One of the best shows ever. Jamie Johnson and Chris Hennessee were phenomenal

Jamey Johnson is the real thing. We saw him at Farm Aid 2 years ago and really liked him. He just sang a few songs. What a treat to have hi and a 10 piece band complete with a horn section!!! He sang for 2 hours nonstop and we loved every minute of it. Of course we went online to see where else we can see him. And onto Amazon to get some cds.

What a great show. Jamey played for a couple hours and we still weren't ready for the show to end. He played all his greats and did great job on a few covers too. We'll be back again next time.

Jamey started shortly after 9 and played till 12:15! Played a lot of songs off the new album and almost all the songs off the Lonesome song cd! Tons of great cover too many to list.

It was great to see Jamey Johnson in person and be so close to the stage, but it seemed as if some of his songs just kept dragging on and on. And he sings so close to the microphone, that half the time you couldn't even understand what he was singing/lyrics.

If you want a lesson in country music, this is the show you gotta see. No politics or complaining, just music. Great covers of songs I hadn't heard in years. The band was dead on. The opener was great too.

Jamey is a great song writer and an outstanding singer. He needs a little help on the entertainer role. The show last night was much longer than I expected, so you could say we got our money's worth. Trouble is, half the crowd had left or at least gone back and sat down before the best part of the show happened. Jamey is a very likeable performer, but needs to show a little more concern for the fan base and liven up the show a bit. Realizing his song base is emerging, doing a few replays of Haggard, Jones, Jennings, Cash or Nelson would have been well received by the crowd. I would have gladly traded a few replays of old favorites sung the Johnson way for some of the 18 different slow melodies that bored the audience to departure during the middle of the show.

warm up band SUCKED!!!! the sound in the Val Air Ballroom was the worst EVER!!! I will never go back and I will try and catched Jamey's new album but if he has warm up bands like that I won't pay to see him again.

He didn't start playing his good stuff until the end when half the crowd was gone.. Long concert!

For those who have lost faith in current country music artists, take heart. Jamey Johnson is a breath of old school country air. With an amazing band, Jamey took the stage for a non-stop performance of his music and great covers. Jamey said very little from the stage. Instead, he let his music do the talking. Great evening and a great venue.

Jamey is a truly, down to earth, guy!! He put on a great show at the Ritz!! Simple, good, county music that you don't hear any more!!! The staff at the Ritz were just as nice. I WILL be back for more concerts!!!

HE NEVER TAKES A BREAK. NEVER TALKS BETWEEN SONGS. JUST SOLID PLAYING FROM START TO FINISH. AND PLAYS A VERY LONG SET....SAME EVERY TIME I SEE HIM!

Jamey Johnson writes and sings sings songs that speaks to your heart and tugs at your soul. Jamey is just Jamey, and he is awesome.

The concert was a great time. Robert Randolph and the Family Band killed it before the show. This was the first time for me to see Jamey Johnson live. He has an amazing sound. Sounds just like the cd. I would definitely recommend people to go see him perform.

3rd time seeing Jamey Johnson, the first 2 were large outdoor venues and were extremely forgettable. The smaller indoor venue was exactly what I was hoping for. Fantastic show, 2 full hours of his hits and some hits from all the greats.

The show was ok . He just stands there and sings and plays guitar I like an artist to get the crowd going and he really didn't do it

My first time to see Jamey Johnson live. He and his band really entertained a packed house at Horseshoe Casino in Robinsonville, MS. They literally played non-stop for 2 hours straight, with very little talking the entire night. He gave what the crowd came for.

Jamey Johnson is certainly not a cookie-cutter country artist! He has amazing musical talent and an amazing deep voice. He and his band play their songs to make you believe that is what they really love to do. Loved every single minute and would absolutely pay to see him again anytime!

Jamey Johnson is a great pure traditional country artist - at that he excels! Don't go to a JJ concert with any expectations of meet n greets, crowd interaction, encores, etc, quite simply it is just not his way. Do go to a JJ concert to hear a great singer, sing great songs. And don't make the mistake of trying to shoot a video / still shot while he is performing, that is a definite NO NO.

Great show! Front row, dead center. Wish Chris Henessee would have opened too. Jamey's version of You are my Sunshine is the darkest song I have ever heard. The Ride was special to me....thanks to Cowboy. The whole band was tight like always. Best thing going in country or any genre right now. Jamey as a writer is one of the few that puts chills down my spine like Dylan does to me. Honest artist w a killer band that will rock your face off!!!!

