An incredible performance from start to finish. Opening act began exactly at 8:30p just as promised. I sensed we were in for a professional show and that's what we got. JB and KG were incredibly tight and funny. JB's voice is as solid as it was on the 2001 release. Kyle's guitar was expressive and powerful when necessary. They kept the Kyle quit plot line and even added a Yeti singing 'Old Black Yeti'. This was among the best shows I have attended at a House of Blues venue. I wish the HOB audience came for the music instead of the cold beer and the continuous conversations they have during the concert . I see that at every HOB event. I am usually able to buy the higher priced ticket to avoid the general admission crowd but those sold out quick at this venue. This time I was willing to suffer through it and I am glad I did.

The band brought their "Rock-it" Sauce there's no doubt about it. The only thing worse than having to share your spiritual "rock" experience with 1,000 other drunk and immature fans is when you get to see a band you've been following for 20 years, and the venue itself makes you want to go home early. Jables and the Rage Cage delivered in truly tenacious fashion, carefully mixing their new songs and the creamy old-school goodness. But the ratio of number of people to square footage at the venue was tenaciously skewed.

Really fun times seeing The D on stage, their antics and stage props were a blast. Tow very naughty boys.

Tenacious D killed it. They rock. I highly recommend this show. They might be the best and greatest band in the world - tribute.

Best concert I've ever been to. It blew my mind and my jimmies were fully stimulated.

I have been following Tenacious D since the late 90's. Bottom Line, these guys are hysterical. Their music is excellent and their skills as musicians are excellent. The comedy is subtle but genius. I highly recommend all of their work for its entertainment value. In my opinion, their best work are the early HBO episodes. That can be found on their DVD "The Complete Masterworks".

I was absolutely THRILLED when I saw them announce their concert happening in Detroit, Michigan this year. I have been waiting to see them since I was in high school. If I could give them more then 5 stars, I would. Long live the D!!

Kyle Gass and Jack Black are back and they are better then ever! I was in the front and it was the greatest concert experience for me yet. If you have the money and you dont go to it, you are wasting your money.

The entire concert from the opening act until the end the show was phenomenal!!!! Can't wait for them to come back to Orlando. I will be at every concert in Orlando.

I did enjoy the Show the great Tenacious D put on. The only complaint that I have was the 45 minute intermission after the sasquatch got done rocking out. Opening act was a single Sasquatch playing about 3-4 songs, then he got everyone pumped up "Are you all ready for the D?!!!?!!?!?!" then he leaves us there in silence for 45 minutes. Most boring time ever, Usually there is better background music, or even stage hands setting up the stage, but there was only 4 mics to be put out and that was done in 5 minutes. It was the most boring hour of my life. other shows you might have a 20 minute turn around in between shows and they are trying as hard as they can to get the next band or attraction on stage. This just felt like they were not ready to go on and made us wait.

It was amazing. I loved every minute of this show and truly feel like it was a dream come true!

A great show but I thought it was supposed to be with a full band for this gig and a few others on the tour. It wasn't, just Jack and KG but a blast anyway. They mix some strong drinks at the Hard Rock!!

Imagine Jack Black and Kyle Gas on stage with all their awesomeness....ya, it was great :)

Show was a lot of fun and very entertaining, but this venue is AWFUL. The sound is terrible, and there were about 6 bar tenders for a sold out show. There was always a line of 20 people to get a beer. The Ritz sucks. Tenacious D rules.

The music was great-even the opener-Sasquatch! lol Stage AE seemed oversold. It was hot & crowded.

Such an awesome show. JB and KG brought down the house as to be expected. Acoustic set definitely did NOT disappoint!

Aside from having to wait for Jack & Kyle to make it to the stage at 9:30 - the wait was worth it. Hilarious.

Tenacious D rocked super hard! They were great! Such a fun show.

Tenacious D can really play and sing, we all know that. I was a little disappointed in this show because they didn't go "off book" at all. The banter you hear on the albums was exactly the same banter they did at the show. Word for word. No ad libbing, no changing a word or even a note here and there. It was as if they had a very specific script and the stuck to it. But, the guys were very energetic, using the whole stage. They just didn't play with the audience much at all. I was expecting some great audience interaction, but it never happened. I know they are funny guys, they just didn't bring their best that night.

