My sister and I took three of our children to see this performance of Cats. It was my third time to see the musical, and their first. We all enjoyed it. My six year old daughter was eagerly anticipating the Macavity set and was always asking when it was going to come up. It seems that I told her after every song that she would need to wait until near the end! Of course, they pump fake Macavity a couple of times, and her patience was tested, but it was worth the wait! We loved the actors' performances in mimicking cats, singing, and dancing. Our seats were in a box behind the orchestra seating, and some of the actors came into the box or sat right on the rail. I've always loved that aspect of this musical, getting to be up close with the actors and personally engaging with them. The kids loved it. Casa Manana was a great place to see this musical because of the intimate feel of the venue. I highly recommend it and will look into other performances at this venue.

This show was terrific beyond words. I wasn"t expecting such a stellar performance from those young people. They were all great. I couldn"t get over the stage voices they have. I saw this play on Broadway and this performance was almost as good. I'm sure some of the actors will make it to the Broadway stage. I left the theater that night feeling very much satisifed. I just can't say enough about it. There should have been more than three performances so more people could have seen it.

As someone who saw CATS on Braodway many years ago and loved it, I wanted to take my children to see it as well. This performance excellent and reminded us so much of why we saw it the first. The choreography was excellent and did not fail to impress. We loved it so much, we would see it again.

I have already responded once as to my seat, but would like to mention a few other remarks, if I may. I noticed on some reviews that people stated they couldn't hear & had no idea what the plot of the musical was. CATS is a very unique performance & can easily be understood by reading T. S. Eliot's book "Old Possum Book of Practical Cats"!! I am so sorry to hear they were basically in the dark during the performance. CATS is such a magical show even without knowing what is going on. But my advice would be before you go to any show that you aren't familiar with the subject, check the papers for articles, google, ask friends, & familiarize yourself with the basics facts. I also saw comments about the lack a full orchestra, versus the music provided for CATS. I think the way it was done was perfect!! Casa Mañana is a small venue & a full orchestra would take away from some of the songs. I believe the hardest song to hear is the AD-Dressing of Cats. But they are whispering as if in reverence. I can say nothing bad about this performance & thought the whole production was fantastic!!! Just sorry to hear there were some disappointed or left not understanding the plot. Again it was great to have native Texans in the cast & all were well versed in nuances of a CAT!!!!

Having seen the remarkable Cats in London 3 times (incl. Sarah Brightman), I was very impressed with this local production. The voices were excellent, and the dancing and tumbling skills were absolutely wonderful. The casting was simply magnificent. Maurice Johnson as Old Deut, and Daniel Self as Munkustrap were so very excellent. But for me it was Andrew Wilson as Mr. Mistoffelees who stole the show. The staging and props were also very good considering the available space at this venue. I must say I never tire of this Cats production and hope that Casa will keep it in its rotation. Job well done!

The musical was wonderful; the singing and dancing were great. The musical ensemble did a good job of playing the music normally played by an orchestra, Would have liked a better experience at intermission; very long lines and moved slowly. Any thoughts to having a "cash only" line?

I had seen CATS in FW around 20 years ago when my daughter was 12. This time I took my 5 year old granddaughter. We had fantastic seats on the 3rd row on the aisle!! My grand daughter had on a cat tail & ears. As the Cats crept up & down the aisle, many stopped to play & paw at her tail! She was so delighted & we are still talking about it!!! A perfect Memory she will never forget!!! Specials thanks to Jordan Miller, Andrew Wilson, Merrill West, & Kelsey Milbourn for making her feel like a kitten in the presence of the Magnificent adult CATS!!!!! Aubrey Adams as Rumpleteaser was a delight & her favorite to mimic. Jeri Sager sang beautifully! So glad to see so much local talent in this cast!!!

My 8 y.o. daughter and I attended the Saturday night show and were seated at the corner of a section where performers passed as they entered and exited scenes (ie, broke through the fourth wall). The vocal talent, choreography, athleticism, costume design, make-up, audio, and set design were unequaled by other Casa Manana shows. This was by far the best collection of talent I have seen at any show. The performers were amazing on stage, and each was completely feline in personality as they crawled, ran, strut, or leaped by us. A few even paused to interact in their cat way with my daughter, whether it was a paw touch, a stare, or display of cat playfulness. The performers were absolutely incredible and brought the personality of each cat to life. I have seen many shows but this one truly was among the elite best of best in terms of energy and passion. We stayed for the post-performance producers circle cabaret show and was entertained with song and stories by various cast and crew. The show was a completely magical experience for my daughter who dreams of the stage. BRAVO!

