Having gone to previous concerts I knew Davids show would be good, turns out, this was his best! From the very start there was so much energy. You could tell that not only the audience was having a good time but that David and the band were having a great time as well. Everything was just great and i can't wait for another David show!

This was my very first concert. David Archuleta gave such an amazing experience to me that I will never forget. I really hope he has another one soon at the Grove of Anaheim, so that this time my whole family can come and share this Amazing moment that I know David will give together.

We were pretty excited to see David in concert, but I wasnt expecting much given his history of stage awkwardness and lack of excitement and crowd involvement on American Idol. But all that has changed big time! David is a great live performer now, and his experience has obviously given him a lot of skills for performing. He is personable, open with the crowd, solicits crowd involvement, and makes his way around the stage like a pro. He's not boring at all, and to boot is a fantastic live singer. He needs no producer effects or background help. Great show.

I was in college back in 2008, when I first discovered David Archuleta. I was in my dorm room, American Idol was on, I turned around looked at my TV, in shock at his voice. It was the most beautiful sound I ever heard. Ever since that day I was a huge fan. I fell in love with David on Idol, and since then I was in love. No matter where I go, I tell everyone he is my favorite vocalist. I last saw him in concert in 2009 with Demi Lovato, When I got the notification he was coming to town this year 2018, I immediately purchased tickets. What I love most of all is his voice. The show was amazing, he performed for nearly two hours. He did most songs from his latest album Postcards In The Sky, and few hits from the first and second album. That voice is still incredible. He stated he was slightly sick, but I could not tell. It was a breath of fresh air to see him perform again after all these years! After the show, he took time to shake everyone's hand. Such a nice man, he also gave many encouraging words during the show. I love him and would see him again. Birchmere is a nice venue!

I have been a fan of David since he competed on American Idol but had never seen him in concert until now. He's the real deal. He has a very awkard and shy stage persona but it actually worked to endear him to the audience. And those vocals! His voice is crystal clear and he has complete control of his instrument. He performed some new songs off his soon to be released EP as well as some covers which included his AI audition song "Heaven." That song title pretty much sums up the concert.

David Archuleta's concert was amazing! & Gracie was wonderful too. The only thing that could have been better was if they had turned the microphones down on the guitars and other instruments just a tad. I think that maybe they are not used to playing in venues with such fabulous acoustics and didn't adjust things accordingly. It made both David and Gracie need to shout to be heard over the music and some of the enunciation of words was lost. We LOVED that David shared the reason he chose to sing the songs he did! It made the songs meaningful in a whole new way. We loved hearing about his sisters and his love for them and his family. His personality and his values shone through in all that he sang and in his conversations with the audience. His voice has changed and mellowed for the better. He was fabulous!

David A. was so energetic on stage...he sang beautifully. What a voice!! I liked that he spoke to the audience letting us know a little bit about himself. His voice was strong, clear and NEVER lost it's greatness. A true professional!! He has a maturity in his songwriting and delivery of a song. Sings with feeling; as a storyteller.

David is amazing, of course, but either his mic needs to be turned up or the guitar amps need to be turned down. It was way off balance, causing David to barely be heard! It seems so simple...something a sound manager could easily remedy, but yet the guitars were blaring and the person we came to see we could barely hear! The show overall was excellent though. His songs were amazing and there is no one with a better voice!!!

We enjoyed David's performance immensely! David is an incredibly talented singer and has a powerful message for all our youth and all of us. He is real, sharing his heart about the challenges of show-biz/life and upholding your standards in a world that is tearing them down at every turn. It was encouraging to see that there really is a role model in the music industry I would want my children and grandchildren is listen to and see. I wish David all the success he deserves! Thank-you David!

The David Archuleta concert Friday night in Boise was so much fun! David is the best live singer around. He has this incredible talent of singing each lyric with such emotion. He is also very entertaining and quite humurous when telling heart-felt, inspiring stories about his music and life. David had a great audience with a lot of energy which only enhanced the whole experience. You could tell everyone was really enjoying themselves. To be honest, I have seen David many times in concert, and he never disappoints!

The first part of the concert was for the younger, pop crowd and was "okay." I thought the band was mixed too loud (especially the drums.) At intermission, I didn't realize the INCREDIBLE TREAT we were in for during the second half! During intermission, the Lyceum Philharmonic Orchestra came out and the songs David did with them were ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING! There was a depth of musical focus, a maturity of sound, and pure beauty that was a sheer delight to listen to. The choices of songs couldn't have been better, each with a fresh, new arrangement. David's voice was awe inspiring and filled each of us will emotion. His voice is beautiful! His stirring renditions of "Ave Maria," Silent Night," and "O Holy Night," were among my favorites I've ever heard. "Pat a Pan" and Riu Riu Chiu" were also enjoyable and entertaining. We bought David's Christmas CD and have listened to it every single day since the concert and enjoy it every time! This is a recording we will never tire of. David is a true vocalist and we hope to hear much more from him in the future.

