Hot 97 Summer Jam

Loved everything about that night. I started going to Summer Jam about 6 years ago when I was 35. Never missed one since!!!!

Had a great time and no fights everything was peaceful but more Concession stand should be open with a big event like that

Way less artist this year. They gave the artist that no one really bought the tickets for too much time on stage and the artist that everyone bought tickets for too little time on stage there was also way too much dj ing. I ve been going to summer jam since 2003 I seriously think this was my last year.

if you have never been to summer jam its definitely an experience..whether u are a hip hop head or u just love eye candy summer jam has somethng for them all..tailgating pre show concerts its hot..i have been every year since 02 and every year u get a suprise..and 2010 is guaranteed to be hot first concert in the new stadium..its going to be hot and i will be in the building looking hot..

I have attended every Summer Jam Concert in the Tri State Area since 2001 and each year it gets better. See you on 6/6/10!!!

HOT 97 SUMMER JAM was HOT and I would recommend it to everyone to go, especially if you never been before. It was a great and fun expereince and I'm definately going to 2010 hot 97 summer jam.

I purchased two Platinum Lounge tickets and I will not ever purchased any other ticket! I felt like a celebrity!! The Ciroc drinks were good. The lounge was comfy and fun! The artists were amazing! My favorites Lil Kim, Mariah Carey, WuTang, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj were all there! I am already planning my trip next year lol. I recommend Hot 97 Summer Jam!!

Every year since i can remember, I look forward to seeing my favorite artists perform live at Summer Jam. This year was my 15 year old son first time at Summer Jam and he enjoyed it just as much as I did.

I thought all the performances were pretty good except for two chainz.

SummerJam2013..... One word Epic!!The 20th anniversary was definitely a show you didn'twant to miss. The suprises were exactly that huge suprises!! It was worth the long drive. Best concert I've ever been to.

This was my 1st time at Summer Jam. I got tickets for my 13 yr. old son as a gift for his Jr. High graduation. He loves rap music and he absolutely loved, loved, loved this concert! He's already telling me he can't wait to go again next year. I have nothing negative to say about the concert except that disabled accommodations were a little rough because those were the seats we got because of my husband. The seats themselves were fine but finding an escalator or elevator proved to be difficult especially when staff kept sending us around in circles. Otherwise, the concert itself was totally amazing and we got to see a lot of super cool surprise guests. Parking could have been better because we got there early but yet were parked so far away. Also, it would be easier not to remove the caps off the water bottles. Security was awesome, food was good.

The rain made the concert alittle uncomfortable but that didn't stop me from rocking out. The Whole event was amazing and I enjoyed every segment of it.

I love everything about it all the artitis that was supposed to be there showed up and even more crazy surprise guest Lil Wayne was There that was amazing Nicki Minaj,Mariah Carey, lil kim, chris brown ,sean kingston an etc.... there was no fighting it was an easy entrance an exit after the show overall it was amazing

I don't think i've ever had as much fun as I did at summer jam. The lineup this year luckily was everyone I love. But even better, the surprises. Each person in the line up brings at least one guest and it turns out all of the guests were just as great as I thought. I had great seats and the atmosphere is wonderful. Everyone is so fun to be around, it's so easy to make friends and just have a great time. I thought the show was poppin and I never had more fun. And the festival outside was great too! Even if you don't know the artists, its still great. So much music, free things, pictures being taken, drinks and it's just a blast. You know you had a great time when you wake up 4 hours later (aka the next morning) with no voice and your whole body was sore. I look at pictures and videos all the time and even though it was two days ago, I wish I could be back and I really can't wait for next year!! If hip-hop is in your blood, I suggest you go. I got lucky this year with the line up. But never doubt Summer Jam. You'll see people you never thought would show up. Everyone said tons of stars wouldn't go, but look who was there. Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, DJ Khalad, Mariah Carey, J Cole, Rick Ross, Ace Hood and so many more. You get all the major hip hop and rap stars from the year in one concert. Most amazing night of my life. Don't waste your time and money at other concerts, because Summer Jam is where it's at.

The whole event was awesome! The line up was siiicckkk!! Each performing artist (surprise performers included) was incredible and delivered a great show and vibe!!! Although I was bummed that Foxy Brown was unfortunately late and could not perform with Fabolous as intended and French Montana's performance got cut short due to the time loss/delay as the concert had to finish at 11:30pm I overall had a phenomenal time and the whooole time and money on this event was worth it!

OMG summer jams was off the hook. That was my first concert i ever been to and i had a great time. I wish my seats where closer but other then that it was off the chain.

For my very first summer jam, it was something to remember. I little crazy getting in, but once inside everything was beautiful. All races of people coming together to celebrate Life, Love and music. I had great seats and won t soon be forgetting the summer jam experience...