I saw this show on Broadway back in 1985! It was so cool. Our dance company (University of Tennessee) did our own version of the show. No musical theatre, only dancing...but it was too fun. We crawled around in the audience, too. I wish there had been more of that in the upper sections...I think they went about 10 rows from the stage, from what I could see. CATS is a show NOT to miss. Love it!

A very good company, not always the case with the touring shows, especially when they get to Syracuse and put on all the understudies. But a very weak play. I cannot belive this was once the "BIG" thing. The first act was one of the weakest, most thin acts I have every seen. There is so little to this play they ended up doing the signature song, Midnight, 3 times just to fill in space. Maybe if you don't know any better the staging, costumes, and makeup are enough for you to be satisfied. But if you believe the actual play is the most important thing, you will be disappointed. Might be OK for young kids, but I have a feeling even they would get bored. I saw a couple nodding off near me during this performance.

I took my 7 year old son to see a matinee performance of this touring production of Cats because it was a magical experience for me when my mom took me 25 years ago in New York City at the Winter Garden Theatre. The excitement of going to the theatre gave the afternoon a great energy in an of itself. Amid the hustle and bustle of theatregoers my son and I found our spectacular loge box seats and situated ourselves for the performance. The performance made an impression on my son ,although he was unsure of specific lyrics, but he could make out some of the story through the dance interpretation. He loved the costumes and certain intentionally funny moments. He was also enthralled by reading the Playbill and just by being there in general. I have lived in NYC as a performer and avid theatregoer and am more of a critic as a result. I found the performance overall to be a little lackluster and the energy of the performers to be lower than I would have liked, but which is not unusual for a matinee performance, especially on a tour. The quality of the talent wasn't lacking but I just got the impression they had done this a hundred times and weren't out to impress anyone in particular. That having been said, it was still an enjoyable production, I just didn't think they brought their "A" game for us. But I would like to see each performance played as though it is opening night in New York City and the Director is present. Regarding the set, I can still recall the regalia of it from my youth 25 years prior (or perhaps my child's mind has embellished it some). But the touring set of this present production was a little average in that it was obviously designed to be put up and torn down quickly and transported to anytown, USA. I would still recommend this production of Cats to friend and family because I think it suffices as a "Broadway" experience as much as we will get in this neck of the woods. And there were certainly enjoyable moments that came in the form of watching the performers move and dance and sing as cats. In fact, some of the technical aspects of the dancing and singing were quite impressive. As we left my son thanked me for the experience and said it "was the best day ever!" so that is good enough for me.

I have wanted to see this show just about since it began many years ago. This is nothing like I thought it would be. Still very entertaining. I am still trying to figure out just WHAT a 'jelico cat' is. I have a grey Tabby (mixed with Siamese)8 yr old male and a med/long haired Russian Blue(mixed with Classic Tabby) almost 5 yr old Female. During intermission, the big old scraggly(actor) cat just sat up there in the center, trying to blend in. I wonder how many people actually saw him. That was pretty cool. I liked how some of the cats, (actors) ran around through the isle ways. Lots of lights and action. Did not see any dog(s) thou. Might have been interesting too.

This musical tells the story of a group of cats behaving like, well, cats. Their antics and emotions relate directly to human behavior, including sex, violence, egotistical pride, love and empathy and forgivness. There is a flashback of the old Growltiger and Grizabella to an earlier time on a ship when they were very fearsom , respected and sexuually alluring . The entire company of cats reflect on this long life and finally forgive and embrace Grizabella as she is dying and honor Growltiger as an upstanding member of thier society. The ballet moves were good, the songs were great. The props, lighting design and sound effects were amazing . There was interaction with the audiience with cats running around the orchestra and at one point even dancing with them. The music, while great, was not live , however. I did not get what the message of T.S. Eliot's poetry was from the play. The musical lyrics of Andrew Lloyd's "Memory" would suggest , however, that a reflection of one's life is a beautiful and profound experience, which has healing powers, which is a timeless message relevant to us all.