Jamey Johnson and his band were incredible as always. We enjoy going to see him in small Venues. Joes on Weed street in Chicago was great and this venue at the River City Casino in St Louis was awesome! We missed him in Columbia MO were we hear he played until after 3am. AWESOME!!

Hands down the best concert I've ever been to. My boyfriend and I saw another country show the night before and although it was great, it was just so impersonal in comparison to Jamey Johnson's show. Johnson's performance and style is second to none. No frills. No crazy over the top show. His talent, love of America, the pride in the people that come to see him, that is what shines through!! Pure talent. This quiet man has a gift to bring so many diverse people together and give them his music, his life stories through his songs, and leaves them with memories for a lifetime. Thank you Jamey! Come back to the New England area more!! Western Mass would be awesome!!!

Jamey put on a great show and he was worth the wait. I hope he'll come back again next year.

This concert was very good. The opening act played a short set and was actually a good singer. Jamey Johnson was amazing as always. This was my first time seeing Merle Haggard and I was not disappointed at all...........great show.

Merle is still a showman in his 80's ... he and his band wowed the crowd with their mix of hits and seldom-heard numbers

He had the house rockin and it was so awesome I got back to MA and booked seat at Indian Ranch

My son and I went to see JJ on April 26. It was a 2 hour drive but well worth it! The people in Jim Thorpe were terrific! Everyone we met couldn't have been nicer. But now for the show. What a show! He did not dissapoint. He paid a great tribute to one of the all time greats, George Jones, who just passed that same day. Jamey's voice is amazing! He played every song I wanted to hear, plus many more that I did not expect! I would do that again and again! What a great time my 16 year old son and I had.

I first saw Jamey Johnson at The Block in Fort Walton Beach several years ago right before he won the Best New Country Artist award and was not very well known, and he impressed me so much with his incredible song writing and authentic country style. Then a couple of years ago he opened for Kid Rock in Pensacola and put on another great show. So I was surprised to see that he was coming back to a small venue like The Block and I couldn't wait to see him again. I have been going to concerts for many years and have seen a lot of big name bands, and this was one of the best shows I have ever seen! He and his awesome band played for almost 3 hours and did all of his best known songs from his CD's, as well as a lot of covers from everyone from Patsy Cline to ZZ Topp. I really had figured that with it being a smaller venue for him, that he would play a short set, but they kept playing and playing and never even took a break. It was an amazing concert, and he is one artist that I will go see again and again.

This concert exceeded any expectations that I may have had. The best concert that I've ever seen. His voice is strong and rich, capable of smoothness or soulful depth. I will not miss any future Jamey Johnson concerts in the area.

Great mixture of old covers and Jamey Johnson material. Great backing band. Jamey was in great voice. My wife, who was lukewarm about going, thought it was great. Only thing we didn't like was the large percentage of the crowd that kept talking throughout the show.

Was so excited to see Chris Hennessee play with him, was a surprise! Was a great concert and venue!

If you like authentic county music and in addition Jamey Johnson comes to your home town, YOU HAVE TO GO SEE HIM. He sang almost 3 hours nonstop -- only rarely stopping to drink water. He sang all good songs -- even some that were made famous by outer musicians.

The opening act really got the audience going well for starters. Jamey Johnson and his band played non-stop / consecutively for 2.5 hours and had Richmond, Virginia singing along to every song. I am a huge Jamey Johnson fan to begin with, but this concert exceeded my expectations and set the bar for how all other concerts should be. Definitely got our money's worth out of going to this event and couldn't be happier.