This was my first Summer Jam I had a good time everybody was rockin!!!! I especially like Trey Songz all I can say about that is DAMMMM!!!!! I cant wait till next year.

I had such a blast... Overall the whole concert was a 10 + !!!! All the artist were great. I loved Trey Songz and Usher... They both were the highlight of the night!!! And I cant forget my husband Camron... I was beyond excited when dj Khaled brought Camron... I screamed like a little baby. I dont have no voice right now , but Idc... I had a great time, and the platinum lounge was worth it every penny. The seats were great besides the opportunity of being in the 50 yard line... I am looking forward to next year event, and Ill b there again at the lounge!!! =)

Use all the video screens. Nothing popped. More vendors at festival stage.

The lady at the concession both charge me $65 for one Heineken beer didn t give me a receipt Then I called the stadium And they said I got 6 beers OMG it s my birthday y would I be buying the drinks and furthermore We got it in. in the parking lot before the show got started we all know those drinks cost a arm and a leg.Now I have to fight to get my money back . They need to check There workers because that lady is stealing I m so piss off 5 Years in a row nothing like this never happen to me before

Each year it gets bigger and better. Unfortunately this year was a bit boring. I was more entertained outside the stadium than inside. The best part was when Swizz Beats brought out BBD. I almost cried

The performance from some of the artist was okay they could have done better.

The line up was trash no one had a new song out and after meek mills perform I was ready to go They need a better line up next year got us sitting in the rain listening to beats

Show was amazing Maino opening was awesome. He carried the stage well. A lot of artist development displayed. Remy Ma was on point. Fat joe was splining. Yeezy cause the fever . The audience was perfect. Looking forward to another one.

Although the festival was canceled and it rained the whole day I still enjoyed myself by about 8pm the rain stopped and all was good the show started about 9-9:30 and I had good seat row 6 it was like I was at a night club outside. I really enjoyed myself I was horse the next day. My only issue is hot97 not allowing future to have his set and cutting Dj Khalid set short that was a bummer but all in all good show but I payed a lot of money and didn't feel like I got my money's worth

Could of been a lot better . Stop letting Funk Master Flex take all the time away from The Performers . Hot 97 could of done way better

This was about to be my BEST summer jam ever until you guys just abruptly shut it down. The main reason why spent $120 and called out of work was to see FUTURE and that didn't get that. I appreciate you guys pushi g the concert back due to the weather but I want to see the concert in it's whole entirety.

The Acts were amazing and it was a good first experience at Summer Jam. Make sure you have a fully charged portable charger and a extra device to record don't just have your one phone lol

The best concert I have ever been to in my entire life. I cannot make this up. The line up and special guests made my life!!! I was a little upset at the earlier event in the festival village because they put on the huge stars first and the crap ones last, but all in all it was to die for! I was very upset with the stadium because a riot took place outside and they dried up the entire event. No booze! I purchased very expensive tickets and this was supposed to be apart of the package, and it was not... disappointed about that, but the artist took most of the sting away. The even started on time! Not a second past the start time on the ticket and that was a miracle.. lol I will purchase tickets every single year they have this even from now on.

I don't know what happen when I was inside with the people action all crazy. But I had a great time like always I go to Summer Jam every year.. so far 2006 & 2015 have been the best ones

Despite the events that took place at the 23rd HIP HOP's own Summer Jam at the MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ, authorities did a great job at proecting the well being of other who paid for a great show. When you have people who are trying to jump the fence to see a show that some folks paid well over $400.00 to see is unacceptable. Someone has to put a stop to it. I've been going to the Concert for the past 10 years and each year I can honestly say the show gets bigger and better. If you love hip hop music you will Enjoy the show no matter the line-up. Majority of the celebrities that are on the line-up will more than likely bring out other star- guests.

It was my first time experiencing summer jam and I had a really good time. I got front row seats, I just wished I would have gotten there a little earlier in order to be right in front of the stage. I'm type short so it wasn't that easy to see while others were standing in the way, but I enjoyed it to the fullest! Especially Chris Brown's performance and can't forget Fab bringing out New York City!!!

Summer Jam 2015 was on fire .. Chris Borown, Trey, Lil Kim, 50, Fat Joe, Kendrick, Nicki Like shit was AMAZING !!!!!!!! Had me on my feet the whole night

The show was amazing I been to Summer Jam the last 5 years it never gets old... love it... had a blast and the weather wasn't bad at all... chilliy towards the night but i was dressed warm. The food was pricey but good! Hot 97 needs a Winter Jam in an indoor arena...