Old Deuteronomy, Mr. Mistoffelees, and expecially Grizabella! They were outstanding. When Grizabella stood up and belted out "Touch me, it's so easy to leave me.." I got chills. I was worried I wouldn't be able to enjoy anyone but Elaine Paige as Grizabella, but this woman was just amazing. Mr. Mistoffolees wowed me with his dance moves. It's just unbelievable to watch anyone, especially a man, dance that way. Sillabub (or, as I know her, Jemima) was pitch perfect when she joined in for Memory. My one complaint was that The Rum Tum Tugger was a little too over-the-top. I know he is supposed to be like an Elvis-kitty, but he was forcing his voice to do these strange yelp-like sounds in his song and it took away from his performance, in my opinion. It could be that I'm just used to the way he sounds on the CATS dvd and the official soundtrack, but I really felt that the one in this show could have sounded so much better. I know he could have. When he chilled and sang the Mr. Mistoffolees song, he sounded wonderful. The Tugger's singing aside, he was hilarious with his dancing. He even went out into the audience and danced with a woman. Overall, the show was outstanding. A must see.

Cats was a night full of feline energy!! I must say that the first act was a little boring with most of the numbers based around the Jellicle Cats and the Jellicle Ball. A little too much for my taste! The second act was a totally different story with the energy renewed but also the whole cast took a new direction. Very clever moments, the whole program took on a new look! Lots of action and props. A real story line...renewed my interest in the whole performance. My daughter Amy, 3 year old granddaughter Kasey and myself Mema went to this show. It was my granddaughters 1st time to the theater.. She sat mesmerized through the beginning and pointing at the actors saying "They're looking at me!" In the second half she decided to get up and dance to the music. This was an extremely memorable day for us that we will never forget. Pictures were taken so that "Kasey" will always have keepsakes for her first trip to the theater. I've been wanting to see CATS ever since it opened on Broadway 20+ years ago. I finally had my chance, and it was everything I'd hoped it would be. The cast is phenomenal, as is the costumes and makeup. The theater is small, so I think it would be hard to get a bad seat. I think children would enjoy the music and the cats themselves, but I don't think they'd understand the story line. We arrived about an hour or so before showtime with our tickets already printed. The line gets really long, and they don't let you in til about 15 minutes before it starts, so getting there early with tickets paid off. Also, if you go after dinner or shopping please note that the only food allowed is of the "souvenir" variety from the M&M store. Not sure about the Hershey store, so find out in advance. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend for adults and teens.

Paid $80 for decent seats taking my 6 year old to show. Show was cast with HS and College kids. Signing was good, dancing OK as well BUT the sound system was horrible and mucked up several times through out the performance causing people to cover their ears. People next to us never returned after intermission. Energy of the show lagged as well. All in all, was OK since it was for the benefit of my 6 yr old but if I had been with another adult I would have been extremely disappointed vs. just disappointed. Was not worth the money paid. Note: I am a professional actor and teacher with a conservatory education.

From the overture to the finale, this was an outstanding production! While the cast ranged in age from high-school to college, you never thought you were watching a "school" production. As a full cast, the vocals were superb, enhanced by the magnificent orchestra. The lead performers were all strong, with clear, full-toned voices and expressive acting. There were many excellent dancers, and the set and lighting all conveyed the feel of the original Broadway show.

My family enjoyed the show greatly. There were some issues with sound and feedback but the performance was very professional and the talent was impressive. Our only complaint was with the audience and lack of any kind of reprimanding for behavior. There was a woman on text the ENTIRE show lighting up the audience around her, and there were multiple families that were making a tremendous amount of noise, not ushering small children out when necessary and so forth. I feel the staff at the PAC could be a little more on top of that with their performances.

This is the third time that my wife and I have attended a production of Cats, and this one was by far the best and most enjoyable. I can find no fault with anything other than the uncomfortable seats that we sat in.

The performance was extremely entertaining. I found myself smiling throughout the whole production. The voices were awesome and the dancing impressive. On the other hand, the "story" was difficult to follow and there wasn't an explanation in the brochure. It also would have been helpful if the brochure showed a picture of the Cat, the name of the Cat, and the name of the performer.

