Norfolk Tides

Go Tides!!! Go O s!!! Having a Triple AAA team in the area is really awesome! Great eats, the BBQ is unbelievable, super friendly staff and easy parking.

Game was good between the Norfolk Tides and Durham Bulls. It was also Star Wars night. Unfortunately not many characters were there. The scoreboard modifications were humorous. Great ballpark and game.

Very family oriented baseball park. Some nights they allow everyone to run the bases and their food is delicious!

After several bouts of rain, at times heavy enough to cause a rain delay, the Tides lost a close battle. The pitching was evenly matched, sitting down batters either through strike-outs or plays on the field. Ultimately, after extra innings, the Tides gave up a run and could not recover.

We really enjoyed seeing the Tides play. Our seats were fantastic. The food was pretty decent although a little pricey for a family of five. Getting in and out of the stadium and parking lot were easy. We had a great experience.

This was a lot of fun. The baseball was good for minor league action. The ballpark was great. The amenities were good with lots of food to choose from. The ball park has a great atmosphere. A bit tough getting in and out of the stadium parking. Parking was only 5 bucks.

With no team for Richmond this year, I enjoyed my trip to Norfolk to see the Norfolk Tides host the new Gwinnett Braves. I enjoyed the game as the Tides, the team I routed for, won.

Tides game was great--and fireworks were fantastic!!!

My family and I has a wonderful at the game. Loved watching the blue fellow entertain the crowd. Fireworks were awsome. Look forward to returning.

We had a great time at the game and enjoyed the fireworks following the game for July 4th.

I have been going to Richmond , Va to baseball games @ Parker Field and The Diamond for years . This was my first trip to Harbor Park , I was impressed . The ease of parking , entry to the park , and seating was great . The people who work at the Park were nice and freindly . I enjoyed the variety of food and drink the Park has to offer , anything you would want at a ball game . I will be back ! ! !

The Norfolk Tides played the Gwinnette Braves on Friday night. This is the second Tides game I have attended this season, and the third my family has attended. Each of the three games, including this one, the Tides have won seemingly effortlessly. They won this game 5-0. For great family entertainment at a reasonable price, you cannot beat a Norfolk Tides game.

The fireworks were 1st class although the stadium sound system needs to be improved and I enjoyed the game even though the Tides lost.Access in and out of the parking lot was smooth and It all made for an enjoyable evening. I'll Be Back, Tidewatcher

It was a great family outing to watch the Tides win and have an outstanding firework display to kick off the4th of July Hoilday weekend.

Our family went and watched the Tides destroy the Gwinnett Braves and had a GREAT time! The park was clean and well maintained, and the staff was very courteous! The games and entertainment between innings was like no other ball park we have been to, and we will absolutely be going again! To top it off, the fireworks display was amazing, and made the event that much more enjoyable for my young children! Thank you Harbor Park and Norfolk Tides for an unforgettable night with my family!

The Tides played great baseball, won the game and the fireworks after were just the icing on the cake. All make for a wonderful 4th of July celebration!!

The seats were great and the food proces were resonable. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting some good old fashion American entertainment.

It was an icredible game and the fireworks were the best.

The Tides game was a bit slow going until they decided to show up to actually play ball. We thought they were going to win but in the end the pitching wasn't able to hold onto the lead they had. I tend to blame the pitching coach. Why did he pull the 8th inning wonder!

It was a beautiful night out. It wasn't crowed, really able to purchase items without long lines, or any lines at all. Weather was just perfect. It didn't matter what team won, I'm new to the area, so I just wanted to see a game. Parking was great, no problems getting in or out. It was just an overall nice evening. The staff at the stadium were most friendly, I have nothing negative to report.

This was a great family fun event. Everyone should go!

With this being my 3 almost 4 yr old little girl's first baseball game...I must say it was great. The visiting team was so professional and talked to her frequently in between innings. The game was one of the longest I have ever been at....13 Innings. The facilities are great, the food is tasty and reasonably priced as well. All in All a great experience for my daughter and myself. Will be heading to the ball park again soon. Hopefully...HA HA HA HA...the game won't go quite so long. :)

Really fun game. A lot to do and watch. Seats were amazing except for really annoying people all around us.

We had great seats. It was wondeful when we got to see one of the guys hit a home run. Everyone that went with us had a great time. The rain cleared and the evening was beautiful.

Great fun for all ages. The fireworks were as good as 4 th of July, parking and seating good. The food hot and tasty and drinks were cold! We will be back!

It was a great game but ticket master charged me for insurance that I did not want or chose to get.

Had tickets for the Tides game--ticket ordering process on-line was easy; getting in was simple (ticket barcode just scanned) Good seats, great weather and the Tides won!! Great fireworks afterwards and easy getting out of the parking lot once festivities were concluded

There is nothing like a live game, exciting and fun.

Had a great time here. Went to a double header and did not want to leave.

Back in the day night means $0.50 popcorn, soda, and hotdogs which is great and there was a double header game which was even better for the price of one ticket. Beers are still fairly expensive but overall a great time and a great deal

Our family went to .50$ Smithfield Hotdog night. The weather was perfect, the Tides won both games, and the staff kept the between inning entertaining!

