UConn Huskies Womens Basketball

The crowd for this event was much better than the UConn Men even though they were both sold out. While there isn't the flair of the men's game, it was fun to see fundamental basketball perfection.

I love events at the Webster Bank Arena. I would have given it a 5 star rating if it weren't for the parking and traffic to get to the lot. Arena's seats are wider than XL center and even the worst seats aren't bad. Problem is it took us almost an hour to get off the highway and to the parking lot and we planned our arrival for an hour before game time! I guess you need to arrive at least 2 hrs early to avoid congestion, which is ridiculous. Parking in Hartford is $10 at all lots - why $20 in Bridgeport??? Fix the traffic situation and we would go to any UConn WBB game being played at the Arena!

They all played amazing. I really enjoyed watching them play. Kelly Faris and Caroline Doty are my two favorite players. But the whole team did very good!

Haven't been that excited since the last time we played Tennessee. Can't wait to meet them again in the San Antonio.

Men's basketball could learn a lot from watching Women's basketball, like passing! There is much more teamwork in Women's basketball.

I had a great time. The seats are a little small and parking was a nightmare. But the game was good!

The game was fantastic, but warning about the seats: if you are seated at the front of sections 122 or 121 (rows G and H), you'll be behind the band and the student section. They stand THE WHOLE TIME. These seats are essentially obstructed view, especially if you're short like me! A very nice and helpful security person helped us find seats farther up that were empty with the caveat that we'd have to give them up if the rightful owner appeared. Fortunately, they didn't, and we enjoyed an excellent view of a great game.

Everything about our experience--to the parking--the dinner--the XL Center--and finally THE GAME!!! was wonderful!. Hartford is a great place. The UConn women are unbeatable--will go all the way again!

Stanford really gave our UConn women a run for their money last night but the Huskies turned things around and beat #2. Only a 12-point spread, however, and Caroline Doty fouled out. Tiffany, Maya, Tina and Kalana were terrific. Next up -- 2010 and more victories!

game of course is great --- but u need cool price on food etc and the parking in side arena is way over price

I'll start at the beginning The parking is $20 for a dirt lot. A bit much. Entering the arena was orderly and security was professional. First thing was food. The prices are high for what you get. $7 for a chicken sandwich that probably cost $2 to make, including labor. The water was $4 for something that costs a quarter at your local store. I expect to pay these prices in NYC, but not in Bridgeport. What made me mad is at these prices was they didn't even have napkins or straws at the concessions. The arena is great, beautiful place, not a bad seat to be had. Security was helpful in pointing us to an elevator as I am recovering from an injury. During warmups they blasted club/dance music, which is fine during warmups, but even when the girls went back to the lockeroom, the music continued at the same volume and genre. The reason I bring this up is that this is a UConn women's game during a holiday break when there aren't that many students attending. The average age, including the kids, was well over 50. Tailor the music and volume to the crowd. The game was great and with a few tweaks the entire evening can be too.

It is always enjoyable to watch the UConn Women's basketball team in action. They are amazingly talented players who are so enjoyable to see in live action on the floor. Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport is a great venue with good seating options. However, getting to the arena off I95 in Bridgeport is a nightmare! Traffic lights cause gridlock for cars trying to just get off I95 and get to parking lots near the arena. Bridgeport police need to control the traffic vs letting the lights do the work to make it easier for patrons to get in and out of the arena parking areas.

game was great. Parking is atrocious. $20.00 and no employees to aid in exiting. What a goat rodeo. Also wonder what the $9.20 "service fee" is for. I ordered on line and printed out the tickets myself, using my own machine, toner, electricity.

I love going to the Arena as It is close to home and the venue is always clean and comfortable. The quality of the food vendors are better than other arenas in CT. Parking is convenient.

The UConn Women's Basketball Team is in a class by itself. I would recommend seeing this team to everyone having an interest in a good quality sporting event. BUT in Bridgeport it is not cheap. The tickets are expensive. Parking at the arena is $20, cash only. Traffic is very bad both before and after the game. If those problems don't bother you, you are in for a wonderful 3 hours of entertainment. Seats are good and the choices of food are top notch.