This is our 3rd year at the Grove in Anaheim to see David Archuleta...my daughter's and my annual Christmas treat! As we have come to count on, David was amazing! Every word clear, the feelings of what he sings shines through. He draws the audience in and that is why we continue to share that evening with him. Always such a good concert & we leave so "on top of the world", because he give his all! We will be sad not to see him next year with his decision to pursue his mission of faith thru his church and dedication to the path he believes God has put him on. We wish him the best of luck with that & know he is doing it for his personal reasons which we can respect. We will anxiously look forward to his return to his singing career when he has completed that part of his life. Thank you David and God bless you!

I was extremely impressed with how well planned out the show was and the work that must have gone into getting an orchestra, choirs and guest performers to be there as well. I am a musician myself and understand that even a small performance can be a lot of work. David has such a pure sounding voice and he looks like he is having the time of his life singing and performing. As a mother of an 18 year old daughter, I would love to take him home and keep him forever:) It was truly magical to be there with my daughter and experience the show. He is my favorite singer now and always!!!

David's voice, his genuinely caring nature and incredible talent all came through in rare form at his My Kind of Christmas concert. David has become a much more confident performer. I love to listen to him sing! It may be a while, but I am definitely looking forward to the next time I can see him perform! I would say I can't wait, but I will have to wait. I will miss the opportunity to hear him sing while he takes his break from music. A co-worker who is not a fan said he was surprised at how much he enjoyed the concert. I told him I was glad he was pleasantly surprised. He said, "I was much more than pleasantly surprised." When people hear David sing in person, they generally come to appreciate his enormous talent. I'd recommmend his concerts to anyone.

David Archuleta is one of the best singers, songwriters, and performers there are in this world today! He puts so much emotion and feeling into all the songs he sings, and while you're at one of his concerts, you can actually feel his heart beating through the music he is singing. Unlike so many other artists, he can just sit down at a piano and capture people's attention. Most artists need crazy costume changes, stunts, pyrotechnics, and other insane things, but he can just sing and be the center of all attention. Seeing David in concert was seriously the best night of my life.

First the show time was 7:30. David didnt come on til 8:15. Time is precious these days. SO whoever organized it needs to be more punctual. Secondly, the concert was very short, 45 mins max. that was a little disappointing. lastly parking for $10?? come on. When i got there to will call my tickets at 6pm parking was $4. WHY did it jump $6 for the event? Lastly NONE of the above should be construed as David's fault. He was just the performer, and an amazing talented one at that. If I had to rate just David's performance it would be 10 stars instead of the two I'm giving this

I went to his Christmas concert he did in Boston last year and it was AMAZING! I wish he'd go on another Christmas tour, but if not I can't wait for his next tour for his new album! He really transforms on stage. In person he's cute and shy, but then when he sings, he turns into a completely different person, with so much soul and emotion. And then the second he stops singing he becomes that shy, cute guy again. It's really interesting, and his shows are always quite an experience, whether it's the amazing notes he holds, or the random, funny things he says in bewteen songs. A David Archuleta concert is an experience you'll never forget.

First off, i LOVE how if you eat at the House of Blues restaurant you get to be the first ones into the venue! (that was a great + :D) Second, the show was amazing! Started RIGHT on time, and both opening acts were extremely entertaining! Michael and Marisa BLEW me and my friends away! We were like, aww how cute little kids and then they opened their mouths and BAM!!! Their cover of Lady GaGa was EPIC! Then Benton Paul soothed the crowd with his beatuiful vocals! Next was David! Not only did he perform christmas songs but he sang all his original songs as well! It was an amazing two act show that left me speechless from beginning to end. He sounded better live than he did on his CD and when he sang "Pat-a-pan" I was dancing away! (and it's a christmas song! lol) So, if you are a fan of David, be SURE to see him in concert! When he smiles, the whole audience smiles and when he laughs, the whole audience laughs! He's a great guy, great performer, and put on a show that I will always remember! Thanks David!

