We had a great time. Hours of nonstop fun. The acts were amazing and the kids loved every minute if it! Before the show and during intermission, they allow you to go onto the floor and rides animals and other things. Honestly, the animal rides are ridiculously priced. $20 per person for a like 2 min elephant ride. Way too pricey. Camel and pony rides $10 per person. It seems like they just get on and are already getting off. Waste of $. The show however was definitely worth the $ spent!

This was by far waaaaay better than last year's show. We had great seats and my daughter had a ball! She was asked to come down to the floor twice! She is still talking about that experience! I did however hear that the animals won't be a part of the show next year. I'm hoping that's not true. What's a circus without the animals?

The new attractions were well received by the entire audience. The shriners always put on a well organized show. It's a great family event to attend.

The circus was not a good as previous years. disappointing. Too much of the ladies and the ropes. Not enough circus type attractions. Disappointing finale too. The lights were right in our eyes. There were alot of acts that messed up as well.

The older I get the younger I feel, I took my daughter who's 16 and heard but Dad I'm too old for this. she loved it, as did I. I see many events year round, from concerts to shows/dance. but it's good to get out and smile again. It was fun for all ages, kids especially love the animals. it may not be the greatest thrill on earth any more, but it's way up there. Go ahead, let your hair down be a kid again, plus and this is a big plus, the profits go for the kids. shriners are awesome!

Last night was the third time I have taken my family of 2 girls and my wife to the circus. The show was great with the new acts making the repetition of the old acts a pleasant addition. Other than a few issues the performers had, (hoop falling and breaking with first performance and motorcycle circle not working on last performance) the show was great. I will never be a fan of gouging people of their money to have their kid sit on a pony or elephant for one minute, but its the circus and the shriners have to make their money so grampas have things to do in retirement. The only truly negative thing was that the music played before the show was very distasteful for a children's event. The song, "Back that Ass up" followed by "I'm too Sexy" by Right Said Fred should not be played with a crowd that is over 50% kids. How about some Highschool Musical or even the Shrek Soundtrack. Thanks for the opportunity to send some input.

Last time was much better! Not enough with the elephants, and many problems that inturn made the show a lot shorter. There also was hardly any clowns.

I took my girlfriend to the circus yesterday. There were some incredible acts, that I will in no time soon, be forgetting. The ladies that twirled around in the white sheets were amazing. The sheepdogs were super entertaining... They were so excited to be there... There were however, a few kinks that needed working out. I suppose since it was the first night, it was to be expected. They can't do everything perfectly every time, i'm sure... they were all very talented and were giving their all. i could tell. besides the few malfunctions, i though overall, it was a great show and i was very entertained. my girlfriend loved it as well

I took my 5 year old son and we had a fantastic time. It was action packed and full of beautiful colors. There were a few things that didn't go as planned for them, but it was the opening night and it kind of added to the excitement and the reality of it being a live performance. I would strongly suggest taking your family. We will definitely go back again in the future.

It has been 20+ years since my last time seeing the TSC, and it hasn't changed. I know the circus is the circus, but the show has not evolved, many props are shaggy, and quite a few performances were called off or just didn't go off smooth. Maybe I'm a little critical as my 5 year old did enjoy the show and that is what matters most, but I have been "tainted" by Cirque du Soleil and that level of show is a touch unfair to compare to. Overall it was a fine event, but won't suggest it at the VIP level, as I would expect more for 3 people and $200 later. At general addmision rates the show is a good night out and more reasonable for the event.

Worth the price of admission for adults and kids alike but the show is really for young kids. Notably lacking in troops of clowns or a tight-rope act.

The circus itself was fine, would have liked to have seen more animals. All the extra picture taking etc, is getting to be a bit much and very expensive. The vendors frequenting the aisles during the show is very distracting.

I love the circus and this one is exciting and fun to watch. It is wonderful that the Shriners offer so many discounts for children so that families can attend. The kids are fun to watch as they are thrilled or amazed by the various acts. My only concern is that the circus company spends so much effort and time marketing very overpriced toys and souvenirs that it is stressful for parents who likely are not able to afford the toy comfortably. It is one of the ways the circus company makes money, but it takes away from the experience.

The skills where poor at best, all attractions ran short, but for some Chicago street gymnastics that ran long and is not why we went to the circus. we left before intermission. This circus looked like it was a third world country recruitment. Save your money take your kids to a movie.

