All time classic, beautiful performer, top notch entertainer, a true artist, to be treasured. Smokey doesn't need an opening act, he stands alone in the entertainment industry. This man is a force, going strong after more than 50 years in the business, and he knows his business, what a pleasure to him live!

Hard to fathom this guy is 78 years old! Excellent show with all the hits and a few surprises, sung with amazing perfection! And fun crowd interaction and stories as well! A night to remember!!

Smokey still has it!! New artist could take lessons on the control he has of his voice. Motown at its best!!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed Smokey's concert. He looked fantastic and his voice was flawless. He sang all our favorite songs. We hated when the show came to an end. I highly recommend Smokey's concert. Ladies you have got to see Smokey in those red leather pants. So hot!

I loved the concert. Smokey Robinson has one of the best concerts and he still sounds the same as 30 years ago. All the women were going wild! We also went and saw him for the second time at the San Diego County Fair and that was also great. He is the King of Motown.

He's amazing! At 69 years old his voiice is smooth as silk and he has got some moves! He is very inviting and has great stories. I loved it and I can't wait for him to come back.

July 4 in the USA! The house was packed to the rafters!! We had reserved seats on the terrace level - PERFECT! The evening started with a small "hometown heros" parade, followed by the Navy Band who performed a vast variety of songs. We were treated to at least 15 minutes of fireworks accompanied by various songs. Smokey Robinson came on stage as scheduled and played for about 1.5 hours. He played his more popular songs, no encore (unfortunately). The evening was great just windy and cold. Who would have thought San Diego on July 4 would require a heavy jacket!

I have seen Smokey perform several times over the years. Last night, as always, he was absolutely wonderful. His voice is as smooth and beautiful as it has ever been. He sang most of his hits, along with hits he wrote for others. He chatted, incorporated quite a bit of humor, and encouraged audience participation. At one point, a couple of audience members started dancing in the aisle. Security tried to make them sit down, but Smokey told security to leave them alone. He wants his audience to enjoy themselves. Several women went to the front of the stage to give flowers to Smokey. He was extremely gracious in accepting the flowers and thanking the women for them. Smokey had a kickin' band and fabulous back-up singers. The lighting was brilliant. The last couple of times I saw Smokey in concert, he has had two dancers who just seem to come out and do a little dance now and then for no particular reason. They're more of a distraction than anything else. They add nothing to the show, and I wish Smokey would get rid of them. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. Smokey Robinson is a legend and a true talent. If you get a chance to see him perform, grab it!

You can't go wrong seeing Smokey sing, and Foxwoods MGM Grand is an incredible venue. Go see Smokey any time you get the chance, you will not be disappointed.

Four of us attended the concert that night & we all had the same comment: Simply fantastic show! We were all very impressed with his performance which soared way above any of our expectations. The consumate performer with an unbelievable back up band to boot! What a great time we had. I would fervently recommend this show to people of all ages, especially if you love Motown! We are definitely planning on attending another one of his shows in the near future. Trust me, it's well worth the price of admission. Keep rocking Smokey we love your music & your style..............

smokey was the bom, he was on fire. i love smokeys songs he blazzed the stage with his get down voice. he is a great show man that attracks all ages with his timeless songs that touches your soul and want to grove to his music. i saw all ages of people there young and old, NOW DOSE THAT TELL YOU SOMETING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

smokey surpassed my expectations! it was great hearing all the songs i grew up with. Motown!! he involved the audience (if you were sleeping before "groovin'" you now were awake). he interacted with the members of his band which showed his "down to earth" showmanship. i was happy with the seating, the FIREWORKS? the best i've ever seen!! the package was well worth it (preferred parking included). only one problem... i was hoping to get or find somewhere in the event a brochure that would tell me either the lineup for the evening OR a short bio of smokey (pic included). A keepsake.

Smokey put on a great show. He still has it! The sound and lighting was good and his range of songs also excellent . He hit all the old favorites and some new ones.

I was expecting a great show, but this concert was one of the best concerts that I have ever been to. Smokey's voice sounded like it did back in the sixties. I especially enjoyed the stories that Smokey shared about Motown and Stevie Wonder. I can't wait until Smokey is back in town, so I can go see him again.

Excellent show and seats! We truly enjoyed the night. Navy Band brought the spirit, Fireworks gave us awe , and Smokey confirmed why we are proud to be American!

He is such a musical genius. It was solid gold entertainment. His mic should have been turned up a little, because he was sometimes overshadowed by the music, but he is such a talented performer that it was still a great show.

