This was a fantastic performance. Beautifully designed stage, captivating music composition and phenomenal dancers. A must see!

This is the 3rd time and is better every year. Excellent dancers, great costumes and nice scenography.

The Nutcracker was excellent and amazing. We were in awe watching such young actors perform so eloquently

Loved the show, but I was really disappointed that the music was canned. I go to The Nutcracker every year - wherever I am in the world, I go - and this was the first production I've seen that did not have a live orchestra, and it was so disheartening because the music is half the reason I go. The dancing was great though - I'm partial to the Miami City production having danced in it as a kid. The story and the memories will never get old for me.

It was an amazing show. Very elegant and well done. The Miami City Ballet performers were spectacular y very professional!

Ballet without a live orchestra? What a shame... It felt a bit amateurish...

I I attended to the Nutcracker with my 6 year old daughter and we love it. The costumes were beautiful and colorful, the performers were perfect and rich of Christmas spirit. we enjoy the show from the beginning to the end.

the nutcracker was wonderful as usual, however, the next time i will likely make the longer drive to miami or west palm. the audience was so disrespectful with talking and entering during the show. I also have never seen so many people dressed as though they were going to the mall--- one girl actually had on cut off jean shorts! this is a ballet!!! WOW!

The Miami City Ballet put on a highly entertaining and very creative production It's a sham they did not have a full house.

The Miami Ballet was a wonderful eclectic performance before a half empty house.

The program offered by Villella's MCB showcased the grace and powerful physicality of his dancers. The selections for performance could be enjoyed by novices and aficionados alike as they give a glimpse into the history and evolution of ballet. A great evening!

I took my daughter to see The Nutcracker for the first time and we fell in love!! The theater was beautiful and the dancers were amazing!! We had such an amazing time and the ushers were all very polite and incredibly herlpful. I can't wait to come back every year. It's our new holiday tradition!

Even though i havent seen it yet , i am sure it is going to be awesome because the years before they had the best performences ever. ( i should knbow because i am a student there)

The performance was great. The only thing that would've made it better was if it had been with a live orchestra.

This ballet was quite pathetic. The minimalist sets, set the show tempo. The costumes are drab and looked awful. The performers did their best with both musical scores being most unenjoyable. The only redeeming factor was the pre~show lecture with the conductor elucidating. Paying top dollar for performances of this caliber is nothing short of being ripped off !

Awesomely awesome. The professionalism and precision is supreme, and the selections were varied including both classical, contemporary and even comical pieces. A wonderful evening.

The ballet was beautiful. I especially enjoyed the rendition of Westside Story. The seats in the theater were comfortable and easy to see the performance even in the upper areas.

This was a terrific performance by a remarkable company. My only quibble is the lighting. Why keep those beautiful dancers in the dark. There s effect and there s just too dim. But overall, inspirational.

How come I would buy a ticket for a performance I do not know not even the name, dancers, who is performing leading roles, etc. I have seen a lot of ballets in different countries my whole life. This is the first time I see this. That is part of ballet and performances culture.m

Loved it! Thought the program was varied and had really never seen a "comedic" ballet before!

The entire performance was very well done, the opening Raymonda Variations were lovely, the final piece 'The Concert' was hilarious and unexpected but the middle ballet Heatscape was breathtaking. The choreography for Heatscape had so many layers of interest and beauty...Justin Peck outdid himself!!

I took my daughter to see this performance and she loved it, definitely worth your time

The Twyla Tharp piece was extremely refreshing and different. Carmen was moving and outstanding, especially the male lead.

The entire concert was very good, and the dancing to Sinatra songs was simply spectacular! If they are performing this elsewhere, it willbe worth the drive!

Excellent performance. Especially loved the Nine Sinatra Songs. Dances were so beautiful.

Great evening. The dancers executed the choreography flawlessly and with elan. I have never seen MCB so crisp! My only nit was that it would have been nice to have something other than a bare stage, especially for the Sinatra songs. A 1940's hotel bar/dance hall background would have complemented the costumes and dancers nicely.

The show was average, nothing impressive. Tickets way overpriced, seating was not very comfortable. I would not recommend this to anyone.

The program included a piece by Balanchine based on Stravinsky music, Paul Taylor based on the music of Schubert, and Twyla Tharp based on 9 songs by Frank Sinatra. The dancers were wonderful and very well trained. It was a very enjoyable program and highly entertaining.

My family and I were looking forward to seeing the Nutcracker again this December. About 20 years ago we had seen the Nutcracker performed by the Miami City Ballet and wanted to share it with the grandkids now. What a disappointment! All of us were falling asleep during the first half, as the performances were dry and repetitive. The second half was better, but not great. We couldn't wait for the ballet to end and go home. I don't recall being that bored 20 years ago. This may well have been the the last Nutcracker performance that I will ever attend; why pay money to then fall asleep during the performance? I gave this a 2-star as the 2nd half helped to redeem the 1st-half.

We love this theater. Just the right size, great view from every seat and the sound system is beautiful. We see this production every year

The performance was very good! All performers are to be commended for an excellent display of their talents. The production went very well with stage changes being done almost transparently. Congratulations to all!

Took my girlfriend on the December 12th Showing of this incredible show and we were both so blown away. The dancers made everything look so effortless and are just so talented. We left smiling and have been talking about it ever since. Great show.

Miami City Ballet did a beautiful job. It is truly worth going to see it.

The ballet was fabulous. We sat in the the balcony but our view was great. The Miami City Ballet put on an extraordinary performance!

Hubby and I treated my nieces to the show this year. It is our official kick off for the holiday season. We sat in the orchestra section, very close to the stage and the seats were so worth the extra $$. Fantastic show, fantastic music, fantastic dancers. Bravo!
