Like sitting in the living room with Steven Curtis Chapman! As he remembers the God-story of his life through his extensive song catalog, I remember mine. This all-acoustic concert showcased the timeless brilliance of his message with his amazing guitar-playing skill and humble storytelling. Just three acoustic guitars and a man who knows how to use them! I would definitely attend more than once.

I loved the SCC Solo tour. So special that Steven is doing small venues and playing songs from long ago. I would attend again in a heartbeat and could have listened to him for several more hours. I would've enjoyed him playing a few more older songs like "More to this Life" and "His Strength is Perfect", but overall it was just so good. He is truly the most talented Christian song writer, vocalist, and guitar player of our time and that was fully showcased tonight. What a wonderfully memorable experience!

Jeremy Camp and Steven curtis Chapman put on an amazing concert at the Iowa State Fair. It is so great that the fair brings in Christian entertainers to our state. There was a good crowd there to watch them. Both singers had great messages to tell and were very inspiring to all those that attended. Thank you Iowa State Fair.

The Steven Curtis Chapman/Jeremy Camp concert at the Iowa State Fair was both Hot in temperature and Hot in entertainment. It was a night filled with great music and a spiritual uplifting testimonials from both artists. These two artists are people you can relate to and believe they walk and talk everything they sing about in their music. It was a night that I enjoyed greatly. Thank you 107.1 KNWI and the State Fair for including Christian music in the entertainment line up again this year.

Jeremy Camp opened the show with my personal favorite, "Give You Glory." I'm not sure how familiar some of the crowd was with his catalog of music because they were a little slow to warm up. Camp, however, kept the energy level up by continuing with "Tonight" and pulled the crowd into it with his conversations with them in between songs. His stories of his family, his faith, and his experiences connected each of his songs with his life and to similar experiences that those in the crowd may have had. By the end of his set, the people were wanting more. More came when Steven Curtis Chapman hit the stage. I think most of the crowd was there for him and more familiar with is music, having released about 15 albums through his stellar career. HIs son Caleb joined him on guitar and his son Will was on drums so it really became a family event. He shared his faith journey through stories of his family and his music, beginning with "The Great Adventure," an older tune from his catalog. He included many more recent tunes like "Live Out Loud," "Dive," and "Magnificent Obsession." He was even nice enough to give us a sneak peek of his upcoming album by performing "Heaven Has A Face," which he recently recorded for his November release.

Even with typical State Fair sound issues (muddy and bass-heavy), Jeremy Camp still rocked and filled his set with big hits and some moving worship songs. Steven Curtis Chapman is definitely talented, but he spent most of the night talking - I think he only played six songs TOTAL. Not worth the price of admission for all the SCC fans in the stands. Jeremy Camp-sters got their money's worth, but headliners should be expected to play a longer set with more numbers than the opener.... Should have given the headline to Camp and let SCC talk it up as an opening act.

The concert was fantastic. Jeremy Camp got the crowd to their feet with that throaty, powerful voice and Steven finished it off with soothing, soulful songs from the heart. Both bands showed unforgettable passion. These guys, and the bands, love what they do, and love God. With all the pain in their pasts', it is a testimony to God Love to see them pour their heart and soul into sharing their gifts with us. If you want to see God's work through two fantastic musicians, go see these guys!

the show was fantastic, the artists were engaging and real. I felt like I got my money's worth out of Jeremy Camp so the Steven Curtis Chapman portion of the show was really great since it was on the same ticket. The only problem with the show was the sound wasn't set up to make Jeremy sound as good as I have heard him before, but it was set up great for Steven.

The concert was a God-honoring event. God was exalted and not the musicians although they were truly gifted and entertaining. They were open with their lives and their struggles. Jeremy Camp with the loss of his first wife to cancer and Stephen with the death of his 5-year old in 2008 in an accident in his driveway. One cool thing - Stephen's 2 boys are on the road with him. One is an amazing drummer and the other a guitarist. So cool to see a family that loves each other and focuses on God.