OMG Smokey put on one of the best concerts I've ever been to! He not only sang all my favorite songs of his but he also incorporated some other classic Mo-Town hits that he wrote for the Temptations & Stevie Wonder. He would give a back story to each of these songs and then smoothly transition into the song -- it was so cool! Made you appreciate & love the song that much more! And he can still dance! OMG watching him move his body so smoothly in tune with the music was HOT! He still has it! He ended the performance by getting everyone involved with a friendly singing competition -- no joke! It was "Linda 1's Group" vs. "Linda 2's Group" and it was great fun trying to out-sing the opposing side! Smokey was such a pleasure to watch & listen to, I would DEFINITELY recommend seeing one of his shows! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!

My hubby loves smokey robinson. It was great, we really had a good time. He put on a awesome show and still has it. We saw him at the fair, and even though the fair was so crowded, unorganized and chaotic, i dont regret it. We had fun at his show. I would definitely go again to another concert to see smokey robinson. It was great to see all us older folks getting rowdy like when we were younger and going to concerts. Just goes to show that us older folks still have the young in us.

I've never seen Smokey in concert before. He has an amazing voice and can entertain! He's funny, looks good and dances really well! Loved the show!

If you haven't seen Smokey please get to a show soon. He was amazing and at 69 years young he was jamming and Cruzn' all the way.

The food and serrvice were excellent, the armed forces band was great, and smokey displayed incredible talent and ability to command and engage the audience.

Had mixed emotions about going to another concert at the edgewater due to the way they attach the small seats so close together with rip cords. Smokey just sang and everyone seemed to enjoy singing along. His two hour concert was filled with all his greatest tunes and I left with one of his cd's & shirts humming.

Smokey truly showed his real showmanship. the entertaining evening was terrific & the finale with the audience participation to Cruisin was spectacular! Thank you Smokey

The concert was magnificent! Smokey is an amazing singer with much personality and charisma. He went above and beyond to satisfy the crowd and I will gladly go see him again if he ever comes to Reno again. Thanks for an awesome show! Reno loves you!

Though the show started a bit late, it was well worth the wait. Smokey grabbed control of the audience all by himself and never let go throughout. It was a trip down memory lane that made me feel like I was back in time playing a 45 RPM Motown record while my mom grooved to a smooth Smokey song. It was truly magical and unexpected. I wrongly assumed that this septuagenarian could not possibly hit the chords and notes of his youth but boy was I wrong! Smokey hit all the right notes and had both myself and the crowd singing along to old favorites while not losing tonality, scale, key or tempo. His humor notwithstanding, Smokey took us back to the early beginnings of Motown with stories and then sung songs that he either collaborated or created with others. While walking down the intimate road with Smokey I noticed the audience reeked of adoration and carelessly traveled without a care in the world. Together, we smiled, laughed and became a part of Smokey's family. Yes, it was that good of a show. Truly a remarkable show for an amazing and gentle voice known as Smokey Robinson.

This was an awesome show. The man can still play at his best game. I loved every minute of the show, got my album signed by Smokey plus I scored the setlist.........

My dream came true to see Smokey in concert. His voice sound amazing. I loved his suit and matching shoes. I would totally recommend to see Smokey. I love the venue.

Took my mom to see Smokey and truly I am speechless! We had second row seats!!!!! This man is still GREAT! So smooth and silky just like a quiet storm blowing through my mind...............Blow baby! OMG at 77 years young WOW. Has not lost a beat, looks great, sounds great, was dancing and moving and entertaining us between songs! My mom was beyond happy, said this was the BEST mother's day ever! I've seen Smokey several times, and this small venue at the Saban was EXCELLENT!. He took questions from the audience, made some jokes with the audience, and let them pick songs. It was a full 2 hours of pure enjoyment! He also introduced Barry Gordy who was in the audience.

Smokey sounded amazing; his voice hasnt changed, soooo smooth and his band was stellar!!! This was my first time at The Rose and I like that it is smaller - you can see the artist/band up close!!

What an uplifting delightful show!! Smokey seems like such a kind person, interacting with the audience throughout the entire show. And his beautiful angelic voice still sounds the same as it always has. he was upbeat and smiling the whole time, really enjoying himself. he told lots of cool stories as well. Id love to see this again. Favorite part (too long for box below) I loved the whole show, but as he was leaving the stage he came over to hug a woman who had stretched out her arms, then shook hands with the man next to her. When he got to me i didnt want to assume he would want to hug everone, so i reached out my hand and he reached out his arms to hug me. So sweet!!!

