What a gas to watch the Hoya's play basketball at the Verizon Center. The antics by all the students is a lot of fun. Loved the Pope hat and the take-off on the SNL shark...A good time for all involved.

A close game to the end! Told my friends sitting with me that the game would be decided on the free throw line, and it was! Too close for comfort, but Villanova pulled it out! ( yes, I am a big Villanova fan!).

I really enjoy watching this team play. I think they each take pride in moving the ball to an open player. There defense is great when everyone cover for each other.

They Georgetown Hoya games are always great! Cant miss them!

Gtown was beast as always. They had a very solid game and kept the tigers down most of the game however it was close at one point. Overall they put an ass whopping on them and it was to be expected. The experience itself was awesome, college basketball games are so fast pace and exciting. In terms of logistics, it couldn't have been any easier. I found parking very easily, if you go to PMI's online parking website they give you great discounts. Also the walking distance from the parkinglot to the stadium was very fair. Basically if you're a Gtown fan and you want to go watch a game, THEN GO WATCH ONE. Because they're usually really good and put the ass whopping on MOST teams.

It was a great game and I am definitely going back. However, I do not plan on sitting in the 100-level end zone seats again. During the whole game, the fans in the front rows of these sections stood on their feet, making it impossible for those seated behind them to see the game without viewing the telescreen. With permission from the event staff, I moved to the upper level late in the first half and enjoyed my new seat much better.

My family has a wonderful time. Everything went like clockwork. The seats were a little high up in the 400 section but we had a fun time and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Given the price of the seats and the performance that the two teams put on, there is nothing I can really complain about. Great game.

Tickets not avail to the general public for the SU/gu game? Fail, fail, fail. If you only want gu fans to be there, have the event on campus.

Pitt played another awesome game. Three pointer to start set the tempo for the rest of the game. Georgetown did come close in the second half and made it slightly exciting, but never caught up.

Pittsburgh played an outstanding game. I am not sure whether Pittsburgh is that good or Georgetown is that bad. I am just glad Pitt won.

Great game. We had seats that were pretty high up but we could see perfectly. Had a great time.

The game was awesome, mostly because I'm a WVU grad/fan and we won against Georgetown even though they were ranked fairly high and we weren't ranked at all. I like the Verizon Center too; it's easy to get to from the Chinatown metro stop.

Getting there to find out that it was airport-style security because the President was going to attend the Wizards game later that night when no such announcement was made ahead of time was very disheartening. Persons with innocent metal objects (Swiss Army Knife) that are still not allowed through the metal detectors had the choice of eating the cost of their metal objects or the price of their tickets. Its not an airport--you don't expect the metal detectors, and you haven't prepared in advance for them. If this sort of thing is going to be set up on a surprise basis, patrons should have the option of a full refund on their tickets if they wish to walk away and retain their belongings. They certainly have the right to set up the security, and I understand why the President's schedule is not announced in advance, but the combination of the two can end up forcing innocent patrons into being ripped off.

The Verizon Center was packed with Hoyas fans. The seats that I had were great and the fans were all screaming for the Hoyas to pull forward. Wright had an amazing game and of course, we came out on top!

A solid overall event. Good basketball and seats were actually decent even though we were in the 400s. Go Hoyas.

We traveled from Indiana to NYC for the holidays, and as Indiana University grads, saw that IU was playing Georgetown. What a great experience! Madison Square Garden is a superb venue for any event...but for college basketball, it is electric. The atmosphere was fantastic! I thought the ushers and arena personnel were very helpful. My only issue is that the concession lines were rather long. It would have made sense to have more of these open as I saw some of the side ones closed. Other than that minor detail, a fabulous event & venue. Would love to do it again some day!

MSG is a great place to watch a game. Seats were awesome

What a thrill to see a game as good as this one at Madison Sq Gardens. For true basketball fans, a good game at MSG is like going to Mecca. I do this again in a heartbeat. What a great place for basketball.

I called an MSG ticket agent (instead of booking on line) to book tickets specifically because I wanted to know where the Hoosier bench was so I can sit in a nearby section among other IU fans. The game against Georgetown was being played on neutral ground and it was not clear to me who was considered to be the visiting team or the home team. The ticket agent indicated that the Indiana bench was on the 7th avenue side near section 104. So I purchased tickets in Section 104. He was wrong. IU was on the 8th Avenue side and I ended up sitting among a bunch of Hoya fans. Everyone was very well behaved but I did not feel at home.

Great college hoops game. Tight game with lead changing hands throughout. Looked like Georgetown would win when Indiana sunk an impossible 3 pointer with seconds left to tie the game. Overtime was exciting with the HOYAS pulling it out by 4.

Lets go hoyas! Can't wait for georgetown to win it all this year!

First time at MSG and it was awesome! Great seats, very clean, and could see and hear everything about the game very well.

My son and I had a great time. It was the first time at the Verizon Center. Lots of action.

It was our first trip to the Verizon Center and first Hoya basketball game. The Verizon staff were helpful, friendly and professional. We took advantage of the BOGO deal in the express paper. However, I initially called Ticketmaster directly to purchase ask about the special offer and purchase the tickets, but was told there were more tickets available for the offer. I wasn't not going to go to the game as I found the tickets to be expensive for a family of four. I then checked on the Ticketmaster site and sure enough I was able to use the code to purchase.

The game lived up to my expectations but the seats did not. Didn't expect to pay the same for a college game as I do for a professional one so it seemed a great deal to be in the 100 level for the price we paid. Not so. Went with best available both by calling ticketmaster and booking online and the arena was far from full.

Worst refs I've ever seen..A travesty of officiating. Over 30 fouls called in the first half, and they missed the body blocks altogether. They should send that crew to the Big Eight.

