Morgan Heritage

I am biased... this my favorite reggae group. The venue allows fans to get close to the performers. These wonderful performers are not only talented but so personable. They love to perform and love their fans. The music is upbeat and positive. After the show there is a meet and greet and all of the group are so welcoming and laid back. It is always a fun night when Morgan Heritage performs.

Been a Morgan Heritage fan for years, but this was my first concert, and they did not disappoint! Their live performance is AMAZING! Could have easily made a "Live from DC" album from it. The vibe they shared with the crowd was very warm and welcoming. You could tell they appreciated their fans for supporting their music. I had a great time, and will DEFINITELY attend more of their concerts in the future. What's even more amazing is that after their outstanding performance, they surprised us by doing a free Meet and Greet where they signed my CD, talked to me for a little bit, and took a pic with me. Made my night!

Got to finally see one of my favs perform and I wasn't disappointed!!!!

Bring all the groups back together again please!! All groups were amazing and flowed so well with each other let's do it again!

This concert was Amazing Cant wait til the day they have another one!!! Legends all on one stage A moment to remember!!!

The dj's had the crowd going until acts came onto the stage Tarrus Riley was my favorite

I must say this was my first concert in the USA and I enjoyed it tremendously. I danced all night, screamed, raised my hands and all. I will definitely go back if they perform again. One thing I would like to say though, I was not too happy about the length of time it took for Morgan Heritage to start their performance. My daughter rwas there because she loves all the artist that performed but she was getting sleepy by the time MH came on stage. They should cater for the fans that like to go to bed by 1 or 2. Besides that they rocked

You all will not be disappointed. From the Deejays, that were warming up the crowd to the band to the reggae artists, they all were true class act. They delivered a classy performance without all the Bullsh*t that one will find when going to a concert or performance. Love, love, love Tarrus! Come back soon!

This was the best reggae show I've been to in Fort Lauderdale and I've been to quite a few. All my friends that went thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and still talking about the show..Please bring them back to Fort Lauderdale I will personally spread the word. ..Great show! UNFORGETTABLE! !!

Great show. Crowd was many more Jamaicans than usual, which led MH to playing a lot of their old classics, which were awesome. Played from the new album, most of the others, plus an awesome tribute to Buju. If you have not seen MH live, when they are in your town, drop everything and GO!

Drove 4 hours from Va Beach to see this awesome show. I've been tracking them for about 4-5 years waiting for a show nearby. Showed up @30 minutes before show and we ended up in front of the stage and shook hands with the band. Would see them again! Please come to VA Beach would love to see them again!

It was my very first time seeing Morgan Heritage perform live, even though I followed their music since the 70s. But I know a great performance when I see; MH is again setting the standards to which other groups MUST follow.

Excellent concert!! Performance was outstanding! good crowd, everyone was just rocking to the music and the vibes was right as it was a mature crowd.

The show was really great! Morgan did a fantastic job, it just wasn't long enough. It started at 8:45pm and was over by 10:00pm. Food at Howard with all the additional taxes (food tax, venue tax etc.) was rediculously high and and not worth the price! Oh and stay away from the buttermilk chicken, not that good at all. Should have gone with the jerk! Overall Morgan perfomed extremely well, all those sexy black men on one stage did it for me! Need I say more! 2 snaps up baby!

The family Morgan was great, Peeta Morgan has a dynamic voice that just draws u in & Gramps gave that sexy melodic voice and gave up a great rendition of James Ingrams, "Just Once". The brothers also gave us a little of Michael J & John McCartney's "The Girl Is Mine". The son Of Gramps gave a great opening with such energy and his beautiful Jamaican voice with his International Girl song, and others he sang were just great starters. I wished they had more time. U left there wanting more just hyped. This was a first time I've seen them. Fantastic. Would like to see more of them.

Really great concert in an awesome setting. I would recommend this concert to others.

I enjoyed the show I loved it wanted more.. The Morgan's did very good job I wish the show with longer but it was worth it..

One good thing about music when it hits you, You feel no pain! Straight vibes, live band and real reggae music. It was straight vibes! Their voices blended perfectly. Entertaining and educational with information on the history of the music. BB Kings is a great venue for live shows. The price was right too. My only complaint was that the show started too late. Most shows are on week days. We had to leave before the set was over....work the next day! It was my first time seeing Morgan Heritage live and I was not disappointed.

