The Districts

The Districts rock so hard! Every time I see them they put on an A+ show.

Very nice venue with a great staff. The sound was excellent. The band put on a great show.

I hadn't been to the Record Bar before, but I really enjoyed the laid-back and positive atmosphere. The opener, The Spirit of the Beehive, were fun, but a bit difficult to listen to if you're not into very, very deep grunge sound. But their personalities were a great segue to the lightheartedness of The Districts' set. They played mostly new music, but finished off with a fan-favorite, Young Blood, all the while cracking jokes and thanking the audience for coming. It was a lovely night--not mind-blowing like some other shows leave you-- but certainly a great night for a band that's still a bit on the back burner in the music industry.

This band puts on an unforgettable live show. They are passion and high energy personified. You will not be disappointed.

The Districts entirely met my expectations. I had never seen them live before, so I was excited to see whether they would be as good live as on their record. Their performance was really impressive and worth the long wait during the opening acts. What kind of ruined the whole experience for me was the freezing cold venue. It felt like the AC was set to the maximum and I was feeling to cold I was shivering.

The energy and overall passion that I experienced at Friday nights show was like no other. These four young musicians absolutely mesmerized the crowd and knock everyone off their feet. I have only seen The Districts play 3 times now and can whole heartedly say I am extremely anxious and excited for their return to Philly. I absolutely loved their set and the venue, and couldn't say anything nicer about their show.

this show was so much fun. we waited for about an hour and a half before doors to get a good spot close to the stage. we were in the row behind barricade. lady lamb was amazing, purples was also good. the districts came on and it was so much fun to see them play their music. all of the people there were generally very nice and didn't push much. a few people were crowd surfing from the back to the front. the districts get so into their music and it's really fun to see people so passionate about what they do. they sounded great! electric factory is a really cool venue.

This show was unbelievable. For starters BOTH opening acts were phenomenal. Their energy and talent was through the roof. It's so awesome to have opening bands that aren't there just to fill time. All the guys from both of those bands were awesome. Opening first was Forest & The Evergrees. Secondly was The Sun Club. Once The Districts came out the energy in the room tripled making for an exciting and fantastic show. The Districts did an incredible job with each and every song. They even debuted a new song, never before played live. What a treat. The encore of Young Bloods was the best song of the night and the best 10 minutes of a show I've ever been to. This was hands down the best show I've been to so far.

Great show overall. The Districts are one of the best up and coming bands I have seen to date. Huge amount of passion and energy driving their set into what was an unforgettable experience. Coupled with an amazing venue and sound this surely was a night to remember.

I saw The Districts about a year ago in my hometown with about 20 or 30 other people in a smaller venture. They were good enough to buy tickets again, this time in NYC. Their set ended up being immensely better than I remember it, and that's saying something. Also, when I went the first time, attendees were mostly the same as The Districts- between 18-20. Now, my friend and I were the youngest in the room. Interesting. The stage and lighting from Bowery Ballroom was very well designed as well. Awesome experience.

The opening band, Modern Inventors were worth showing up early for and I will go see The Districts again when they in the area.