Went to the Hoya's game against the Scarlet Knights with my son. Over all we had a great time. Enjoyed dinner at Bar Loui's right next to the Verizon Center -food was excellent, atmosphere was perfect for a pregame meal - tons of Hoya fans watching the Duke Miami appetizer on television. All in all a very enjoyable evening

My first Georgetown game, and it was awesome. I recently moved here (active Army guy) and I got to say Georgetown will be my basketball team to watch. Season tickets here I come!

The V - Center is great and the Hoyas played well...

The game was very good (what we could see of it). The venue did a very poor job of keeping people from obstructing our view. People were "poaching" the seats around us and when the actual ticket holders showed up there was a lot of shuffling, etc... while people stood up in front of us for what seemed like half of the game. I have been to Capitols games in this same venue and they limit movement until there is a break in the game action and I think some policy like that should be initiated for these nearly sold out basketball games.

I wish Villanova won. The venue was nice and worth going to.

Exciting game, good seats (center court would have been better), LOL...can't wait to go again. Using will call was easy and fast.

Game was great. School was out so not as crowded or loud as it can be, but the best First visit i could have asked for my four year old daughter. I choose the aisle seats, but we had the row to ourselves. She enjoyed dancing in the aisle and chanting, " Let's go, Hoyas!" Her favorite was "We Are Georgetown!" Everyone was great to us and very helpful. You just can't beat those Hoyas' fans.

We waited in line at a security entrance and were denied entrance on our tickets. The staff member scanning the tickets told us we had to go to the box office. We had to leave the line, walk all the way around the stadium, and then wait in line at the box office. The staff member at the box office told us our tickets were invalid because we had tried to transfer the tickets and then canceled the transfer, which we had not done. The staff member left and returned after several minutes and printed our tickets but had no explanation for what had happened. I voiced my frustration that we were missing the game, and the staff member offered to see if she could get us ushered in past the security line near the box office, which now stretched down to the street corner. She took several minutes and came back only to tell us that it would be "just as fast" for us to go wait in the security line, pushed our tickets under the window to us, and walked away. As a result, we missed time spent with our other 8 friends who were attending the game, as well as the first 10 minutes of play in the game. This venue is ill equipped to handle even small events - this was a college basketball game with mediocre attendance - and they can't even process tickets correctly. Disappointing is a understatement. Customer service was terrible.

All around great experience for the Men's Georgetown basketball game. Went into double overtime, so we got a little more time and excitement from this event than normal. Definitely want to get to another game.

There's a great variety of food, the seats are comfortable, the venue is warm, and fans are welcoming. I've been to a couple of events here, and they've all been great. Easy in, easy out. I do wish that they had more Dunkin Donuts counters around the arena.

Wow, what an effort by SU in the final minutes of the game! SU is not an elite team and will struggle to get 19 wins this year, but they sure made it fun this past weekend in DC against an old arch-rival. Even better against Ewing (although he's doing a nice job overall). Venue is good, food is good but pricey and drinks are too expensive. DC needs to get the metro running reliably. I go down to events many times and for the past several years, I can't recall a ride in without incident. My patience is nearly worn out with them. Anyway, back to the game -- regardless of who you like, it was a sit on the edge of your seat final 5 minutes!

My dad and I love to go to the BB&T Classic every year. This year was another great tournament. We enjoyed the Georgetown game and were rooting for George Washington but they just didn't have it this day. Maybe next year.

Great atmosphere. Georgetown doesn't actually have fans so it felt like I was back home in College Park.

The game was a nail biter and went into overtime. The Georgetown staff was great. However ticket master really dropped the ball with website and phone problems. My friend and I were unable to access our tickets, but a grorgetown student in the box office was a tremendous help. He should be getting the $20 service charge not ticketmaster

They were playing so badly that we left with 3 minutes left and missed another comeback almost win.

This is the 4th or 5th event I've attended at Verizon Center since October 2015 and everything has gone smoothly. There are plenty of stands to get snacks and beverages from, but what I really like are the random vendors walking around with beverages on ice. It makes grabbing a beverage very convenient without the hassle of having to wait in line somewhere. The vendors walking around take cash or can swipe your credit card right then and there. Very convenient and efficient.

Good seats, great game! Beer prices could be lower but they had a good variety of options.

Too bad the Hoyas have forgotten how to close out a game. Every time they got close they got stupid and threw the game away. Thompson needs to quit blaming the refs and improve his in game coaching, You'd've thought after the Creighton game that they had turned the corner, but NOOOO!!

Georgetown played a good game on Saturday night. They just couldn't stop two of Providence's very good players. Free throw shooting won it for Providence.

This was a great night for Hoyas fans who braved the remains of the snow storm to get to Verizon Center. Metro works great.

My nephew had a BLAST at the game even though Georgetown lost. It was a GREAT experience for him and the seats that I was able to get for him was PRICELESS. Thank you with a sunshine smile!!! Donna Green

Fantastic game, Georgetown played great against a very good team, and we WON!!!

A review of the venue (Verizon Center), not the game. The Good - nice assortment of concession choices, clean bathrooms, clean facility, friendly staff, arena temp was comfortable. The Bad - concession prices were a bit high, the seats have limited room for legs and feet. I'm 6 feet tall and had to have my legs sideways which meant I was constantly shifting from the left to the right to stay comfortable. The seats are also a little narrow. I have a belly but I'm not wide and I fit snugly into the seat. Any larger and I would have been miserable. I go to several events a year at the arena and will continue to go.

Sat in Section 107. Great value for the price. Halftime show was entertaining.

Disappointing performance for most of game but finally got things together in last few minutes. Yeah Copeland's winning 3-pointer at 12 seconds and DSR's block of potential tie maker as time expires. Go Hoyas!!!
