I have actually seen Pink Floyd, as well as Roger Waters and David Gilmour on their solo tours. I love Pink Floyd, always have and always will. I have even seen Aussie Floyd and Brit Floyd, so it was a no brainer to give "Bricks in the Wall" a look. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. They had an impressive laser show and some scenes on their backdrop that were either directly from Pink Floyd shows or very reminiscent of them. The back up girl singers performed extremely well, including "Great Gig in the Sky" which requires tremendous skill to sing. The band played a great selection of Floyd classics, including some from the Syd Barret era. My only regret was that they never sang "Money". But the songs that they did sing were very well performed. One thing that I REALLY loved is that they didn't just try to mimic the songs from the Album. They put a little of themselves into the performance as well, and it showed. The band member who provided a lot of the singing stood on stage, lit a cigar and sang "Have a Cigar". He had some attitude in his rendition that I think played very well into the song.

Awesome show -- played over 2 hours -- At certain points in the set I was lost in the moment. They know their stuff and play really well together - Ladies have fantastic voices - Took my 12 yr. old since this is as close as your going to get to the real. - They did not play Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict.....which would have been a trip......no pun intended

This is a great show. We saw them last year and dropped what we were doing to see them again. Most of the time you would think you were listening to Pink Floyd. They put on a great show and I would recommend this band to all. Bring them back House of Blues - Houston.

What a performance!!! not to many tribute bands make the cut but this show was on the mark. you cold have just watched the laser show and you would have swore you were listening to a live Pulse album track. Can not wait to see them again when they come back to Houston.

The instrumental performances of the songs were perfect. The merging of the music with the lasers, lighting and video displays was flawless and precisely coordinated. The background vocals by Cara, April, and Dawn as well as the male background vocals were awesome. Most of the lead vocal performances were very good. Overall an outstanding show I would highly recommend.

This is the second time I have seen Bricks In The Wall. Both shows were outstanding. I have seen Pink Floyd in concert and this band sounds so close to the real thing. They have all the pieces to play all of Pink Floyd's songs. Female vocalists, saxophone, incredible guitar, keyboards, and drums. Highly recommend!

We've heard this band play many times and they just get better and better with each performance. They are incredibly skilled musicians who stay true to Pink Floyd's music. We are enchanted from beginning to end, not only with the music, but with the artful video clips and the beautifully orchestrated lighting.

These guys never disappoint. I've seen them four times. They do some really deep cuts (Dogs, Astronomy Domine), which is an incredible treat for real PF fans like me. But they also do plenty of the songs even radio listeners will know, plus almost all of Dark Side. These guys know how to play. And the backup singers are great. I'll definitely continue to see Bricks play. BTW, they come on stage and play for quite a while, so don't be "fashionably" late. You'll miss some great stuff.

I've seen these guys like 5 times. I'm never completely disappointed, but the last couple of shows have been disappointing just a little. The show back in February was a downstairs only show, meaning you're on your feet the whole time jockeying for views over the 8' tall dude in front of you. That wasn't the big deal, what bothered me was the bassist either had a blown speaker or it was over-modulated to the point of annoyance. Other than that I was happy. This time, the volume on the rhythm guitar for the first 2/3rds of the show was insufficient. So whenever he did a solo I found myself struggling to hear his notes. What's the board-man doing, shouldn't he be controlling the balance of the instruments? I was happy they finally opened the balcony up for seating so I can not worry about blowing out a knee. I'm not 18 anymore so I appreciate a little comfort on occasion. I also liked the fact that they toned down the politics that you see in some of the other shows and showed returning service members reuniting with families, a heartwarming surprise. We already know that Bush lied, people died, and Maggie Thatcher was evil....blah blah blah! Overall, it is really good! Not Brit Floyd good but good enough for me to go enjoy the show every time they come. I might even get a t-shirt one of these days. :)

I thought I was a Pink Floyd fan, but I found out I really only know a few of the songs they played. The band sounded great and played for over two hours, but it just wasn't my thing. The others with me enjoyed it. Beware and be prepared for a pat down, purse emptying, metal wand, looking in your cigarette pack search to get into the House of Blues...No one in the line was happy about that. It seemed a bit excessive and two guys sitting by me lit up as soon as the concert started.

