The entire event was perfect. Sitting in row 22 gave us an excellent view. The whole venue was very intimate and casual. This led to a lot of audience interaction with Dylan, which was super fun. The show was sooo funny. Dylan is brilliant. There were a few jokes I'd heard before though, which I wasn't expecting, so that slowed it some. Parking was pretty painless at Buckhead Theatre.

It didn't feel like a formal comedy show. It was almost as if he was having tea (literally) with a few friends (in this case a bit more), and joking about generational differences.

Dylan puts on an unforgettable show. He had us in hysterics for the whole of the show. He seemed quite relaxed and confident, and clearly did his research before taking the stage. We were lucky to meet him afterwards and he is a very nice guy.

I laughed so hard my face "got stuck like that" (as my parents would have said). Dylan is ridiculously funny and can recover from any situation, including an impromptu marriage proposal in the audience -- "Great, well, that's the first marriage of the night out of the way; the bar-mitzvah will be right before intermission, and the mass baptism toward the end of the night." His tangents and random thoughts are at the core of the comedy, assuming you can keep up with them all. And his reading of his own version of "Fifty Shades" was absolutely hysterical. Highly recommended intelligent humor.

Dylan Moran is virtually unknown in the US compared to names like Louis CK and others. Yet he is one of the funniest comics with the best range out there!! There was something for everyone at this show and for the tickets to be so inexpensive is absolutely unheard of!! GO!! THis man hardly ever tours the US!! People travelled 5 hours to see this show and it was totally worth it! There was an audible awwwwww no! from the audience when after two encores Mr. Moran was ready to hang up his evening.

Dylan Moran was a breathe of fresh air in a city that is sometimes suffocating with politically correctness. Anyone from Europe and the East Coast would agree, he says what you want to say but feel uncomfortable saying and it was hilarious! High marks for his superb writing and delivery! A true, authentic comedian! Well done. And great intimate venue for his show!

Fantastic! The moments where he'd get quiet and convincingly serious reminded me of seeing Seamus Heaney at Chatham or Carlow a few years ago, but Moran just used that contrast to catch you off your guard. Classic.

Oh man, I haven't laughed this hard in years, I literally had to leave and get a pulled pork sandwich (as per his recommendation) during the intermission because I was weak from oxygen deprivation. It was as though he stepped right off the set of Black Books - the black humour and blustering irreverence he brings to the stage is everything I've ever wanted from a comedian. Well played, Mr Moran. Well played.

Dylan was a very funny man. He grabbed our attention right off the bat. His pictures in the background were entertaining too. He had a lot of funny observations about life and also had a lot of funny relevant stuff to say about our hometown of Pittsburgh. He also engaged the audience, which I love to see. The audio in the second half wasn't as loud as in the first half somehow which spoiled it for me a bit as I missed some of the observations.

Dylan Moran was very funny. He entertained with his trademark surrealist humor. I was so excited that he came all the way across the Atlantic to a small cozy venue here in the city of Pittsburgh. Last I saw Dylan was in the Dome in Brighton, which was considerably more expensive, mainly due to the exchange rate. Thank you Dylan for the well needed break from the mundane drudgery of being a student and for making it affordable, I very much appreciated it sir.

I had already seen his "yeah, yeah" show and was still looking forward to seeing the man in person. I was really happy to find that though there we're similarities the show over all was quite different then the overseas dvd version. If you are not easily offended, then I highly recommend seeing Dylan Moran.

Dylan Moran is one of the smartest and funniest performers out there. Wickedly funny, I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes most of the night. He brings a unique perspective on life, and he knows his audience. If you like smart Brit comedy like Eddie Izzard and Aussie Tim Minchin, or if you loved George Carlin, you will love Dylan even more.

This was a great show! I had not seen Dylan Moran before, but he was really good live! He had a good mix of mostly new material with a few classic bits thrown in, and interacted with the audience in funny ways. I am a big fan of DM from his dvds, and I was not disappointed!

Dylan Moran exceeded expectations. I was a bit unsure how he would work live, stand up. He provoked absolutely unstoppable laughter. My $16.50 martini in a plastic cup was certainly pricey. And the shoulder-to-shoulder seating was a bit tight. But that didn't detract from the main event, which was enjoying what Dylan had to say. And in some cases, not say.

I learned of Irish comedian Dylan Moran through YouTube clips mainly, and found footage of his stand-up work when he was in his twenties. Think he's a great writer in regards to his stories/jokes, and hoped he would tour in the U.S.! My friend had never been to a comedy show, and thought he was very funny.