This was undoubtedly the absolute worst show I've ever seen at Casa Manana. My friend and I left at the intermission. Back in the good old days Casa was a great venue, but with their current "electronic music" I plan to never go back again. No way did two keyboards take the place of a live orchestra, especially for a Broadway play of this caliber. The cast members with the exception of a few also did not seem to be up to Casa's former standards. What a shame. This theater could be a great boost to the Fort Worth cultural scene, but this current show is anything but that! I'm really disappointed to have blown $75 X 2 for these tickets.

CATS at Casa Mañana was excellent- the costumes, lighting, sets, choreograpy and vocals! Love the small, intimate nature of Casa Mañana. Great way to enjoy a musical.

The show was wonderful from beginning to end! The cats interact with the audience the whole time, so that was an unexpected surprise. The show was at Casa Mañana and I had never been before. To my surprise, parking was free and the venue was rather intimate. Looked like there was not a bad seat in the house. They even had a full bar in case you wanted to enjoy an adult beverage. Only downside...there was no souvenir shop :-(. Fabulous show and it was lovely to see something that is no longer on Broadway.

Didn't really know what to expect. Costumes, acting & singing were wonderful. First time to see a play at Casa Manana. Not a bad seat in the house. Just awesome play!! I was able to borrow the book the play was based on from a friend - the poems just jumped at me after seeing the play.

Our first time at Casa Manana and it was an excellent experience. It was our 4th time to see Cats and it was top notch. Jeri Sager's voice was awesome as were many of the other performers. It was the most acrobatic of the performances we have seen. Our seats were in Box F, first row and the cats were by our seats frequently during the performance. WOW!

First time for my 11 year old Granddaughter....your production was first class. All the cast were accomplished triple threat performers. Loved the back story of 'Gus' and 'Sillabub'. How special ! My daughter and 'Grand' were as pleased as the first time to see Cats in NYC.

This was an amazing show that was so professional that we felt like we were in New York on Broadway. We were blown away by the cast of fabulous, hard working professional dancers and singers, and their amazing acrobatics abilities.. Being a cast member in this show would be like running a marathon every night.. Their make-up was perfect and so professional that I thought each performer surely had their own make-up artist. We loved this performance and would highly recommend this show to all at any age!

The actors and singing were very good. Very pleased with the production. If someone is in the mood to see Cats, they would be very pleased with this company. First time at Casa Manana and very surprised and pleased with the seating. More intimate than Fair Park or AT&T Theater. Good visibility in all areas. Will look forward to returning for future productions.

It was a great show! The theater provides intimacy which is lacking in other venues. The troupe is very talented- not just in singing/music but in athleticism as well.

A fantastic Broadway/London West End quality production of Lloyd Webber's CATS. The actors are fantastic, Actor's Equity performers who have this show rocking.

It has been many years since I first saw CATS in Atlanta. I had forgotten how much fun it is! This performance was totally on par with my original experience. Top broadway caliber performers, who deliver energy and excitement with every move. The songs are still memorable, leaving you humming them days after. I took my 8 yr old granddaughter to this performance. She absolutely loved it -- wants to go see it again before it leaves town. The intimacy of the Casa Manana stage puts the action right in the audience's lap. There isn't a bad seat in the house. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

It's been about 20 years since my parents took me to see Cats for the first time. I fell in love with it then and love it even more now. With Casa Manana being a small theater, you could see every characters' facial expression and from my seat I could even hear the characters' voices without the microphone. The actors were absolutely amazing and embraced every aspect of their individual character. If I could have afforded a ticket to every showing I would have.

I remember watching CATS when i was a kid on a VHS with my parents. Ever since then I have wanted to see it live. At this performance I was over thrilled with how it was done and how well it was performed. The actors were AMAZING and my wife still is raving about it. She is so happy that we got to see it.

I had not been to CATS in about 15 years. It was just as great as I remembered. Probably even more so because this one was at CASA a smaller more intimate theater. I took my 8 yr old granddaughter to see CATS for the first time. She loved how some of the players came out in the audience and interacted.

We have seen Cats many times, it is one of my favorite shows. This performance was very well done, the quality of the dancing, vocals, and orchestra was excellent. The only small complaint I might have is that there were a couple of the soloists that were difficult to hear.
