Thoroughly enjoyed the venue and the event. I wish that is was a regular stop on the circuit. Really enjoyed legends like Serena and Venus Williams and major up and coming star Coco Vandeweghe in tennis action against the Netherlands. Go Team USA

The ITA and USTA, along with hundreds of local volunteers and city employees made this event a huge success, giving much needed attention to the thriving tennis community in Asheville. The star power of Venus and Serena Williams was a bonus we hadn't counted on when the event was scheduled. How lucky Asheville was to host this event; I hope many more will now see that it is truly a destination for high profile tennis events!

Great tennis. The Venue was a good size but all seats offered a good view of play. Absolutely loved that the practice and the introduction of players prior to event was free to the public.

This was very entertaining and relaxing. Wish more people would have come. We went both days and stayed the whole time....had a blast.

My 1st Fed Cup. Had a great time and Play was superb.

It was a great event. The only drawback was the weather and certainly no one could control that. Wish the turnout had been a little better but I think the crowd pulled them through. Need more "noise makers". Should have been given out at the door. There were only a few in the crowd but they kept things nice and loud. Need more next time. Food and drink was too expensive.

Watching and cheering our U.S. women tennis players play for our country was totally amazing, fun and very enjoyable! Would love to watch another Fed Cup or Davis Cup match again!!!

Atmosphere was more personable than Davis Cup. The seating was closer so we all could be heard. You were right there with the action. The girls pumped us up and we helped them with noise. The matches were close and very exciting, probably too exciting. When it came to the doubles we were all so amazed that we almost forgot to make noise. I would love to go to the finals.

The players' performances were superb. The whole atmosphere was so exciting; not only was the tennis amazing but the whole event was a well thought out performance. I thought the BJCC did a wonderful job making the stadium comfortable and conducive to hosting this event. Thanks for bringing great women's tennis to Birmingham!

The girls have made it to the FedCup final for the second straight year!! The finals are later this in year the US, but they haven't decided which city yet - HOPEFULLY BIRMINGHAM AGAIN!!!! BJCC + Tennis = Great Birmingham event!!

I think the turn out was awful, due to Venus and Serena non-participation, the US had to go with lower ranked players which was like watching a qualifying match. Bring Zina Garrison back!!! She had a relationship with the Williams sister and they are the players that can obviously bring in a crowd. Also, doubles is a really important part of the game, even without Venus and Serena, I could have happily watched a doubles match the whole weekend, especially the one played Sunday. The doulbes match was the best part of the entire event, L. Huber is AMAZING!!!!!

The Fed Cup was a lot of fun for my kids and I! We saw some awesome tennis over the weekend! The kids had fun watching too, and loved the free face painting and getting many autographs! Fun weekend! Go USA!

The Fed Cup was awesome. So glad that BIrmingham hosted!!!! I hope they put a bid in for the finals against Italy!!! I loved getting to watch great tennis so close to home!!!!!

I am a big tennis lover, but mostly a player. At first I found the rah rah part of Fed Cup kind of cheesy. As the tie (strange name for a competition between two countries) went on and each point came to be critical to the outcome and cries of "USA, USA, USA" rang through the arena the excitement was intense. We (USA) won, but that required winning the last singles rubber (another strange name for a tennis match), and then the same player played in the the deciding doubles tie. Tennis is fun, but team tennis when it is representing your country is fabulous.

Very proud of Bham for putting on a first class event. Everything from the civic center's appearance to the workers to the entertainment to the food was great. Congratulations to all who organized and worked at this event. You should be very proud. The tennis was great. All of the players raised their game to give the USA a victory. All I have to say is Vensus and Serena who..........

Tennis court looked great. Fun event. Music and announcer were too loud however - needed to be turned down. Food choices ran out before dinner time even though matches lasted until after 8 pm. But the tennis was great!