We set our expectations low after hearing complaints from others. I will say, that their points were valid. He did exactly what they complained about, but we still loved the show. Things we heard prior to the event: 1. He will come out and not acknowledge the crowd - Check. He said hello after the first song, but that was about it. Aside from acknowledging the city in one song, he wasn't all about getting to know the crowd. 2. He'll start with some of his own songs, but not many - Check. He definitely hit the highlights, but you're not going to hear his entire catalog. 3. He'll follow that up with covers - check. He did an amazing tribute to Tom Petty and we loved it. He hits the classic country stars and his voice is perfect for that. No complaints from me. 4. He'll follow that with a round of patriotic songs and hymns - check. He had about a 4-5 song medley that started out patriotic and ended in hymns. The audience ate it up. 5. He'll end the show with "This Little Light of Mine" and he won't come back for an encore - check. I was actually grateful for this advice. By the end of the show I was really way past the point that I needed to use the restroom. I had been contemplating trying to run to the restroom before this, but kept putting it off because I was dreading fighting the general admission crowd and attempting to find my way back to my group. When I heard him start this, I knew I could head to the restroom and beat the after-concert crowds. I could hear the end of the show, but I didn't see it. It was a decent trade-off if you ask me. Restrooms on the floor of the venue only have 5 stalls in the women's room. A bit too small, but it wasn't horrible. Overall, we loved his singing, his 9-piece band, and the venue. The room is fairly small and intimate for such a large name. They had it set up with general admission on the floor (standing-room only), and assigned seats in the risers. We loved that we were able to get up so close, but standing for so long on the hard concrete floor was tough. You also have to deal with the jerks who crowd in front of you mid-way through the show. We witnessed an altercation with just such a person. Security was on it almost immediately. I was scoping out the risers as we have seats reserved there for another show (the cheapest seats available), and really agree with most reviewers that there is no bad spot in the room since it's so small. The concessions weren't terribly crazy on pricing. A mixed drink was $7 and it was not weak. Not sure on the beer prices. I would definitely recommend seeing a show there. Only complaint we had (and I've seen it in other reviews) is the air conditioning in the room. It was hot! I have no idea how Jamey managed to get through that entire concert with all that hair and beard wearing a leather jacket!?! They really need to look into controlling the temps better. As for Jamey, we loved him. If the things listed above don't bother you, you'll have a great time. He and the entire band really put on a good show.

Jamey Johnson is real country music. Not some trendy, corporate, bro-Country sounding the same as everyone else singing about a party at the lake. Jamey is the Waylon Jennings of this age and he can carry the torch for country music with pride. His own songs are amazing and he has the ability to cover other artists, sounding even better than the original! He s got a pretty big band-10 members- and they were tight. Very talented musicians. I will do all I can to see him again ASAP

Intimate setting and an awesome show, could have listened to Jamey and this incredible band all night long! If you ever get the chance to see Jamey and this band you will not be disappointed, an incredible amount of talent that ranks right up there with the many live performances I have seen in 50 + years of concerts! I will not miss Jamey when he comes back around.

Concert was GREAT! He has a wonderful voice. He also sang a couple songs with his Dad..HoJo....who can also sing really well. They played the entire time..with no breaks or fills.

Beautiful weather,great country music and sound quality , beautiful venue, very clean venue and friendly workers. Only thing I would add is more Men s restrooms long waits at the men s restrooms

If you have the chance to go see Jamey Johnson, do it.

Jamey Johnson is great in concert would see him again. I don't think I would go to the Hollywood Casino Event Center in West Virginia again because the seating sucks, the chairs are way to close together.

We got the tickets to see Cody Jinks because we absolutely love him. This was our first time to see Jamey but I must say he was awesome!

I like Jamey Johnson much better on CD than in concert. The opening act, #RayScott, put on a much better show than JJ. I would pay to see Ray Scott again, not so on Jamey Johnson.

Jamey and his band were amazing. Prior to the show some of the band members were out in the crowd shaking hands and just hanging out. Show itself was amazing better than advertised. I will pay to see him any time he is within one state of me. Please go see the Nikki Mitchell foundation

He put on an amazing show. We came with high expectations & left feeling totally satisfied with his talent! His band was spot on! The venue was excellent - I don't think there is a "bad" seat in the house. Just the right size to feel like you are a part of it! My husband & I will definitely be back for another show!

This was my 4th time seeing him and he gives me chills every time! Penn's Peak is a small but quaint venue and they sound amazing there. Hell, the crowd even sounded amazing singing without him!

Jamey is a truly talented singer and musician! His voice and presence is indescribable! He paid tribute to Merle, and did an awesome job with all of Merle's songs. It was an honor to spend time with Noel Haggard as well! CC is the best!!!

He gave a good show. Sang for almost two hours straight. Not much interaction with audience but then that is not his thing. Jerk in front of me with cell phone almost got his head knocked off.

Jamey Johnson walked on stage & owned it throughout his entire performance. His connection to the fans in this small venue was sincere & genuine. Interestedly enough, his fans were a mix of 20 - 60 year olds, who intermingled as one voice to sing along with almost every song. From beginning to end, Jamey drew all into his world of heartache, love, life's triumphs & lows - with an honest intensity born of sheer unleashed raw passion.

