Grease Toronto

The show was brilliant and the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto was beautiful. We went to the show when Michelle Williams was the guest and she was great too. The show closely followed the movie script and all the actors were fab.

It was a fantastic production! The costumes and set design were well done and I especially liked the high energy that the cast kept throughout the entire show. It was a good mix of new and old songs and much of the audience enjoyed singing along to the well known songs. Overall, everything was great!

Great show! Great cast! Enjoyed immensely. Would see again!!!!

They changed the history, scenes order and of course the main actress don get even close to Olivia Newton John charm...

Poor acting and outdated comments about women and gays makes this a poor choice. Some time capsules should remain buried.

The production was very amateur, which was particularly surprising and disappointing given the high ticket price.

Went to Grease for my mom's birthday with a bunch of family. Thought we had amazing seats ... front row mezzanine. Should be an obstructed view warning because of the height and diameter of the brass rail in front of us -- blocked half the stage (my advice - sit a row or two above). Also, BOTH main characters were replaced that evening shifting the entire cast to different roles. Rizzo was the only decent one.

The Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Center is stunning and this performance of Grease is also. Toe tapping music - actually I really wanted to be on the stage dancing and singing with them all. The solos were powerfully done. The sets were really great ... everything was seamlessly put together. What a blast !!

Great show in a unique setting. Theatre is small enough that every seat is fantastic. Grease is one of those shows that by now you know all the songs by memory. Enthusiastic cast made for a fun evening.

I love musicals, and I must say this was the best musical I have ever seen! The cast was amazing, the story was amazing, and the venue was amazing. I would definitely recommend to everyone!

Grease was so fun to watch with my parents! Grease is cherished in my family, so this was a must see with them! The venue, however, was so-so. The seats were small and uncomfortable and the bathroom lines were always long. I was expecting the theatre to be in better condition.

Took the ladies of my family to see the show and we were not disappointed! The directors did a phenomenal job in casting and choosing how they wanted to tell this classic story. I loved how they allowed all the actors to shine and didn t just focus on Sandy and Danny, because everyone was so incredibly talented! Loved it!