Summer Jam 2014 was my 1st show and I loved it soooooo much that, God willing, I want to make this an experience that I enjoy every year from here on out!

Always a great show the plus was the weather!! Loved Nas G Unit reunion and the Nicki set.

No rick ross, future, 2 chainz, or dj khaled.....and the artist that were there didn't really tear it down the way I expected them to (dammit nas). In any case, trey songz, young money, wiz khalifa (with snoop), and troy ave did their thing most definitely. Everybody else was okay....except for roots, who seemed to be having sound issues during their performance (although bringing out m.o.p and d-block was cool. All in all....it wasn't a waste of money, just not as good as past summer jams

The surprise acts were a really nice touch for me. I took pride in getting to watch Lil Wayne, The Roots, Wiz Khalifa and 50 Cent for the first time and also got the opportunity to see surprise appearances from The Lox, MOP, G-Unit, Meek Mill, French Montana, Fabolous, Soulja Boy, Drake and Young Jeezy for the first time as well. Most importantly it was amazing to have the inclusion of Bunji Garlin, representing Trinidad (where I'm from) and soca music for the first time at Summer Jam with his mega worldwide hit Differentology.

Summer jam just keeps getting better and better would reccomend it to everyone whos really a hip hip fan a most go to event

Such a epic experience to be able to watch so many artist perform in one day on one stage. The best part was when nicki minaj hit the stage & bring out lil Wayne. But what made it such an unforgettable moment & so epic was seeing Drake come out on the stage. I nearly knocked someone off their seat from the excitement! I love Drake & the fact that he came out on stage made it worth it for every single dollar $ I spent on that ticket.

It was wonderful !!! One of the best summer jams thus far. A little upset it was $30 to get in the parking lot after i spent almost $400 on tickets but besides that no complaints

I have been to 10 summer jams in mass and non of them come close to the experience and turnt up time I had at MetLife Stadium Sunday! I can't wait to go back next year it was amazing start to finish!!!! Tailgating festival stage and the line up .... CRAZYYYY!!!

This concert was everything I imagined.. it was my first time every going to summer jam and I enjoyed myself although when the last couple of artists came on stage they turned their mics off at 11:00 and said we glad you came to summer jam get home safe, that s was a little rude and they didn t even get to perform

Took my 15 year old to his first concert. He loves hip hop so I figured Summer Jam would be perfect. The show and performers were good. Ive been to a lot of concerts but was surprised at the amount of people smoking around the stands. You couldn t even breath. It was disgusting. Security did and said nothing.

The show was ok I expected a lot more considering it was a 25 year anniversary

Show was horrible to be the 25 year anniversary the acts was short surprises from 1-10 was a 1 it was my 4 summer jam and I m from Kentucky. Y all put remy on every year what has she drop. Meek mill was the best act he should of been last plus get some down south artist on the line up.

,Summer Jam had en excellent lineup; nevertheless, the event was shorter than the event last year. Otherwise, I loved the performances.

This summer jam was dry as hell even the intermission with the dj s sucked they were very unorganized which is why the last performer was cutt off abruptly ....the same performers for the last 3 yrs ...at this point its just about enjoying time spent with friends...but money was definitely not worth $80 the most is what should have been charged with the tickets

We drove from Ohio to NYC just for summer jam.. we had an amazing time and would do it again.. Besides the long lines to get inside it was great to see everybody enjoy the concert and performers. Im extremely happy I got to see Cardi B (even if it was for 8 seconds). Cant wait for this years!

Due to the weather performances were postponed, completely skipped, or rushed. The concert ended abruptly and there was honestly nothing memorable about the night other than the disappointment and waste of time and money. Do better yall.

I've read so many comments from people criticizing Hot 97 for delaying the show so long. Clearly, these people are delusional! I don't care how much I paid for my tickets, I'm glad they waited until the storm passed. I've been rained on at two previous summer jams and it was no fun! I know this event requires MASSIVE planning and since this is a rain or shine event, I understand the delay rather than cancellation but I would have preferred a refund and see no show rather than the half-ass event that did go on. The sound was horrible, Flex's set ran way too long and, as always, some of the acts have WAY too many people on stage. All in all, this was definitely my last summer jam. I'll stay in my lane and wait for Masters of Ceremony to return.

