in my eyes either when a few were turned on into the audience. Concert was a disappointment.

We attended Lorrie's first show at Seneca and loved her and the performance. We drove 3 hours to get there just for that purpose. We attend a lot of dinner shows, go to Vegas, and were affiliated with doing our own shows for many years. Here is our critique (since you asked) - even though it was a Christmas show, we would have liked to hear a few more of her songs, or a few medleys of her hits. The audience around us was really hoping for an encore performance of one of her big hits. Also - a big issue was there was no introduction! What? She just walked out and started singing. Felt weird. Mentioning that, I think the audience was also confused at the ending because there was no encore but yet the house lights didn't come on. First show confusion? Overall, like I said, she sang just as beautiful as always. Personal preference, would have liked a few more upbeat songs, even Christmas songs that were a little jazzier - felt like a lot of ballads. All easy fixes, because she looked beautiful and has a gorgeous voice! Really, I'd come back and especially if her and Pam Tillis were there together. Sounds like a fun show. Casino and their personnel was terrific. We'll be back.

You expect the same vigor and vitality of when a star is at the top. But, as they age the vitality and energy of the show usually diminishes and this is true of Lorrie's show too. She still has the voice, reminisces to acquaint the audience with her background, but the energy of younger years is gone. I would have liked a few more of her songs that made her a "big" star.

It's ashamed more people didn't show up because it was a very nice evening. This was my first time seeing Lorrie Morgan in person. The show started about 5 minutes late because the management invited all those sitting in the back and on lawn seats to move up front and fill in the empties. I thought that was a very classy act and nice move on the part of Mable-House Barnes. This was just about what I expected and was hoping for. The "no shows" missed a great concert. It really is nice to see entertainers Lorrie & Jese who stick around after the show for a "meet & greet" with the fans. You don't see that so much anymore. She sang some new stuff and some old. She had fun playing around with the audience. She still sings great and looks great too! I had a wonderful time enjoying some Popeye's spicy chicken with red beans & rice, a biscuit and listening to Lorrie. That was one really nice evening. We had her all to ourselves. If you weren't there you missed an excellent show.

We enjoyed the show. A very good turnout. I was a bit put off by the prices of items for sale and the lack of a good selection of CDs by both singers. We subsequently saw LeAnn Rimes in Tucson, AZ, and she put on a much better show, in my opinion. I'd see her again in a heartbeat.

They are wonderful together, and the venue is terrific. The acoustics were also great. The only criticism is that Lorrie should sing "Me Without You" which is one of her best and perhaps the show could have been at least 15-30 minutes longer since there were 2 of them. Also, they should give the selling of merchandise after the show plugs a rest. They are both wonderful, well appreciated talents and should mention that they would be available in the lobby after the show at which time a complete line of merchandise would be available--ONCE. They are far too classy to appear to be hawking goods. All in all it was a great show. They should keep touring together.

This concert was very upbeat and fun! We thought Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis would come out and sing individually, and when they came onstage together and started to sing, we were pleasantly surprised. Their voices really complement each other. And their fiddle player was awesome! The only thing that would have made this concert nicer would have been a larger screen so we could see them better.

Although both performers are excellent artists and the sound was beautiful I was very disappointed in both the length of time of the concert ( 1 1/2 hours in total) and the variety of songs performed. Both these ladies had so many top hits they did not perform. This was the fastest concert I have ever attended and would not bother seeing them again.

