Parrots of the Caribbean - a Salute To Jimmy Buffett

The food and drink were a lot better than the actual show. I'm sure Jimmy Buffet would have been embarrassed. Maybe it would have done better in an outside venue. Don't get me wrong, I love the Rialto. It is just too classy of a place for this type of cover band.

What a delightful event. The band was awesome and very entertaining. Would love to see them again.

The show was good, although it would have been nice to have actual seats. I didn't realize we would be standing the whole time.

The band played some not so popular songs. Plus the lead acted out the words which was wierd. There were no chairs so standing only.

Parrots was a fun night out. I thought it might have been a little schlocky at first, but I was wrong. Been to a few JB concerts, and I will say this band did a great cover! Will definitely try to see them again.

This is one of the best concerts I have ever been to. The party atmosphere and good music do not disappoint. If you have not experienced it you are missing out!

Our first time attending this event. Easy free parking, friendly staff lovely setting. Band was good. Plenty of good quality and quantity food and drink. A fun trip to Margaritaville in February.

POTC was much better than 2 yrs ago. Please don't get me wrong, the show was good to 2 yrs ago, but this show was great. Loved when he was dressed like Jimmy! Awesome, drummer, organist and guiters. Was a bit disappointed with venue, 2 yrs ago they had frozen margarita, but not this year. And the food, was I recall was better 2 yrs ago. They really need to get more tall tables to put your drinks on. Preconcert tables and chairs very limited.

The evening was fun. The show so so. The singer sang the songs well. He was hard to watch with all his moves. Would be much better show if he would calm down. But the night was fun. The audience was borning at best. We stood to fins and were asked to sit down. Really it was not a symphony!!! Really lets have fun people. Life is way to short!

We arrived in time for the tailgate party. This was overall a fun experience. We enjoyed the people watching and the crazy outfits. The beach balls being tossed throughout the night added to the audience interaction. There was plenty to drink and you could refill anytime and take it into the theatre to enjoy the concert. We did not think the band was particularly great, with the exception of the drummer! We found it difficult to hear the singer over the music. It was a nice break from winter cabin fever. If you like a conga line led by a shark and a parrot, you should definitely attend the next one.

We had a great time at the Parrots Of The Caribbean! It was my first " Buffet Tribute" and I had a blast. The band was fun and energetic, where can you go for 5 hours and have so much fun!

The package deal was nice. Good food, good drinks and a fun "tailgate" atmosphere. I was disappointed with the band. I could have lived with the poor/weak decorations but the captain Stubing outfit and the poor quality of music, we ended up leaving at intermission. Not to mention the number of times he kicked his foot up in the air. We made it a drinking game and I'm sure his leg was probably sore the next day! Lame!

No complaints, the show was a nice winter diversion. They sounded very similar to Buffett. The free drinks and appetizers were great! Brought a virgin Buffet couple and they are now fans!

The pre-party was great! There were frozen margaritas, dos XX beer, and plenty of finger food. The DJ was entertaining and the costume contest was fun. The band was good. It wasn't exceptional but good!

Outstanding concert.....couldn't sit down.....dancing in the isles all night. Continuous conga line!! Would totally buy tickets for the next concert and worth the money! I highly recommend this. Performers were so energetic and sang great Jimmy Buffet tunes........Jimmy would be proud!!!

First time to see this show. It was amazing! Having the tailgate party before the show was pure genius and something really needed for this time of the year. Show was great. Would definitely go see it again.

The whole evening was Great! ALL inclusive made the night! The band was good, singer was animated and active, plays a good harmonica too.

Would have given 0 stars if possible. The band was absolutely terrible. They were billed as "The Country's #1 Buffet Tribute Band" and nothing could be further from the truth. We've seen better bar or garage bands. We've seen Buffet at least a dozen times. This band doesn't come close and didn't even play many Buffet songs. Many people left half way through the show. No wonder the show wasn't sold out. Their reputation must have preceeded them. That said, the Rialto did a very nice job on the tailgate party and that we enjoyed. It was the only saving grace of the evening.

loved it. Hubby and i are huge fans of Jimmy buffett and the potc were absolutely comparable. The "tailgate" party was fun... Don't expect it to be exactly like the real thing. It was high energy, conga lines, flip flops and margaritas. What more could a parrothead dream of during February in Chicago. Highly recommend. Can't wait until next year.

I BOUGHT THESE TICKETS FOR MY DAUGHTER AND SON IN LAW FOR XMAS...THEY SAID IT WAS AWESOME...THEY HAD A GREAT TIME AND I THINK NEXT TIME THEY COME I WILL BE GETTING TICKETS ALSO

You would've thought you were listening to Jimmy Buffett himself. Very fun, entertaining, and extremely worth the money.

Parrots of the Caribbean were awesome. at first, i thought, oh no, they look so old! however, these guys are great! the drummer was outstanding, and alll of the guys were excellent. i love the lead singer...he not only sounded like "Buffett", you could tell he really loves what he does...and NOT SO OLD after all...it was just his first outfit. the theatre was beautiful and we could not believe the tailgate party! what a deal! great fun. our ages range from 22 to 68 years...we ALL had a great time

My husband and I have seen Jimmy Buffett live several times and are considered Parrotheads, so when we landed tickets to the Parrots of the Caibbean we were both very skeptical. As soon as we heard the first song we knew that our money and time were well-spent! If you closed your eyes you could swear that Bubba was in the house! The show was upbeat, fun and the party atmosphere was great! It was also a pleasure seeing so many families enjoying Jimmy's music at an affordable rate! The weather was there and they were beautiful! Be sure to catch the Parrots if they land near you!

The Rialto held a huge luau with fun for all! Included in the ticket price were a pre-concert party, leis, appetizers, margaritas and beer. Not ever having attended a Jimmy Buffet concert, I can't comment on the music of Parrots of the Caribbean. However, it seemed that the-Hawaiian shirted parrot-heads had a great time forming conga-lines and singing along!

Friends who had gone to this a few years ago invited us to join them. Didn't know what to expect. First, the band was awesome! The are really good and totally embraced the unique fun, light-hearted spirit that you would expect from Jimmy Buffet, himself. Second, everyone who came also embraced that same state of mind. Third, the Rialto is absolutely beautiful, and there truly isn't a bad seat in the house. Fourth, the value for your dollar was unbelievable: all your food, beverages including alcohol, and the band for one great price! We definitely will be back next year!

Band was excellent!! Tons of fun. Sounded just like Jimmy Buffett. Their original songs were very good. If you get a chance to see Parrots of the Caribbean....go for it!!!!!

Had a great time. The food was more than excepted. The drinks wonderful. The music rocked. Thanks for a good time.

Fun atmosphere (always feel comfortable at the Rialto). The caterers were on the ball and the food was above average. The beverages were easy to get to and service was once again above average in courtesy and friendliness. The musicians were very good but the singer, although he sang well should have a professional re-choreograph his amateur moves and dump the overdone costumes he wore. Coconut bra.........funny. Fish sticking out of your clothes..........tacky.

My group had a ball! Hope this is an annual event to help us parrot heads make it through a long cold winter.

A VERY ENJOYABLE Evening!!! I never expected such good, and plentiful FOOD! and the show was FABULOUS!!! They did a great job representing Jimmy Buffett. There were times he appeared to be him...I look forward to returning for the next show. and it was well-worth the cost of the ticket...