Jamey is the best! He is true country music! We have been to three Jamey concerts and will keep going back everytime!

My wife and I saw Jamey at the Salem Civic Center. Be advised the even though there are not alot of steps there are NO handrails to assist tranversing them.Jamey and his 10 piece band just moved from one song to another always seemed Jamey would start playing some little riff on his acoustic guitar an it would morph into something beautiful.Last time we saw them was an outdoor venue and a thunderstorm broke upon us and our chairs sunk into the mud, lol. Will see him again once he comes to our area again. We drove from Richmond, Va to Salem to see him in an indoor venue, little chance of thunderstorms that way.

A great concert and would definitely go back to see him again!

Jamey Johnson's voice is amazing. His band is incredible, from the drummer, to the saxophone player, to the trumpet player, to the dulcimer player, to the harmonica player, to the guitarists.

Jamey Johnson did an amazing show. They whole place was singing. The venue is small, so it s very personable.

He put on a good show and I love his music BUT at the end of the night when we went to take pictures, he was arguing with some fans. We overheard him say No One could afford him. and was just screaming hateful things at the fans. We couldn't believe it. He was very hateful and conceited!!!!! We wont be wasting our money on him again and wish nothing but the worst for him here on out......

Jamey Johnson is NOT a performer/entertainer!!! He is an artist so if you genuinely love his music then his concert will not be disappointing. If you are looking for entertainment, this is the wrong event for you. I m not certain that he even said hello or goodbye to the crowd or even acknowledged he had one. He got on stage, sang, and left- but then again nobody came because they loved to hear him talk either.

We went to see Jamey Johnson in Macon and his opening act was Molly Stevens and she did an excellent show very talented and Jamey Johnson did awesome as well. He sang from the time he came on stage until he left and had a really awesome band too.

This was the worst concert I ve ever attended. When I purchased the tickets on line thereby was no indication that they were for the floor and standing only and I did t find out until we arrived at the venue. So, I had to spend $172 more in order to actually have seats for my party of 4. I spend $334 dollars for the worst concert ever! Jamey Johnson was awful! He never once addressed the audience. He simply stood here and attempted to sing. And very badly I might add. Concert goers were drunk and fights broke out on the floor. No securitybto be seen sonit became a free for all! Very disappointing! We

This was a great concert. One of the best I have been to. The Venue was perfect.

From moody country blues to a rousing singalong of the Star Spangled Banner, Jamey pretty much did it all. He started off his no nonsense, nonstop 2-1/2 hour show with several slow and thoughtful songs that I really enjoyed. Since this is the first time I d seen him live, I was surprised by his guitar playing. He has an easy and unique style and puts a lot of soul into that big flattop. He got things moving a little faster with a couple of rockers and covers that had the crowd on their feet singing along and dancing in their seats. He brought up a guest guitarist (who was that?) and got down on some good old delta blues where each member of the huge band did a solo to showcase their exceptional talents. All in all, Jamey was humble, respectful, and simply performed his songs to his best ability. Hats off to Jamey!

We were able to meet Jamey Johnson after the concert, and we were humbled by his genuine acts of kindness! We want to thank him and ask that he come back to Beaumont in the future! Thanks to Lenny Caballero for making this possible!!!! God bless always

8 second saloon in Indianapolis Indiana. Very good atmosphere plenty of drink specials and food. And of course Jamey Johnson and his group who could play literally any type of music!! Fantastic show lasting for over 2 hours straight. Well worth the money for this event!

Great performance, wish he would come back to Indy more often! Sad to see less old country stars playing. No all we have is Luke Bryan, skinny jeans and FGL :-(

Jameys performance was awesome like it always is. This time we got a table instead of standing for 8 hours. It made the experience so much better! Chris Hennessee is a great opener for him. I love his music as well and will be buying his new album! My advice for 8 seconds is GET TICKETS FOR A TABLE! It is worth the extra money for the view as well as not standing with all the drunks and being able to enjoy yourself.

These two guy's are great. The show was worth the trip.

My 1st time at the Lawrenceburg Event center. It was nice. I like how the general admission tickets were right up front standing room only by the stage. Only thing they could work on is more vending for all the drinking that goes in at country concerts. Lol
