Amazing and incredible not so silent night! I enjoyed all the music but especially at the end with the headliner -the killers! It was a very well packed event, with all great bands from walk the moon, foster the people, Weaser, and ended with a big BANG with the Killers! They are so amazing I would definitely come back for more performances like this one. Great on getting all the bands together to perform night, money well spent. I think we converted couple more to Victims of the Killers.

Every band totally "Brought it", the stage shows were very engaging, the energy was off the chart. An amazing show from beginning to end! The only thing I would complain about would be the cost to park - $40! Outrageous!

Another great Not So Silent Night put on by Live 105!!! This radio station hosts the best concerts and festivals in the Bay Area and this year's NSSN did not disappoint. 6 hours of top music with minimal time between acts as the rotating stage made transitions quick and seamless! I highly recommend this and any concert Live 105 puts their name behind!

Great show and has become a tradition for my family. The line up was great with the exception of the Smashing Pumpkins, we left half way through their set. All the other bands were awesome! And we are looking forward to next year!

To tell you the truth, I was disappointed. I went to NSSN last year and it was incredible!! Lots of songs to dance to. This year, I could tell people wanted to dance (including me) but the dance rhythm just wasn't there.

The vip was awesome with private entance and full bar and private bathrooms. The parking pass was also better than regular parking. Only complaint is that seats for the vip section were obstructed by the stage equipment. Fortunately there were some open seats near us that we could move to so we could see the show.

Overall great night with a few fixable issues. I was surprised the Pavillion wasn't packed -- such an awesome line up! Broken Bells gained some new fans -- yeah! The Black Keys ROCKED the house playing mostly older stuff--gutsy! The sound needed to be turned up on My Chemical Romance's lead singer--couldn't hear a word. And Billy Corgan needed to turn things down a tad (what connection did the spinning pinwheels/snowflakes have to his music?) Other than that, everyone played the songs people know; I liked the fact the stadium wasn't too packed; and I would go again next year if the lineup is just as HOT! Nicely done!

Not So Silent Night last night left a lot to be desired. I went because I really like My Chemical Romance and Broken Bells, and I'd always wanted to see Smashing Pumpkins live. The other bands in the line-up were Black Keys and Phoenix. I suppose part of the issue is the night before the event, I got an email from Live105 stating that everything had been moved down an hour so the show was going to start at 6, instead of 7. This wouldn't be a problem, except that this was on a Friday night in Downtown San Jose at the peak of rush hour, and we were coming from Fremont. Also, the one band I really wanted to see was first onstage. Because of the traffic on 680, we ended up missing Broken Bells. I managed to catch the final 10 seconds of their performance from the outside of the venue. Once inside, the view was pretty good; we were up in the tier closest to the stage. The Quick n' Dirty Reviews Black Keys While I'm not a huge fan of their music, it's reasonably well-done and bluesy. I have to give them props for being the only blues band on an alternative radio station. The trouble with this band and, indeed, all the other bands at the show, is the sound quality was terrible. Whoever ran the sound needs a serious flogging with Roman whips; the kind with the metal tips at the ends of the thongs. It was difficult to tell which song was which because the distortion was so rampant. I could kind of make out their one big hit on the radio, but most frustrating was I couldn't make out any words because the vocals were too low. Phoenix It's clear the teen-aged girls think the lead singer is cute, but I have to use the one word I don't want to use here. This band SUCKS. Again, the sound quality was atrocious, which wasn't the fault of the band, but the flat notes and the off-key singing was like having someone chew aluminum foil at you. I have to give these guys some credit for acting as if they were the headlining act. They did *try*. But. . .they sucked horribly. Their performance was bad enough to prompt me to send a text to the radio station to let them know Phoenix was making my ears bleed. My Chemical Romance They made the best of a bad situation better than any of the other bands. They overcame amazing handicaps to put on a good show. It was clear the lead singer was not happy, but he was enthusiastic until the very end. The songs did feel rushed, and because the sound was so muddy on the vocals it was hard to tell what he was singing. They powered through Na Na Na, which I'm sure was a contractual obligation for the show. The Black Parade was recognizable, and he put on a great performance in spite of the poor sound quality. Teenagers was a fun anthem, as well. Smashing Pumpkins I'm glad I put up with all of the frustrations of a poor sounding show, because the Pumpkins rocked the house. It was clear that Billy Corgan was not happy about something. My guess is the poor sound quality, coupled with the possibility that he was told what to play, and having to wait until 10:30 to start, that this just put him into a foul mood. The rest of the band seemed checked out in terms of their facial expression, but their body mechanics and their playing were fantastic. They were real pros making the best of a bad situation. I might be biased because I really do like this band, but I can't help thinking they were the highlight of the show. A day later, I felt disappointed. There were a lot of good songs and interesting melodies that I couldn't hear during the show. I don't think I'll take it for granted when I go to shows that are well produced and sound great. Recent examples include: Roger Waters: The Wall, The Cure, Silversun Pickups, Blondie, B-52's, and Muse. My lesson is learned. The next time I want to see a particular band, I will simply get tickets to see Just Them. I would not go to another Not So Silent Night.