I really enjoy Dylan Moran's style, and this set was incredibly satisfying. 98% all-new material, and even stuff that had been used earlier was pretty quickly passed over. He handles crowds very well, which is good, because it sounded like the equivalent of a farm at times in the lower levels (a couple audience members apparently felt the NEED to make noise). Unlike a lot of comedians I know, Dylan splits his set in two, with an intermission in between. I do think the second half was notably stronger than the first half, but the show was never weak by any means. I was also impressed with the turnout (it was just about full), considering I only have a couple friends who know who Dylan Moran is. Dunno if I'd recommend seeing him without researching what his style is like, only because some might not enjoy it. I find him hysterical.

The venue was marred by a protest of former employees but Dylan Moran was fabulously funny and energetic. After seeing him last time I can say his routine has greatly improved. I brought my son and his girlfriend who was not aware of his work yet she laughed continuously. I was very close to the stage which was amazing but there was little room to move and you were sitting with strangers across from you. I thought I was buying a table of four tickets but instead they seated us in a line across from 4 other people sharing two drink tables. It would be better for the venue to seat 4 tickets in a row together instead of in a line. Dylan was Well done! The venue has become less of a good thing.

First time at a live comedy show and I had an amazing time! Time really did fly when we went to watch Dylan Moran! Highly recommended!! As for the Wilbur Theater, we were seated on Balcony Right and really liked the seats. The only problem was directly in front of us (front row of Balcony Right) there were a few very bright uncovered light bulbs as part of the theater decoration (I think) so it was very annoying. But the people in that row fixed this problem by putting some jackets over the bulbs to shield us all from the blinding glare.

Dylan was fantastically funny as always. He seemed a bit tired, though. I do have one complaint: a woman who kept shouting out nonsense, clapping at strange internals and barking like a dog. It not only upset the audience but caused dylan to lose his rhythm more than once. If he never comes back to Boston it is her fault. She should have been removed from the theatre.

Moran is one of the great comics. His two part set was a great mix of personal, subtle political observations and wordplay. Unfortunately at least 20 or so yelling and whooping self-righteous super fans preferred their own voice to Moran. The rest of us had to suffer through their rude idiocy. One fan finally yelled enough garbage at the end of his show to cut off his last couple of encore jokes. Won t be going to the Neptune again. But would definitely see Moran anywhere else! Driving to Portland or Vancouver, B. C. to catch his show any time!

The good: Dylan Moran was funny, insightful, and probably would have eventually started his stand up act but ran out of time. The theater is beautiful. The bad: Cash only bar, causing ATM fees. Warm beer, and that was a shame because its a really good beer!

Dylan Moran is wonderful, and this show was no exception. He gets everything that's going on in the world and then some. A bit strange that he took a 15-minute intermission after only performing for half an hour; then when the show was almost over, walked off mid-sentence and then returned to do the last 5 minutes of his act -- but I would still see him any day. He's fantastic. Loved that they displayed his artwork throughout as well.

Dylan Moran never fails to impress. His acerbic and faux-drunk rants are what made him famous, and for good reason indeed! There was no time wasted on a warm-up act, or fanfare before he started. He delivered an excellent set (#duckgravelandmagnets) filled with witty observations about Boston, demonstrating that he'd really researched the location to write material for *us* and not just a tired, identikit tour performance. He mumbles sometimes, which is difficult to hear when the whole audience is giggling... but then again, you don't need to hear every word to find this man funny!

Dylan Moran was my favorite comedian for many years! Always hilarious and original, unlike other comedians. This show, however, changed my view on Moran's talent. Let's see, politics - check, religion - check, sex - check, vulgar "shocking" words - check. Yep, he is now just like every other comedian out there. What a shame.

Really funny show with a bizarre half hour intermission for his one hour set. I can't imagine it was because he couldn't stand for an hour it was probably the venue trying to sell more $20 drinks but I found it a frustrating waste of time. Dylan Moran has the uncanny knack of making everything hilarious, from the mundane to the fantastic, and becoming a middle aged father is no exception. I don't think there was more than 30 seconds that went by without bursting into laughter. He might be less than pleased at gaining a size or two, but he hasn't lost a step. Moran is the cuddliest misanthrope you'll ever run across. However barbed his humor he is clearly an authentic big hearted human being, maybe a bit too sensitive for the demands of life as an adult. And even when he has to ask an audience member to put away their cell phone he seems sad to have to say it, where most standups would display inner hostility. Utterly delightful, I wish it was longer.