Jeremy Camp did a wonderful job both with his music and with his ministry. The sound was terrible in the grandstands the 1st two songs but seem to be fixed for the rest of his show. It took them 40 minutes to change stage settings in my opinion that was way to long. Steven Curtis Chapman didn't even take the stage until 9:35 p.m. for a concert that started at 8 p.m. We left by 10 disappointed in the sound quality. You couldn't understand half of his vocals because the sound was so poor. We were also disappointed that 2 hours into the concert we had only heard 3 songs of his. I am sure he is an incredible performer and I will go to another concert given the opportunity but not at the Iowa State Fair. God has given both of these men a superb talent.

Steven Curtis Chapman and Jeremy Camp kicked off the Iowa State Fair in grand fashion. The Holy Spirit was present throughout the entire concert. They had the audience on their feeting, singing, clapping and swaying to the music. They both left everyone wanting more. The only thing that distracted from both performers was the volume. The background music was so loud at times it was hard to understand or even hear the words. However, I would definitely go to see both of them again. Thank you!

Steven Curtis Chapman and his son's band Caleb showed a rockin side of contemporary Christian music...a wonderful experience Third Day rocked it like they always do... moving people to praise God with their music and getting people to feel the music deep in their souls. Got to preview some of the new cd Move live and got to hear some great oldies like Thief ... a little bit of old school, a little bit of new school... and a whole lotta Third Day rockin it out! See Third Day every chance I can! If you've never seen them, they bring Christian music into the real world, praising God and being true to Southern Rock!

I believe in Charities and Causes... my husband and I support 2 kids through World Vision, but when I pay $50 or more (since we had the least expensive seats), to hear an artist, I don't feel that I should be pitched their charity for half an hour. Steven Curtis Chapman was very good, but with literature on our seats, a booth in the lobby and continued references to it throughout the concert; I feel that that should have been sufficient. I won't be going again. This event was in Chattanooga on March 9.

That night was something that I will never forget. Meeting and seeing the man that I've looked up to my entire life was beyond words. How do you describe meeting the man who has brought you close to God? Who helped you understand God, helped you share God's word, and always encouraged you to stay strong in your faith when all you felt was scared and alone. The way that some people feel about Moses, David, or even Billy Graham is how I feel about Steven Curtis Chapman. God has used this man's talent to reach so many and teach so many more. My entire life built up March 11th, 2018. It was such an awe-inspiring, surreal night. I wish he would come back again!

We were disappointed in this concert. It was produced as a "concert" but it became a fundraising event. Too much fundraising and not enough quality entertainment. Nothing to do with this talent, but when people are paying money for tickets expecting a concert, that is what they should get. Instead, our heart-strings were purposefully pulled. That part of the concert went on for about 2/3 longer than it should have.

Very disappointing performance. SCC has so much talent and so many great songs but neither were shared with the audience since most of his time was spent talking rather than singing. SCC performed very few songs in their entirety, offering instead only brief snippets of his many hits. He chose to use the two hours speaking out his life story and promoting his newly published book. Eventually, having heard too much of each, I left the event before it ended. This could not be called a concert and I was left feeling short changed from what should have been and was expected to be a great evening of listening to beautiful music performed by a once gifted entertainer!

I have always enjoyed SCC's inspirational songs and his singing, but this concert was more of a fundraiser for his charity. He did more talking than singing. He went on and on telling stories about his growing up years and then would throw in an occasional song. He then started talking about his charity and kept repeating the same theme over and over again. He asked the audience to make donations. This was after we had paid more than $60 per ticket to sing him sing...I couldn't believe it. So frustrating, so disappointing. I felt like I had been duped.

Honestly, I had never heard of the Buckhead Theatre before this show, but there is not a bad seat in the house. Steven Curtis Chapman is a wonderfully open singer and songwriter in his genre. This show did not disappoint either; he sang bits of many of his hits as well as a new song that was on the theme of remembering. He has a sense of humor that also went along with the clear lyrics that praised the God that he serves! Great concert!