The energy level of the crowd was excellent and the interspersed side events kept the level of excitement consistent throughout. The UConn women are huge favorites downstate and we all hope this new in-state, offsite tradition continues!

We love going to the Bridgeport Webster Bank Arena. It is small enough where you can see the game from any seat. The employees are very nice and helpful. The only drawback is the price of parking. $20 is a bit much.

Game & arena are fine. The Bridgeport police department needs to get their act together on how to get poeple to parking lots & garages. Leaving the game was easier then getting in which is unbeleiveable since almost everyone left at the same time. Parking fee of $20 is rediculous. No wonder Bridgeport has such a bad name.

Webster Bank Arena is a wonderful place to see UCONN basketball. Our seats were terrific midway up in Section 106 but there is a hardly a bad seat in the place. Thoroughly an enjoyable evening!

Great venue for a UConn game. The parking garage is the biggest aggravation. The Bridgeport police do a great job moving traffic once you get out of the garage. We have gone to many games at the XL Center and Hartford was near complete gridlock in comparison.

I purchased these tickets for my 80-year old Mom for Christmas. This is the first time that she has ever been to a live game. Got good seats for a great price, and she had a blast!

Its always great to see the UCONN Women play basketball in the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport! Easy commute - if you come early you find great parking whether in the garage across the street or on the street itself. Wish there were more games for the UCONN Women in our area! The arena was clean, had many food choices and seating here is great wherever you sit! The game itself was exciting - the UCONN women always put on a good show for their fans.

Fantastic opportunity to see the Ladies AND Geno!! We do occassionally travel to the XL to see the games but once was enough for the trip to Gampel. Traffic and parking at Gampel ruins the experience. We haven't and WON'T miss the Ladies play at Webster Bank Arena. Special thanks to Geno for acknowleging our turnout and support for the team from this neck of the woods.

A great time was had by all! This game broke the attendance record for Webster Bank Arena. There were no bad seats. The audience was family-friendly and enthusiastic. Everyone had a good time and was supportive of both teams.

The police need to be on the job early at exit 27 east on I -95 to move traffic through the intersections leading to the arena. They need to override the traffic lights before the events.

I drove over from Orange County NY to watch Stephanie Dolson play in the big leagues after watching her play for the Minisink Warriors for the last 4 years and certainly wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere in the arena was electrifying and contagious. I will absolutely make the 2hr drive again and would recommend it to anyone interested in college basketball. Thanks for the great time!!!!

I was very happy with the event until the end when I wanted my "attendance" certificate from New York Life and they didn't have any left because the idiot people handing them out were giving more than one to some people who asked for them! I saw one guy leave the building with a stack of them in his hand for "souveniers." VERY ANNOYING!

The game was awesome. I bought tickets for my daughter 14th birthday,UConn is her favorite team. She has big dreams of playing for UConn. We plan on attending many more games in the seasons to come. I will buy my tickets alittle earlier next time in hopes of getting closer seats. Our seats were in sec. 216 we were able to see the game perfectly but it would have been nice to be closer. Even if our seats are in the upper section we still plan on takeing the 3 and a half hour road trip (one way) to watch UConn play.

Have to thank Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun arena. We attended the UConn Huskies v. Florida State game. As we reached our ticketed section, a usher stopped us and asked to see our tickets. We were informed our seats had been changed due to the fact the UConn Band had been put in our original seats. My Wife and I were given "new" seats and told how to get to the section. Now, our original tickets would have been Row A 1st row next to the basket. We arrived at the changed seats to find we were CENTER court Row a still, right behind the ESPN TV crew of Pam Ward and Rebecca Lobo ! What AWESOME seats !! Thank you for what we feel was an updated change !!

Mohegan Sun is a great venue for basketball. I love the convenience of free indoor parking, great restaurant choices and an intimate arena. UConn women are a joy to watch and Florida State never gave up.

Parking, concessions, safety, and site lines are much better here than Bridgeport's arena, where parking is congested, costly @ $20, they need metal detectors at the entrance, and the concourse is U shaped and difficult to move around.