We were mesmerized by Smokey Robinson! This show was amazing! Arsenio Hall was the perfect opening act, that man doesn't change. He looks great! Seeing Smokey is a must, he puts on a beautiful show. I thought it might not be long but this man is amazing and his voice has not changed. His voice is beautiful!

What a great show! Despite being in his mid-70s, Smokey's voice is still smooth, he can still hit the high notes, and he dances and jumps on stage. His energy and the way he interacts with the crowd makes it feel like you are just hanging out with him while he sings you some of your favorite songs. I would definitely go see him again!

This man is legendary. I had to keep reminding myself that he is 76 years old. His voice is still just as distinct and amazing as his earlier Motown days. His energy and vibe were so contagious that I spent most of the concert smiling. Love, love, love him!!

At 76 years of age Smokey is still a great performer. I was amazed by the numbers songs he's wrote & that I knew. At the age of 44, I was one of the youngest in the crowd.

Best concert I've been to so far. Smokey had everybody off their seat as if we were all part of the show it was a memorable occasion.

We saw Smokey Robinson at the Beau Rivage Theatre in Biloxi, MS. He is a master and performed as one. If you can think of a Smokey Robinson tune, he sang it. Yes, he's 76 years old now, but performed like a 40-year old. Very entertaining. Interacted with the audience like a professional entertainer, and that he was. If you've never seen this guy, go. If you have, go again.

Beginning to end, non-stop amazement and at 75 years young no less, Smokey Robinson is a timeless and true gift to us all!

You just will not be disappointed if you see Smokey! Having been there so close and personal, it was like watching TV as a child with the tele up close; except I WAS THERE THIS TIME!!! Gheez I can not express how much fun, entertaining, and reminiscing it was to see Smokey entertain everyone. Money well spent on my part and I would definitely see him again anyday!!

In the words of my friend, "This is the best 4th of July EVER!". Smokey can still bring it at 75 years young. Box seats are so worth the experience and the food from Patina was great. Even got a free cheese board from the sponsor Union Band.

This show was fantastic! The orchestra did a wonderful job and Smokey is still a great performer! The man's still got a voice. We also enjoyed the fireworks at the end of the show.

Smokey's melodies brought back high school and college memories when guys would serenade the ladies with smooth lines and pleadings.

The concert was unbelievable. He sang all the favorites and still sounds amazing. A true entertainer! The venue gave an intimate feel and we had great seats! The only challenge were the fact that seating was very tight and sitting in banquet chairs was challenging for a two hour show.

This show was fantastic. It was a two-hour show and well worth the money - in my opinion. I would gladly have gone back to see it again the next night.

I've listened to the music of Smokey Robinson since I was born! I have wanted to see him live for so long! I'm so happy he came to Chicago because it was fantastic! The venue was great! He sang beautifully! He's sings, tells stories, jokes! He's like 74 I think bit still puts on a great entertaining act! Dream come true for me!

Mr. Robinson is one cool, smooth dude even at 74 years old. He has such a wonderful stage presence and involved the audience throughout the concert. His performance was in the Top two I have seen at the Majestic! Going down Motown Memory Lane was just awesome and he really makes you feel like family! I have seen Smokey many times and couldn't wait for this concert. His voice was smokin' better ever taking me back to the sixties. My hubby and I totally enjoyed his singing. There were parts of the concert that I need to address. He had two (Vegas-style) dancers. they were superfluous (we had seen him with dancers with yrs ago and felt the same way). there was more talking than was necessary and the audience sing alongs drowned out his voice at the back of the theater(my friends were center back and hear the audience not Smokey) Finally his song Love Bath was a bit over the top. This was more like a Vegas-style show than a concert. Was not disappointed with his voice only the way the concert was executed

Smokey Robinson came out and put on a show with energy that would rival anyone half his age. He really engaged the crowd with stories and background on some of the songs that made the evening very personal. Great entertainer, in that he made the crowd believe there was nothing else going on his the world except the full house that came to see him.

Not only was Smokey on stage on time, but his voice proves there are no "touch ups" in the studio!!! Fabulous sound! And the way he engaged the audience with his jokes and encouraging us to sing....wow!!! I could've listened to him all night!!!

