He's absolutely amazing live..he sounds like he's playing from my iPod! The venue was small about 40-50 people, which I loved it was quiet and not over crowded. I was second in line so ended up right in front of him :)

This was my second JNB show. It absolutely exceed my expectations! Justin's melodic vocals along with the jammin vibes of his band mates made for a spectacular show. It was a very intimate show, which was very nice. Seeing Justin Nozuka live isn't just any concert experience, but a moving, inspiring, fun, and electric one. His music is incredibly enthralling! I can't wait till he comes back to Boston, or a city nearby. The concert is the best I've ever (EVER!) been to. Best night of my life, no lie.

Justin was great. Sporting his khakis and Toms this adorable dude made me (and my mom...not a joke) swoon. Let's be clear Justin will not be rocking out and head banging. This guys is slow and smooth with many of those beautifully sad songs. Venue was great, not super packed and standing only, but super fun. Opening acts, not so much, but that happens.

Justin. Nozuka. Is. Amazing! First of all, the concert was fantastic. He has an amazing voice and his band was perfect. Beyond that, I had contacted someone on his team a few months before the concert and asked if there was any way I could have a song dedicated to my husband. He is deployed overseas but was on leave and I was surprising him with tickets to see our favorite singer, Justin Nozuka! My husband and I had met in Asia while he was deployed and I was teaching, and it was around that time that we found his music. We would always play it when we were together and, when we were apart, we would send his music to one another in our love letters. We were planning to get married this past summer, but his deployment date was moved up and our wedding was cancelled. We put together a small wedding as quickly as possible, but we never had our first dance as husband and wife. When Justin Nozuka heard about it, he not only dedicated our song to us at the concert, but really went above and beyond to make it something really amazing for my husband, the absolute love of my life.

*I would have given this show 100 stars but the most the let me do is 5... First off, anyone who has never seen The Justin Nozuka Band perform you are missing out on one of the biggest gifts of life! These guys are amazingly talented and definitely underknown in North America. They played songs including Grey, Woman Put Your Weapon Down, How Low, Be Back Soon, Golden Train, and many more!! Each one as amazing as the next.. Not only are these guys amazing artists they are some of the most personable guys I have ever met... I talked to Justin before and after show and it is amazing (word of the day haha) how down to earth and "real" he is!! Let me tell you this is a group I would travel to see (and I did). What I love most about the band is that they are in it for the music, the love of music, the peace music brings, and the fun music lets you have!! I can without a doubt say the Justin Nozuka Band is my favorite band/artist/group and I cannot wait until I get the chance to see them again!!!!=D Ahhhhh!!!! And after the show I got a signed set-list, yay!

I really like Ry Cuming who started the show. His voice was really good. Alex Cuba had me moving and habla-ing en espanol lol. Justin's performance was great . I loved his voice and his song picks, even though he didn't play Save Him it was still a great set. An overall great time.

I knew I would not be disappointed. His performance was incredible and the audio was on point. I had the time of my life! I even got to meet Justin and the band and take pics and get their autographs. And to top it all off, it was his Birthday and I got to meet his father/family and sing Happy Birthday to him! Like I said before, I had the time of my life. It was like a fairytale for me and I'm just glad that the show was rescheduled because if it had been completely canceled I might have just died. I'm a 27 year old woman but Justin makes me feel like a 17 year old girl!! I hope he will continue to do shows at Webster Hall, I would definitely make it to any of his shows!!!!

There are no words to describe how awesome Justin is live. It was great to hear my favorite songs played and I had a wonderful time. Webster Hall was the perfect venue for this type of show. The only downside was the girl behind me who scream-sang very single song he sang. At times, I felt like I should have paid her because she basically screamed the entire show. It's all good though, Justin rocked!

All I can say is that the Justin Nozuka is soo amazing live. His voice is clear but has the passion and soul that his music usually has. This is probably the first concert I've gone to (I've been to many) where the band sounds just as good (arguably, better) live, as on CD/in a recorded studio. The venue (Club Royale) was excellent because it provided for such an intimate environment where I stood less than 10 feet away from the Justin Nozuka Band for almost 3 hours; and no, my feet did NOT hurt by the end. :)

Ok, so another Justin show, most people I know say it can't be good enough to watch over and over. Truth is, it never gets old. It was such a rainy day on the night of the show. Didn't stop me at all. The venue was nice and big. They had cheap beer and good cocktails. Not as many people as i imagined, but also i took the rain into consideration. This was the third time i've seen Justin Nozuka live, and i have to say he's only gotten better with age. He played a well mixed set list from his first album "Holly" and his new one called "You, I, Wind, Land and Sea" His voice is just as good if not better live. Justin Nozuka deserves a better venue. He gets a 5 star rating and the Chop Suey gets a -1, leaving the overall rating of 4 stars. I would rather see him in a smoke filled Clearwater Casino, then Chop Suey and I'm a non-smoker! Jazz Alley would be good too.