Phoenix was amazing. there is no doubt that they alone were worth the money. Smashing Pumpkins was okay, but they were at the very end and played for a really long time, so it became monotonous for me. The rest of the bands were great and I would go again.

We bought the tickets to see Broken Bells, and then the line-up was changed to 30 minutes earlier, so that after leaving work early, and sitting in traffic for two hours, we missed all but one song of their show, but it was great! I was very disappointed to miss most of their show as I had so been looking forward to it. They are so talented and I now want to go see Broken Bells wherever they play in 2011! We stuck around for The Black Keys, also very good, and Phoenix, who put on a great show. But My Chemical Romance? Oh lord, we left after two songs. I would gladly sit in traffic for two hours to see Broken Bells. I would love to see The Black Keys again and Phoenix rocks. Bring them back without My Chemical Romance, and I'll pay up.

Loved the line-up and was really looking forward to hearing some great music. The bands that I saw did not disappoint - Smashing Pumpkins, My Chemical Romance, Phoenix, and most of The Black Keys. All the bands had great energy and although Billy Corgan was a bit hoarse (and may have lost some of his upper range?) I still loved him. Technically, the crews did a great job setting up each new band and their equipment quickly. What was disappointing was the last-minute change (day before) of the show start time from 7pm to 6pm, which meant I missed the local band, Broken Bells (whom I did not catch at the Fox and really wanted to see), and the beginning of The Black Keys as I couldn't make last-minute changes to my schedule to accommodate the earlier start time. I was surprised and disappointed that the significant extra money I spent on VIP tickets landed me and my guest with a mostly obscured view. Watched most of the performances on a screen to my side, which took away from the experience and was also limited (you only see what/whom the cameraman is focused on from moment to moment). Despite loving the bands, I would be unlikely to attend future NSSNs.

This is my third or fourth NSSN. This by far was the best venue. We always buy the floor tickets to get the best views and sound from the show. Last year at oracle we had to use a separate entrance and could not go to the upper levels during the show. This year it was perfect, we could freely move around the stadium and if we needed a rest there were plenty of places to grab a seat! If I'm paying $70 a ticket that's what I want, the best of both. Floor access and seats. Apart from the venue. I thought the opener Finish Ticket performed very well, they had a quick technical malfunction and took it in stride. Broken Bells warmed up the crowd and the Black Keys really rocked! Phoenix really did it up, they were great. I was actually surprised by MCR the only played a couple new songs, lots of older stuff, I really enjoyed them. Smashing Pumpkins are back!

Are you kidding me??? changing the time of a concert for a FRIDAY NIGHT!! I bought the tickets to see the black keys weeks ago, and because of the start time changing saw... NOTHING. I just bought your tickets to see them and you all ruined it. I will not be coming to more of these events!! I didn't have enough time to rearrange m schedule for this last minute change. And yes I know, they say it in the fine print that they have the right to change the times and blah blah blah, but who starts a friday night concert at 6??? seriously, they are not taking the fans into consideration at all.

