The show was great Stanley Jordan was just outstanding and when he played the piano and guitar at the same time it was just amazing, Kevin Eubanks was great as well, although I would have like to had seen them with a full band it was almost like an unplugged show, as they played as with each other and by themselves

As a jazz enthusiast, I have seen Stanley Jordan many times, each concert is unforgettable. He can play 2 guitars simultaneously, guitar and piano simultaneously, and plays both rhythm and lead on a single guitar. This is really great music and leaves you with the feeling, "This is not possible!" A must see event. Even if you normally do not care for jazz, you should see this show. He mixes in Hendrix and other rock in his playlist.

Being witness to this legendary musician was out of this world. He was so engaging while remaining in his musical space with his band. The backstage lounge at Humphrey's was the perfect intimate venue.

This is my second time seeing Stanley Jordan. The first time was 30 years ago. Stanley Jordan still has his touch! He is an amazing guitarist! The first time I saw Stanley Jordan he played two guitars at the same time! This time he play both a keyboard and guitar! Great band (bass and drums). Sound was ok for this concert however I know Stanley Jordan is an very dynamic player which means a lot of his songs he play very softly then loud. This sound system did not have the same dynamic range as the first concert. I would recommend to see Stanley Jordan again!

Opener Billy McLaughlin was a joy to hear play and to tell stories of his life. What this man has done to overcome illness and to entirely relearn his craft is nothing short of miraculous. I would highly recommend seeing him. I am thrilled to have finally gotten the chance to see Stanley Jordan and he was sensational. He is a genius level of talent. His playing is so unique that I sat there in awe of what he does. He even played the piano and guitar at the same time. The NJPAC and The attached Victoria Theatre, where this event took place, are the 2 best theatres hands down to see a show in New Jersey. Don't ever pass up the opportunity to see Stanley Jordan.

My wife and I didn't really know what to expect from this concert. I really wasn't that familiar with either Stanley Jordan nor Kevin Eubanks. I purchased two tickets for my wife and myself about 6 rows from the stage. The seats were separated by two other seats. We negotiated with another couple and were able to sit together. We were immediately impressed with the skill and talent of these two incredible musicians. I couldn't determine if Stanley Jordan was plucking or just tapping the strings of his guitar. It seemed is if he was playing two instruments at once. Seeming to not pay much attention to each other Mr. Jordan and Mr. Eubanks played with incredible syncronization. The incredible sounds produced defy description. When we thought it couldn't get any better, Mr. Jordan then actually played two instruments simultaneously (Guitar and Piano) to a standing ovation. We now have a very profound respect and admiration for these two very talented musicians. I don't believe I can hear any other guitar player without comparing them to these two and I fear most if not all will fall short of reaching their level of mastery of the instrument. We can't say enough to describe our enjoyment of their performance!

This was another stellar performance by Stanley Jordan and Kevin Eubanks was fantastic. The performance done by the 2 artists together was one of my all time favorites. It's been a long time since I have heard 2 guitar greats jam at the level of intensity and tightenness as these two....

To play the guitar and piano simultaneously, how dexterous!!!! It alone was worth the price of admission. My apology for not having someone of his caliber of talent not introduced, shameful. However, Stanley Jordan did not slight us, he was simply extraordinary!!!! Kevin jammed!

A wonderfully entertaining evening with two outstanding jazz guitarists--Stanley Jordan and Kevin Eubanks. My only disappointment was that there are no CDs of them playing together. But it guarantees that I will be hearing them again.

These musicians are a must see. The way Kevin Eubanks created sound with his guitar it seemed to extend beyond the scope of possibility. Stanley Jordan's ambidextrous guitar piano duet with himself was like nothing I have ever seen. Truly awe inspiring.

The Ritz Theater in Jacksonville, FL was the intimate setting for this rare performance from one of the most talented musicians to ever walk this fine planet. While the venue lacked a true stage (limiting what we could see) it added a historical feel to the evening and made us feel quite welcome. Stanley was off the hook as usual. Many musicians can play both piano and guitar, but how many do both at the same time? The music ranged from Mozart to Katy Perry to abstract originals that channeled Frank Zappa and not once did my jaw un-drop. The power trio included the outstanding Kenwood Dennard on drums and mind-blowing Zirque Bonner on bass. Jordan heavily involved both in some serious jamming all night. Always worth seeing Stan the Man!

Stanley Jordan is incredible. Absolutely incredible. I could have done without the 5 minute drum solo's that didn't match the music at all (think nice, soothing jazz with animal from the muppet show going to town on the drums). It didn't fit. The dummer is good.....but it totally took away from the experience of the music. If you can get over that, it was a very nice show. This is the first time I have ever heard Stanley's music and I was honestly blown away by his talent.