This event was very fun! The music and ACE (mascot) compliminted the wonderful play perfectly! Fun atmosphere + good location + great play = USA 3-2 victory! I enjoyed the USA team chemistry as well...they were a better team without those self-centered ...I mean "injured" sisters. GO USA

FedCup in Birmingham is most enjoyable with tennis being played for the honor of their country. The excitement, the anticipation, the roar from the crowd, the high lever of tennis can only be expressed in one word, 'WOW."

Lots of fun, except there was a lot of noise around the concession area that was distracting during points, but besides that, had a great time!

Maybe one day soon Fed Cup matches will have the same status with the media & public as the Davis Cup matches do. They certainly deserve the admiration of everyone! What an awesome team representing the United States of America!

The energy was contagious. What a great venue to have the event. So much fun, Great tennis. Hope other events are held there soon

The Fed Cup event was extremely fun!! It was my first event like this and the venue was great and the crowd was loud!!! Not your every day tennis tournament. Such a treat to have this in the Tampa Bay area.

Great venue, nice staff from shuttle drivers to event staff.

The Fed Cup event at Saddlebrook was enjoyable and the court could easily be seen from all seats in the arena. It was a fairly hot day and the Team played right through the heat. The crowd was very involved as we cheered our Awesome Fed Cup Team on to the finals! My only complaint was the fact that the seating attendants should have done a better job in containing fans who were coming and going during the middle of a game. Other than that, they also did a great job! I would recommend this type of event at Saddlebrook to anyone who enjoys watching superb tennis! Go Fed Cup Team!

Had an amazing time. Saw some awesome tennis. Both countries played great tennis.

It would have been helpful if the commentator would have explained the team scoring system used for the Fed Cup. It was really bizarre to be watching the doubles match and having it abruptly stop at 4-1. No announcement wad made. Everyone started leaving. They said the US won. The starting singles match started off fun and positive. The rest of the day just fizzled out leaving us all confused and disappointed.

Great venue, great tennis, great seats,great fans: little disappointing that the 2nd and 4th match had to be cut short. Hope they can play there again next year!

There wasn't a bad seat in the house. Holua did an excellent job with parking, concessions and rest rooms. I wish there was more merchandise. Sizes ran out fast.

Every seat was great at this event. Players were crowd friendly; staff was friendly; free parking; gorgeous weather. A wonderful experience watching the pros play tennis with the USA fans getting the cheers going.

It was worth the price to see it live, an unbelievable tourney by Venus, along with the rest of the U.S. Team, it was totally awesome!

FedCup is good because you're guaranteed to see the top players play. A great atmosphere cheering on your country!!!

FedCup Tennis is a great atmosphere in women's tennis. You get a chance to see top players from 2 countries duke it out!! Would definitely go again!!!

Okay. The bad news, USA lost. The good news. It was a breathtaking, exciting tennis event. My first time at a Fed Cup event. The first time for my kids, too. We had a blast. We will definitely attend another in our area.

It was a perfect afternoon of tennis at Chaifetz Arena. We were fortunate to have this opportunity to see these world-class tennis players. And everything at Chaiftetz was first-class, too.

We really enjoyed the Fed Cup in St Louis. Wish they would have been closer to us in WI. Just could not pass up the opportunity to see this event. Would recommend this to all tennis fans to experience at least once.

Front row seats for two excellent women's tennis matches. Very enjoyable.

Both matches were great but the second match with Madison Keys was awesome. Both sets were tiebreakers!

The event was incredible! Received an email prior to the event withdirections to the venue and available parking. It made the trip to the event easy and stress-free. Seating was great and even though the USA didn't come out on top we had a great time and saw some incredible tennis play. We have told everyone about our experience.

I actually saw both days of matches between USA and France. I really wish we had more events like this in St Louis. The tennis was good, the visibility of the court was excellent. Withe Chaifetz Arena not be overly large, you were able to be relatively close to the players. The only negative I had about the event was that I wish there were more fans in the stands.

Great weekend of Fed Cup tennis at Delray Beach terific seats. great atmosphere GO TEAM USA!!!!