Performance was awesome. Standing room only at venue sucked. I was always struggling to see the stage.

Jack Black's voice sounded better than ever! The mixture of great music and comedy really made this an incredible show. Highly entertaining!

This was one of the best concerts I've been too, honestly. I've seen many concerts at many venues. The acoustics of the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion were perfect for this show. Unfortunately, not to the fault of the venue directly, in the upper area there is a single row of seats that are reserved (not sure how/who gets those) and until just before The D took the stage no one was in those seats at all. Most of the patrons in those seats sat, and enjoyed the show. However there were some people in the audience whose view was completely blocked by a group of guys who refused to sit down at various times during the show. Jack Black sounded amazing, his vocals were crisp and perfect. His antics were exactly what you would expect them to be. Kyle plays guitar like a beast and it came through in the acoustic set so much better than it would have otherwise. If you like the D even a little bit, this is the way to see them play.

Great show! The D Rocked! The venue was not great, very hard to see the stage.

I would have to say that the show was amazing but the venue sucked. We were packed in there like sardines! Wall to wall people and no one had a good view of the show. Show itself was amazing and KG and JB rocked it... felt a little stupid with the whole sasquatch part of the show, but was really great stuff other than that... Wish the LC would have sold half as many tickets as they did though.

I love Jack Black and Tenacious D but it was too crowded by far in the venue - I have been to alot of concerts but could always see the stage at one time - I saw nothing!! And I was not the only one. It really seemed like they sold too many tickets in an attempt to profit more and didn't think how it would affect the fans - I was super upset cause I really like the band.

Jack Black is exactly as you would expect him to be, which is a lot of fun! KG was hilarious doing his little dance while JB got down on the saxaboom.

Kudos to house lighting engineer Patrick for making 2 fat guys with acoustic guitars look like a full rock show - I bet way more than JB and KG expected. Siinglehandedly justified the high ticket price.

You knew it was going to be a fun night when about an hour before the doors opened, Sasquatch ran out of Stage AE, past the line of people waiting to get in, ran across the street by Bettis' Grille 36, acted like he was hiding in the trees and then ran back past everyone and back in the door! He was awesome as the warm-up too! A very talented mammal! I loved 'Yeti'! Tenacious D was even better than I expected which was a high expectation. I was right up against the stage so I got to see everything up close and personal. I thought the sound was great too. Not too loud. A great mix of vocals and instrumentals levels. Can't wait to see them again!

No light show, two guys playing acoustic gutars using the same tired theatrics from their previous live show.

The most amazing show I've ever seen!!!! I would see the D over and Over and over again!!!

It was a sold out crowd, and they rocked the house! A little mix of old and new, and even though it was just acoustic style with no backup instruments it was amazing! It really showcased Jack and Kyle's talent as musicians, and hearing Jack sing in person was absolutely mind-blowing. Both of them are so very talented, and they had a lot of fun with their performance.

I had a blast at the D show! JB and KG are my George Harrison and John Lennon! Tots my Beetles. I actually shed a tear when they came out on stage! JB rocked my socks and I tossed, some clean, purple socks on stage. Hope you guys liked em! I only wore em once, and they were washed and dried and smelling fresh. Thank you Jack Black, Kyle Gass, and Sasquatch for rocking my world all night long, and forever! What a memorable show! Of all of the concerts, this one, was by far the best so far!!!!!!!!! Thaaaaaaank youuuuuuuuu!

Tenacious D is the greatest band in the world. They totally rocked it out acoustic style. I would recommend them to anyone looking to thoroughly enjoy themselves and have their mind blown by the awesome raw talent that is JB & Rage Cage!

This past summer I was able to experience the pure unadulterated wonderment that is Tenacious D. By far THE best rock concert I have ever been to. From start to finish it was non stop face melting, mind blowing epicness. If ever there was ever a band to see live before you depart this earth, hands down it would be Tenacious D! Can't wait... literally, to see them in March at the House of Blues in Boston!