I felt the band sound needed adjustment faster than made. The bass drum was over powering. It eventually got better but not until the second artist. Other than that--i was good Christmas show. I have seen SC Chapman preform several times and always enjoy his performance. His voice, charisma and genuine heart for praising the Lord through song was wonderful as always. The venue was a little better than half full which drained some of the energy from the performance. SCC's daughter-in-law Jilian, is a unique talent, with less mass appeal and a limited vocal range. Her original songs were unfamiliar and not easy to learn or sing along. There was no hook on consistent melody. Sort of a little girl, folk sound. Not really my style. Brandon Heath and 3rd Day will be joining later dates which would definitely add to the show's energy. The sound was also less than optimal. Sound crew worked out most of the kinks throughout the performance. However, there was always an audio buzz when instruments were not playing. This was the first performance on the Joy Christmas tour, so I expect this will be improved. Overall, we enjoyed the show and remain big Steven Curtis Chapman fans. He helps out his daughter in law and adoption charity during the show which are admireable but were my least favorite parts of the evening.

Steven Curtis Chapman, Third Day, Brandon Heath and Jillian Edwards were Simply Awesome!! There wasn't a bad song or moment in the evening!! While the Sun Dome is a large venue, the setting was intimate. The Message was spot on! This was Indeed a Blessed Evening!!

Jillian Edwards voice is Angelic, and Brandon Heath was full of energy. Third Day was incredible and sou powerful, and Steven Curtis Chapman was light-hearted and full of hope and inspiriation. This was my first Christian and will certainly NOT be my last! The facility was well kept and easy to navigate. I will be coming back to the USF Sundome often!

A wonderful way to start the Christmas week! Great performances by Steven Curtis Chapman, Brandon Heath and Third Day! The size of the venue allows for great seats and viewing angles. There was plenty of Traditional Christmas music and new music as well. The best part was singing Away in a Manger acappella with SCC. The house lights were down and cell phone flashlights glowing like stars all over the arena! A great night of Joy and Worship.

The Steven Curtis Chapman-Third Day Christian concert was outstanding. The time flew by as the artists mixed Christmas songs with some of their well known pieces. We even heard Third Day sing a yet to be released song in their upcoming album scheduled for March 2015. One I certainly will purchase. I highly recommend attending a concert featuring these artists-I know we will again.

As expected, a fantastic by Steven Curtis Chapman. His 26 year career is covered by an amazing medley of his greatest hits through songs from his current album which are great as well. He shares his testimony of his life, his ups and downs, and even brags on his family. He has a great sense of humor and incredible talent. I'm glad he allows God to use him for the good of His kingdom. It was a fun night full of great music and wonderful praise.

What a wonderful evening! It was so nice to spend an evening out with my husband in a stunning theatre listening to Steven Curtis Chapman with his amazing voice and songs that speak to your heart and soul. I have to thank the Uptown Theatre staff for their warm welcome and hosting a memorable evening for us. A special thank you to Ron who went above and beyond to make my evening one I will always remember. My hope is that there will be many more Christian Band concerts and to invite my friends and family. In these times of uncertainty, listening to inspirational music gives us hope to hang on to.

I have a been a SCC fan since 1991 and I had seen him in concert probably five times. By far the two best experiences were at Anderson University (Reardon). I last saw SCC here over 20 years ago. I was delighted that he involved his wife Mary Beth and shared their experiences at Anderson. I left feeling more connected. He comes across as a totally authentic person that loves Jesus Christ. It was a heartwarming gift and a fantastic blessing. I truly enjoyed experiencing SCC Solo at Reardon.

The SCCSOLO event was excellent. Chapman was at his finest as a Christian Performer, songwriter, singer, and storyteller. The concert was entertaining, intimate while also displaying the greatness of our God, His steadfast grace, and love in both good times and bad and His enduring faithfulness. As a Worship leader and musician-songwriter myself, I was extremely impressed at his ability to maintain composure and excellence even during the start of the show when his guitar suffered from some tuning issues. He completely controlled the situation adding humor and worked his way through it in a professional and competent manner. The performance runs a little over two hours and traverses several songs from several albums. Absolute glee!

We were disappointed in the format of the concert. Would like to see fewer groups and have them play longer. Jordan Feliz was unexpected as the first act and we missed seeing him. FF5 played after him, he should have been after them. Francesca Battistelli only did 3 or 4 songs, would have liked more than 20 minutes for her. If it's done in a similar manner next year, we probably will not attend.