While The Sight and Sound of Pink Floyd played excellent music, the venue left a lot to be desired. Being a Pink Floyd fan, the music did the group justice and for the price I would highly recommend. The venue was mostly standing room only and quite small. We were packed in like sardines. Parking in the area was also expensive.

The sound was so distorted and the singing was so bad, even the most classic Pink Floyd songs were hard to recognize. Easily one of the worst cover bands I've ever seen.

Bricks in the Wall offers an excellent look at what a Pink Floyd concert must have been like. They pull out all the tricks to get the sound, lights, video and sound effects to match the real thing. The only issue I had with the most recent show is that the Bass guitar was too loud often drowning out a lot of the other sound coming from the stage. I've been at the House of Blues Dallas before and their sound does often leave something to be desired, but I really think it was just the Bass tonight that was distracting from an otherwise outstanding effort.

Saw this great Floyd tribute for the 4th time last Saturday night. They always put on a great show. I can t really say more than I have said in previous reviews about them. It s an incredible show and production every time. Video, lasers, recreating the Floyd sound with such precision, it blows me away every time. They play the hits, classics, rare ones and give you something from all eras of Floyd. I would say the vocals are about 75-80% spot on of the real voices, which is good, but the music is 100%, and with all the different effects Floyd has I don t see how they do it so well. They played 90 minutes, then played DSOTM in start to finish then came back for a 3 song encore. Brilliant show!! A solid 2 ½ hours of music with no intermission. This show has more lasers than I had ever seen them use before. I always love seeing them at the House of Blues. This time is I sat on the 2nd row in the balcony. The best 25.00 value for a gig you can find! If this band is in your area or when they play again in Dallas, they are a must for all Pink Floyd fans! Five-piece band with 3 backup singers. Awesome musicians... So much more than a cover band. The crowd got really into the show, too. They had a video screen for the visually bored in the audience. The lasers were underwhelming but that didn't matter.

It was busy night for the concert business Saturday night in Dallas Texas. It was too hot and humid to go sit through Journey at the local shed. J-lo was playing the AAC (the big arena) but she was too $$$$. MartyR found a show that was just right and that was the incredible Dallas-based Pink Floyd tribute band Bricks in the in Wall. Cheaply priced and in the comfortable House of Blues. BITW are a band that plays gigs in southwest area. They are 6-man band with 3 female back-up singers and top notch production. The amount of equipment they cram on stage is impressive. A video screen and lasers recreate the Floyd experience. Often they even fly a pig, but I was told that helium is in short supply right now. I don t know if that s a joke or the truth. The band recreates the Floyd sound with astounding precision. These guys can all play well. The 2nd guitarist and the keyboard player have the best voices, but they all take turns on vocals. The lead guitarist might have the weakest voice, but his Gilmour solos are played note for note. On one of the press releases it says he was Gilmour s teacher. I don t know what that means or for how long but he sure can play. Over 1000 people attended the show. That s more than I saw at the House of Blues for Deep Purple, Halford, or Pat Benatar. As I said, the show lacked the flying pig, they didn t put up part of the stage set that I have seen, and they seem to use the lasers a little less often but they played 2hours and 45 minutes with no break. The longest I have ever seen them play. It was an incredible set list with all eras of Floyd represented. BITW normally play the HOB 2 times a year and I can t wait to see this band again. The Australian Pink Floyd tribute band hits Dallas next month, and I have always wanted to see them, but I like paying 15 bucks over the $60 they cost. I am sure they are great, but Bricks in the Wall a value that Floyd fans shouldn t pass up if they play your area. I love Pink Floyd and was totally disappointed. The band kept having technical issues and quite frankly was not all that great. We left after four songs because it was so boring! I would also not recommend eating at the House of Blues in Houston, TX either! I bought the dinner package (DO NOT BUY IT), and they would not use it towards our drinks. It did not state anywhere on the website that it could not be used towards drinks and so I basically threw my money away! The service was horrible and slow, and the food was okay at best.