I've been waiting a long time for the opportunity to see Tenacious D live. The crowd was electric before the D came on, an energy that I haven't felt at my previous 2 Red Rocks concerts this summer, and once the show started not one person sat down until the show was over. A good mix of their most popular songs from all 3 albums kept the crowd raucous for the whole show. I had heard some live sets from earlier shows the D put on this year and, although they always rock super hard, it just didn't sound as solid as the D I expected. Not the case at Red Rocks. Everyone sounded phenomenal, Kyles fingers were silver, Jacks voice was gold. Classic Tenacious D. Can't wait for another opportunity to see them and highly recommend seeing Tenacious D live. There's only 2 kinds of D fans, those who love the D and those who haven't heard enough.

Holding up to their credit, JB and KG rocked the house. They marked the night off their bucket list and the crowd was immensely entertained among one of the best Colorado Peace Plant Clouds I have seen in years at Red Rocks. Everyone was vibing on a whole nother level. Awesome show, glad I was there!!!!

By far the best concert I have gone to. I have been a fan of the D for years now and it was an amazing opportunity to get to see them perform live. They did not disappoint one bit. They started the show strong and ended it strong, rocking out the entire time even though they were all sweating their asses off. I hope that they come back to Kansas City because I would buy tickets to see them again in a heart beat. 6/5 Stars!!!!!

Jack Black and Kyle Gass are not just actors believe you me! They were meant to be on stage. They rock out like no other and their comical talent fits just right in their songs. They love metal! "No one will destroy the metal" You can count on that as long as they stick around. They are so very talented as well. Kyle is an amazing guitar player. LOVE THEM AND HAVE EVERYTHING THEY'VE DONE!

I saw Tenacious D in concert in 2002. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Righteous!

I was not surprised that they came, rocked, and totally ruled the House of Blues! I was happy Sasquatch opened and the venue had great sound too. I laughed, cried and loved seeing The D as they once again proved to me that they are the greatest band in the world!

Kyle and Jack both have amazing voices and guitar playing skills. I'd love to see them with a backing band so I could hear Master Exploder and Beezleboss, etc. The D rocks, and they rock hard. Enough said!

Obviously, Tenacious D is the greatest band in the world. This concert was everything that I have ever loved, or dreamed of, compiled into one two-hour climax. JB & KG... two kings.

The concert was great, but there were many people smoking marijuana and burning incense inside the theater...

These two gentlemen always amaze me. 2 Acoustics and 2 Voices executing perfect hard rock. Love this kind of comedy. Sarcastic, well done, atypical instrumentation, excellent singing.

Tenacious D was awesome. They performed a great set that entertained the entire audience. I didn't know they had so many fans in Pittsburgh, but the concert was an entire sell out where everybody sang along. The biggest problem with the concert was the venue. The place was just too crowded. As someone who suffers from epilepsy, I had to stand in the back, because I feared having a seizure in the crowd. You literally could not move. I had friends who got there early to get close to the stage. Needless to say, I didn't get a chance to see them. They could not move at all for the entire show. Even though I had to stand in the back and couldn't see the band for much of the show, I still had a good time. Tenacious D sounded great and they kept everyone entertained. The acoustics at Stage AE sound great, but I suggest they sell a few less tickets for safety.

Super energenic and a lot of fun. Only complaint if I had one, were the prices of the drinks and bottled water... come on Fillmore. For shame! However, that had nothing to do with the act. Had a blast!

Great stuff. I had my expectations set high enough to where in the few days prior to the show, I was beginning to think I would have a let-down. It was not the case and they brought their normal schtick and rocked out. I wouldn't have minded 1 or 2 electric face-melters, though!!

This is my third Tenacious D show and I have yet to be disappointed. KaGe and JaBles love every minute on stage and give it everything they have. On top of the energy, they always sound fantastic. The sound is excellent and performance is spot on. I was particularly blow away by an amazing performance of the Abby Road Medley. I can't wait for the next D show.