This is the second time I've seen him in concert and because I enjoyed myself so much the first time I was afraid that I wouldn't have the same experience this time. I am pleased to say that not only did I have a fantastic time, but with the addition of his new songs it was like watching him for the first time all over again. Justin sings with such emotion and force that you cannot help but feel the words instead of just hearing them. I was very pleased with his professionalism because there was more than one instance where the crowd was being rude and a couple of guys (who had too much to drink) were being obnoxious, but Justin and his band pulled through with smiles on their faces and played as if those people weren't there. It was a great performance, a cute venue, and the opening band (AlphaRev) was really good as well. I had a fantastic time.

"Sam Bradley & The Men" was one of the opening acts for Justin Nozuka at Center Stage in Atlanta; he was nothing less than exceptional! I finally got to hear a few songs I knew of but hadn't been able to hear yet ("F***ing Lights" "A Song Could" "Hold On") and I was thrilled that he did my absolute favorite song, "Scared" which I didn't think he was doing this tour. It was also great to hear some of the newer songs written by him and by The Men! They put on a fantastic show, as usual, and I think really won over a lot of the crowd that was there to see Justin Nozuka (who was also fantastic, but I think Sam stole the show!). Sam's voice alone is reason enough to go see him perform, but his song writing, stage presence and knack for knowing his audience is a winning combination. He and The Men were out meeting people afterward and were completely gracious, and so sweet to everyone who tried to meet them. I was lucky enough to chat with him for a few minutes about his tour and a potential new album in January. It only confirmed everything I have heard - not only is Sam an amazing and talented artist, but he is a wonderful person, so full of gratitude and love for every single person that supports him, no matter what. I wasn't able to chat with The Men much, but they all seem very kind and appreciative as well. How awesome to see such talented people that have their feet planted so firmly on the ground. The music is enough to speak for itself, but it's nice to see truly good people doing what they love to do and sharing it with all of us. It was WELL worth the travel!

That had to be the best concert i have ever been too. I even got to meet the guys right afterward. Justin is such a sweetheart and alex is just soooo cool. Mark is so insightful and very passionate about his music. I wish I could rewind time because that had to be my best day of the year in 09. Hasn't been a very good year, but with this concert, It gave me hope. ELIZABETH AND THE BAND...can you say AMAZING. Her vocals are on point and never off. The band was sick, especially the bass player. Sam Bradley and the men was just raw emotion and humor as well. He even winked at me. I loved the whole damn thing. Wish it didn't have to end. I admit I went to this concert not primarily for Justin, but for opening act Sam Bradley & The Men. They did not disappoint on any level. In fact they have significantly grown as performers since I last saw Sam and are well worth the price of admission alone. Their music also beautifully compliments Justin's. Sam's energy on stage and the power of his voice are undeniable. Backed by a band he rises to another level a confidence and showmanship that I would gladly watch again and again. Another great surprise was the other opening act Elizabeth and the Catapult. They were terrific and I greatly look forward to seeing their career progress as well.

Justin Nozuka had a great set list that ranged from his old songs from the album "Holly" all the way up to his most current work "Chesnut Spoke the Maple". The venue was very clean and well-kept. Stage lighting was atmospheric. Sound was perfect, volume and mix couldn't have turned out better. We were treated with professional courtesy and respect the second we arrived at the door.... totally different than the typical meathead bouncer entourage you typically get confronted by at concerts. Performances were on-point, showcasing studio-quality talent, in a relaxd, non-chaotic setting. We brought several people with us who had never heard of the performers before, and they had a great time also. I would highly recommend this venue, as well as Justin Nozuka's live performances.

This is my second time seeing Justin Nozuka. I really like his new album. It's so great to see him experiment and change his style. Brighton Music Hall is a really cool place. There's a huge dance floor, and the stage is in the back. I got there really early, so even after I scanned my ticket, I left and came back when the show was starting. Justin was very punctual! The show was awesome. I think he is even better live. After he was done with his set list, the crowd called him back for one more song. And he did sing one more song! I guess in honors of Mother's Day, he sand "Oh Mamma." It was wonderful!!

This young man, seemingly humble though very good looking, will be a star. I'm sure I will not get to see him in such a small venue again. The 2 artists playing before Justin bored me nearly asleep while standing up. Though a lovely lady and charming personality, the female artist played 5 songs that sounded entirely alike. The next guy did the same thing. Then after some adjustments on the stage and a small break, Justin Nozuka came to the stage to the screams of many young ladies, AND plenty of young men, and charmed the audience for an hour.

Justins show was amazing, he is unreal live and so cute up on stage. Chop suey a small but nice venue. There was a drunk woman yelling and trying to talk to Justin when he was up on stage and it was really rude and not fair to everyone trying to enjoy the show. Justin handled it really well but she kept doing it in-between songs and they should of kicked her out. Show was great. Justin Nozuka's style is pretty mellow but his show was full of energy and he mixed in some pretty cool samples including Bob Marley's Sun Is Shining. Definitely would see him again. Alex Cuba opened and was pretty good too. Great show all in all.