I enjoyed the setting of the Warfield - very intimate and I felt as though I was really close to the performance. Honestly I was a little worried during David's first song because the band was really loud and you couldn't really hear him. It also sounded like he was being careful with his voice, changing the arrangement to not hit high notes and such (which makes sense because it was apparent later, when he was speaking, that his voice was giving out). However, as the show went on, and most especially once he started singing Christmas songs, his fabulous voice filled the auditorium and he seemed to settle into the performance. He had a lot of energy and was responsive to the crowd (of mostly adults). I really enjoyed his duet with his mother (you can see from whom he inherited his great voice) and she seemed to enjoy herself as well. His rendition of Ave Maria gave me chills and moved me to tears, literally! He is such a master of his craft. He may seem young and "lightweight" to some, but if you are a person who enjoys a wonderful vocal performance, you can't go wrong with him.

My daughter & I attended David's concert Sat. night in Bakersfield. It was an amazing show! I enjoyed how David performed the first half of the show, appearing casually dressed to sing some of his pop hits from his debut cd as well as some nice surprises like "Fields of Gold" and "The Riddle". "Prayer of the Children" was a beautiful song he also performed that was very touching and heartfelt. His vocals were in top form and he sounded amazing! His voice filled every nook and cranny in the room and was so clear and pitch perfect! After a brief break, David appeared this time dressed more formally in a suit and tie. This was the Christmas music portion of the show and he started off with "Melodies of Christmas" a song he co-wrote. Overall every Christmas song David sang was incredibly beautiful and pitch perfect. Truly moving were his performances of "Ave Maria" and "O Holy Night". We were even treated to songs in French and Spanish as well as Latin (Ave Maria)! David is a consummate professional with a golden voice but also displays a boyish charm and killer smile! Very enjoyable show and one that will definitely get you in the Christmas spirit!

David Archuleta put on a terrific show for us in Bakersfield. The first half consisted of pop songs, including his smash hit "Crush". David connected early with his audience who appreciated his energy on stage. After a brief, 5-minute break, David came back to the stage, now decorated for Christmas, and began to perform songs from his new CD, "Christmas from the Heart". The emotion with which he sang the Christmas songs really brought out the true meaning of the season. Looking forward to seeing him again next time he tours.

I attended the July 31st, Tampa VIP and it was, AMAZING, AWESOME, UNBELIEVABLE -- OH MY GOSH!! Drove 4 hours to see HIM, NOT Demi at Sunrise the following day, August 1st. Did not have VIP because I could not afford it, but had floor seats for the 3 shows. Again he was AMAZING, AWESOME, UNBELIEVALBE and better than the night before. My last night which was in Orlando, August 2nd was the BEST!! David Archuleta was on FIRE that night. I took my 11 year old son and he sang till he had no voice left -- like me!! I DID NOT stay for any of Demi's set. No offense, but after hearing David's HEAVENLY voice there is no way I was going to ruin my ears with the screaming from Demi and the loud noise from the band. My son was not impressed by her either. Sorry!! My only regret is that they were not Solo shows. I wanted to hear more of David's voice and him talking to his loving fans!! I really hope that his Christmas Tour will be Solo Shows and in small venues. Also really and truly hope that he comes back to Florida. I am going to go NUTS just like everyone has already!!

Waiting outside in the rain for 5 hours means your a dedicated fan. Then craming yourself into a small room, all excited sweaty, and wet. Some people would think, ewww. But all of us there were thinking, DAVID! Everything went perfect, he did have one minor flaw of forgetting the words during desperate, a song he only sang live twice, once before and once that night. But that just proves that hes just a human, like everyone else. The fans helped him through the rest of the song, and at the end he just laughed at himself. David loves the smaller settings, like grandrapids, cause he can get more intimate with is fans. Singing to them, holding there hands, looking at everyone of them singley, laughing and playing along with our crazy comments "David Will You Marry Me?" :D If your a fan of david, obsessed or not, i would recommend going to anyone of his concerts!

The concert was GREAT!!! David sang almost all the songs from his CD, plus some others. He was very relaxed and joked around with his fans. It was one of the best concerts I have ever been too and I will definitely go see him again!!!!! The only thing that I was bummed about was that he never came out for pics or autographs at the end. Apparently there were too many people and if there had been 10 less, he would have come out. There were only about 30 people there...and we had waited 2 hours for him! David Archuleta shall never seize to amaze me. He just so talented. He could honestly sing the phone book and I would be impressed. He had been on vocal rest for the day but still performed very well asking the crowd if it was alright if he could get some water. The Rave on the other hand could use some work. The heat was almost unbearable and caused a member of our group to pass out. Other than that the concert was amazing just like the one at the Barrymore or any of his performances.