Smokey took us on his Motown time machine by singing the hits we all love and stories that made us laugh. Smokey showed his talent, comedic side, and his smooth moves. He can still get down!!! He also sung music that we love from the 80s and 90s, along with music from his new album "Time Flies When You're Having Fun". My how the time of the 2hr concert flew for we had a good time...the whole time! The band, singers, and dancers were incredible! I hope he comes to this area again!

I grew up with Smokey Robinson/Miracles and Motown. He sounds just as good today as he did back then. I try to see him every time he's in the area because this music will never die. He is a true entertainer and give a great show

Smokey hasn't lost any of the fire and sex appeal that he had when I saw him for the first time in 1976! The venue was great and the audience was engaged.

I purchased these tickets as soon as they went on sale for my mom for Mother's Day. Smokey has always been her favorite singer and I was beyond excited to get FRONT ROW. She cried when she opened the card and found the tickets. The show wasn't until October, but was WELL worth the wait. It was such a memorable experience for us to share. He was very entertaining and interactive with his audience. His voice is still IMPECABLE and he's a CLASS act. He looked amazing and can still move too! ;) I was in awe..............and knew that I was witnessing something very special. I'm so glad the stars aligned for us to make the show.

I've watched Smokey for many years. I live in Las Vegas but I am originally from Chicago,IL. In Chicago I watched Smokey and The Miracles many years ago at the old Regal Theater. The shows at the Regal were great. As Smokey stated at this show then you would see a movie and a show. Smokey has the same intensity and stage presence as he did then. I would venture to say he is even better. I really enjoyed the show.

This was my daughters 2nd time seeing Smokey Robinson and my 5th or 6th time. Smokey is and will always be a great entertainer ~ we truly enjoy ourselves everytime we go see him.

The odd thing about seeing Smokey was not just that the music was timeless, but so is Smokey apparently. At 72, a trim, energetic, tight-shirt wearing Smokey proved that time has little effect on the voice and the body. He moved on the stage with cat grace and sang with a purity of voice usually found in people in their teens. But mostly, it was his joy, his joy of being on stage, of entertaining and loving music and song that was most evident.

I was a lucky lady to get to go on stage with Smokey...He usually brings up two people to have the crowd sing along with him and then we are team captins for this side of the group. I got two hugs from the great Smokey, and the ability to say I have touched a teenage/adult/senior fan...what a great night with front row seats that were well worth the money. He has a fabulous show, and handsome as ever!!

This show was beyond my expectations. Smokey performed as he did when he was with the Miracles. His voice is still mesmerising.

show was terrific, seen smokey maybe about 4-5 times in A.C. ..he sounds like he's still a kid and look pretty great for his age. Loved some of the newer songs..he's very charasmatic..makes you feel happy hearing him sing.I would have loved to have him mention my name as it was a special occasion.

I'M SO GLAD TICKET MASTERS SEND ME EMAILS OF UPCOMING EVENTS. NOW I HAVE TO SAVE UP TO GET A FLOOR SEAT AT SADE CONCERT. Attending Smokey's concert was a great and refreshing experience. He sang standards and songs from when he was with The Miracles to his current songs. I love (aka My Sweet Baby), and his concert was proof that I don't have to "Shop Around" to look for a better performer. When he sings "You've Really Got a Hold On Me", "I Second that Emotion". No single person has a stronger hold on me. The performance was like a "Quiet Storm"---smooth and sexy, yet powerful and strong. Anythime he sings, I feel like he's singing just to me, like we're "One Heartbeat" and it brings an overall good sensation all around me. "Just Being With You" sums it all up. When the time comes for me to leave the concert, I'm sure you can see the "Tracks of my Tears". Our short backstage time together was phenomenal. You treat all your fans with such kindness and genuine appreciation; however, I am sure in my heart that you were saying to yourself all along..."Just to See Her". I'll be "Cruisin" around searching for your next local performance. The next time Smokey's in town, be sure to check out his show. If you don't fall in love with the man AND the performance, I'll have "Tears of a Clown". I am SURE that you will find Smokey Robinson to be one of the best (if not THE best) performers around. Don't miss him!!! When I saw you backstage Smokey you touched me the moment that I looked into your georgous eyes and I was captured by the gaze that caught me by surprise. I love you from the bottom of my heart.

