The venue is intimate and special. The two bands that performed, 45 RPM and Wonderous Stories are two of the most popular bands on Long Island. Fabulous show!

This annual concert hosted by L,I. Band Wonderous Stories is something to see at least once. Besides all the surprise guests who are world class musicians (Denny Laine - Moody Blues & Wings, Steve Holly - Wings, & other) Wonderous Stories is an excellent group of players & Singers., A very well organized concert, with full Chorus of backup singers & a great horn section. A lot of Love in that theater, and some of L.I.'s best performers, included the tremendous singer Ed Ryan.

Cant think of a better way to spend a Saturday night! Such an amazing group of talented, passionate musicians assembled on that stage. Four and a half hours of pure bliss. Thirty members of the Wonderous Stories family covered the entire space and played their hearts out! Feeling so luck to have been there and will attend again next year. How those people played such tight sets after what I assume were very few full rehearsals is mind-boggling. You guys rock!!!!

Amazing line up of talent playing this wonderful tribute to George Harrison and this historic event. You can tell that WS and multiple friends really enjoy the music. For those of us who remember, and for those too young to know, this was a great recreation of the ground breaking concert for a worthy cause. WS is a Long Island treasure.

My wife and I had the opportunity to see Wonderous Stories perform the album Abbey Road at the Jones Beach Bandshell years ago and marveled how the group sounded exactly like the Beatles save a small difference in the vocals. When I saw they were doing the same for The Concert for Bangladesh, I quickly bought 4 tickets. My wife and I and two friends were not disappointed. From the start, we knew we were in for a special night when Kenny Forgione(the band's founder) came out to tell us there were some surprises and get ready for a long night of music. Long night was right!! The concert started a little before 8:30 and lasted until 11:50 PM(with a short 20 minute intermission). In that time they played the music from the concert with several members of the band and their guests taking turns on the vocals. The music was dead on and the vocals were great too!! The songs that were done at the concert by Leon Russell were sung by a guest of the band that had the crowd in a frenzy. The soon to be Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted Denny Laine(Moody Blues and Paul McCartneys Wings) came on and told some stories of George Harrison and played along with the band. The concert ended with a song not played at the concert, George's "What is Life?" which happens to be my favorite song of his. The entire crowd stood, danced and sang along with the group. My friends thanked me profusely for bringing them to this great concert, don't miss the chance to see Wonderous Stories live, you won't be disappointed!!

An amazing collaboration of very talented musicians performing the music of John Lennon and various other songs fromThe Moody Blues, The Young Rascals, and Wings. A very professional performance of the entire Magical Mystery Tour album was played to commemorate the 50th. Anniversary of the album. Joining Wondrous Stories were some original members of the above bands and various other musicians who have played professionally and locally. It was a big party that sent me down memory lane!

These guys rocked the house for 4 hours. What a memorable show & a great tribute to The Magical Mystery Tour. Guest stars from the Moody Blues, Wings & The Rascals was an added bonus! I honestly had my expectations blown away - the talent on that stage was purely 1st Class !!

We love whenever Wonderous Stories does any Beatle type show, and the John Lennon was unbelievable. they played for 4 1/2 hours, and had the whole place singing and dancing. Highly recommend this group.

I love Wonderous Stories. They are such a versatile band. But this show exceeded all others. The core 5 band members plus all of the special quests singing and performing John Lennon, Beetles and The Young Rascals music was just phenomenal. Throw in a classic Moody Blues song by Dennie Laine too. Like I said, I smiled for 4 hours of great music!

45 Rpm gave a quality show playing all the hits and sounding great. However when Wonderous Stories stepped to the plate the night was ruined. They played songs that were obscure, beyond loud, overindulgent and went on forever. This would be ok if I was at a bar and I could finish my drink and walk out but we paid for these tickets. It was so bad we walked out anyway. Sad part is Wonderous Stories can play hits and play them well but for some reason on this night they chose not to with the exception of 1 song Steppin Stone. To sum it up if Negan from Walking Dead had Daryl listen to Wonderous Stories on this night instead of Easy Street he would have cracked.

First of all, I love this Venue. It is so nice and clean and comfortable! I went into this show pretty excited. I love 45 RPM and had heard great things about Wonderous Stories. The first half of the show was great. 45 RPM had everyone dancing and singing. Then Wonderous Stories came on and played very obscure music by Yes and Gethro Tull and I didn't know any of the songs. The songs were like 15 minutes each and they only played like 5 songs. In the end, I did appreciate the musicianship of WS but I was totally bored. If you are a musician, you will love them. If you are not, they are not so fun.

The Band was great and all the people that joined in like Marshall Crenshaw made the concert even better. The music was great and the Space at Westbury is great place to see a concert. The only thing negative was some of the crowd was rude taking loud while the concert was going on. Especially the center standing people taking selfies constantly and talking like they where at a bar.

For this performance, I was just expecting a decent recreation of the Bangla Desh concert from 1971. Instead, we were treated to an amazing show with over 30 musicians and singers PLUS guest appearances by Marshall Crenshaw and Denny Laine! Not only did faithfully they do every song from Bangla Desh, but a great assortment of Harrison, McCartney and Beatles songs. It was clearly a labor of love for everyone on stage, and I never imagined a crowd of 40- and 50-somethings rocking out to this music as if it was a Bruno Mars concert. A great 3.5 hour treat. Do it again next year!

It was great fun listening to real musicians for a change. From Traffic, Yes, Pink Floyd and the Beatles, I would definitely not miss them the next time out at B.B King. Dave was also a real trooper beign sick and all.