It was good to get down to the basics AFter years of large venues, fabulous light shows, which are great in and of themselves, if was fun going to a small venue. Seeing the artist up close and personal, watching the tweens have the time of their lives, watching the performer having fun! Still has a freshness and innocence about him--not jaded by stardom. David is an incredible recording artist, but to appreciate him completely, he must be experienced "live" in concert. His vocals are unparallelled. He's not the same "kid" as we first saw him on American Idol. He now totally controls the stage. He's the most entertaining singer I have ever seen, and he just keeps getting better and better. No one should ever miss an opportunity to see him live in concert. You will never be be disappointed! Catch his performances as his career progresses, then you can say you saw him when.....he's gonna be a superstar!

I was pleasantly surprised with the experience of watching and listening to David Archuleta (a rookie concert performer) at the Del Mar Fair. I loved that David had chosen opening acts from among those who were perfoming at the fair on much smaller stages. He definately picked two acts whose melodic music would appeal to his own fans. When David and his band finally made it onstage, I was impressed with the energy and overall musicality of the performance. It was a nice selection and variation of ensemble pieces, along with some acoustical numbers as well. I wished that David had slowed down the breathless pace between numbers so he could catch his breath, and mumble a few more words than "Great to be in San Diego". It seemed as though he and the band were in a huge hurry to get done and catch an airplane (maybe he was on his way to Boston to join Demi Lovato?. It was nice that finally - at the very end - for his encore - David sat down at the piano by himself and talked a few seconds about each song he sang. He could definately have played and sung another 10-15 minutes to give us our money's worth. I enjoyed the performance he gave, but felt just a little cheated on his performance time onstage.

I would so give more than five stars if it was possible. This was the second time I have seen Davi live. He is so awesome live. His stage presence is one that I wish other starts I have seen live. His songs are so amazing. I just wish the people who were there were more in to the show like me and my friend. But other then that everything else including David was HOT!!!

Excellent show, Second time I've seen him. He was great both times. He really has a strong voice. He is the modern day Frank Sinatra. I hope he has all the success he deserves.

Archuleta has used the past year to gain ownership of the stage. It's like this incredibly seasoned performer stole the voice of that "kid" we saw on American Idol. His voice was haunting on his ballads ie "You Can". Certainly he's alot more energetic that we ever saw cuz his bouncy "Zero Gravity" had the whole audience bouncing along with him AND his band!

David was amazing. Not only is he talented but his personality and spirit shines! David connected with his audience and even took time to come into the audience to hug a blind woman who was unable to approach the stage. David spoke of life lessons in between his songs. His voice is pure and sweet. Thank you David!

Backup too loud. Drowned out Archuleta's voice. Songs were not what Archuleta's voice is about. Or maybe I don't know what he is about??? He has such a wonderful voice. His voice is lost in the peppy music he was trying to portray and lost in the loudness of the musicians. He is better in the ballads. His voice comes out then.

David, as always, was amazing, and a delight, but difficult to hear and enjoy, because ... his new band completely overpowered him, at times even seeming dischordant. The best numbers were with David on piano, or accompanied only with acoustic guitar. The band numbers made me plug my ears to try to filter out sound so I could hear David. Take away the band, add one or two acoustic guitars (at the right sound level), use a keyboard rather than the piano, and the concert would have been amazing. Everyone at our table agreed.

This was my third time seeing David live and he never disappoints. He was on fire through the whole show and his usual sweet, cheerful self in his between song banter. He gets better with every performance and this one was no exception. If you haven't had the chance to see this brilliantly talented young man perform, do so ASAP! You won't be disappointed.

The concert itself was EPIC and was everything I had dreamed it would be! The only think that was bad, was the fact that the hostess didn't bother asking if my group and I wanted anything to drink.

David Archuleta live is an event no one should miss. I love his recordings but he takes you to a whole new world when he performs live. In this Anaheim concert, he showcased one of the best vocals I've heard of him (and I've seen him 4 times). Band is great, though at times they get really loud. I think the venue was too strict on picture/video-taking & their sound system was not the best, but overall it was an awesome experience because of the amazing solo performer. Highly recommend an Archuleta concert!!!

David is a person that loves to perform and it shows. His happiness and energy is contagious--his singing is beautiful/energetic/awesome. I liked him ever since he was on American Idol. He's grown and his voice has improved. Still enjoying it and looking forward to many years of hearing him sing. I hope he comes back to the Grove many times!

David Archuleta was amazing! We have seen him probably eight times. It has been enjoyable watching him progress in his stage presence and confidence. His voice is always second to none. Anyone's voice that sounds more incredible live then on the CD, is an epic artist.