While the line up was great, the $150 VIP seats in section 116 didn't have a few of the stage. All you could see was the speakers/light system. Everyone keep moving their seats over to the right, trying to find an open seat with a view of the stage. What a waste of money. Never fall for the VIP seats!

Are you kidding! You could hear a pin drop on the ground it was so quite. You need to rename the show because there is no comparison to NSSN. This is an insult. If you bringing out Green Day, find bands that will match and then you can call it NSSN. Or you can have them play the entire show which they can do it. I am 59 years old and I found the show to be so mellow I could have fallen asleep. Until Green Day, the most exciting part of the show was the sing along to Queen's song as an introduction to Green Day.

Jimmy Eat World was wonderful. Did a great rendition of Last Christmas. Empire of the Sun was more flash than substance. Too much emphasis on the set and production, than on the music. blink-182 was their usual non-stop energetic performance. Well worth the price of admission.

Not So Silent Night on Friday offered a mix of music and was a very good evening. The Strumbellas, Capital Cities, Glass Animals, Empire of the Sun and Blink 182. My Aussie friend and I came specifically for Empire of the Sun. Their set was incredibly staged but seemed kind of lost by the audience. We did not stay for Blink 182. For me though the night's best performance was by GLASS ANIMALS. They were amazing.

GREEN DAY absolutely tore up the Oracle Arena on Saturday with an energetic performance that capped two nights of Not So Silent Night 2016. Live 105.3 put on two great evenings with a variety of musical types. BASTILLE preceded Green Day with another amazing performance. Head and a Heart we heard from the bar area of the club level and they sounded very good. We missed all of the other opening acts.

The Concert was fantastic. The venue was freezing cold, but I was located on the top tier. All the bands played great. Green Day stood out Billie Joe brought audience members on stage and one lucky boy got to play and keep the guitar. Amazing show. I won't miss another one.

Most of the bands were good and of course Green Day did not disappoint. I wish they would have played even more. Getting in and out of the event was a breeze but I wish parking didn't cost as much as my ticket! My one complaint was the amount of time between each band. The concert could have been shorter if there was less waiting time in between each one.

This was the perfect opportunity to take my son to his first concert. He's 13 and Green Day is one of his all-time favorite bands. He freaking loved it. I thought the 4 opening acts were OK - I probably like Phantogram the best. Not trashing these bands but there is a WIDE gap between them and the headliner. Green Day did not disappoint, they were phenomenal as usual. The highlight of the evening was Billie Joe's heartfelt speech about the horrific loss of life at Ghost Ship. Reminding us that the Bay Area must continue to embrace all the weirdos and freaks. Then the entire arena singing along to Boulevard of Broken Dreams was mind numbingly amazing.

The show was amazing. Green day was awesome live! The venue itself was what I had an issue with. The guards were (for the most part) were rather rude, parking was $40 which is ridiculous since its basically your only option, they don't let cars in until 2 hours before the show, but they let literally everyone else (walking in, dropping off, ubers) in so people that have been waiting for hours to park are bumped way back in the line. I feel like if I'm paying that much more parking, I should get to park there all day! They also rushed everyone out as soon as the show was over, which I thought was rude. I understand its late and they have a job to do, but I had lost a jacket in the crowd and wanted to see if I could find it but I was being physically pushed back by security. Plus, people like to wait for the set list and other small things after a concert. I just thought it was rude for such a pricey show. The actual venue that it was in was nice, they didn't overfill the GA area. It was just their practices that bothered me.

I will never forget this show. Billy Joe Armstrong is one of the coolest rock star's in history! His energy is electric! When he pulled the kid up on stage to play guitar with them, then kept the kid up there for a second song and gave him the guitar! Talk about an awesome thing to be witness to. The other groups were good too. I have not been a huge fan of Bastille and wondered why they were billed with Punk gods, but after the show, I can say that while I may not rush out and buy their album, Bastille was great. Very talented.