We had an excellent day at Fed Cup in Delray Beach, FL. The stadium and staff were super and very attentive. I lost my camera cap and the attendant found me after the match and returned it. The stadium is very intimate.

The chance to go to a Fed Cup or a Davis Cup comes only ever so often, so you better go when you have a chance. So glad that I went and experienced this wonderful event.

Enjoyed every aspect of the FedCup in Delray except one. At last minute the doubles match was cancelled due to 3 American player medical problems. A bit hard to believe as no other information was given and it didn't appear evident from looking at them that they were hurt, injured, etc. (Venus did have a rough but exciting match right before so it was understandable for her, but for the others it was questionable and disappointing.

Buying tickets online is great but printing them at home is even more awesome. Peace of mind. Delray Beach tennis center is very intimate. Perfect place to watch tennis!

I loved every moment of the Fed Cup, especially the last set when Venus fought for her life and victory came for the USA. I was not particularly pleased with the way the authorities handled the rain delay. I thought they could make an announcement/give an update but even the staff did not seem to know what was happening. Anyway, when things resumed, Serena continued to 'clean up' so all's well that ends well. All in all a well organized event with a great outcome. Go USA!

We were happy with the Fed Cup in Delray Beack, Florida until the American team decided to forego the playing of the double's rubber match. Apparently because they were ready to go party, were tired or just because the match was decided, the American's decided they would forfeit the doubles match and disappoint many of the fans attending and also those watching on TV. Talk about lack of integrity;i.e. when you commit to something you should not falsely claim that 3 of your 4 players were injured(you notice that they claimed 3 of the 4, since you cannot play doubles with only 1 player) so they then allowed a "walk over" for the Swedes. I used to be a fan of the Fed Cup but now will never attend another Fed Cup match. I have lost a lot of respect for the Captain. Mary Jo Fernandez and the rest of the American team. At least the Davis Cup participants finish with their commitment by playing their "rubber matchs" . I think that the Fed Cup owes all attendees a refund on at least 1/3 of our ticket price for Sunday the 21st. This does not take into account the cost of travel to get to and from the event. We came all the way from Wyoming.

It was a fun experience, my first time at the Delray Center, and our seats were good. The only bad part was USA lost and it rained, but there is nothing anyone can do about that.Overall , a great experience, we will do it again!

I realize the Fed Cup was US vs. Sweden, but in all honesty, you have to admit Serena was the big draw. Since bad weather had been predicted all week she should have been first up on Saturday. As it was, we sat through a 2 1/2 hour match, with Stephens losing and then a very long rain delay. Many people left, us included since there was no way to tell how long the delay would be. Had the matches been reversed, the whole day would have been a much more satisfying experience. Another comment, the speaker system seems to only reach the inside stadium. During the rain delay announcements being made were not heard outside the stadium where everyone was standing. No one was in the stadium to hear them. This does not make sense! Your no reentry policy needs to be re-evaluated. Having paid $150 for the seats it quickly became an expensive afternoon that we will not repeat unless policy is changed.

It was wonderful to be able to watch our American team play against Sweden during the Fed Cup tie. However, we ended up defaulting the doubles match, which is unfortunate since many of the spectators play doubles at home. Also, the fans were not told about this until right before it was scheduled to start. Since the American team had taken the victory lap with the flag, I suspect that it was known then that the doubles match was not going to be played. Overall, it was great fun, though.

Fantastic showing. Very enjoyable. The venue has the normal problem of not enough restrooms for females. Also eye opening is the fact that you are stuck when it comes to food so make sure you have lots of cash since lots of vendors don t take plastic.

Very well organized from parking and shuttles to the pace between matches. Would be helpful if more vendors accepted credit cards rather than cash only.

Great venue for watching the USA beat the Czech Republic over the weekend!