We have enjoyed Ms. Morgan's music for many years. The chance to see her in person was something we had to do. She said early on that she was having sinus and throat trouble, but all my ears heard was a beautiful voice backed up by a great band. She sang her greatest hits, some old classic country songs and some new stuff too. The bass player totally blew me away with his solo performance. The guy can PLAAAAAAYYYYY! It was a fantastic evening, filled with great music, and she came out after the show and signed autographs for everyone that stood in line. Truly a class act. Her son, Jesse came out and sang a couple of songs. He sounds just like his father, Keith Whitley, which is a pretty good thing. (I sing a lot like my father, which is NOT a good thing LOL). He has a lot of talent and I hope he has a nice long career in his future. I was second to last in line for autographs and Lorrie and her son, Jesse, broke out into song while he strummed his guitar. This happened just 3 feet away from me, no microphones or amps, just two voices and a guitar. A very special moment for me. There is a star rating above with 5 being the maximum. I'd give the performance 6 stars, but gave the venue 4 stars because of the uncomfortable folding chairs jammed as close together as possible.

What can I say, Penn's Peak is a great venue and always has great shows. Lori had a bit of a cold and her voice was a little off BUT she's an exceptional entertainer and did a wonderful job of entertaining everyone. Her son came on to help her out with a few numbers of his own and then he later closed the show with her on a few more tunes. The band was very talented also so on a 1 to 10 I have to give it a 9.9. She did autographs after the show and said she would stay till everyone who wanted one got one and although we did not stay due to the long drive home I'm sure that everyone who did stay got an autograph and to tell her great job.

The show was a great one even though it started off a little rocky. It became clear from what she shared with us that she was suffering from a head cold, but in spite of that, the show was amazing. My wife has long wanted to see a Lorrie Morgan concert. This turned out to be an almost ideal time and place to do so. The venue was perfect. The crowd was small--perhaps too small for the theatre's best interest--but enthusiastic without going overboard. The performer seemed to respond to the circumstances and related well with the audience. Due to the venue dimensions, this was an acoustical performance, which I really appreciate in terms of being able to more completely enjoy the songs themselves. It is probably not financially feasible to only play such venues, but it sure makes for a better concert experience. I will only add that the performer had the perfect balance of hits and some new material. She also signed autographs as long as the line lasted, a hallmark of someone from the "old school."

My sister, mother, boyfriend and myself went to see Lorrie at The Ritz theater and she was amazing. Loved the smaller intimate concert. We got to see a lot of her personality and she is a very funny lady. She kept us entertained from start to finish. Loved hearing her play her older stuff and look forward to getting to know her newer stuff. I was however very disappoint in the Ritz Theater. We had 2nd row seats and ended up a few rows back due to the theater told everyone at the door it's first come first serve. If that waa the case why did I pay $30.00 extra to insure my seats?? I was pisses but my mom told me not to cause a seen. Now to clear up I am not a child, I'm 38, but I respect my mother. I will never go to another concert at the Ritz!!

This show was what I expected -- Lorrie doing her Christmas and Holiday songs, with a few other hits sprinkled in. Her voice is so perfect for certain songs, especially Ave Maria, and she sang better as the show moved to the end. (I think she was fighting a cold.) What I didn't expect was her great sense of humor and conversation with the crowd. She has a sassy quality that was much needed with this low-energy crowd. It felt like I was the youngest one there (I know that my daughters were) and I'm 62. The supporting cast provided excellent instrumentation and vocals. Due to the small venue, the show was toned down a bit (limited visual effects, no videos, etc.), but that was offset by the intimacy gained by feeling so close to the stage. Bottom line, we got our money's worth.

I had seen Lorrie Morgan before, but in a more formal auditorium setting. This intimate setting at Birchmere was perfect. There was no bad seat in the house. Lorrie Morgan is a true country class act! Her vocals are perfection. Her performance and beauty are flawless. She always tells stories that make you laugh, but they also make you realize just how real and genuine she is. Her voice is breathtaking, just truly amazing! Listening to her sing goes right to my heart, always moves me. She sang a song that was not her own, completely off the cuff (something someone mentioned) without her band and it just took your breath away. She knows how to relate to her audience and makes sure everyone has a great time. She does a variety of new, old and always something special that you didn't expect. She stays true to her country and opry roots. She always gives an amazing performance, always entertaining and always a great time. Lorrie never disappoints, you're always glad you went.