The opening acts minus The Strumbrellas and Jimmy Eat World were awful. I've been to Not So Silent Night in the past and had such high hopes for the line up. Why in the world would techno be part of a Live 105 lineup? The commentators were not funny and the very limited videos Live 105 put up on the screen in between bands were unimpressive. There was zero Live 105 promotion or merchandise. Zero items thrown into the crowd while waiting for bands to take the stage and nothing for the crowds entertainment. We waited 5 hours for Blink 182 to take the stage and literally stood in the center of the pit without moving the entire time. It would have been nice to have the hosts have some crowd interaction during the wait! Boo on Live 105!

Every single band that played night two was amazing. I'm was delighted to see so many people arrive early to see The Neighborhood and Bastille. Both were excellent and were the bands I wanted to see the most. Poor Lorde had a sound hick-up but got back on track. The Phoenix show was the hit for me. Everyone in the audience knew the songs and it was one big sing along. I hope they loved that too. I loved seeing all the bands but starting the headliner at 11:00 is a little late.

Night One: I missed the opener (Our Vinyl Vows) because I was running late. Two Door Cinema Club was awesome. I maybe have hear one of their songs prior to this night; but now I can say I'm definitely a fan! The Gaslight Anthem was pretty cool. Unfortunately the sound was a little reverb-y so some of their songs sounded not so great. Of Monsters and Men was fantastic!!! Really wish I could have seen an entire concert of just them! The sound was great. I danced my butt off! They really are a well composed and talented group! Metric was completely awesome! Even though they didn't have their equipment, they rocked their acoustic set! She really has a beautiful voice! The Shins were magical in their sound and presentation. Mr. Jack White! ... What else can I say, I'm in love with him! He played a little bit of everything from the White Stripes, The Raconteurs and his solo music. I sang and danced and was completely happy with his set list! Night two: Again I missed the opening act (Jingle Punx). Imagine Dragons has such great energy! Loved their "drum" circle! Grouplove! Ah, I wish I got a whole concert of just them as well! I loved their cover of "Dance with Somebody". I danced their entire set! Fun energy and excitement from them! Tegan and Sara are just beautiful! Great voices and sound. Was a little disappointed that they didn't play the songs I wished they'd play, but I at least got a couple songs that I love. I wasn't really feeling Passion Pit. I don't really know their music and nothing especially stood out for me. The sound was full of reverb which didn't help. I only know M83 from a few songs on the radio. I definitely have respect for them and what they produce! The Killers rocked it out of the arena! Most of their songs were a bit commercial, but fun to dance to. Loved that they ended with "All These Things that I've Done"! All in all, it was a great weekend full of phenomenal acts & music!!!!

During M83 the volume and bass were up so loud that it distorted their music. I was really bummed about this because I really like their music but it was not enjoyable at the show. I was also bummed that Imagine Dragons went on at 5:50pm when the tickets said the show started at 6:00pm. There should have been some notification about this time difference given The Killers and Passion Pit were absolutely amazing, though! Overall, I did still enjoy the show and all the balls bouncing around the crowd and the confetti. It was a great experience!

The bands were an odd mix. We loved the broken bells and black keys. MCR and Smashing Pumpkins were too loud for indoors. It just sounded like noise. You have to know the songs really well just to recognize them. The worst part was that our seat were behind the stage. Not directly behind, but at an angle. The sound equipment prevented us from being able to see at all. There were a bunch of empty seats, though, so we just sat somewhere else and no one ever came to claim them. The crowd was kind of lame. Wouldn't sing when the bands cued them to or crowd surf Thomas Mars when he tried. Overall the price was worth the two good performances. Not sure I'd go again though.

The concert was amazing right until My Chemical Romance and Smashing Pumpkins came on. The sound was so incredibly loud the lyrics were completely inaudible. Hey I like it loud but I genuinely walked out of there feeling like my hearing had been permanently damaged. It ruined the end of the night. Additionally, both bands were pretty awful overall. Finish Ticket, Broken Bells, The Black Keys and Phoenix were absolutely amazing and worth seeing any day of the week. The last two bands just ruined what could have been a perfect concert.