The fact that you could not use credit for things like memorabilia is severely disappointing. The age that we live in now, vendors should be able to more than accommodate people using cards (swipers even come on cell phones now). This shows a lack of progression. My child left the circus with no memorbila due to prehistoric ways that the circus handles business. There was a group of women in the circus, I do not recall the group name but they were so unsyncrinized that I was embarassed for them. Not worth the money.

it h as been a long time since I have been to a three ring circus. I am 45 years old and live in Upper Michigan. we don't have a lot of opportunities to see a larger circus. I have two children of my own 5 and 15 they are both girls. we also took a teenage friend. I am pleased to say that the entire family was well entertained. it's also nice to know that the Shrine Circus changes up the Acts every few years. the circus still finishes with a bang which was also very nice to see. it's not until you're an adult that you realize how crazy getting shot out of a cannon really is. take your family of the circus you're sure to be entertained.

I was very disappointed with the circus. The show lacked the basics. Very few clowns, the atmosphere was terrible. The acts showed no zest for performing. This will be the last time I spend my money to see the shrine circus. BTW. Your pricing yourself out of family affordability. $15.00 for an elephant ride. $8.00 for Pony ride. $15.00 for light you. Before I sat down I spent $120.00 for Tixs. $46,00 on rides. $15.00 on souvenir. That's $161.00 before I reach my seat. Then another $40.00 for food. Sorry. Not happening again!

The circus was great I enjoyed the performance . Was looking for more at the end. I was looking for affordable coloring books and food prices. I enjoy that Mexican dancers was great at dancing .but what needs to be better is that prices.need to be low so they make more of their profit .and the glow lights need to be free for kids to have . Their should be more animals and more acrobats and talent shows from children.

Every year we take the kids to see the Shrine Circus and it seems to just get better and better. The 2015 production is this circus' strongest performance we seen in memory. Acts from all over the world, super funny clown, excellent tiger act, dare devils galore and many talented cast. Truly a family event, our group ranged from 4 to 46 and we all had a great time. Excellent value on ticket prices especially when you think how much it must cost to bring this much live entertainment to one show. Well done!

Not what I remember!! Did not enjoy this very much, and neither did my 4 year old and my 3 year old. Seems that they were more interested in selling me something, Light, stuffed animal, rides than entertaining the crowd. The acts that were there were as good as a half time act at a basketball game. Nothing was intriguing enough or gave me the WOW feeling.

So enjoyed the circus with my family. It had different acts than a few years ago. The circus staples were still there: tigers, trapeze, elephants, dog tricks, etc. Enjoyed the new additions: many gymnasts with varied skills. The man in the canon & the motorcyclists were my family's favorite. I only noted one area which could use improvement & that is the lighting dept. Many times the spotlight was not on the performance person or it was delayed. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our circus experience.

Have gone to the Shrine circus in the past and have always enjoyed it. This year's circus was newly released and thought that the changes mainly targeted a younger crowd than in the past which was great for our 2.5yr old, but 8yr old was a little board at times. Although we thought the tiger act and elephants were much better than in the past. Overall we all enjoyed it very much and would go again.

The event was good, however, I didn't realize how much cash was needed to ride the elephants, ponies, camels or to participate in the bounce house. I wish credit card was an option. Perhaps I missed it in the advertisement, but it would have been good to have the costs published or to state that it was cash only.

This was an awesome show! My almost 3 year old daughter was entertained the entire time! It was a great outing for us! BUT.. It was long, it starts with an hour and a half show followed by what was suppose to be a 'short' intermission.. I guess short to them means about an hour- basically extra time to make you spend a bunch of extra money and then that's followed by the rest of the show.. About 30 minutes. But overall, I'd highly recommend this! Bring some extra cash and just enjoy! I know we did!

Each year my family goes to the Shrine Circus for my son's birthday and each year we purchase tickets for up front (between 1st & 5th row). Every year we have a great time, the kids are entertained and dazzled by the performers and I thuroughly enjoy myself as well. This year was no exception for the most part. The kids loved the motor cycles in the sphere, the human cannon ball, and the performing dogs. What we did not enjoy however was the skantilly clad girls as their dancing routines. They came out between performances and danced wearing close to nothing. One time they dressed like they were from a French brothel and danced to moulin rouge......I'm left wondering what happened to the clowns? At no point prior to going to the show did any of my children say "gee mom I sure hope they have dancing skanks at the circus." He did however talk about the funny clowns as the cool animals. All in all we did however have a good time, but if the performance continues to go down hill I most definitely will not be spending almost $200 on tickets. For that much $ (not to mention the cost of junky plastic toys, rides at intermission, and concessions) we could go do a vast variety of other fun activities and not have a wholesome family evening infiltrated with smut......also tip to the shrine circus producer....if you are looking for ways to entertain parents, which is what I am assuming you we're attempting with the "go go dancers" why not try some comedy. Comedy is just as cheap to come by and if you keep it PG it won't diminish the value or reputation of your circus. Just look at Disney and Pixar if you need examples. They put adult jokes in movies that kids still think are funny but don't truly understand the real meaning.