I purchased 4 tickets for the show to celebrate my mom's 78th birthday on January 24th. I asked her what she wanted for Christmas and she responded, "Nothing, I'm going to see Smokey Robinson". At the time I didn't know if she purchased the tickets through the Senior Center or if I was to buy them. I grew up going to the movies at the St. George Theater and knew of the recent years of renovation (my mom also contributed funds to the cause). I was alittle skeptical attending, but man was I wrong. From the beginning to the end I sang, clapped and sat at the edge of my seat. It was an A1 performance from the number 1 crooner of all times. My mom had a terrific time also snapping her fingers and dancing in her seat. She is my number one and Mr. Robinson also joined those ranks. God Bless and keep doing what ya do! P.S. I would have loved for the Smoke Meister to authograph a playbill to my mom Thelma Means (she's in the book)

Absolutely azamzing show. He engaged in the audience, when he sang he looked directly at the audience and for those up close, like we were, seemed like he was singing to each person separately, great eye contact with people. Songs were amazing, new hits and oldies brought back wonderful memories. My husband got pulled on stage with Smokey, that will be an unforgettable moment, not too many artists do this, and it was wonderful for Smokey to want to give his fans that opportunity. Great voice, great performance and truly a voice straight from heaven...

This was a very special night. If you ever get a chance to see Smokey or to attend an event at the Queen Mary, don't miss it. The venue was unbelievable and Smokey was at the top of his game. Great band and dancers. Great rapport with audience.

Oooooooooooh-Weeeeeeeeee, a simply breathtaking performance by one of the Ultimate Music Legends ever!!!!! This was my first concert attendance at the Mable House venue and I was absolutely impressed. The sound quality was great and the intimate setting afforded an excellent view of the stage area (band members and backup singers). Now, on to the Real Deal.....MR. SMOKEY ROBINSON Himself!!!! As enchanting as always, Smokey did not disappoint by any means or measure, singing a total of 20-songs that ranged from his classic Motown Miracles era ("Oooh Baby, Baby", "The Love I Saw In You Was Just a Mirage", and "Tracks of My Tears"), hits by him on the solo tip ("Quiet Storm", "Being With You", "Just to See Her"), and more current day tunes showcasing his vast répertoire of classical, soulful, and sensual sounds ("Fly Me to the Moon", "I Can't Give You Anything But Love", "Time Flies When You're Having Fun", and "Love Bath"). The musicians were tighter than tight, the backup voices magnified the melodious arrangements, and the dance accompaniment tastefully complimented the theatrical appeal of the show, with Smokey exhibiting solid voice quality delivery and a high degree of energy throughout each phase of the concert (which considerably defies his 70-years). Just sooooo very Smooth, Fine, Gentle, and Seductive.....MY, MY, MY!!!! And in the words of Smokey's poetic lyrics, "The music is playin' for love, cruisin' is made for love---I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it yea, yea!!!" Smokey has been, is, and forever will be a sho'nuff Heartthrob in my book...Thump, Thump, Thump!!! ;-D

Smokey is the best. He has such a loving and warm style and you know the words to every song, and his voice is as good as the old days. The crowd was the best too! There was about 1/3 each black, white and latino and it was such a high grooving along to the music with all the brothers and sisters. Since it was the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, Barry Gordy was there and other famous people who have been with Smokey since Motown. Unreal!!!

I have never seen Smokey Robinson in concert and wanted to make sure I did now. I'm older these days and hope to be able to see all of my music heroes while they and I are still here. I must say that Smokey did not disappoint in any way. He is truly a legend and an ultimate professional. His voice is still so smooth and he still has those moves. I would recommend that anyone who is a Smokey fan see him this time around. Its a great concert with some of my favorite songs missing. But then he has so many that was expected.

Smokey Robinson is arguably the greatest singer, song writer of this century! He is also a versatile performer who is adept at involving his audience into the performance. He provided about 100 minutes of fabulous entertainment singing many of his hits as well as hits by other groups whom he wrote for! I highly recommend his concerts for anyone who enjoys smooth soul music!

My husband and I really enjoyed Smokey s performance. We d definitely go back to see him. Getting in the venue could have been less taxing, but overall, it was a great evening of entertainment. While there were problems getting into the Township Auditorium, once in it was a nice venue to see the concert. The local DJ comedian that started the show we could have done without for 30 minutes but once Smokey took the stage for the next 1:45 minutes he was fantastic. Still able to sing all of our favorites and swoon to cause fainting with the women, he was awesome. How much longer he can continue to travel is anyone's guess but one would never know that he founded Motown 58 years ago! Don't miss him whenever he comes to a venue near you! I see why he is a legend. Smokey is classy and smooth. The night was perfect. I love how he interacts with his fans. It gives the crowd ammunition to join in.