All the bands were amazing. The sounds at HP Pavilion was top-notch. Finish Ticket: It was the local band winner. They were pretty good. Have potential. Broken Bells: It was my first time seeing them live and man they blew me away. Their music is more about the instrumentation, very beautiful and atmospheric. Too bad people weren't feeling them too well. Thought it was a bit rude not to cheer for them=/ When they played The High Road, the crowd finally cheered for them. The Black Keys: I am going to go see them again once they come back again. They are fun fun fun. The gritty, fun songs brought out a bit more from the crowds. But the lead singer, Dan, said he felt like as if they were in their practice room. People still seemed a bit asleep. It didn't matter, The Black Keys rocked the house. Loved it when they played Your Touch. Phoenix: Another fun, energetic group. Thomas Mars, lead singer, really knew how to work the crowd. Especially when he got close to the crowd in the right. Were easily one of my favorites of the night besides The Black Keys. High Point: Everybody recognized 1901 lol. My Chemical Romance: This is when the crowd went absolutely wild, everybody was ready to get some MCR action. I enjoyed their set, so much fun. Gerard Way knows how to talk to the crowd and has amazing charisma. The only thing was that the sound during their set seemed a bit distorted, or maybe it was just me. Didn't matter, it didn't take away from their performance. Cancer with just Gerard Way and minimal musical instrumentals at the end was very touching and sad. Smashing Pumpkins: There were some people that left right after MCR ended. Many people from the back got the chance to be closer to the stage. Oh well, the people that left missed an amazing set from Smashing Pumpkins. Billy Corgan still has it. The bass was so incredibly strong that even the security guys had looks of shock when SP started their set. Very cool. They did some new and some old hits. Wish they would have played a longer set, including Zero (I was waiting for that song to pop up but alas it didn't). All in all, I had a rockin' good time all night and I would go through all of this in a heartbeat.

This is my First time being at the NSSN concert! and All I have to say is its AMAZING! All the bands ROCKed the night! But I'm kind of disappointed with the "VIP PASS" because there's no GA access to the main floor and we didn't get a chance to meet the bands (not knowing that we're not allow to go to backstage even if we have VIP pass). We were also informed that VIP PASS holders would get a beer ticket which admits us to get beers for free, but none of the VIP PASS holders ever got one.

All of the other bands that played were good but My Chemical Romance stole the show. They are one of the most talented bands on the planet and they are finally back. Majority of the crowd was there to see them and they did not disappoint.

Finish Ticket is an up and coming band and they did a great job on stage .Live 105 is to be commended on arranging this local band contest to give local musicians a goal - something to dream about, something to practice for and something to get their fans behind. I think that next year more attention should be paid to this contest....not just at the part of the show, but later during the wrap-up before the headliner. Live 105 worked hard to conduct this contest and the local bands all should be commended for getting CDs in for review. Make a big deal about it at the concert....mention the local band winner more ofter during the show...give the fans another chance to applaud for them.

We missed Alice Merton, which was a bummer. Foster the People were cool but I couldn't get into their songs except Pumped Up Kicks. Walk the Moon was awesome and entertaining. I've always wanted to see Weezer and my dream came true that night. They even played the Pixies "Where is My Mind" in addition to their radio hits. To top it off, the Killers ended the concert with another great set with their major hits and The Man, Run for Cover from their Wonderful Wonderful album. The concourses at the Oracle can get really crowded and the lines for restrooms near the concession stands are always long. Look for restrooms away from concession stands. Bring back Kevin Klein Live please!

I loved every act so much!!! I would, however, loved more time in each set but the overall night was amazing. I have been waiting to see The Killers since forever & they were spectacular. Weezer & Walk the Moon blew me away, & I was pleasantly surprised by Foster The People. (Mark Foster's dance moves were really cool) I also loved Alice Merton, her voice was beautiful. Overall, it was a wonderful (wonderful) night (:

As a major rock fan for over 50 years I am not a huge fan of either Foster the People or the Killers, but both were more than tolerable. Very together in their performances, and the crowd was appreciative. But I had gone to see Weezer. I had seen them twice before. The first time they were quite good, but the second time they seemed tired and bored. Their on stage demeanor was careless. But at Oracle they seemed to have found new energy, perhaps because they have a new and quite good album from which they clearly enjoyed playing several selections along with Hash Pipe and other prior hits. They were fun again. A happy result that justified the price of admission. This is my second year of NSSN. Both times were worth the effort. Even for an old rock guy like me.