The tennis was great, but cut short due to weather, injuries, and the quick work that USA made of Germany. We were hoping it would be closer such that the doubles might be a live match, but no such luck. The seats we had were great, but the hard concrete structure was hard on the butt, and scratched up our legs a lot just maneuvering around trying to get into our seats, the whole structure's surface is basically like 100 grit sandpaper! The policy on what can be brought in needs to more specific. It said no glass or metal liquid containers so we planned on bringing in some plastic Nalgene type water bottles. At the parking lot, we were told cannot, so we left all our supplies in the car. We were also told we could only take a very small bag, not a backpack. When we get inside we see people with hydro flasks, and we see people with full-on backpacks, and there was a guy from Germany who had a full-sized drum for crying out loud! And we were being hassled for our plastic water bottles? Give me a break. Even after I emailed local USTA contacts for guidance prior, the policy was still unclear. If so picky about it, be specific about it up front. Put it on the ticket even. Too much confusion about what could or could not be brought in. Support staff at event were great. Good booths for accessories and food/drink, albeit overpriced. The bus service needed some improvement. A larger number of smaller vehicles would have been much more efficient instead of just a few monster buses. The required off-site parking situation was not made apparent, it should be much more advertised so people don't waste time trying to drive to the site directly. Some guidelines on tennis etiquette and how this particular event was meant to be boisterous would be good to know up front. Davis Cup and Fed Cup are rowdy events. Many local tennis spectators are unaware and because of that there was much tension between the rowdy types and the proper-tennis-etiquette types. The latter simply do not know that these events are ENTIRELY DIFFERENT from any other tennis tournament type event. Make them aware. Hand out noisemakers at the entrance. Encourage yelling and cheering. I thought the German guy with the drum was awesome with his small gang of fans, but too many other people thought he was out of line. Actually, for Fed Cup and Davis Cup I thought he was pretty tame. There should have been more like him, especially on the USA side! How embarrassing for the USA not to have more vocal support... All in all my wife and I really enjoyed this event and hope to get to other pro tennis events in Hawaii in the future.

for a small venue putting on a major event for the first time everything was as good as expected. thoroughly enjoyed my time and any time the fed cup comes back here so will I! Plus you could not beat the prices for a courtside seat. Wish Ashe was less expensive.

We really enjoyed the small, intimate feel of the Holua Tennis Center's hosting of the FedCup. All the seats had a good view of the stadium with excellent views of the players and the teams. We would definitely go to another event at Holua Tennis Center, and we look forward to the FedCup and other tennis events coming to Kona!

Aloha, I was super happy when I heard that the Fed Cup was coming to Hawaii Island. I quickly renewed my USTA membership so I would be able to buy tickets on the first day that was offered to our members. I was disappointed when I tried to get the good seats though. It seems that all of the high-priced tickets were blocked. When I got to my seats I noticed that the players and some of the event support staff were sitting in those seats. I wonder if they were purposely held for those people and not for the public. As a result I did get a great seat, although in hind-sight I should have picked a seat on the other side of the stadium court for a better view,

I will start this review stating that I would recommend this event to a friend, but with warning. Buy the cheapest tickets because you may not get to see as many matches as you pay for, bring your own water if they will let you , eat before you go. I loved watching the US Team play a worthy opponent, Sweden. However, after Venus clinched the team win on Sunday (2d day) with her singles victory, a short ceremony and some flag waving followed the match and about an hour later the singles match, which would not have effected the outcome of the match, was cancelled with the excuse of weather conditions that never happened. The sun was still out. It did not rain again until Monday morning! That was extremely disappointing to fans who love doubles. We definitely did not get our money's worth. I paid $133.50 for a two day pass and saw 4 singles matches. Two very quick ones. Finally, the food and beverage prices were outrageous. Boardwalk food at Gourmet prices...$14 for a plastic cup of Yellow Tail Chard??? $3.50 for a bottle of no name bottled water? Adding one more insult, food and beverages could only be purchased with cash. There was no ATM on the premise and fans could not leave to get money and be readmitted without purchasing a new ticket and going through security. Very poorly run. I will be back, but with low expectations.