The show was amazing, the opening band Alpha Rev surely got some new fans that night. The performances were well worth the wait outside, even in the rain. "Gray", "Carried You", "Swan in The Water", "Hollow Men", and "How Low" were my favorites of the night even though he didn't play my favorite song "Save Him," definitely made up for it though. Loved every moment of it. Can't wait til he comes back to NYC.

Justin was amazing live. He's so modest and dorky but still adorable. His voice just pulls you in and takes you to another place. My friends and I by some miracle managed to get backstage. He was so nice, not mention beautiful. His opening act Alpha Rev was equally amazing. I have never heard of them and was blown away. They have an interesting look, with a chello and violin player but i definately approve. The only thing slightly dissappointing was that he didn't play Save him, one of my favorite songs. But I understand that it was a concert for his new cd and i forgive him :-)

Justin started as soon as he step foot on stage and was enthralling from the start. His voice was exactly the same if not better than on his album, this guy has soul no matter where hes performing and you can see it in his face, just unbelievable.

This was the second time I saw justin. This time was better then the last because the venue was smaller, I was second row in, and I got to meet him after. He didn't get to talk to me because EVERYONE wanted to meet him, but it was still awesome. Songs were great as usual. Most of the fans were really nice. Love love love him.

Where do I begin haha! This is my 3rd time seeing Justin Nozuka live and I must say he only gets more impressive every time. I loved that the show was done at Hiro because it set the stage for more of an intimate show that really allowed everyone to get even more involved with his passion and feeling for the music. The one thing I love most about Justin's music is that it allows and more so makes you feel as if there is hope and want for better things and to push forward for whatever you want. His humbleness, passion and vibe is awesome. His new album is geared in a different direction from his first album but maybe even more addictive then the first one lol. I'm glad I got to watch him again and take in his thoughts and emotions ... it truly gives me a better understanding to where he is in his life and journey. I hope the best for the Justin Nozuka Band, they all deserve it and are all incredible and passionate artists. Blessings

Seeing Justin Nozuka last night was absolutely incredible. The small venue really worked with him in that it provided a more intimate environment for the audience to connect with him. Unlike in big concerts, everyone was in the same room together, if you know what I mean. Yeah, there is a stage, but throughout the show, Justin would speak directly to members of the audience, which, for me, truly changed the dynamics of the room and gave the room so much more feeling than a show at say, Madison Square Garden. The best part about seeing him live, is that his voice really sounds pretty much the same as it does on the albums. It was almost a breath of fresh air being able to see that he isn't only talented in a studio. He knows how to play the room, and I respect that he chooses such small venues to play at. It's truly too bad he hasn't really taken off yet here in the states. Hopefully his day will come! The opening band for the night, Alpha Rev, also gave a great performance.

The venue was unique and set the mood for the concert. there was amplle spaced and raised areas so u could see the performers no matter where you stood. Justin Nozuka was unbelievable as usual. His voice was so soulful and he never seemed removed from his audience. At the end of the shoe every performer came out to mingle with the crowd which was appreciated.

Justin sounds even more beautiful in person. He is a true talent and amazing to see live. The crowd was great and he stayed behind to sign and take pictures with the fans. I bought his new album and it was very reasonably priced.

The show was great. He sounds amazing live and even the opening band was awesome. Maybe Standing room only is a little rough because its more of a mellow record he's promoting but other than that and the jerk in the back of the room who kept yelling - I loved that it was an intimate show

What an excellent show. Small, intimate, and beautiful!! He had a great opening act (Leo Blais) and the show was just ridiculously amazing from beginning to end. The venue was perfect and it was one of the best shows ever!!! Justin was also very down to earth and talked with the fans after the show--taking pictures and signing autographs!! I would definitely go to see him again!! AMAZING!!

I was looking forward to seeing Justin nozuka for awhile. He is one of my favorite singers. I loved that the show was really small and personal. He was absolutely incredible live. His voice sounds exactly like it does on the CDs. I was also very impressed with his band. I figured after he would sign autographs because it was such a small crowd but he didn't. That was a bit disappointing but did not detract from the high quality of the show.

I have now seen Justin Nozuka a total of 5 times and plan on many more to come. His live shows are incredible. He is so talented and it shows in concert. Puts on a great set of songs from Holly and unreleased songs as well. There is usually a part of the show where the band leaves Justin on stage alone and he sings a couple things solo, just him and his guitar, like "Oh Momma" and "How Low". Beautiful and heart pulling as always. True testament to the level of talent Justin has. After the show the band sticks around and chats and signs stuff. I am from Cleveland and have seen him not only here, but in Michigan, New York, and Boston. ALWAYS amazing!

So I've seen him a total of 5 times so far in the past year and a half. Basically every chance I get to when he's in the LA area. Man.. he's just a beautiful person with a beautiful soul. His music is amazing and unlike many people he's even better in person. All of his opening acts or other musicians he has shared the stage with have also been amazing.. all from Eric Hitchinson, Marie Digby, Lenka, Gabe Dixon Band, Jay Nash, and most recently Elizabeth and the Catapult and Sam Bradley band. It was a pleasure to have seen them all perform live. Yes. he's a very humble person who always loves to meet his fans. GO SEE HIM when you get the chance =)