We took our 3 yr old grandson to the circus Sunday at 10:30am & we had a great time! (we took him last year but he was kind of afraid of everything & tired out before it was over) This year he rode a pony-had a hot dog, sno-cone & popcorn-really was into the show, lasted the whole time-clapping for all the acts-really liked the motorcycle guys, only afraid of the clowns(sorry clowns, nothing against you). Of course as soon as we got back home he wanted to "make" a circus at our house!! Only thing I was disappointed about-wish there would have been more animal acts!! missed the colorful ponies they had last year! And the woman announcing the acts had such an irritating voice-really gave a person a headache!!

The circus was a great event. My grandkids love every second of it. We had good seats and really enjoyed the performances, especially the human cannon ball and the bike jumpers. The only thing is that the kid's toys and some food items were a little pricey. I felt in this economy they could have been a little cheaper. For example, $4 for the small cotton candy, $12 for a light up wand (which stopped working when we got home), and $5 for a sno-cone which turned out to be colored ice was too expensive.

Although any circus is fun, this one left me a bit disappointed. The human cannon ball was not there, as advertised on Tripoli's website. No trapeze artisits? No tightrope walker? What's a circus without those things. Also VERY few clowns. There were some high points for sure but over all this circus was not as enjoyable as ones I've seen in years past. I wouldn't spend 100.00 dollars to take my family again. Maybe if I got coupons for buy one get one free it might be worth another trip to the tripoli shrine circus. My kids had more fun at the zoo and much cheaper!

Great memories created for us and our 4 year old by Spiderman, clown with the "elephant" dog and all the animal acts. Going to the circus is an item that was on my 14 year old son's bucket list. I saw by chance a billboard that the circus was coming to Milwaukee in 6 days. I bought tickets online - they were the best seats we could have asked for. There was a lot going on - probably too much at once for young kids. But my son and I LOVED it. It is a lot different taking a 14 year old then a 4 year old (which we have done in the past).

My kids weren't real impressed sadly. My 4 year asked several times if we could go home. There were a couple of good acts that my kids liked (human cannonball, funny puppy, and motorcycles )but that was it. It was a waste of money and it cost us over $100 to go with facility fees and parking. It felt like it was just a money grab. Obviously you expect that you'll buy some popcorn and cotton candy but the whole thing was pressure to buy, buy, buy. Intermission was the same with them pushing to buy tickets for elephant rides and bounce houses. At one point they even announced to the children that they shouldn't leave without their parents buying them light up toys. It was sad really. My kids were really looking forward to the show.

It was definitely a circus trying to get into the event. Everyone was packed into one place that didn't move. And, the price! The Buy 1 Get 1 so called "deal" is a BIG ripoff. With all of the fees, one ticket cost us $26. It definitely wasn't worth the money!!!

The kids really enjoyed it as they had never been to a circus before. For me, it was average. Some performers were better than others. No horses, but had tigers, camels, elephants and dogs. Camel and tiger show had many animals--- maybe to many. Elephants and dogs were fun to watch. Liked the jump rope and motocross acts, as well as the trapeze and human cannon. Lots of extraneous sales going on, so be prepared.

Its an ok show, I think the prices are too high which might account for the arena being maybe half full. The prices of riding the animals; elephants, ponies and camels was also double what you would pay at the zoo.

Took my granddaughter for her 1st birthday and she was wide eyed the whole time, she was really excited over the motorcross. I got to smile the whole time, differently was worth the time and money.

My wife and I went to the circus two years ago and really enjoyed it. This year, the act was very different, and not in a good way. Two of the entertainers we enjoyed two years ago were no longer part of the act, instead they were replaced with jump ropers and dancers. For the prices they charge for tickets, food ($9 for chips with cheese!!!), and riding the animals during the intermission, we were expecting much more!!!

All of the acts were exciting and so full amazing colors and costumes. The music was fun & energetic. My son especially loved the preparty event before the show & the elephant ride during the intermission. I recommend getting there early to buy all the animal ride tickets in advance so at intermission you can get right in line for the ride since there is only a short time for intermission & the lines were crazy long for both the ticket booth & the rides. It was a great time for us & I recommend this show to all families!!!

We were extremely disappointed with the experience we had at the circus with our family. There were only 3 acts that included animals, there was nothing for trapezes for high wires. The inflatable people dancing in the middle of the show was awkward to watch and a waste of time. The acts were slow, they were not engaging enough to even keep my attention. And, for the cost of the tickets, we did not get our money's worth. We won't be back.

The ushers were terrible. We had floor seats and had to ask 4 different people until one could tell us how to get to the seats. The circus itself was fair. No horses. How can you have a circus without horses. Too much dancing and filler acts. No high wire act. Just a lot of hanging on ropes and twirling. Next time, save your money and wait for Ringling Bros.