Great venue, but poor signage had us parked far from the venue and walking all the way around the stadium to find the entrance. We were running a bit late so I thought I would grab some cash from the ATM at the venue but there was none, even though it stated so on the Ticketmaster website. They also did not take CC at any of the vendors. I had to beg to be allowed to leave my wife as hostage and run back out to the bank across the street and re-enter the venue. The rain delay forced the entire stadium of people to huddle under the bleachers for cover and there were no speakers there so everytime they made an annoucemnt to update the spectators, nobody heard anything. So, we left after an hour of waiting. FORTUNATELY, we bumped into some others from the event at a restaurant in Delray Beach and they told us that they WOULD be allowing re-entry since the rain delay was excessive. We got back in time to see Serena demolish her Swedish victim. Great seats, great tennis, just a little amateurly organized for such a high profile event. YES, I would definitely attend again (just hit the ATM first)

I fully suport women's and do not think you have to have superstars in the lineup to have good matches. This was a prime example; the italians are excellent players and the USA young guns put up a pretty good fight. HOWEVER - I traveled a long way to see this playoff - especially looking forward to the doubles - and they didn't play it! BAD BAD BAD!! We actually sat closer down than our actual seats - not much closer, but below the concourse level instead of above it. Nobody hassled us which was nice, since there were so many empty seats. Beer selection was mediocre. Kettle corn was great!

Nice, clean facility! Great competition. Would attend again without hesitation.

Being a part of the tennis Fed Cup in Asheville, NC was a great experience!

One of my tennis team friends suggested a road trip to see this first round Fed Cup match -- Asheville is a great town and the Fed Cup doesn't often play close enough to where we live to actually get to see a match in person (the next round is in France) Then in January it was announced that the US team would include Venus and Serena. Woo-hoo! Fun road trip turned into opportunity of a lifetime. Maybe the best moment of all was seeing baby Alexis rooting on her mama in the stands!

The entire weekend was well organized and beautifully executed. The US Cellular Center was an ideal destination for tennis. More tennis in Asheville Please!!!

Asheville did itself proud with hosting the First Round of the FED Cup. Excellent Atmosphere and a great staff made for a great day!

What a great celebration of sport! In the sometimes reserved world of tennis, it's fun to attend an event that is rowdy! It's fun to keep the normal courtesies during the points but beat drums, blow horns and use noisemakers between the points to support your country's team. Great venue with not a bad seat in the house. Highly recommended!

The Fed Cup was amazing to watch. I was abl to see great matches with Coco, Venus and Serena. What could be more awesome! The stadium had a nice view from every seat. Again it was an awesome weekend!

Watching Venus' singles match was super exciting! Watching Venus and Serena's doubles match was spectacular!! Team USA all the way.

Worst facility I have ever been to...the worst. Worse than crowded...concourses are way too small and that is before the lines for concessions and the rest rooms. It is IMPOSSIBLE to walk around the concourse during breaks and intermissions. The concessions are unacceptable - - the staff are slow and inefficient, and there is no place for concession lines without blocking the entire concourse. The rest room facilities are TOTALLY INADEQUATE for the number of patrons in the audience, resulting in long long longer lines that also totally block the concourses and make it almost impossible for patrons to line up and have time to use the facilities during intermission. And to make matters worse, they set up the souvenir stand right by the main entrance which results in more lines blocking the concourse and making movement even more difficult. Summary: WORST facility ever!

Thanks for coming to Aseville. Venus Williams is a superstar. Coco was entertaining and Serena was just a joy to see. I wish we could have seen Karen in action so with that said please come back. My wife and I had a great time and we sit by some warm and friendly fans. Thanks again Fedcup for making it to Asheville, N.C.

It was TOTALLY AWESOME to see Venus and Coco take the win, and an extra special treat to see Serena return to competition. Not only that, she played doubles with her sister!!!! Bucket list check off✔️

The Tennis was incredible! The hosts of the event did an amazing job making you feel the importance of the competition. I wish I had know who was playing each day so I could have seen Serena play. I hope North Carolina will host more events like this in the future.