I was beyond excited for this show. So many great bands to see. I'm not sure if it was our seats or just the sound in general, but the mixing was way off! You couldn't hear the music right. The Mic was low or the bass was too high. I could hear everyone astound me having regular volume conversations better than the lead singer. I was so disappointed.

Vance Joy and The Lumineers made for a great night of live music last Friday night at the Not SO Silent Night concert in Oakland. Interesting that because Portugal The Man was the band that prompted me to buy tickets. PTM played on a dark stage the entire time with increasingly frenetic visuals behind them that seemed to suggest they wanted the visuals to compensate for the lack of any connection to its audience - or the desire to even be seen. It was so odd. And it made me want to close my eyes since the visuals were so intense and not in a good way. And their big hit song didnt even really hit its mark. When they were done, they left the stage with the audience not even sure if they were done or not given the darkness of the stage. So thanks to Vance Joy and Lumineers for some great music.

First things first, the lineup up was perfect. Walk The Moon, Foster The People, Weezer and The Killers are outstanding bands. I didn t really care for the opening artist, but that s just my thought. I was a little disappointed that Walk The Moon and Foster The People didn t have a long set like Weezer and Killers (WTM played 5 songs, Foster played 6 given that WTM gave their last five minutes for Foster to play an extra song). I m a big fan of those guys and was a little underwhelmed with the time limits they were given, just wanted a little more time for them is all. Overall good show.

This was my first year going to the NSSN concert. At first I was surprised at how short each set was, but in then end I was very impressed with the sampling of all of the acts. The organizers kept everything on time, what a nice surprise! The only disappointment was the merchandise was very limited and appeared to be sold out from the night before. There was not one NSSN t-shirt available. BIG BUMMER.

For the 2017 show, I went to see all of the bands in the lineup for the Saturday showing. It was all around amazing. I haven't seen the Killers live in over a 4 years, so that was a special treat. I just wish Walk the Moon's set was longer than 5 songs. At least I'm seeing them next year live!

I've seen them multiple time & will continue to see them every time they're close. Weezer is CLASSIC <3 If you haven't seen Weezer & you like them, you should go! I also see Weezer every time they are here. Walk the Moon is so fun! I'd like to see their whole set! I also wish I got to hear more from Foster the People.

Each of the bands perfprmed very well. I don't even like Vance Joy and he was good. Welshly Arms and Manchester Orchestra were excellent, and The Lumineers were as well. Portugal. The. Man was over the top incredible. Great sound, style and light show as well. Even the stage switching was incredibly fast, fifteen minutes for all but the Lumineers, and their stuff was ready in 15 mins even if they weren't ready to come out. But the shows performances were all way to short. 25 mins for Welshly. Barely 40 mins for Manchester O. 45 mins for The Man. The whole show was over before eleven pm. Add some time to all of them and it would have been phenominal!