I understand that the Shriners raise money for children, but this was rediculous. The entire first half of the show was a sales pitch. My 4 year old wanted to leave at the intermission because he was bored, and we had to beg him to stay. The second half was better, but I will never go again.

It was great! The party before, for rides and stuff was a lot of fun. The show was amazing. I took my 8 year old daughter who has been to this circus before and my 3 year old son who enjoyed it immensely. Everything was exciting and fun and non-stop. My only problem was that the acts aren't set up so that everyone gets a good view. I know that you can't possibly see everything, but it would've been nice if they would've had some facing each way....

Took my kids to the circus on Saturday. My boyfriend and his son also joined us. It was their first time and boy was it memorable! They were just as crazy about the old tricks like dancing elephants and trained tigers as they were about the motorcycles and the Chicago Boys! And the finale with the man blown from the cannon? Three words...Oh...My...God! Loved it! Can't wait to go again next year! :)

This was so much more than I expected! They started with the bangle tigers, that's how great it was. I don't want to ruin any surprises but young and old will LOVE it. So worth the money. We were in section 322 and had a perfect view. Our group was 42, 39, and 24 years old. We ALL loved it.

It was an ok time. The all new and improved acts were disappointing. Some of the acts - like the girls dancing and balancing acts were too long. They did not always utilize all 3 rings for some of the smaller acts. I think that would have made it more enjoyable. More circus like.... Over all as an adult I was disappointed. My grandchildren (ages 4 & 7) had a good time.

It was NOT that great. I felt like some of the acts were cheap and didn't impress me. JUMPING ROPE, REALLY? You could tell one or two of the acrobats on the swings and rope were struggling. Some of the acts went on too long. It just wasn't what I remembered as a kid and 30 dollars for an elephant ride is RIDICULOUS. It felt like a cheap performance to me. Very sad. Won't be going again. And some of it felt weird, especially the music.

This was not as good as previous years. No trapeze and minimal clowns. Those are things that make up a circus in my opinion. I guess I wish my kids could have the same experience with the circus that I did as a child. I've been going to the Shrine Circus since I was a child and it's just gone downhill over the years. But this is from an adult perspective. My kids enjoyed themselves and I suppose that's all that really matters.

I'll say first off that the entertainment was very good and they had a lot of different things to do and see so at face value, it was a very good event. That being said, I brought my 3.5 year old who wasn't able to hang for the I've 3 hour show. It is better suited for much older children - say 7-9 year olds because the attention span of my kid wasn't enough to handle such a long event. And let's not overlook at at every turn, there are booths with overpriced toys, candy services that will eat your money quicker than you make it. And if that want bad enough, they have venders coming up and down the aisles constantly. I can even deal with that but the shameless thin was that they'd actually turn off the lights announce for the kids to show off the toys that they bought (or should have bought). They guilted kids and parents into buying things and continually pushed the swag and rides. A 30 second elephant ride is $15 by the way. Anyway, bottom line, bring your older kids and $100 if you want to enjoy the circus.

The circus was OK but not what I was expecting. It has been years and years since I have gone to a Circus and I guess I was expecting more old school stuff. There was a lion tamer but he was boring and the lions moved like they were on drugs (although it was still dangerous for the tamer and the lions were trained well) There was no High wire act but they did have some people swinging on aerial swings but they never left their swing and a couple people doing the rope swinging gymnastic stuff....It takes a lot of skill to do that, but it would have been more exciting to me if they did the old style acrobatic swing and high wire stuff. They had some trained Camels, again, it takes a lot of effort to train an animal to do something but non the less it was kind of boring... I mean what do you really think a Camel can do? There was also some dogs that jumped through hoops if you like that, and some Elephants. They had some floor acrobats that were very good. 2 groups of them and a guy that was shot out of a canon. I guess the most exciting thing in the show was the motorcycle guys that did their jumps and little moves in the air. Nothing you haven't seen hundreds of times before in other events, but non the less daring. Well that's my take on the Circus in addition to paying $95 for 3 tickets and the usual unreal prices for something to eat or drink, it was a very costly day that wasn't all that exciting. However it was different for me so I shouldn't complain too much. It takes talent to do what all the performers did, it just didn't happen to be what I was thinking a Circus was going to be.

My wife and I took 6 grandchildren and their parents to the circus. Ages 2 - 9 and none had ever been to a circus. They all had a great time and were constantly agog at all that was happening. The 2 year old kept saying he was going to the circus again tomorrow. The various animal rides before, after and during intermission were expensive as were drinks, food and souvenirs.

This circus was terrible and not worth the money spent. My child was even disinterested in the acts and she typically sits at the edge of her seat with excitement! The Chicago Boys were the best act and the audience came back alive! This circus is definitely off the list for next year.

The first half of the show was long and didn't flow smoothly from one act to another act. After the intermission things flowed a little bit smoother together with the show.