The show was excellent. Nothing to complain about. Some sound tech issues that the untrained ear probably didn't notice. Hard to hear vocals at times. The problem was the venue. This was a rock and worship roadshow tour stop where ticket prices are normally very low but because this was at Royal Farms Arena (aka First Mariner aka Baltimore Arena aka who knows what next month) prices were way high. Those prices meant that the crowd was nowhere near sold out. Those prices are fine when TobyMac or Lecrae are the headliner. No disrespect to Steven Curtis Chapman but most people aren't going to pay that much to see him. I honestly went for Rend Collective and Family Force 5. Prices were high and they had to take a collection to fuel up the uses so that tells everyone what those of us with experience at this venue know MOST of the ticket price went to the arena/city and not to the tour. Had this been at APG with more reasonable prices it would have sold out.

Every group was great! Sound, unlike just a few years ago, was tailored to each band and the sound was great. . We were on the floor so the bass was a little overwhelming. However many of the artists went through the crowd as they sang, Carlos Whittaker was the host and he was his usual awesome self. Rand Collective, Jordon Feliz and Stephen C Chapman all used the mid floor podiums to entertain and it made a large auditorium a more personal concert for all. Each artist made a personal connection with the audience.

Not necessarily a fan of Steven Curtis Chapman, Mac Powell and Brandon Heath. Though I'm a huge music enthusiast, Christian music is way down -- actually, not even on -- my list of favorite genres. My wife, however, is a huge Christian Music fan. So, I got the tickets for her as a birthday gift and went along pretty much to see what all the fuss was about. And... I ended up being extremely impressed! All three are first class songwriters, musicians, vocalists and, well, human beings. Marveled at their talent, but enjoyed their chemistry as much as anything... Tour is exactly as advertised: plenty of wonderful songs, many of which were accompanied by fascinating stories. Highly recommend this concert! Only drawback, in my humble opinion, is the lengthy "commercial" for Chapman's foundation. But, if you're a fan of his already, then you likely already appreciate his work in both creating music and advocating adoption...

Loved this show so much. Third row seats helped a lot as we were up close and personal. Music was terrific and their three part harmonies were spot on. It was funny, touching and inspirational and we worshiped. Steven, Mac and Brandon were a delight and each are very warm, Godly men. I would go back again if it came back to El Paso!

songs and stories was boring. being a good songwriter does not make you a good storyteller. it was evident in their presentation. we never got rolling in worship due to their talking which was less than engaging...... of well, we can't always hit a home run. God is still good, all the time

The group played several great praise and worship songs, mixed with many more that had nothing to do with praise and worship. I was really looking forward to more praise and worship then entertainment. For those wishing to be entertained and just wanting to forget about our current political situation, this was a pretty good show. For those who are like me, and care more about being close to GOD, and desiring more praise and worship, the show was really lacking.

Seeing Steven Curtis Chapman, Mac Powell and Brandon Heath sharing a stage for this unique concert was amazing !! I had previously seen Third Day with Mac Powell on several occasions and am a huge fan of his. I had also seen Steven Curtis Chapman before and really enjoy his music. This was my first time seeing Brandon Heath but have enjoyed his music also. This event was so much more than just a 'concert', though ! It was so much more intimate and basically made everyone feel like we were just sitting in a room 'chatting' with 3 of today's most talented Christian music artist ? To be able to not only hear their music played live but also get to sort of 'go behind the curtain of what inspired, influenced and made them create each song' was an experience I will never forget. To hear their stories of where they came up from, who influenced their early live and how God touched upon their hearts to create such beautiful songs was amazing. By the end of the night, I no longer felt like I was just listening and watching 3 amazing Christian musicians anymore. I felt more like I was having a casual sit-down with 3 close friends who were sharing their souls and giving their testimonies to me. I can't recommend this event enough. If you have the opportunity to attend this concert tour when it comes to your town, do everything you can to make it happen. You will be inspired by what you see and your life will forever be changed by the blessings it provides your soul.