It was a great performance from beginning to end! I would love to see them again.

Was another awesome Morgan Heritage show. This time was mostly acoustic, since they wrapped up their acoustic tour in Ft Lauderdale. They always mix it up to give you something different, yet always pure MH and purely amazing. If you haven't been to Culture Room lately, check it out. Nice upgrade to the place and lighting.

Great venue! Magnificent band! Morgan Heritage is unbelievably talented!

These artists are musically talented. Their harmony is amazing but they spend too much of the show talking , not performing. And they shared time on stage with new artists they introduced. Which is nice , if you want to do that then play longer. I didn't pay good money to listen to someone I never heard of. Also, they had a DJ too --- who talked, talked , talked.

I was expecting a band instead i got dj playing music and the member of the group singing.. i like the taditional form of concert not this waterdown version

While I love Morgan Heritage- I looked forward to a live event of them playing as a band, we got them playing alongside a DJ with background music! Event did not start on time and only after close to 1.5 hours. It was just such a poorly done show.

I bought tickets to the show primarily to see Morgan and Maxi perform. I didn't really care much for Junior Marvin's Wailers other than that I had a great time dancing to some good old reggae!! Overall it was a great show.

Loved them all and that a Broward center hosted them!

Excellent performance by Morgan Heritage. It was nib to see the Daddy Mirgan and the younger ones there supporting the team. Nice night of roots music.

Great show and location was good as well. The staff was helpful with seating.

Enjoyed this event very much. My only wish is for Maxi Priest to stop wearing that hat when he performs, it would have been nice to see more of his face. Morgan Heritage was really entertaining, good to see a family so united! Have seen these groups many times, they never disappoint. Bless up!!!

Great opening acts and an even better performance by Morgan Heritage. Didn't leave disappointed. It was money well spent. My only complaint, and I blame this on me, was that tickets posted the show would start at 8pm. The show didn't begin til 10pm and ended at 1am. Good in that you had ample time fully enjoy yourself but bad that you were on your feet the entire time. Next time, I'll plan accordingly. :-)

Just saw them in December on the Jamrock Reggae Cruise and I enjoyed them then and now at Howard Theatre. They were fantastic as usual. Love it when talent is consistent. The young men were great and I look forward to seeing them progress their talents further in the industry. Did not care too much for the opening band so I took a 15 minute power nap on them. But I was up on my feet when the Morgans' started. The young up and comings have powerful voices as well as the veteran singers. Very talented instrument players, I could hear it very well. I HAVE MY CD!!!! LOVE EVERY SONG!

I have rarely been to a concert where they make you wait in the frigid cold for 45 minutes AFTER the doors were supposed to open. Not only that, but once we got in, we were invited to spend money on drinks while we listened to generic reggae spun by the house DJ for an HOUR before anyone came on stage. The show was already supposed to start late at 11:30, but Blackalicious came on at something like 1am. I assume because they took the stage so late, they had to cut their show, because they were on for barely 30 minutes. They ROCKED those 30 minutes, but that was it. Morgan Heritage came on after them and played well, but by then I was falling asleep so we left.

while this was an overall good event, i was not able to get past the fact that there was a hip hop group performing before a grammy award winning reggae group

Morgan Heritage was so great!! I'd definitely go see them again, no question about it.

It was awesome I can't wait to see Morgan Heritage again. They have so much Love. They sound great and interact so well with the audience. I hope they are in Jamaica we go!! My only dissatisfaction would be the price of the drinks and just having to stand when I thought we had seats. Because it gave us seat numbers........

The show started late, but overall it was a good performance. I expected seats due to the wording on the tickets, there was none.

Waikiki Shell once again did not allow you to bring your beer to your seat. We paid the extra money to sit in the front row. We had to purchase beer and drink it standing up in a tiny roped off area far from the stage. The Shell and ticket master should advertise prior to the ticket sell that they will not allow alcohol in the seating area. We would not have paid the high ticket cost and would have sit on the lawn had we known. This scenario has happened to us before at this venue.