Tenacious D were good. NOT great. Sure i would recommend them to a friend, but they didn't seem to play for very long. They clearly heard requests coming from the audience and of course mr. black gave that grimace that he usually does as if to say "NO WAY" it was OK. they sounded good. House of Blues is nice.

Hard to believe that it was only 2 guys and 2 guitars (and intermittently Sasquatch) and they were able to keep us entertained for 2 hours!

Jack and KG acoustic. They sounded perfect. The setlist included most of our favs and was performed as we remembered them.

We saw them in Philly and then at this one in AC. I liked the acoustic show better.

I've been dying to see these guys forever and when i saw these tickets i moved fast! everything rocked about these guys from there playing to the guy who opened up. Long Live The D!

This concert appeared to be a desperate attempt to make money. It was very low budget concert with the "D" only playing for 1 hour and 15 minutes. There were long breaks between songs with the usually funny banter. I saw Tenacious D last summer at Penn s Landing, Philadelphia and they were amazing. I sincerely feel Tenacious D has taken advantage of loyal fans this time around with a $50.00 ticket and no real opening act. However, the songs that they did play were excellent. I am not knocking the musical content but the overall concert experience from what I have been used to seeing at a D Concert.

Choice of venue is always important when planning a world tour. In this case, it was band-appropriate and age-appropriate that the D have come to the HOB. However, despite being 4 rows back, dead center, in plain view of the stage, I was not overly enthralled by concert. What I thought would be a triumphant return for one of my favorite bands turned out to be a night of shielding my diminutive girlfriend from the movements and shouts of a bunch of drunken idiots. I understand that people go out to concerts to have a good time, but there's a difference between that and causing others to NOT have a good time. I suppose that with any concert experience, you must be aware of the environment you are walking into, and if you are not prepared for such things you're going to have a bad time. The artists did not engage the audience as much as I thought they would. Sure there were tossed picks (most of which were not caught and ended up on the floor), and the occasional cheap pop to AC, but overall, not exactly what I expected. They were there to put on the show, exactly as they had planned it, with no deviation at all. Sure, you can't please everyone, but I would have expected a little more from a showman such as Jack Black. Overall, the venue gets a lower rating than the artist, but I begrudgingly give this concert, a 4 out of 5.

Tenacious D was incredible and I have nothing but great things to say about their performance! The only reason I gave this show 4 stars is because I am a girl and rather petite so it was VERY hard for me to see the stage from anywhere I stood. Luckily again, the band was so good it was very hard to care where I was or how much I was able to see because I was having such a great time just being there. Totally recommended!!!

Fun Show. House of Blues Atlantic City is a great place to see a band. Get Standing Room tickets.

The show was great. My only complaint was that it was too short! We wanted MORE. Overall, this is a great place to see a show. It was my first time at the House of Blues AC - would absolutely recommend this venue. The staff was extremely helpful and nice, too.

Comedy and rock and roll what more can you ask for? The D is an amazingly talented band, a little perverted, but amazing!

Not that they ever left in my book. Jack Black and Kyle Gass didn't disappoint. They rocked hard and hardly flinched when a drunken fan charged the stage. I wish i could see this show over and over again.

You can never go wrong with the D. Jack is sweating his nuts off two minutes into the show. 'Began' the show with 5-6 encores....hilarious. This was an all acoustic show, but Jables and Rage Kage brought it hard for the entire time. Their first visit to Cleveland in 10 (?) years was a Rock the Mother Lovin' Vote event. Audience was loud and into things the WHOLE time. Can say it about many concerts, but these guys could and should have played longer considering the cause and the audience vibe.

SAW THEM AT THE WILTERN.......HAD LOGE SEATS......ALL SEATS IN THIS SECTION ARE AWESOME BTW. THEIR PERFORMANCE WAS EXCEPTIONAL....HIGHLY ENERGETIC....HIGHLY ENTHUSIASTIC ....AND HIGHLY ENTERTAINING. I WILL DEFINITELY ATTEND AGAIN

This was a good show. If you like the movie or the songs you've heard from this band, you will like this show. Entertaining and still rocking.