From start to finish, this event was mostly a failure. First, went to Ticketmaster before the sale started, clicked immediately to get my tickets and the first robot clue was covered over by an ad. Had to refresh which took a little time, the next robot clue was unreadable. Finally on the third try I was able to get in. After several minutes it finally came back to tell me that no tickets were available. I tried again and after several more minutes, I was able to get tickets. Because the ticket site doesn't show you exactly where your seats are I wasn't sure where I would be sitting but figured that with VIP tickets they couldn't be too bad. When we got to the parking lot, they told us that our tickets did not include parking (the live 105 site said they did) so we had to pay an additional $35 for parking. They told us to go to the box office to get a refund, which we did but found out from them that it didn't include the parking - so wasted part of the first performance looking to get the refund. In fairness to live 105, they admitted there was an error on their website and they have offered tix to their BFD concert. Our seats turned out to be 5th row in sec 127 seats 1 and 2...the furthest to the right of the stage possible in the VIP section. There was a speaker on the side of the stage which blocked our view for the first two acts: Vance Joy and Spoon. Spoon was excellent but didn't have much crowd support. They removed the speakers for Cage the Elephant and Interpol. Cage was very energetic and the crowd was very into them. Interpol, on the other hand had the bad fortune of having a number of people carried over the wall during their performance and between that and their more somber songs caused their set to be poorly received. When Alt-J came on stage the speakers on the side returned and again our view was partially blocked. Alt-J was great but our experience was somewhat ruined by the massive amount of cold air blowing directly on our section from the air conditioning unit, nearly freezing all of us in that section. We had to leave before Imagine Dragon as it was getting too uncomfortable. Bottom line Spoon and Alt-J were great, Cage very energetic and good, Interpol not so much (too bad, because I really like them) and we didn't see much of Vance Joy and none of the Dragons.

Live the annual Live 105 Concert, and bands that played at the event. I really had no problem with it at all but the only thing that i've seen was the strict over watch of the security staff. Yet, that is there job for safety, it was just a little out of hand when they come into the crowd because it was too rowdy or someone sitting on someone shoulders to enjoy the concerts.

What sold me on night 2 over 1 was Interpol. They were unfortunately the worse of the night. Interpol played about seven songs and at least four of them should not have been a part of their set. Thankfully Cage the Elephant and Spoon (bands I was not a fan of) put on awesome performances. I like going to shows like this and finding new bands. I did not stay for Imagine Dragons, it would have ended past 11PM. The time in between bands was pretty long. I wish Live 105 spent less time trying to promote their morning show and got the bands out faster. ALT + J was good but I probably wont go to their concert at the Greek next year. I will go see Cage the Elephant and Spoon live again, whenever they come around. I am upset about Interpol's performance and will not pay to see them live again.

All of the bands (1 thru 6) were excellent, from Vance to Joy to Imagine Dragons. Cage the Elephant was in exceptional, frenetic fine form!! , Alt-J was the best that I have ever seen them, more confident than ever. And then Imagine Dragons presented one of the best shows I have seen in a decade or more. Incredible percussion combined with Dynamic musicality and vocals. And the lead singer was everywhere, with precise vocals, athletic presentation and the best lead performance I have seen in a long time. They were better than on their records or on a CD. Amazing!!

Going into the show I was a fan of cage the elephant, and liked a few songs of imagine dragons and Vance Joy. Vance Joy opened up and did a good job, but didn't have a very long set. Next was spoon and I must say I was not really into them at all. Then Cage the Elephant came on and had a whole other level of energy to them. The Singer was running around and crowd surfing the whole time and put on a great show. The whole crowd was into them and gave them the loudest applause of the night. Next there was interpol which was a huge shift energy wise from cage the elephant. They more or less stood in the same spot and just went through there songs, nothing too exciting. Alt J was next and I felt they started off strong but by the end I was just waiting for the last song. Last was Imagine Dragons and I'd say they had the second best performance of the night. The singer was running through the crowd and performed well. a lot of drunk people seemed to just be waiting for radioactive out of them so the final song by them was pretty cool, with everyone singing along. Overall it was a pretty cool show. Both myself and the person I went with agreed the only band we would pay to see solo after that was Cage the Elephant.

Imagine Dragons was awesome. Would have been better show without Kevin Klein as emcee of the event. He's one of those entertainers that's just filthy for filth sake, not really that funny. Kind of a negative spin on an otherwise very positive event. Believe it or not Teenagers don't have to hear F - bombs every other word to hear a message or get a joke. Cage the elephant had incredible energy.

Live 105 put on an awesome show. Everything from the venue (Oracle) to the performances of the bands were unreal. We were sitting midway up in the 100s, 3 sections from the stage and had a great view. Either way, there wasn't a bad seat at the show.