From start to finish Bricks in the Wall entertains!! This band is comprised of talented musicians and vocalists who NAIL the Pink Floyd experience, from the music, to the laser light show to the video. And during the playing of Animals (40th anniversary tribute), the giant inflated pig made a reappearance! The size of the audience lets you know how great this band is. How many cover bands can fill a venue like House of Blues? We've been fans for years, and the audience gets larger with each performance. That says everything. You have a lot of fans, Bricks! I was disappointed in the way they sounded. The laser show was good, and the background images were just like the ones Pink Floyd used in their concert many years ago, but the sound was just not right. I didn't care for the duet style of the song Mother and thought the female vocalist singing her part sounded more like a Disney princess than a rock singer. Totally ruined the song for me. I prefer Brit Floyd as a cover band.

I've seen the 2 major touring tributes; and though not as polished, this Dallas-based band blows them away. I consider Animals a vastly underrated album and you can tell Bricks in the Wall does too. Pigs was spot on this time and last year they actually performed the album in its entirety. I was 7 years old so obviously didn't see them when the Floyd brought the "In the Flesh" tour to Tarrant County Convention Center, but I would wager that 1977 was the last time that happened.

The Floyd have NOTHING on these guys!!! Absolutely AMAZING show!!! I have seen The Floyd LIVE before and these guys are them reincarnated!! During the concert I closed my eyes and felt as if The Floyd was playing there in front of me. The final "nail in the coffin" was when not one but ALL THREE LADIES sang the female solo part on the one song from the Dark Side of the Moon. MAN CAN THESE LADIES BELT IT OUT!!! And the whole band actually looked like they were having a blast, were having fun, were enjoying themselves and actually liked each other and being around each other!!!! Being in business for 17 years, this says a lot about the members!!! 2 HOURS & 45 MINUTES of non-stop FLOYD!!! This was my first time to see them and anytime they are here in Dallas and my schedule allows I WILL GO TO SEE THEM!!! Last Friday night I was all set to go see Dennis Deyoung when I got the notice that he had postponed his show due to illness. No big deal I just headed to the House of Blues to catch the incredible Bricks in The Wall, my favorite tribute band of all time. This was my 5th time to see them. I am not sure what to say that I have not said before. They are always magnificent. It s not just the special effects, like the video and the lasers, it s the sound!! They recreate the Floyd sound note for note. It was 2 hour and 40 minute gig covering all eras of the Floyd catalogue including a song from Endless River. I am a hardcore Floyd fan so to have this band play a Dallas a few times of year is a treat! Tickets were 25 bucks, a steal for this show. I watched the first few songs from the floor then moved to my seat n balcony. While my seat was on the top row I noticed one of the private boxes was empty, so I opened the door and walked in and watched the rest of the concert in the privacy of my own box. The only bad thing about a Bricks in the Wall show is when it s over. I could watch this band play 4 or 5 hours. I can t wait to see them a 6th time!! My husband is a huge Pink Floyd fan... that being said he was underwhelmed by the show. It was o.k. but he was just not impressed nor was I. If you really need a Pink Floyd fix and since they are not a group any more, this one is o.k., but too bad you can't hear the real group any more because this one is sorely lacking. I was NOT impressed by the band member smoking a cigarette on stage since it is a closed in area, I am allergic and it is banned in those spaces. Very rude. The songs drug on forever too ... they were very long and every song just sounded like a continuation of the next so it basically sounded like one song all night long.

This is an Awesome Band for a tribute to Pink Floyd music. They we on the money with all their hits. The laser show was added feature with the concert. It was a great 2 1/2 hour concert. Will see them again! These guys and gals played straight through for 2 1/2 hours without a break. Never lost the audience Great backup vocals ladies. Each band member had their particular solo during the show and nailed it with the songs played. The Hard Rock in Biloxi, Ms. needs to pick up on this event. They would sound even better with their setup. The allowance of cigarettes smoking was the only bad issue. House of Blues New Orleans doesn't normally allow cigarettes within the concerts area. They did for this concert for some reason. Its just too small an area without exhaust to allow.