3 of us went to this sold-out show at the Grove. I really loved Archie's songs from his new cd (The Other Side of Down). He sang 16 or more songs from his new album from his other 2 cds (even 2 from his Christmas from the Heart cd). His voice was very strong and beautiful and the band was great!! That guy has 100% control of the crowd from the minute he steps on stage. I would for sure see him again and anyone who has not seen him live should go. His concert is really worth it. So 5 stars.

David Archuleta is an incredible artist with such a powerful voice. I got chills when he sang Angel's and Falling Stars... and could have danced all night to Something Bout Love and The Other Side of Down. David always puts on a fantastic show and pours all of his passion & energy into each performance. Definitely a highlight for me for 2010!

This is the second time we went to see David Archuleta. We have loved him and have appreciated his talent since on American Idol. He is still gracious and dedicated to his life, whether it be his faith, family, music or fans...all are extremely important and you see that in not only his performance but when he speaks. His song choices were great and bringing in 2 Christmas pieces really made the night. We went to the Christmas Tour (2009) last year where the majority of songs were Christmas based. So to capture a bit of that from him before this year ended was a little treasure. Continue on David...you most definitely bring a lot of Joy to the World! One little suggestion? The band seemed very loud at times and it actually drown David out...maybe they could ease up a teeny weensy bit so we could hear who we came to hear?

Can't tell everyone how much I enjoyed David Archuleta's performance. Every song is such perfection. His voice translates all emotions: hope, encouragement, love, joy, and most of all, love of life. This young man is pure joy to watch and he transmits this emotion to everyone single audience member. Can't wait for his next concert.

David can sing, however the sound engineer was a pile o crud. Way too much harmonic feedback from the piano. The band overpowered David many times and the drums were given too much front. I didn't hear any correction of the poor mix throughout the concert. Perhaps the "Grove" ought to find another sound tech, very poor mix. Also I could have done without the multi-beam spotlights in my face...

David has not had an official tour in 2010. So it has been a while since he had a longer set of songs with a full band. Dallas was well worth that wait! His band was amazing, very professional, great back up vocals, and David brought his'A 'game as he always does! His vocals were spot on as always, but his stage presence was at a whole new level from the moment he stepped on stage, to the moment he left. He had his audience engulfed in the music within the first couple of notes of Somehting bout Love, and never lost that momentum thourghout. The energy from his band and himself was incredible! He not only tries to connect with the audience in the front row, but his voice soars throughout the venue, and he makes the connection with even the people in the third story balcony. Anyone who has a true love for music needs to see this young man perform live!

David gave his time and talents this weekend to benefit the Children's Medical Center in Dallas. There is no way that I can adequately put into words how truly amazing David Archuleta was live at the Majestic Theater. The only downside to the show was that it ended much too soon. I can't wait for David to come back to Texas and I'd love to see him at the Majestic again.

I attended the Dallas December 3 concert with a sellout crowd. David was amazing. The music, the voice, the dancing! The guy was on fire and all the proceeds went to the Dallas Children's Hospital. David is one unique performer and humanitarian. If you ever get a chance to attend one of his concerts - go - you will not be disappointed. You will have to ask yourself is it live or Memorix? This 20 year can definately sing and he does not need any flashing lights, autotune or hidden tricks that other singers use. He combined a pop concert with some Christmas songs thrown in.

David's voice was incredible as always. He actually seems to have improved since I saw him two years ago - more consistent vocally and more comfortable when speaking on stage. I enjoyed the setlist, which was a mix of songs from his Christmas album (this was the bulk of the night), some songs from his other two albums, and his take on some Christmas favorites (Sleigh Bells, This Christmas). The first half of the night was more upbeat and poppy whereas he mellowed it down in the second half. It was heartwarming and touching, definitely put me in the Christmas mood! He always puts on a great show and makes sure everyone feels included and entertained. Such an infectious smile! Please come again soon!!!! The venue was intimate and pretty. Probably not a bad seat in the house. Food was tasty but service was spotty, probably only because they didn't expect so many people to order food. Our main server was on it, but the others were slow, forgetful, and inattentive. Don't forget to check your receipt before you pay because they seem to have a tendency to mix them up between nearby tables. Almost got stuck with a bill $80 more than what I ordered!

I try to see David at least once a year, every year and he never ceases to amaze. This show was no exception. He's gotten even better since I last saw him. Pitch perfect vocals on every song, amazing energy on his pop hits and incredible reverence for the Christmas classics. David is, quite simply, born to sing and if you haven't seen him live then you're seriously missing out. He gets better and better with every show :)