Really enjoyed this show overall. It's a good venue, and sound quality was great. Spoon and Alt-J were fantastic, and really enjoyed Vance Joy and Interpol. Cage the Elephant I was less excited about going in, but their performance was a lot of fun to watch, and the crowd seemed really into it. Ended up not staying for Imagine Dragons; I like them, but they aren't my favorite, and it was a long show, so I just didn't feel the need to stick it out to the bitter end. Only two nit-picky things I think they could do better: - The morning show hosts' shtick between sets was completely obnoxious and unnecessary. - It would be nice to see one or two acts that weren't just white men. Even though I like all the bands, or I wouldn't have bought a ticket, it was a little homogeneous, and there are plenty of other great performers to choose from that would have mixed it up a little.

Live 105, you've done it again. I just didn't think it was possible to top 2013 (Kings of Leon, Vampire Weekend, QOTSA, AFI, Arctic Monkeys, & Capital Cities!?), but you did. Spoon, Cage the Elephant, Interpol, & Alt-J were just superb, sublime, and exquisite. A broad selection of some of the best music around and they rocked the joynt...we are very fortunate that the Bay Area is a draw for even the biggest acts. It was phenomenal. Thank you, thank you, thank you...

Cage the elephant was amazing! Interpol sounds just like their album, and Imagine dragons were good, even though the singer was sick. The only complaint I had was the DJ between bands, Live 105 needs to find some new talent for sure, that guy needs to learn what speed music can play at and how not to use feedback as an "artistic" element, cuz he is surely doing it wrong.

I loved the show! Loved it! The crowd was roaring, the opening bands rocked, and I was so stoked to see Cage the Elephant in person!!!! Omg they played my favorite songs, "Aint No REST for the Wicked", and "come a little Closer". The best performance of the NIGHT!!! 12-13-14!! However, the only reason why I wouldn't give this event 5 stars is the closing act with, I'm sorry to say, Imagine Dragons. I had so much high hopes to hear my favorite songs that when I heard this is the last song for the evening, I was crushed. Either way, great performance overall for all bands. Ok - there's the music, there's the experience of being on the general admission floor at Oracle Arena, then there's the fact that as a 43-yr old momma I only went to accompany my high schooler and her friend... The show was put together well and I think the acts stayed on time and played according to schedule. Did I like the music? I very much liked Young The Giant and Fall Out Boy, Lincoln Park was OK, and I enjoyed Rise Against (respected the music more than liked it personally), and I could do with out ever hearing from Walk The Moon or Future Islands again. Not that they were horrible, just not my speed (Walk The Moon was quite bubble-gum) and the other was just meh. Being on the floor at a "kid show" is weird. We started in the center of the stage about 6-7 people back, and I was happy with our placement - we waited in line for 30 minutes before doors opened and music started 30 minutes after that... All was good and we made concert "friends" and had a blast until the 3rd band Rise Against started and my daughters friend decided she wanted to get up EVEN CLOSER... that's when the front of the floor became a modern-day "mosh pit" and I no longer was in control of my movements. People started pushing and shoving toward the front then toward the back until there was no air left between us. A much bigger taller person (a dude) stepped on my foot and I was unable to move out from under him. It took me yelling and poking him for about a minute straight before he heard me and moved and I became very stressed out and nervous about someone perhaps falling and being trampled. After that sing I made my way out and left the girls hip front where they were happy. Unfortunatley even when I got to the back of the floor where it was empty, I was NOT ALLOWED TO SIT DOWN ON THE FLOOR. Time and time again I would see people (young and old) trying to sit down and rest during this 7-hour concert, only to be told immediately that no sitting was allowed?!?!? I have never been to a show where sitting on the floor was banned and I had never been on the floor for a concert at Oracle either - maybe it's just an Oracle Arena thing? Anyway - it sucked. Al in all I stood inside and out, before bands, during and after bands, for a total of about 7-8 hours, to see 2 bands I thought were great, 2 that were ok, and 2 that I didm;t care for at all. Did I have fun? No, not really, but the kids did.