My WIFE and 3 boys always take the Tide to the park and see the game every time we go. I don't like baseball but love competition and 3 hours of being away from home where there is no laundry or responsibilities, I have found it to be a great venue to go and relax 5 times a year.

Doubleheader, Gwinnett Stripers v. Norfolk Tides. Rain delay in between the two games; but that's an act of mother nature. There's not a bad seat at Harbor Park. Food prices are reasonable; beer prices are a bit steep. Tides are having a great year. Parking is reasonable, and if you are Downtown anyway, you can always catch the light rail.

What a beautiful night for baseball! And so good (so good, so good) to see so many Red Sox fans at the pahk.

Had a blast and will def go again! My son got to meet several of the players, which made his night!

Took son and family including 8 year old grandson to park and it was wonderful. Very, very kid friendly, lots to do, and of course great baseball. The Tides do a great job of engaging the fans. THANKS!

Perfect weather, GREAT game and wonderful fireworks. Lot's of enthusiasm by all the fans and everyone enjoyed this game. Louisville is a super opponent and everyone just had fun watching these two teams play together.

Harbor Park is a wonderful family oriented place. It's fun to go with family and friends to watch the Tides play. The food is great, the atmosphere is unbeatable and children and adults will love the clowns with balloons and activities that take place in between innings.

Great vibes, weather was beautiful, venue was clean and organized, staff was friendly, food and snacks was good. What more could you ask for at a ball game!

It was a small stadium with great seats everywhere. It was also not outrageously priced for a great day of baseball.

Going to a game with my family. My daughter-in-law is in the middle of a pregnancy with complications and cannot walk far. Everyone went above and beyond to help her get to her seat. Wheelchair escort in and out. It was so great to have that available as she does not use or have a wheelchair on a regular basis, just is limited in how far she is suppose to walk. This service enabled her to be able to attend the game. Parking was easily accessible and lots of lighting in parking area. Parking was also reasonable. We also had our grandchildren there and there was inexpensive face painting and balloon art ($1each). Lots of food options. Overall it was a great experience, just wish it had been a little warmer :)

The Tides have a great ballclub this season and Harbor Park is the ballpark in Minor League Baseball, in my opnion. There isn't a bad seat in the house, seriously. There are great food options available and an amazing array of craft beers and microbrews, showcasing Norfolk and regional breweries. Go Tides!

We went to Harbor Park to watch the Norfolk Tides play the Durham Bulls. The arena was nice and on the river. It was Virginia Tech Hokie Night.

It was a nice time and good game, we enjoyed ourselves.

Always loved baseball and the Tides delivered! Bottom line, don't leave before the end of the 9th inning! Great game!

The Tides finally won an unforgettable game.. Bases loaded multiple times, home runs and plenty of fly foul balls hit from both teams for fans to catch. Fireworks after... Great night. I got to share it with my friend from Missouri so this was her first Tides game. And to make it even better we didn't have to drive cuz we caught the Tide light rail. Beautiful weather too.

We brought our two kids and family members out to the game. This was my littlest ones very first time and he absolutely LOVED it!! The baseball game lasted 12 innings and he had the best time. The fireworks at the end were a perfect ending to a wonderful night. We go every year for the Fourth of July to the game and we won't be breaking that tradition anytime soon!

My 8 year old great niece was visiting from Durham. It was so amazing to watch her face with amazement. The 100 questions about the score board and her fascination was chilling. I love baseball. This was a perfect Tides games even with the spots of rain.

The game was so much fun. Harbor Park is an amazing field that is well kept and very family friendly. I love the part that the HRT Tide dropped us off right in front of the field. What made the experience fantastic was that it was also Star Wars night! The different costumes were amazing and brought big smiles to both my sons faces. The fireworks at the end of the game was the topping on the cake. Such a great time and looked forward to taking my family again.

We had great seats, the weather was perfect, it was a nail biter up until the very last inning and even though our home team (Tides) didn't win this one they still played a great game and held the other team.

One of the best MiLB experiences of my life. Great stadium, a bit cramped concourse, and the very long wait for concessions was the only reason I didn't give Harbour Park five stars.

Tidewater Tides are a top of the line base ball team. If you want to watch good,)

Excellent experience for any baseball fan! Not a fan of either major league club but still great to watch. Harbor Park is a must see for sport enthusiasts and parking is ample at the stadium for just 4 dollars.

The game was good about what you would expect from a triple A game... The park was nice and clean

The seats were good and the game even better. We thought we were going to lose after the first 3 innings...but the bats came alive and scored 11 runs in one inning. TIDES ended up winning the game. Great weather, Great Seats and it was .50 hotdog night as well.

What a fun experience! We took our three kids to the special game where Star Wars was the theme of the evening. Costumed characters were everywhere and were more then willing to take photos with the kids. We had great seats and enjoyed the game. Food prices were good for stadium standards and everything we ate was good! We were celebrating one of our children's birthday that evening and we paid $10 to have it posted on the animated signs on the field. It was WELL worth the money. It didn't just show once, it was views at least 10 times by us. So we were able to get some great photos! The evening ended with a fireworks show. We thought, ey it will be just a small show and OH WERE WE WRONG! It was a GREAT fireworks show matched with music from the Star Wars movies. The kids were thrilled!