My husband and I are huge tennis fans and go to many tournaments around the country and outside of the country as well, but never FedCup! We live about an hour and a half away from the venue so it was an easy drive and we couldn't pass it up. The ticket was such a reasonable price for the great tennis that you get to watch. The atmosphere was incredible and we had such a great time.

Awesome event! I hope Saddlebrook can host this again. They did a great job.

Despite the rain delays on Saturday, people stayed and enjoyed the sessions. Sloan Stevens is up and coming, but lacks the ability to finish the point and seemed to tire.

It was great being able to watch such high caliber players from the USA in my own backyard. The patriotic feel to this match was very different from regular tennis matches where you cheer for individual players. I highly recommend going to a Fed Cup or Davis Cup event if you get the chance.

Event was well run. It was great watching our best women tennis players in such an intimate venue. We really enjoyed it in spite of the extended rain delay on Saturday!

Volunteers were a little disorganized. The stagium in Delray is great - big enough and yet intimate. Missed not having the doubles match.

This was an unbelievable event. We got to see Serena Williams play two singles matches, and Venus Williams play doubles with the #1 doubles player Liesel Huber. Christina McHale is an up and coming player and was also outstanding. Due to a "back injury" current #1 Vickie Azarenka did not play, but it was still some very good tennis. (I put this in quotes because she played a tournament that next week, so I doubt the injury claim.)

I enjoyed this and my daughter was able to get some autographs, but I felt the tickets were overpriced considering the possibility always that a star player would have to withdraw. Atmosphere was just OK. The crowd only seemed to appreciate good tennis if it was by a US player! Lots of empty seats - should have had more ability to choose seat location on ticketmaster.

Overall, I thought the event was just fair. Without Victoria azarenza playing, the competition was just not that good. I purchased the 2 day package that was originally offered, but later one day only passes were available which I would have preferred. I attend the us open in ny on a regular basis and for the cost of a day pass, I am able to see many more and better quality matches. When I purchased the tickets, I was not given a choice of seats and would have chosen to sit at a higher level. I was also not aware that the lower priced tickets would still be on the lower level of the arena, the upper half was closed off. All in all, very disappointed and pricey!!

The event was great, but the band located right next to our seats was unnecessary and a bit weird for a tennis event. Too loud when playing (because of our location), and nearly constant chatter from band members was very distracting. Next time no marching band please!

The Fed Cup was great. The venue was intimate compared to the other tennis tournaments I have attended. My seats were very close. I only wish the teams were larger so we could have seen more than 4 players over the course of 5 matches.

My first live tennis experience and it was well worth it. 2 days of excitement. Unfortunately there were a lot of empty seats.

Too bad that it was Super Bowl weekend because the ticket holders who went to the matches were treated to some great tennis. It was disappointing that Ms. Azarenko didn't play the matches that she was scheduled to play which forced her tired teammates to play more games in her stead.The Team USA played with strength and skill. It was well worth the time and money.

Nice setting, small, close up to the pros. Only negative was that Sunday started an hour earlier than Saturday, so we were an hour late. There's no schedule of events on the web site, so we rely on the tickets. One would presume that a 12:30 PM start on Saturday would be the same on Sunday. But of course when we got there late we looked at the tickets to see it started ealier. How about a little warning in the advertising - the tickets sales were required to buy in pairs. The event itself was a good one.

My wife and I had a great two days of watching world class tennis in a quite intimate setting. Seeing four number one players (present and former) in one event was amazing. I didn't think I'd ever be this close to the action.

FedCup tennis was great - especially since USA won but it was disappointing that Victoria Azrencka did not play for Belarus. Venue was great. There should be more tennis played there.

What a wonderful event! How amazing to watch Team USA up close. The crowd was especially excited to welcome Venus back to the court after her time off. Great opportunity to see women's doubles at its best (with #1 Liezl Huber and Venus playing). Liezl gets my vote for exceptional warmth and enthusiasm greeting the eager autograph-seekers. Super team!

It was amazing to have such a great view and access to the players. My daughter got autographs from Serena and Liezl Huber so the day was a success.
