This show COULD have been so much. It was held in half of what is already a very small arena. While a couple of people involved have some talent, the content was lacking any real, well, anything except noise. The guns were way too loud for such a small space. The entire show was just so SLOW! It was only a 40 minute show yet there was an intermission to sell programs! It definitely was not worth the ticket price. Also, we paid extra for box seats to be closer and see more. Instead the arena was wrapped in some kind of black material that blocked out anything that happened in front of us. A waste of time, money and the fuel to get there.

Too short a show, the audio was difficult to understand as the mics kept cutting off and on. Expected alot more - nothing like the shows during the Stock show.

It looks like the show has degraded over time. Their are only 5 actors now 1 Indian, 3 Cowboys and a Singer/MC. They Cowboys skills in shooting, roping and whipping rival my own(not very good). The trick rider could only perform the most basic of tricks. He has not progressed to standing on the saddle while the horse moves yet, he can mount a running horse. The rope tricks were the worst I ever have seen performed, each cowboy could barley keep his loop open and constantly had to restart. It took them 3 tries to rope a Stationary Cow?? Stationary not moving.. An example the whipper missed his first target but rather than a one off he missed more than he hit and stopped when he hit his assistants hand. Luckily he went very slow. In most shows the accident would have cost a finger. The shooting was clearly fake. The first half of the show consists of watching some cows come out and stand around while a cowboy sings two songs... My biggest disappointment came at the end. In the opening they invite you to examine the famous pictures of performers and historical figures who visited the arena. When I tried I was told I couldn't go over to the older half I had to leave...No smiling or polite explanation just a rude get out. The real show had 20 real Indians and a chief... This show has one and they didn't even have this Indian talk or say weather he was even a real American Indian.. It was alluded to in a round about way but they would not be lying if he turned out to be Italian... Just skip for now unless they add some value to the show..

The Pawnee Bill Wild West Show was disappointing to say the least. The entire show lasted about 45 minutes including an intermission. My husband and I had seen the show last year and it was pretty good so we took our special needs son to see the show when we visited the Stockyards area on May 16th. The handicapped seating area was at the end of the arena away from all the action. He was looking forward to the Native American dancers but it turned out to be one person who danced for about two minutes. The free Wild West show at the Oklahoma State Fair is far superior than this show for which we paid $20 per person. In all fairness, this was early in the season, so hoping the show gets better later in the season as the crowds grow.

Great family fun! A patriotic and historical presentation of the skills COWBOYS of the old west learned. The cast demonstrates some amazing skills in the great cowboy environment of Fort Worth......a must see when visiting!

This was the worst "rodeo" I have ever seen. My guests and I were very sorry we had wasted the afternoon attending this mess. Please save your money and pass this by.

I was disappointed. I think there could be more done for something like this in Fort Worth, TX. The show was really short as well.

I took my 3 girls-we had a great time! Very family friendly and entertaining! I would have like to see more trick riding. The Indian dance was a bit of a let down...tho. Good value for the price.

Seriously, in a city like Fort Worth, more could not be done to help this venue out? In all there were six horses with riders, one cowboy who could sing and the two Indians did an authentic Indian dance, and a trick rider. The horses were beautiful and the riders were talented and did provide a good show. The singing cowboy did sing a couple of songs. The two Indians did not look much like real Indians to me. They looked like actors with terrible wigs and the authentic dance they performed included one Indian running in a circle over and over and over while waving a spear or something. The other Indian did about the same thing. It was rather embarrassing for me to know that people from other countries made their stop to this venue for entertainment and received a very poor show for $18.00 per ticket. More horses in the arena with more acts would improve the show. It was not what we expected at all. Very disappointing!!!

Not the 'wildest' show I could have hoped for but my granddaughters liked it and that's what mattered. I would recommend this for young kids, mine are 6 and 2.

We liked the Wild West Show, we are from Europe and were touring Texas and we thought it really belonged with our tour. The people who performed were really good! It was a pity there where not more people to watch this show. I think what is needed is a good marketing action and to build out the show so it's a bit longer and has still more to offer.

This is listed as a 1 hour event and lasts if lucky for 40 min. Oh and they even throw a 5 min intermission in. It could be an awesome show, if they really put some thought and time into it.

Lots of dialogue. Needs more action. Some cool things, but sporadically. Would nto recommend this for children under 8 since there isnt enough going on to hold the younger kids attention. Last about an hour. I give them an A for effort, but it jsut needed more "stuff". it was just ok. I can at least say I been there and dont that, now.

Simply put this event was boring. The event needs more character and theme. My family and I were expecting more than a few guys doing rope tricks. Walking the stockyard was far better than the show and we all enjoyed the 10 minute stand-up performed by the rail tracks involving the sheriff, his apprentice and the 3 bad guys. Now thats what we expected to see at Pawnee Bill's Wild West Show.

I had the pleasure of attending the Pawnee Bill's Wild West Show when my parent's came to visit. The seating was comfortable and very clean. The moment you enter into the arena you feel as if you have been swept back in time to a day when men were men and women were women and all had a great pride in individual heritage and in this great country of ours. You are back in time just as people went to see Wild Bill's Wild West Show, the shootists would give Annie Oakley a challenge with the wonderful display of markmanship. The horseback riding and all of the tricks performed were beyond phenomenal and very very intertaining. It made me proud all over to be a Texan and everyone watching the show struck up conversations on how much they were enjoying the show during the brief intermission. The singing cowboy and the young man with him did a great job of entertaining with good old campfire songs. The rope tricks were reminiscent of Will Rogers' and kids who usually play video games of make believe were astonded that this WAS REAL AND LIVE!!!! You could hear the young people exclaim how fantastic and thrilling the riding, shooting and roping was for them. We are making this a family tradition to be revisited often. I highly recommend this wonderful show to all ages. Good wholesome, comfortable, and family friendly fun for all ages. Thank you for having a show that does not have fowl language and uncomfortable situations for parents and children. I pray this show will continue long after I am gone. Happy Trails!!!!

Worst rodeo show ever. It was short, barely anyone was there and it was not exciting. The last part with the trick riding was okay, but it was very short. It is a total waste of money!!!!!

The show was neat to take my 2 kids too (age 14, and 3). Allow time for the parking and all the fun in front near the Coliseum. The 3 year old did get more out of the event due to the fun and scenes out in front of the Coliseum with the pony rides etc. So the whole night was a fun event for us. However- in this review for the show.. I was a tad dissapointed in how short it was and the lack of on going excitement. They took an intermision just around 40 minutes into the show. There was several slow songs song by a man and his guitar and that was not the best part for the kids. Yes it is what they did in the old west, but not my favorite part of the show either. The trick shooting I wish there was more of. Good stuff. Lots of tricks with the lasso. That was neat. When the show was over my family said.."that was it"? The feeling you get of Texas and pride for the USA makes it worth the tickets. Also wished I would have known the seating better, cause the extra cost for the box seats was not worth it. Seats all over had good views

Pawnee Bill's Wild West Show was a fun event to take my three year old twins to. The event took place at the Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stock Yards. There is no better place to see a wild west show. In front of the coliseum there were pony rides for kids so we took advantage of that before the show. It really got the kids excited to see what was happening next inside the coliseum. The show consisted of horseback riding, with and without saddles, sitting and standing on the horses backs, trick shooting, trick roping, and a singing cowboy. It was a very wholesome event that made you proud of your heritage and appreciate the hard work and sacrifice of previous generations.