Had a horrible time. The show started late which I understood because of the weather but I paid nearly two thousand dollars for my finance and I seats and we were so uncomfortable where we were suppose to be sitting because of the uncontrollable crowd from the back that over ran the the front area. It was so terrible that we had to leave in the middle of the show because we were tired and people that did not belong in the front took over our seat area standing on chairs infront of us that we were not able to see. It was so much pushing and stuffed up an cluttered there that we could not take it any longer. Im not sure if other people were ok with it and maybe we were the only ones that did not like the turn out but overall for me I had a terrible time and not sure if I will go again. Thank you tho

Well, the weather was really the culprit for a show that would have been even greater. Though I enjoyed the show. Hot 97 and it's affiliates did all they could to make it a great show for us given the weather circumstances. All of the acts did their thing. Unfortunately some of the acts weren't able to perform. But again no fault of Hot 97's. There was a little skirmish in the crowd which caused a little disruption. Attendees helped one another to stay calm as a little pushing and shoving ensued. Law enforcement on duty handled things professionally. They were NOT over aggressive, nor did they overreact. Things were handled quickly, without force, and the show continued on. Despite everything, I as well as many that I observed had a really nice time.

1st, the event was delayed 3 hours due to the rain (not too mad about that). 2nd, the wait to get into the stadium was too long (over an hour). 3rd, lack of security and met life stadium staff. 4th, the artist lineup was not as advertised. I will not be returning to summer jam in the future and I will advise others to avoid this event at all cost.

The concert operators told the patrons way to late about the delay in the show, then would not refund parking so you were forced to sit here for 8 hours in the rain if you didn't have a car. Then when the venue finally opened the show started at almost 10 PM, and the show was cut short and you didn't even get to see everyone who you paid for. Very frustrating, shouldn't have spent so much money on such a poor show. Should have reshceduled. Better luck for next year.

This was my 2nd time attempting summer jam again this year. Prior to this year, last year I never got in because of the up roar that started outside of the venue & then this year I get to the venue early & find out the first part of the show was canceled which led to the main event starting later than expected. I was very displeased with your service & with the way the event went about. Also all of the performers didn't even perform. Waste of time!

I was looking forward to this event after hearing so much about it over the last few years. i finally managed to be able to travel from the UK to be apart of the experience. I was even more excited when I heard Future was on the line up as I had missed him when he was in the UK. With Future being one of my favourite artists I decided to buy a ticket. The concert was great with many surprise artists coming out on stage. However I was very disappointed that I had travelled all that way for the festival part of the concert to be cancelled and also for Future to not come on stage amongst a few others. I would still recommend this event just for the experience.

GOOD Music was the only worthwhile part of this trash show. They cancelled the festival, and Future never even got to perform.

Should have had a rain date !!! The late start forced scheduled performers to get cut !!!! Not worth the amount of money I paid for my tickets. Very disappointed

THE SHOW FOR THE PERFORMERS WHO DID PERFORM WAS COOL. HOWEVER I DO NOT THINK THE SHOW SHOULD HAVE BEEN DELAYED..IT RAINS EVERY SUMMER JAM SO WHY DELAY THE TIME KNOWING THAT CUSTOMERS PAID TO SEE ALL THE PERFORMERS THAT WERE ADVERTISED AND TO COME TO THE CONCERT AND GET CHEATED.. NO ONE WAS REFUNDED A PART OF THE MONEY BACK DUE TO ALL PERFORMERS DID NOT PERFORM. I DO NOT THINK THAT IS FAIR ALL THE MONEY METLIFE AND HOT 97 MADE...DISTASTEFUL

The Hot 97 Summer Jam was unforgettable. It was a great show.

Okay cannot get mad that it rained cause it did say rain or shine but the fact that I didn't get to see probably half the performers that was told were going to be there was very upsetting. I paid to see specific artists and did not get to see them. Will NOT attend next year. Also the crowd pushing and us loosing our seats was terrible too had to stand. Did I say I was not going to attend next year? .. yup i wouldn't if I were you either. Waste of money.

The rain delayed things I get it but the people in charge didn't know what was going on you could tell by the constant dj trying to hype the frustrated and impatient crowd... Then to only have a$ap mob come out for 10 mins of a snooze session it's not their fault either people from jersey don't know how to act and cause a fight. After that we wait longer for dj khaled it was not hype either but he finally got the crowd going! It started looking better but they cut his time short and his mic!? And future didn't even perform nor kid ink!??? Horrible. If it wasn't for Kanye making a guest appearance the everyone probably would have rioted.. Even Kanye gave a half decent show messing up pt1 and the end of mercy.

This was our first time attending this type of she brought tickets for my twin daughters and myself.we enjoyed the shoe outside of the 2 stampede that occurred. I think the state police did a good job with the crowd control on the floor. If they the police had made themselves present I belive those to incidents would not of happen.

Loved the show wish I could have been closer. I loved Kendrick, Tory Lanes, A Boogie Wit Dah Hoodie. They should have let my boy 6ixNine In.

The show was ok, I've seen better tho. I will be going back next year but have a star studded lineup from start to finish