I'd like to say I've been to many basketball games at the Sun. There are a few things that I find need improvement. The sound system is TERRIBLE. It is very hard to understand what the announcer is saying.Sounds like a lot of vibration in the speakers. The interior of the arena is very drab and depressing. People sitting in the upper levels rarely get tossed t-shirts, etc. Never at the end lines. When the parachutes came down there was not chance for anyone in the upper level to get one. If you weren't sitting right under the overhead walkway you were "out of luck". I was at the playoffs last year and was very disappointed in the "celebration" at the end. This was a championship and something VERY special should have been planned. People sitting around me commented how "cheesy" it was. I noticed there didn't seem to be that many people in the casino other than UCONN fans. We stayed off site, because of the cost of a room there. I would have preferred to stay there, eat all my meals there and not have to drive to a nearby motel. Would have spent more money in the casino too. I suggest you deeply discount a block of rooms for UCONN fans and keep their money in-house. Hopefully some of these issues can be addressed.

The game was great. The seats were not so great. Had to be the worse row in the arena! I would recommend the Huskies to everyone but not the seats I had.

UCONN continues to dominate teams as usual. The game was fast paced. Much different watching it live than on TV. Kind of miss the chatter of the commentators.

I'm a fan, season ticket holder for almost 20 years and follow them wherever I can. This will be my 14th Final Four this year.

The game was great but sitting in the corner of an upper section, I could see dozens of prime seats in the lower levels unused. However, none of those unused seats were available when I bought our tickets.

It was a great game. Their athletism, tenacity, and team work is amazing to watch. Totally enjoy watching them play.

The Mohegan Sun is a great place for a game like this. The arena is a good size and there's not a bad seat in the house.

Arena was excellent, being able to browse the shops and pre-game meal at Jordan's Sports Café added to experience. Game was great, watching UCONN play is always a special event.

The only thing that kept it from being 5 star was the 20 dollar parking fee. It just seems a bit steep for the event. Choice of vendors in the arena were great and of course my Huskies came out on top making me a happy camper.

The whole event was excellent and well presented. We stayed in the Husky Lounge prior to the game where a great brunch was presented. We were well carred for!

Seeing a top college basketball team in action in an Arena the size of Webster Bank Arena (WBA) was a thrill. WBA is a great place to see sporitng events and the variety of concessions is an extra plus.

This was our first time at Webster Bank Arena. Getting there was really easy.Parking was $20 which I think is rather steep. The concessions were many and varied. We loved the Carvery. The seats were good and with the price paid.

Excellent experience at the Arena for a UCONN Women's hoop game. Lots of energy and excitement with the crowd. Team played well and did not disappoint. Better venue than XL or Gampel. Easy entrance and departure via Metro North Railroad

Everything was great except the traffic to and out of the game. It SUCKED!!! And we got there about 10:45 am. Also, Bridgeport is not marked well with signs for I95 North or South. Overall, the venue was awesome but the traffic sucked.

Great game at a great venue. We had floor seats, and it was awesome being up close! Getting off the highway into Bridgeport was a nightmare! We should have gotten there 45 minutes before game time, but instead missed the first ten minutes because we sat in traffic on route 8!

OVER PRICED SEATS, PARKING, EATING. HARTFORD IS MUCH CHEAPER AND YOU CAN WALK AROUND OUTSIDE BEFORE AND AFTER THE GAME.

My wife and I have been seasons ticket holders for over 20 years. We went to our first "home game" at Webster Bank Arena on Saturday. The arena and the atmosphere were outstanding. Now for the bad stuff. Parking near the venue is a disaster. Long traffic lines going in and even longer getting out. Fortunately a friend gave us a better way in and a better parking choice. Now for the big complaint. If I am a seasons ticket holder and this is a home game why am I not paying the same price for tickets as I am at Gample and XL. My wife and I are seniors and are given a discounted ticket price for our women's tickets. This should extend to all "home games" no matter what the venue. Driving 80 miles is bad enough without the extra expense.

Great event, everything was so nice. The arena looked great, the pregame stuff was fun, and the my son got to go out to center court during the introductions to high five the starting players. He had a blast. Can't wait for them to come back to Webster Bank Arena. The venue does a great job.

This is a great venue for Fairfield County fans to support UCONN Basketball. $20 parking fee for outdoor parking is a rip off. Only one exit gate from this lot after the game is very poor planning.