They didn't win (it was a shame!) but it was tons of fun and Harbor Park is a great asset to Hampton Roads!

It's been at least 5 years since I've been to a Tides game, but some dear friends flew up from Florida for a visit so I thought I'd get us all tix to the game. What an awesome evening. It had poured and we were afraid it might be cancelled. The food stands were great, the view was terrific and the evening went beautifully... If only the Tides had beat the Knights!! That would have made it perfect.

Great seats great game. My family and I had lots of fun and it was the perfect first game experience for my little man.

It was cold, and the Tides lost. However the hot dog was good and there was a Tides grand slam home-run. I'd go again and probably bring a jacket, but the Tides should also bat more effectively and preferably win.

Goodseats wherever you sit. Cold beer (abit pricey).It would"ve been nice if the Tides won...maybe next time!

Unfortunately my Tides took another beating. STILL, you can't beat a beautiful evening at Harbor Park! Not a bad seat in the house. The cool summer breeze coming off the Elizabeth River was just another plus to a wonderful evening!

I love baseball so this was an awesome night. The weather was great (a little warm) and the seats were good also. We could see everything. This was a treat for my husband for his birthday. The kids I believe had a wonderful time. Taking pictures with the team players was the highlight of the girls night. I always enjoy watching the game whenever we go. Have had good seats no matter where we were. The workers were extremely generous. The young man who helped up with our seats was one I will remember because of his helpfulness. What an incredibly fun night. Armed Forces were well represented with weapons/equipment exhibits and uniformed servicemen/servicewomen. Air Force and Army bands were professional and entertaining. Tides staff did an excellent job with pre-game and between-innings events. The Tides played well and beat the Bats with lots of hits and excellent defense. Parking was readily available, the stadium area was clean and well maintained, and the food was tasty and plentiful. Finally, the fireworks display was probably the best I've ever seen. Thanks Harbor Park for another first class event!

What's not to love? A hot dog, a cold beer and boys shagging balls in the outfield. It's prime Americana!! Great stadium, good concession food (Did I really say that?) and good times. GO !!!

The seat were not right but my family and I were still all able to sit together so all in all we had a B~L~A~S~T

So fun! Just try to plan to go to a game when it s a little warmer ; ).

Always love going to Harbor Park and watching the Tides.

Overcrowded for the number of concessions. 11K made for long lines and I missed most at bats due to people standing in aisle trying to get up and down. I love Harbor Park but no more openers for us.

Dont think about watching the tides game if your 5 year wants a hot-dog or something to drink. You will be in a line for at least 2 innings waiting to be served. And forget a beer. One person to pull your beer and the same to take your money and count change. I was in line for 25 min.

From beginning to end, everything was great! Park members(staff) were helpful, friendly and even funny! The park was clean, and the food and drinks were good. Great atmosphere!

The game was so fun! I haven't watched a baseball game since I was a kid and it truly made me feel like I was a kid again. I attended with a big group of my coworkers and we are planning on attending again! Such a great Sunday Funday :)

Ticket prices are really reasonable. Behind the dugout can be had for a great price. Good field views everywhere within the ballpark. Clean. Plenty of food options but the prices are high. Easy to get to by car. Parking is $5.

Facility is one of the best in Hampton Roads. Ball game that night was exciting. Went into 10th inning with Tides winning. Grandkids, twins age 13, enjoyed the evening too! We purchased the Family Meal. Hot dogs were a disappointment. Be prepared to spend over $100 for 4 for the outing.

Great double header, was expecting it to be a 4:05 game and we would be in the shade the whole time, but the game started at 2:05 so we were in the sun for a short period of time.

So I love baseball, and wanted to check out the Tides as I seen the stadium a year prior, and thought how nice it would be to enjoy all the pleasures of what baseball stood for, such as freedom, an american favorite past time, and well shouting for your team to win... We picked the 4th of July weekend, which included the Navy, and fireworks, and baseball. Drove 3 hours one way from NC, not only to enjoy all the glorious wonders they had to offer, but also see the Durham Bulls lose (just got lucky with that game and them playing the weekend we got to go), just to only like the stadium... they run too much promotions, prices are crazy, they do offer great tall boys and bring items to you in the stands, but the team is very un-interacting, don't give the balls to the kids, which in turns makes memorable times, for future fans, and the fireworks that lasted 10 minutes, was a poor display... I just feel like they could do so much more, and have so much more not only for the park, but team and fans as well.... another note, only have netting around home plate, so warns about foul balls... By the 3rd inning, I was just ready for the fireworks, and would have just went home if I knew they were going to be as bad as they were.

Always a great time going to these games. Plenty of good food and family entertainment. Going on a night with fireworks is a bonus. The fireworks are always great.

It was okay. Probably not go again this year or use ticketmaster.

I try to take my son at least once a year. We should probably go more often because it is a fun time. I don't understand why there aren't more seats sold here.
